✓ Functionality doesn’t work, need updatingThis app doesn’t work on ios14. There are limited sounds. The option to play Apple Music or other app doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t use binaural but uses isochronic tones instead. Misleading app description . I have asked for my money back. Waiting for Apple to respond..Sagar0098Version: 9.1

✓ Used to be greatUsed to use this app all the time. Combining the sounds of the app with say a podcast or audio book all from one phone. Now stops all other apps once play is hit inside brainwave. Shame as they even suggest to use the app alongside iTunes or in the background with music. Bring back older version !!!!.C3233328Version: 8.1.3

✓ Would rate higher but does not work on my iPad.This is a great tool, and I have many of the modules, but it will only work on my iPhone, and not my iPad. :-( On the iPhone I can have it in the background while listening to music, audiobooks, anything I want, or just by itself. It is effective in energizing my work, my workouts, meditation, creativity and just getting me to want to get going sometimes. It's been instrumental in taking all my work to the next level. A go to app that I really appreciate, but it has not been updated and is not being updated to work with new systems and new devices. :-(. Beware. ✓ Ok, but...I end up never using this because of the lack of quality soundtracks to play over the beats. I have other beat apps that play beautiful music or sounds that e hance the experience and always end up using them. ✓ SORT OUT THE SOUND!!I’ve been using this for three years now and it definitely works but the ambient recordings need serious cleaning up. The thunderstorm setting has an annoying wailing sound in the background and similar affects all the rain settings, most likely from a rubbish recording loop. I’ve put up with it and usually just use the surf settings but it’s really irritating me now. Clean up the sound!!!!.RamamarxVersion: 7.7

✓ Not bad... could be improved.Only 3 stars AT THE MOMENT (technically I'd give it about a 3.5 but still...) Throughout my studies... (Sorry, I thought it was customary to start positive reviews like that...) No, really, this isn't a study aid but it has done what I wanted it to do. I don't know whether it's placebo or otherwise but it wakes me up when I need it, calms me down when I need it and aids in meditation. I'm NOT bumping it up to a 4-5 YET because there are a few things that could use some attention. 1) A little buggy at times; when I first got it it turned off if I locked my iPod and now it carries on going should I do so and I've no idea why. An update to make it work when locked all the time would bump up the score. 2) I know it should be possible so if there could be an update sometime to allow ambient sounds to be turned off and user's own iPod music to be used as everyone has their own preferred music to go with meditation or relaxation (just an example), that'd be great. Would allow for more personalization and attract a wider audience. If you can't do this then at least ad a wider range if ambient noise... possibly even a 'no ambient noise' option if it'd work. And I don't know about anyone else but I definately CAN tell the difference between frequencies... try comparing the 'creativity aid' with the 'meditation aid' and you should at least spot the difference there..Feral CubVersion: 0

✓ Headaches!!Great app, great idea!! I did have a deep sleep, I'm an insomniac so it's rare. But I can hear the 'brain waves'. Is that expected?? It's a kind of annoying noise and they give me headaches and have given me dizziness and made me more tired.
