✓ Eh and mehSo it was a good idea and all. the controls work very well on the touch, intact as far as ports go, I'd say this had done a fair job. There are a couple of issues that make it not the brilliant game it could be. For one, seriously not enough types of enemies, upgrades for you etc, the game gets really tedious after the 50th round where you are still doing exactly the same thing with absolutely no reward for doing so. Developers, add some more stuff, give us a reason to keep playing and this will be an awesome game..Version: 0

I got it back when it was free and enjoyed it immensely, but now on my iPad it looks terrible and the fact that it costs money for such a subpar experience is appalling. ✓ Revised for 1.3Increased * by 1 as 1.3 is better. I like we can now see the wizards/ archers and the increased functionality. Launching a meteor has become very problematic. Launching a fireball with a slingshot motion (pull back & release) is kinda cool. You can now throw people much higher, so some take quite a while to land. It'd be better if we could use them as weapons - falling from over a certain height causes splatter damage to others. Could we have a catapult or something to lob boulders etc at seige engines? The more killing variety, the more interesting. How about burning oil, flame moat etc?.Version: 0

✓ Tried to like it..But with blurry background, glitchy game play and just bad planning i cant like this game.. Paid the upgrade in the hope that would improve the background etc but no luck.. Still looks like its on new grounds 8 years ago.. Game play is in consistent, a move that will do something one turn, Good luck ever re-creating! Cant kill the wagons without fluke.. Bah.. ✓ HO HUMI bought this game based on the great reviews, but what a dog. All you do is flick little guys off the screen with your finger. It's really funny for about five minutes, then it's just work. Every level is the sme, just faster and more guys. Once you buy enough archers you just sit back and let the game play itself. There are only four upgrades you can buy in the game, after that it's just a test of how fast you can flick. The game could be salvagable IF: there were more variety in the levels; there were more tools you could buy; you could un-buy archers, builders, etc.; you could throw attachers AT each other; there was a weapons editor (like iShoot). There are also some glitches or careless programming issues; you can buy more than 1 wizrd, but you can't use the extras; half the time when you drag attackers into the cage you end up buying even more archers; the ratio of cost for builders is disproportionate to what it costs to pay for the rebuild in between rounds, especially considering the down payment. My 8 year old likes it, but he can't flick fast enough, so this one will get deleted. Considering how uninteresting it is and how grade school the graphics are, this one should have been free..Version: 0

✓ A fairly nice idea... but seems unfinished. There's really no variation in the gameplay here at all. Basically, you flick your index finger upwards a couple of hundred times, and wizzo, you've completed a level. There's a crude and unsatisfactory strategy element where you can buy some stuff to help defend your castle, but this adds minimally to the overall fun of the experience. Half the action in the came takes place in an eerie silence, and there's an enormous delay at the end of each round while you wait for your prisoner to be released. This is just lazy, half-assed programming. On my first attempt I got to level 21 and realised that the game had nothing else to offer, so I sacked it off permanantly. I suggest you spend your money elsewhere..Version: 0

✓ ReadI've had this game since the beginning, and have enjoyed it thoroughly, but these new updates are causing problems for my iPod. Not only does the game not work anymore, when it does, it is slow, un-responsive, and gennetally a waste of my battery. This needs to be fixed to save the game, I don't know how it would be fixed, maybe just reduce the game ram usage? I don't know, but without this game, im going to have to go back to imob, please dont make me do that! Until this is fixed, or explained as a fault of my iPod, only 3 stars, though it deserves much more!.Version: 0

Has bug issues like stick men getting stuck on the screen and then the level won't complete because of them and occasionally it will fully crash and exit the game so you have to start again. ✓ Sticky, not trickySimple art style and a fairly simple game. It's a fun way to waste a few minutes flinging stickmen around but as a player I walked away from it feeling very unsatisfied with the experience I'd just had. I would suggest you try other games that are out there first, but if you play a lot of games on the iPhone/iPod give this one a go but don't be surprised if you end up deleting it..Version: 0

✓ Great Game BUT....Awesome Game. I bought 'Defend Your Castle' first, so I decided, why not compare the two? this game's graphics are by far superior, but there is a glitch that has prevented me from winning a level many times. When you use the button to deploy your bomber, I sometimes click it right after, because there are so many stick figures attacking my fort at the moment, but when I click it again, the bomber does not explode like he should some of the time. then when I click it again, it just deploys another bomber. I have to wait and try to take out the enemies on my own, and in the mean time, the clicks on the button that were supposed to have exploded the previous bombers finally register and it just deploys a couple more, wasting valuble prisoners, and in the end, making you restart the level because your bombers were not working properly. Now in no way am I saying they never work, because about 70% of the time, they do, but recently, this has been messing me up and preventing me from continuing with the game. All in all, a very good game, and challenging too, but please fix this issue with the bomb button..Version: 0

✓ FrustratingI used to enjoy this game on the iPod, and just tried this newer version. The game play doesn’t work as described in the tips so you fail, repeatedly. Example 1: “capture one invader at a time and build up your number of prisoners”. No, the game only lets you put one invader in the prison until it goes away. Example 2: “double tap the tent to train a prisoner to be an archer”. No, the game doesn’t seem to recognize double taps. Example 3: “slam invaders into catapults to destroy them”. While you can slam invaders to the ground this has no effect on machines..Version: 1.9.0
✓ I want the basics BACK!Sorry to bash on everyone that loves this game, I do too... to some extent. I loved the original version the best, since it was just plain and simple bombs and stick figures' blood spilling when you dropped them ;) And maybe with wizards dropping asteroids on them, killing them by the hundreds ;) Of course, this game isn't intended for children, lest Apple get rid of this game ;) (I seriously hope that they dont do that just b/c some parents got mad that their children could download something like this) Anyway, awesome game turned into busywork with dragons and horses. I sort of wish the developer could just split it into 2 different modes, where one was easier and had less variety of enemies, just simply stick figures and castle bashers, while the harder mode could feature dragons and what not to satisfy those "hardcore" gamers, b/c there's TOO much stuff going on in the game, especially in the later levels. ✓ Erm... It's fun for a week really.I usually seek re-playability in my games, an if it is fun. Well, this app is great fun actually! It is just incredibly satisfying to launch tiny stick-figures into the air and watch them die! :) The upgrade system is also very well done, and functions quite properly. However, at about a certain stage there is a HUGE difficulty spike (in my opinion) later on, but that is probably the only major flaw of the game itself. There are also quit a few audio glitches on the way, and mine froze only a few times. The most glaring though, is that after the spike in difficulty, I found myself really not playing this much, for I had no reason to play on. I ended up unsatisfied, but the experience I had was great fun! So, yeah..Version: 1.8.6

✓ Meh...The game is pretty repetitive, throw person up in the air, out person in prison repeat. So it's nothing new, haven't done the cheat beacause i don't play the game very much. Gets boring and easy takes way too long before it starts to get hard medium is the same with easy and hard is just mega hard and impossible. even the little tiskc figures do massive damage if your not careful, pretty boring game altogether and the upgrades taek way too long to get. not very good..Version: 0
