✓ TipsTo get rid of the birds drag a master farmer over by the rocks. He/she will say they see something shiny and begin to create a scarecrow. To deplete the soil you need lvl2 farming. To get rid of the algae you need lvl 3 farming. After you get lvl 3 farming you need to put master farmers in the pond. But needs update!I love the virtual villagers series, it's honestly one of my favorite games ever created, and this version happens to be my favorite out of the series, I love everything about it. But I can no longer play it :( the mobile version has some lag with the scrolling, and the most crucial bug is that when you select to pause the game, it doesn't actually pause. Which makes all your villagers starve and die. Last day of work, I don't know if you actually read the reviews on your games, but if you do, please please fix the bugs in your virtual villagers games so I can play them again, I'd really appreciate it :).Version: 1.1.0

✓ Highly recommended!!This is a wonderful app! I didn't have any crashing problems at all. The game is difficult so you may need walkthru from google or something. Some tips: the algae won't go until you have lvl 3 of farming tech, so don't stress! Build a dam asap, then a scarecrow for the field. All food seems limited till you have lvl 3 farming so this is the highest priority! Babies don't happen every time, they don't need to go inside though! Just continuously drag a male on & off a female until your population goes up one. Sometimes it helps to adjust their skill to "parenting" for this. ✓ Great game but seems unfinishedThe end is a bit of a let down. You buy all these research upgrades and complete all the puzzles and end up in a bit of an anticlimax, you know? Nothing is really there to keep you to want to play after that. I don't mean that the gameplay itself was boring it's just I feel they could have made the end a lot better. Something to make you feel like all that time spent farming and building was worth it. You finally uncover the cave and the ancient writings but what does that give you? Nothing. You finally collect all the gong pieces and what happens? Occasionally one of your stats is maxed out on one person. Great. Why do we need stats now that the game is over? Don't get me wrong I like the game and all and I recommend you buy it to see for yourself. After all this is just my opinion and yours may well be different. Maybe I've just been playing too much iMafia and expected more life out of it but it's more of a case of the game doesn't end because you complete it, it ends because you suddenly run out of things to do. p.s for those of you looking for hints just google it, there's countless guides and walkthroughs on the web for every single aspect of the game, from how to make the first fire right down to which herb combinations make which stew..Version: 0

It's actually quite challenging, there are 16 puzzles to solve and I''ve been playing for the past 2 days and I've only managed to solve the fire one (and they told me how to do it!) ✓ SOLUTION PLEASE READ!Okay guys ive found a way for you to play without having to reset your ipod or download the app over and over when it crashes. All you do is when you enter the app and it just goes back to the page thingy on your ipod, hold down the off button until it comes up with " slide to power off" or something. Slide it and wait five minutes. This is called hard shut down. Plug your ipod/iphone in a charging/power kind of source. It will come up with the apple. Then it will turn on, enter ur passcode (if u hav one) and enter the app and TADAA! it works for me. Try it and tell me how it went!.Version: 0

And keep it on x2 speed check in every few hours or in the morning to make sure people aren't getting to old once you get to 90k tech points get 3 farming drag master farmer to pond and the will get fish to eat the allege you need 10 of these. ✓ BrillVery addictive, doesn't crash, worth the money brill. If you don't wanna know how to do this stuff, don't read on! When the sea fills with algae, research the farming to two, and climb the coconut trees. When they run out, build a dam at the bottom of the river, and you can then grow crops. When you want the fishing back, upgrade farming to level 3, and place a villager by the river and they shall take fish over to the sea to eat the algae. You might have to do this a few times to get it to work. Always try and get your science up, so you can accumulate the tech points faster and upgrade more upgrades easier. Get a builder and place them over the vines and wood in the north, and they should build a scarecrow so the birds don't eat your crop. If you want your villagers to not die over night, then go to options on the main menu, and click on paused, there are a number of other options you can change too. Remember to always get someone every so often to click on them and drag them around the whole map to see what they are thinking and can do there. The main techs to upgrade are farming exploration and science, and the least are culture and medicine. If you take a villager around the map, see if there are any strange plants, make them research them by moving them onto them, then they can heal people. Hope that helped Thanks Great app.Version: 0

To get lst 2 gong peices: You need to uncover the ancient mosaic then place a totom pole in middle on the sun and a peice should b there u need to have an esteemed elder to retrieve it. The one in the water u need to make a stew using 2 herbs from the big orange plant at south if island and 1 from the black plant this allows ur villager to hold there breath once eaten the stew place them in the pond. My biggest issue us that the progression of the game is very linear. If you don't research things in the right order you will have a very hard time. But then researching takes a long time too. It took days to clock up enough points to save my poor starving populace!! Enjoyable game though. ✓ Two tricks <:DIf you set your ipod's time farther ahead (settings) then things will go faster. I set my time ahead all the time for when I want tech points and use the clock app for when I need the time. I would suggest not doing this if you have little food. Instead, stay around and get mushrooms with the kids. When you are trying to get a baby, they don't actually have to go indoors. I've only had it a couple of hours but I'm really enjoying it so far. I check in on my village every few days to see how they are getting along, healing people who are ill, gathering food, building huts, and making babies! If you've played PC games like Tropico II or Settlers, it's sort of like that, only without the fighting. There's lots of little puzzles mixed in with the gameplay and the maps are really well designed. The game seems to evolve at a leisurely pace, making it a joy to play. ✓ Lacking, but still fun.I haven't played the first virtual villagers, I took one look at their mad, staring, pixellated eyes and went "err ... no" I think these villagers are really cute, they're a bit too tiny though which can make dragging and dropping a bit fiddly sometimes. I like how they take care of themselves both during and out of play and don't just run off and do something useless the second you look away, this certainly never happens in The Sims -_- Advancing your village happens really slowly, which I imagine is fine for someone who only plays it for 5 minutes a day, but there isn't much you can do in extended periods of play, you only need to do a few things and then it's just observation, which gets old really fast. Despite these flaws I find that even when I'm not playing the little villagers are usually in the back of my mind. ✓ Gr8!!!Finally I finished it!! lots of elder totems and I had on 2x speed all the time...removing algae by getting farming lvl3 then get a master scientist or farmer (both very easy by the end) and drop them into the lagoon, then they go and put the algae eating fish into the ocean, takes like 10 trips, get a master scientist, drop him onto stones at north anfmd he gathered wood, then do it again he makes scarecrow, pretty much the same for making dagger, to clear the cave, flowers 2 black chains (east) and an orange (south) get a 1/4 circle piece from the bottom of lagoon as they can hold their breaths, and after clearing sea, get population to about 20,leave for two day wile they get food (about 100,000 easily) then just breed like crazy 1/2 farmers 1/2 scientists 4 tech points, after getting rid of algae not many building work is needed, so don't get builders until needed, get an elder in doctor, (study flowers) scientist and farmer is easiest 4 elder...hope this helped :D....buy it!!!.Version: 0

✓ Prob one of the best games on the app storeI have downloaded around 20 games in a few days from the app store however i downloaded this as a gamble however since i have been glued and am always checking my ipod to see how my "little ipod people" are getting on. its supprisingly in depth and id recommend getting a walkthrough if you get really stuck. there is a lot to do and since it runs in real time "literally" it coud up being an extremely long game. the game works in the background when your not using your ipod and doesnt use any additional battery power :) . graphics are good for and i pod game and despite the small area you have to work with u are allways doing something whether its waiting for a baby to grow, waiting to build a structure solve a puzzle or gaining science points to get new technologies you will allways be doing something. id recommed it for fans of the sims or anything similar and gets an A* for beeing so damm addictive..Version: 0
