✓ Excellent InterfaceYet another update. This App just keeps getting better, especially being able to map catches. Would be even better if the User map could be linked into owned copies of the iPh Navionics charts on the sames device so we can overlay our catch spots right over the chart. The Navionics charts also show tide times at tagged locations. PS: update of review: Love this App. Showed my mate & he got one too. And thanks for adding my wishlist items. NOW, to make this the REAL go-to fishing app, are you able to add localised tide times and peak values, say as an overlayed graph. That would make it easier to match tide directions to bite times, so l can plan where to fish. Love the interface on this App. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but keen to to test it. Until I do, the best improvement I can see, would be to for it to be able to pxt or email a screen-shot of the Month or Week or Day views, so that I can make plans with my fishing buddies. ✓ Excellent Fishing Resource AppI have been using this app (and their hunting app) for 5-6 years now I think. The fishing app is the same content just with a different theme. I am very pleased to see that they have updated them. It has been like 3 years since the last update, I was worried it was an abandoned and orphaned app. I prefer their graphical layout and calendar view much more over other similar apps. Plus it looks like the info is more accurate and in line with what other sources provide (but they are still off by a couple minutes). It has a SolLunar calendar, sun and moon rise and set times, major and minor peak activity times … all on a single easy to read page. Add to that a Trophies/Catches log. I have documented the peak times of catching fish on several fishing trips and later compared my recordings with the times this app provides as being peak bite times....conclusion? 100% accurate! ✓ Finally a fishing times applicationI've been looking for a little app like this for a while - glad to finally find it..... does what I want - calculates the 'best fishing times" based on location - and the ability to use your local location based on GPS or a known location is quite nice. The feature of capturing pics of your catch along with details of that is a nice feature - although it would be nice to somehow send/download this info - hopefully that will come in a future revision. When I first tried to select a known location I kept getting "not connected to internet" error messages - although it worked today - this nusiance, and the lack of ability to offload the catch details is only thing keeping it from a 5 star rating. It is fantastic for long term fishing trip planning it is a vinous that one can not plan for the weather 12 months in advance to guarantee you can get out on the water but you need a tool to try and work out the best days for your annual fishing trip. ✓ Fish CalenderThis app is truly a fishermans dream. The graph is very accurate. Between the the lows of the graphs you will catch very few fish. I have seen those fishing from the bank not catch many fish. If the barometer is below 30:10 the fish do not feed. When ice fishing a low barometer means the fish are not aggressive and may only nip at the bait. As the barometer rises they become more aggressive. You can have a 100 percent calendar with a low barometer you will not catch anything. Trolling in the summer for trout with proper gear will payoff most of the time. I have been deep sea fishing and this calendar works very well out there. I have a lot of fishing friends I have recommended and they are all satisfied. A barometer addition would be great for the area you are fishing. I love it. The new change does not show the clock. Before I could tell my buddy the fish will quit and start within 10 minutes..Version: 3.00

✓ Great toolUsing this tool I am able get a good picture of the bite patterns in the PNW. I use the sunrise and sunset to keep me legal since first light brings up the bite. Seeing the moon phase is great for trips to the lower Columbia when the tides are very important to the movement of the salmon. It also helps with reading the tribs up river and the effect it has on the fish. It still comes down to being in the right spot at the rift time. Sometimes when we go fishing we don't look at this before because were determined to go but then we look back at when we caught fish and were very surprised by how accurate it is. Just another one of those tools like my fishfinder my camera my fishing rods my lures and my hand-tied baits. The only small problem I find is it gives away my secret location when I forward photos, thinking about giving my secret gps location sometimes makes me crazy. I just hope most people don't realize what data is available from the photos on my iPhone. ✓ Negligible effectI've been using this app for about a month now and I am not seeing any coroalation between what this app saids Bass activity should be and what I actually observe. A few days ago my schedule allowed for some fishing so I went to a smallish lake by my house. It was a very nice day ideal for fishing with a light cloud cover. I checked Fish Cal and there was only a 15% efficiency for that day and I was starting to fish in one of the worst times according to the app. I was fishing top water, had a few strikes without any fish committing until one just exploded on it. On landing the fish it turned out to be the biggest I've ever caught, a 12 lbs LMB. According to Fish Cal I was wasting my time, I don't think so. Now maybe this app has more relevance on much larger bodies of fresh water and oceans but this app has no place in the fishing I do. If I had only gone by this app I might well have missed one heck of a fish. Stick to weather patterns which actually matter to fishing..Version: 2.5

So I looked for all my fish pictures in the past then went back in time in the calendar section of the app. They all match! They all fell near or on the major times. Now I can brag, or research my catches with my phone! You can record weight, length, weather, water temps. The moon table is pretty standard. Be able to attach Multiple pictures of my catches. I would also like to be able to take a pic and add info of my tackle set up used to catch the fish. A section of what I did with the fish after I caught it, ex. How i cooked it, tagged and/or released it etc. and also be able to take a pic of the dish if desired. I would also like to be able to put multiple sentences under notes that help in my success for the next time. These are some of the thing that fisherman value. One issue when I changed to a new iPhone my data hasn't come across so it looks like a manual copy of all the data photos and all - a bit painful. Then come back and correlate your data with the predictions and you will find it is at least 80% or more accurate. I am using the app on an i-Pad and wish that it were better adapted for the 8 inch screen. I have learned to use the fishing log and prefer it to apps that are logs only with no other features.
