Pocket: Stay Informed for Positive User Reviews

Love it, with a few improvementsI love this app and have used it often since I downloaded it about two weeks ago. However there are two improvements that would make it a better experience. I use the app for research, so I add several tags to each article, for example, type of resource, subject, source, etc. I would like to be able to search using multiple tags, for example find all articles with tag “dog” and “study”. Also, I would like the ability to choose a different display name for articles, since sometimes the url shows up as the title and it’s hard to figure out which article it is. Also, I would like the ability to add a short description, for example, “Discusses how to train dogs faster.”.Version: 7.17

Great AppI am very happy I got this app, it helped me clear up and organize websites I visit without concern I might lose the links otherwise. I bookmark my favorites like most people but it nice to see them all in one place and categorized. I wish they had customizable titles using color and or emojis for the tags. I also wish tags could be arranged automatically according to type, unfortunately you cannot, yes by selecting a tag you get all the items in that category. The last thing I wish is the ability to change the website tile, for example my “sign in” page on a website was the link I saved, it now says “session expired” in the app, it is hard to identify what you save in some cases and changing the title would be helpful..Version: 7.10.2

PocketWhat have you done to Pocket? It was previously both a joy and easy to use but now it is dreadful. I can’t find most of what I previously saved and navigating has become a nightmare not to mention how clunky even typing in the app has become. Please, please bring back the old format otherwise I will be forced to leave Pocket and find some other means of saving articles I want to save..Version: 8.0.3

8.0.0 regresses a few functionalities... 😕Since 8.0.0, I can no longer paste a link in the app (I cannot use the iOS Share Extension in some apps). Only workaround is to save using try he web app. Also, it no longer saves my read progress/location on long articles for example..Version: 8.0.3

Love it!Great for offline access or for a better alternative to Safari's reader view. Simple interface, really nearly configurable for font size, background, brightness, etc. Cross platform support is awesome too - save on your PC, read on iPhone or iPad later..Version: 6.0.3

Had to switch awayI don’t want to rate Pocket badly but I’ve become frustrated to the extent that I’ve gone back from whence I came some years ago - Instapaper - and docked a star rather than being all extreme about it. My parting advice is continue to allow Google & Apple (and regular password) logins and don’t pressure the Firefox account. And don’t repeatedly lose my links as has happened recently in the iOS app..Version: 8.0.8

A winnerIts simple and effective. There is no need to write some verbose review on a App that makes collecting read later material, that in its self is accolade enough. Just use it!!!.Version: 6.6.17

My back Pocket. As a writer, I find Pocket to be my go-to repository for all my reference material. I cannot emphasise enough the importance of this little app to my work. I cannot fault Pocket in any way, shape or form. Installed across all my devices, laptops, iPads, phone and workstations. Outstanding research tool for information storage. Simply superb..Version: 7.29.9

One of my favourite apps everI have been a Pocket evangelist for so many people. If someone from Pocket reads this: your monthly subscription is too expensive. I have been hoping ever since Mozilla acquisition that Pocket to go open source and free/cheaper. Also, i wish I could have my starred articles synced offline too. Finally, for some pages pocket simply cannot save them nicely formatted..Version: 6.6.24

Great appPocket is one of the best apps I have. I use it across multiple devices and platforms, no fuss, easy to use and nice to look at. If you're looking for an app to store all those articles you want to read later you should look no further..Version: 5.5.2

Loving it!I often read articles of my interest and most of the time I would want go back and refer to it. Pocket is the perfect app for that no just to refer those articles, also to organise and categorize the articles, which makes it super easy. Keep up the great work..Version: 6.6.14

Brilliant AppThis app is helping me to reduce screen time by bookmarking and reading articles that I’m really interested in. Rather than swiping and scrolling through the news for hours on end and getting depressed/anxious etc I’m still keeping up with what’s going on in a more focused and controlled way. Brilliant thank you to creators of Pocket. Also turning written word into audio is a great feature when I want to catch up but can’t look at the screen..Version: 7.28.6

Great app! This is an awesome app and has encouraged me to read a lot more than I used to. Always promotes interesting and helpful articles.Version: 7.29.3

My go-to reading appI save any longer articles to here for reading on iPad offline. Love it! Been using for a few years now every day..Version: 5.6

Easy app for bookmarkingI use pocket as a kind of bookmarking app both for read later and long-term references I want to keep. It’s my default for bookmarks.I don’t like the desktop redesign to be honest but the functionality works well for a relatively simple task..Version: 7.0.12

Best app to "Read It Later"Forget about Instapaper and Evernote, all you will ever need is Pocket. It is compatible with all my mobile devices, my desktop and on the web. The plain text display strips the pages of all unnecessary information and only displays the article and the images that go with it. Brilliant!.Version: 4.2.6

Pocket is my favourite app!I love pocket. So easy to just save a link and read later, means you don't lose track of those good articles too. No more opening a link in a new tab for me!.Version: 5.6.3

Made me love my iPad againI gave up Twitter a few mo this ago and needed a bookmarking app that could hold stuff to read, watch, listen to etc. So I signed up for a few digest emails and now I collect things in Pocket, save pages when I’m browsing, or as I remember to, using the simple Safari extension. The clean reading view has really improved my attention span! I can finish quite long articles now and not feel itchy for a refresh. And I created tags for the subjects I want to collect under long-term. Pocket has simply improved my life since quitting Twitter, so thank you 🙏🏻😊😊😊.Version: 7.0.4

Indispensable Asset!I don't know what I'd do without this glorious app. In a world of essential tools to organize, entertain and complete your life, I highly recommend the Pocket app in the top five of your infinite list of never-ending useful applications. I use it everyday. It's quite addictive! I organize countless articles, videos, bits of information from all over the internet in one easy to navigate and highly efficient place and the most important detail of all. The freaking app never let's me down. I can't say the same for a lot of the other apps. This one does its job and allows you to enjoy its purpose without bugs, crashes, or anything else that'll get in the way of your happiness. Great job guys! Suggestion to the creators of this wonderful app. If you ever decide to make any significant changes... Don't you dare. Create a second app and call it Pocket II. Don't mess with perfection. It's the demise of most great products. Ain't broke, don't fix it! Footnote: Any chance we can get a search and scroll feature on the widget, so we can locate links without going directly to the app?.Version: 7.4.0

Super handySooo handy!! Thk u!.Version: 6.6.14

Great AppI’ve used Pocket for awhile now and so far I have to say that this app is amazing. It does it’s job and never crashes, and it doesn’t lag or have any trouble loading any articles either. I’ve seen other apps that offer this service make you pay for them. While this app does have a premium that you can upgrade too, the free version works perfectly. The articles offered in this app are interesting and fun to read as well. I have no complaints for this app whatsoever, as if I did, it would have less than five stars. Don’t take only my word for it however, download the app or read the reviews! There’s a reason this app has an “App of The Day” reward, it’s honestly perfect. I haven’t had any crashes or awkward send-offs since I’ve downloaded and used the app. If you figure out to not like it, that’s fine too, however I must recommend that you try it out..Version: 7.16

POCKETI'm a bit of a tryer when it comes to apps. I looked at this one and wondered if I'd ever use it. Well, I downloaded the app, and love it. There's always things you see that you would like to look at in more detail, or when you had the time. This is the solution. Apart from Pocket suggesting articles (not too many), you just have to press "Pocket", and anything you see and want to save, is saved. No searching for the app, no trying to remember what to do - just press the icon . That's it ! I highly recommend this app. And it's free..Version: 6.3.0

Can improve on the listening functionThis app had one of the most natural voices for text-to-speech. But it doesn’t work for some articles, including longer articles. It would be great if there is an option to break up longer articles so they are compatible with text to speech if there is no way to make sure all articles are compatible with listening..Version: 7.28.2

Great toolI love being able to save web articles to read when offline or listen to later. It would be a great feature if Pocket could enable listening to all articles without a break so that we can listen to them when driving. Currently, it is not friendly to ‘hands free’..Version: 7.6.0

Returning customerSince I learned Mozilla (Think Firefox) acquired Pocket I decided to use the service again. Mozilla are leaders in internet privacy and look forward to seeing what they do with Pocket..Version: 6.6.27

Love this app, great for travelingI love how you can save a lot of articles to read offline- then when you're traveling you can still access them and kill time on planes etc. Sometimes I see the same article appear a few times in a row in my recommended feed- hence me giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars rating.Version: 6.2.2

IndispensableI have my Feeddler RSS setup to email links straight into Pocket so I can read at leisure offline. And I've even used Readability to turn my Pocket articles into topic-categorized PDFs for my less tech-savy friends..Version: 4.1.2

Crashes on opening - FIXEDUPDATE: the developer contacted me directly to let me know this issue is fixed, so I've updated my rating and am happy with the app once again. I appreciate the responsiveness and am so happy I can use the app the way I want to. I have used Pocket for years to store and read articles, and it has worked flawlessly. Recently I discovered the listen feature and was able to enjoy more content by listening when I wasn't able to read. However all of a sudden the app started crashing when invoking the read feature, and now crashes even on simply opening. I have deleted the app, restarted the phone, and redownloaded the app, to no avail. Reluctantly I'm now looking at switching to Instapaper. I'm loyal to apps that work well, but can't keep waiting for this to get fixed..Version: 6.6.29

Great for saving articles onlyI started using Pockets about 10 years ago, and I like it for saving online articles to read them later. It is cross platform and makes it easier for reading. However I would not consider saving any other link from the internet which is not an article..Version: 7.29.9

A Pleasant DistractionA nice way to pass time, find interesting reads and use my phone more productively..Version: 7.29.9

Love this app !I really love this app, I use it constantly, I only wish it were cheaper. I’d be happy to pay $5-10 dollars one time for it but unfortunately the current subscription pricing scheme pretty much rules that out. You see, once you set reoccurring subscriptions they can run on forever, and that’s a real issue. I know several widows that I’ve spent hours with trying to stop them after their husband passed away. I’m not young anymore, thing happen and if I were to subscribe the subscription may run on forever since my wife is, to say the least, non-technical. So if something happened to me she wouldn’t have the slightest clue what’s going on, why are these things showing up on a credit card and have no idea how to stop them. Problems of re-occurring charges could go on for months, even years, so I can’t do it. So a sincere “Sorry” to the authors. I wish there were a direct purchase at a reasonable price, but it is what it is. I subscribe to the Wall St. Journal, the paper edition, I’d like to have the digital as well but the same issue exists. My wife understands a news paper and how to cancel it, digital, no way. But thank you for Pocket even without the premium app. I highly recommend it everyone as an essential tool..Version: 6.6.18

Pocket makes life worth livingThis incredible app helps me focus on great stories and spend my device-time in a more positive, constructive, productive and fulfilling ways. Scrolling through Apple News today left me feeling empty. So I hopped over to Pocket and read 3 stories that I had saved. One article I read, I’d saved from the Pocket content feed in the Firefox New Tab — THE reason to switch to Firefox is to get Pocket article recommendations BTW (and ALSO better privacy). On the bus today, rather than reading crap, or scrolling through attention-grabbing headlines on Apple and Google news, I read an article about the gut microbiome, the state of glaciers in Alaska, and an article for work. And I learned something. Pocket is my favorite first-screen app that keeps me from wasting time on Insta/other places...and helps me stay sane, get smarter, focus on the things I care about. 6-stars for Pocket. 😀.Version: 7.6.0

Great discovery- have the article read to you!I love this app even more since I discovered the ability to have the article read to me. I constantly come across articles that I want to read but don’t have time to read it in the moment. This app allows you to save across all browsers and devices. The biggest problem I have always had with saving something to read later is the fact that I don’t return to actually read it because of time. But today I was up early and opened the app because I wanted to read an article that I saved yesterday and when I did this I noticed the headphone icon. I clicked the icon and it started reading the article. So today I was able to catch up on a dozen articles. Now I love this app even more..Version: 7.1.0

Great way to read internet articlesThis is brilliant. It gets rid of all the “noise” you get with reading an article on a web page, plus gives you the chance to save articles for later that you know you want to read but don’t have time for right then..Version: 7.29.9

Needs a widget!Great recommendations, but needs a widget for iOS.Version: 8.2.0

Great “File Cabinet”!Have found this to be probably my most used app other than Chrome. It has allowed me to save literally hundreds of web pages and tag them for quick future reference. No more searching for that one page I vaguely remember but can’t remember where from. Not only does it work from my laptop as a Chrome extension but also on my iPhone and iPad and they all automatically sync-up. I’m able to save directly from the Twitter app. My only other wish would be to make it work with the iTunes Facebook app directly. Have to open links in Chrome or Safari and then save, but that is only a couple of extra clicks to preserve an item I want to save..Version: 6.6.14

One of my Top 5 appsI don’t know how I ever lived before Pocket. I use it to save everything I want to reference later—whether it's a web article, product I might buy, or just to share links easily between my devices. It's one of the most useful services I have ever used. It really is the “Save button for the Internet”. Suggestions: - The UI in version 7 is a lot more spread out and has a lot of empty space, making the app feel “blown up” when viewed on the iPhone Plus. I prefer the more compact UI of the previous version. It would be nice if there was a setting in the app’s options to control the scale of the UI. I would prefer to see more articles listed with smaller photo thumbnails so I don’t have to scroll as much..Version: 7.0.7

Exactly like a pocket should be, just betterI love this app, it's super useful as an easy to use bookmarking system with the ability to save pages for offline. It's so easy to use and the user interface is beautiful..Version: 4.2.4

The number 1 app!If I could only have 1 app, this would be it! This is such a useful tool,I’d be lost without it. As you surf the net you can easily save articles, videos, photos, and read them later, either when you have more time or to keep for reference. I save workouts, recipes, diy tips ,just like a digital scrapbook..Version: 7.26

Works a treatI really like the ease of working with Pocket. Visually nice to work with i use pocket with Feedly reader and I've found the combination to be a great way to gather research and easily email info or store in Evernote.Version: 4.6.2

As knowledge management apps go, Pocket is the bestAs a consultant, I need to keep up with the constantly changing technology landscape. Pocket allows me to file and tag articles for later retrieval. I can read this body of knowledge on my phone or in a web browser where ever I am working. As I have been using it for some time there are a lot of articles in my Pocket!.Version: 7.0.12

Good, but loved the previous version moreThis was a great app. I used it for years. I loved being able to not just save articles for offline reading, but to listen to longer articles & annotate & highlight to my heart’s content. With the latest update however, I can no longer have it all-at least not all at once. I can’t easily switch between listening to going straight to the text at that point to highlight a key phrase I just heard. And if I wanted to actually read instead of listen, I need to hunt for my place in the article. Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by the ease in which the old version allowed me to toggle between all these different ways to enjoy the written word. Will these features come back?.Version: 7.0.7

Totally ruined a great app. Update August 23 - much betterI’ve been using Pocket for many years. It was the best read later app on iOS. However, Mozilla seem intent on destroying it. After this week’s update I can’t even access the home page. I’ve closed the app and also deleted and reinstalled it all to no avail. Luckily I had backed up my articles before the recent updates. I’m now using Omnivore and if Mozilla don’t fix Pocket soon I will move to Omnivore permanently. The last update seems to have fixed the main problems. Hopefully there will be no more updates that break the app..Version: 8.0.8

Across device exchangeThis app is brilliant if you using one device, eg your phone and the screen isn't really big enough. You can save it in pocket and look at it on your desktop later. Doesn't save ads that are often on the side of web pages, awesome..Version: 6.0.1

Great appGreat for saving pages of information to view when offline or just for future reference..Version: 6.6.14

Faithful companion of my learningsThis app allows me to use my commute time for learning instead of wasting my time on mobile games. Pocket in the morning when I’m fresh, video games in the evening to wind down.Version: 7.22

Very useful for collecting stories to read laterI use it with a chrome extension (on desktop) to tag time to read stories in minutes, which makes finding the right story to fill the right gap of time very easy..Version: 6.6.14

Very useful appSyncs across devices, allows you to read offline, etc. I've been using it for well over a year and never had a problem with it.Version: 5.0.2

A great way to save and store written materialI use and have used Pocket for quite a few years and I wouldn’t be without it. When I browse the net and see articles I don’t have the time to read , I save them to Pocket to read later. In addition Pocket makes the print and set out of the article more pleasant to read..Version: 7.22.2

Best way to stay on top of your reading listWith pocket, I get to track my reading habits, ensure I always have access to the articles I tag - even offline during flights! - while also being able to find them in the future. I used to have trouble "losing" bookmarked articles, and never being able to find articles that I liked and wanted to share with friends. One cool thing I've managed to do is use external apps to move Pocket articles to Kindle. It works fine but I wish the app would have it as a native feature. Regardless .. Pocket solved the most aggravating issues I had. I've already recommended it to many people and will continue to do so..Version: 7.0.12

Much to love, much to be fixedMy favorite feature, by far, was text to speech, but it’s gone! I’m really happy this app is in active development but pleeeeease bring that feature back. I see it’s in the AppStore screenshots but it’s not in the app. A feature that’s being withheld while the kinks get ironed out? Please let us dedicated users know. Thanks! Oh and FWIW I’m a premium user and have been for many years. Update: after some hunting, I found the public beta and installed it through TestFlight - now the text to speech feature is back! 5 stars for making this available - a fantastic workaround for folks like me and it’s really great to have a public beta to test/use. Thank you Pocket Team!.Version: 8.0.1

Effortless organising of my readingA terrific and easy to use aggregator for all my web-based reading. The smartphone app also permits the OS voice assistant to read aloud to you..Version: 7.29.3

Great way of saving articlesHow many times have seen an article that you wanted to read but didn’t have time to do so immediately? Or, having read it you thought it worth filing it away so that you could refer to it at a future date? Pocket allows you to do both. Being able to tag articles means you can easily access your entire collection relevant to a particular topic..Version: 7.26

One of the greatest apps ever.Love it. If I don't have time to read an article on my laptop, I right-click it, and there it is on my kobo and iPhone whenever I am ready. Seriously brilliant..Version: 5.0.2

A Really Great ThingI have been using Pocket for a long time. I find it very useful, interesting and worthwhile. It helps you organize all the articles you like so you can easily access them. The site deserves 5/5 stars, in my opinion..Version: 7.1.0

A very practical way to read newsPocket is a great app for storing online news for reading off line over a coffee break.Version: 7.28.3

Perfect article ApI flag the articles from the desktop when I'm busy yet interested in the topic. Then waiting for my beloved... my takeout... on the tarmac... there it is, momentarily forgotten, now enjoyed..Version: 6.5.18

Such a variety of articlesI have been enjoying pocket for awhile now. I love how much variety there is . As well the many different sources of media. It’s like having a magazine/ news stand at your fingertips..Version: 8.0.5

Brilliant and thank youThis is crucial for anyone learning what they need to know in life.Version: 7.6.0

SmashingCame to this from Instapaper, which is good too but absolutely love Pocket. Especially the fact there is also an iPad and Mac app and the bookmarklet makes it a no brainer to use. To the person whose app is crashing - have you tried looking at the website to see your saved links there?.Version: 4.2.6

Great App!I don't know why people are complaining about difficult start up. So easy to set up.. Download the add on for your browser on your computer and you are set! I save pages to read on my computer then sit on my comfy couch and read away on my iPad or iPhone! Great App!.Version: 4.2.6

Nifty little toolPocket has become indispensable for me, wether I see an an interesting article on my iPhone, at lunch at work or wherever I come across it, you can save it to pocket and read it later on your couch. It's proven particularly useful to save great articles from your LinkedIn feed before they disappear!.Version: 6.6.14

App loses buttons after I share an articleThe new face of the app is great. And I love the app itself so much that I’ve been using it for a very long time now. However, currently there’s a bug where, after sharing, the page loses all the icons or buttons. What is left is just the page to read and scroll up and down. You need to close the app to be able to share the article a second time around..Version: 7.0.11

Simply the bestI've been using Pocket since before it was Pocket and it is simply the best bookmarking app out there. I use for storing and sorting articles I need for my work and I find it incredibly easy to use and reliable. I've used them all, but Pocket is the one I've stuck with..Version: 6.6.14

Great idea for an app!!I really love being able to access the reading lists of the people I follow on Twitter. Such a great feature!.Version: 7.29.3

One suggestionAbsolutely freaking love the app, only wish would be please create an optional folder system 😂 or even a grid view of some kind for the organisational freaks like me who like to see things nicely put away as opposed to a looooooong list of articles with tags.Version: 7.29.9

Brilliant ApSo useful. Easy to use. Thanks.Version: 6.6.14

PocketGreat app, downloaded it a few days ago & finding it really useful. As a creative I'm always finding or getting sent links to inspiring artists & articles and found it really difficult to keep them all in one place - sure you can bookmark but hard to keep both work & home & devices all updated! Pocket gives me a way to save it all to one app using their bookmark button (I had no troubles setting it up on both pc & Mac) plus if I don't have my iPad handy I can access my links on their website! So useful for someone who likes to sort thru links using images & tags instead of words. Sure, sometimes it's a little buggy but overall for a free app pretty darn good..Version: 4.0.0

Couldn't travel without itPocket was a life-changing app for me. I love being able to send interesting stories etc to pocket then download it in the airport lounge to read inflight..Version: 6.4.1

Keeps me sane on the trainThis app is brilliant. I have it linked to Zite and Digg on my phone, and use them to find articles, sending them to Pocket. Then on the bus I have a large array of reading material to read on a tablet. The tablet syncs automatically over wifi at home, then I just read my articles note way to work. Brilliant, stable, efficient. Great app. Keeps me sane on public transport!!.Version: 5.1

Tagging Way Worse Now!First off I want to say I love Pocket, have used it for years, and have never found a better “read later” app. That said, the latest update has very nearly broken the tagging system! I used to be able to go through and tag the day’s saves in a matter of minutes by batch tagging, and that seems to be gone - you can’t select multiple items to edit or add tags all at once, and tagging each item individually is much more tedious! Even on the individual items, tagging is now a major pain. It pops up the text box on top of the list of tags so you have to type the first one - you can’t see the list of tags at all! The space below the text box is empty - why not put the list of tags there more like it used to be? It used to autosuggest tags based on your existing tags and now it doesn’t. I do like the new filtering system and where that interface is going, but my goodness, did you have to bork tagging to get that?.Version: 8.0.5

Best AppMy Favorite app. I deleted instagram and facebook and realised there was a lot of time that needed to be filled, and I wanted something interesting, informative and engaging to replace the scrolling that was so addictive and this has been the best thing for that! Interesting article after interesting article! I hope the app grows and expands as it is great.Version: 8.0.4

PocketThe thing i love the most about pocket is that it is often much more pleasant to read an online article on pocket. With the way the page and text look and is structured i kinda forget I am reading something digitally, totally beats safaris web reader..Version: 4.1.2

This is excellent! Not sure what the reviews above are talking about, this app is just what I needed. I can save any ideas i see online to my pocket, especially fantastic for art and craft projects and sewing patterns- viewing them offline later when I want to make them, or when I'm shopping or fabric or supplies. Awesome! Thanks!.Version: 4.0.0

Love PocketThis is such a great app. You can save anything you haven’t got time to read until later. Wouldn’t want to live without it now, so helpful..Version: 6.6.24

AwesomeI have been using this for three months and use it all the time. I finally get to those articles that I keep meaning to read. This is my first review of an app so that gives you an indication..Version: 4.2.6

PocketPocket is one of the few apps I have on my ipad.Version: 7.29.9

App requires bookmark renaming functionality.Perfect app in all other facets. For it to be useful however the app needs the ability to edit the titles of the bookmarks. When a bookmark is imported from twitter the bookmark is named as the tweet author, so you don’t know which bookmark is which..Version: 7.1.0

So usefulI love listening to articles on Pocket, but I’m having trouble changing the voice that reads things for me. It will only speak when I have the original female US voice. If I change to a UK male voice it just doesn’t work, after changing to offline voice only, and just skips through all my saved articles without reading them. Am I doing something wrong, or is this option only available for premium subscribers? Still a great app, anyway..Version: 7.29.9

Great App!Very useful for saving articles from the Internet. But would be great if you could create folders so you could organise similar pocketed items for future use instead of having to search for tags..Version: 4.2.5

The King!Read It Later and Instapaper are direct competitors. To be frank, Instapaper is more popular. Don't know why! In my experience, Read It Later has a much better User Interface and is a lot faster than Instapaper. The syncing is quicker too! And the articles somehow look a lot better in Read It Later. On my Mac, the Read It Later is again faster than Instapaper. If you just want one app of this kind, go for Read It Later. It's awesome!.Version: 0

Great app, but please bring back paywall download supportGreat app for free/public content but since over a year or so the paywall login download feature has been broken, please bring this back..Version: 7.29.8

In my PocketA great app, which as the name suggests, is something always at hand for easy reference of any saved articles. Also the automatic saving of any link at the touch of an icon, makes it so quick and easy too use. It is my favourite app always in use saving articles from the web to read at my leisure as well as acting as an reference book. I wouldn’t be without it now..Version: 7.28.6

Share icon disappeared, restarting device is not a solutionYo, would be great for you to fix the issue of the share icon disappearing. I’ve restarted my device a few times now just for Pocket but still it’s missing again now and it’s frustrating..Version: 7.29.1

Love this appPocket is fantastic, recommend to everyone. Easy to use and just a wonderful idea. Can’t travel without it. Thank you.Version: 6.6.14

Absolutely brilliantI never write reviews, I can't be bothered. But this app gets one. I have it installed on my iPhone, MacBook, and my iPad. It's absolutely amazing for traveling, and just organisation in general. Often I come across an article I want to read but I don't have time. I save it and catch up later. Prefect..Version: 6.2.1

Almost GreatPocket is a really good app, however there is no way to edit article names which I found to be really annoying. Without this oversight it probably would have been a five star for me..Version: 4.5.2

Crazy how good the recommendations areThis app always has such interesting stories that I swear it seems to know me way too well. I’d say it must be spying on me, but I know it isn’t because Mozilla makes it, and they don’t do that..Version: 7.1.0

Top appPocket is easily in my top few apps. Have been using it for years! Simple way to save reads for later from all sources..Version: 6.6.14

Pocket - A wonderful app for capturing articles of interestFor months now I’ve been using Pocket to capture articles and stories of interest, primarily from browsers, either on my phone, my tablet, or my PC. The user interface to capture articles could not be more simple. I often find I do not have the time to read an article immediately, so I save it to Pocket so I can leisurely read it later on. This also saves me time having to look up the article since I might not even remember where I saw it. The other benefit is that Pocket removes all the annoying advertisements and links that distract you while reading. I also like the fact that Pocket organizes all of your saved articles in one place allowing me to print an article or share with a friend later on. I’ve shared my love of Pocket with many other individuals - all who have thanked me very much for sharing such a timesaving and convenient tool for capturing information of interest..Version: 6.6.30

Pocket app reviewI love this app & so glad I found it (by accident lol). I save anything & everything to this app so I have a permanent place to keep the things that I can read at my pleasure. I can’t thank the makers enough for developing this app. Download this Pocket app NOW you definitely won’t be disappointed. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 5 stars for a 5 star app. 😁.Version: 7.29.9

Great service, weird app tabsI’ve been using Pocket for a very, very long time and the app is great. The recent update and redesign makes the app a lot more coherent, and usable. It has a weird “home” tab though, which doesn’t allow you to control any home automations. Instead that tab contains recommendations, which is really awesome. I don’t feel “at home” when I’m on that tab though, I think it’s named that because from an ego-centric design perspective, that’s the tab that the designers think of as the most important one. I don’t share that view. It would be more helpful to users if it was named something that was relevant to them (like, “Recommended” or “New Stories” or something like that, I don’t know, that’s their job to figure out). Other than that, the new app redesign is awesome and I look forward to using the app a whole lot more, now that it’s more focused!.Version: 8.0.3

One of the few things I like getting in my inboxPocket has well selected articles that assist critical thinking. It has helped me find content that contributes to my life rather than wasted it. Nice work team!.Version: 6.6.14

Update still needs a lot of workPocket used to be my favorite and most reliable app, however, since this new update rolled out, it has been frustratingly buggy. 1) articles no longer save my place, so now I have to scroll and find where I left off 2) I added a bunch of articles to lists on web but can’t see them in my app and also can’t remove them from lists without deleting them from pocket 3) pocket in browser defaults to web view instead of reader view. I wish the team had spent more time working out the bugs in this update and on common sense features (like making lists translate across platforms) rather than designing a flashy new home screen..Version: 8.0.4

Much better than apple’s ibooksI started off using apple’s ibooks for saving fanfiction that i really liked. i had been using it for 2-3 years and i loved that it could save stories as PDFs so that if the webpage was no longer available, i’d have a copy. recently, i updated my phone and a whole bunch of my stories were gone and i was so devastated because the webpages have been taken down ),: pocket is a nice alternative to ibooks because none of my files have disappeared! the only small thing i have is that the main interface seems so cluttered and i wish i could put my stuff into categories instead of tags because it looks cleaner and be able to merge different articles because i have multiple chapters of a story but i have no way of connecting them. all in all, pocket is a wonderful app! 💓.Version: 6.6.18

Great but not perfect yet.I love this app I save stories that are of interest to me I then listen to them in the car. It however, frustrating when some stories will only partially play then stop before they have got to the end. I would give this app 6 stars if this could be sorted out. An example of this is: Paul Whelan: The strange case of the ex-marine jailed for spying in Russia It plays fine until about 13 mins and stops with about 8 mins still to play..Version: 7.24.2

Stress LessPocket allowed me to stop relying on Facebook for article suggestions. As a result I quit social media with no fear of missing out. So much better for my mental health..Version: 7.4.0

Great!Pocket is the first one of these that I’ve continually used. Great to have all my reading in one spot and so simple to use. Highly recommended.Version: 6.6.14

Just found Pocket 👍😻👏🏻Just found/used pocket and it is fantastic! Can’t wait to use it again on a regular basis 5 out of 5.Version: 7.5.0

100% RecommendI don't use my bookmarks folder anymore, I just save everything to Pocket and can then read it on my computer or on my phone, offline! Utterly invaluable, I recommend it to all my friends..Version: 6.3.2

One of my core go to appsI use this app all the time and it's so easy. It's a folder of my must read when I have time and a cabinet of readings I want to keep. I love this app.Version: 4.1.2

Life-ChangingA powerful organizational tool. I think both extremes of personality types would benefit—the type who needs organization done for them but also the type who can’t function without organization. As long as you take the time to create tags, keeping the articles organized is super fast. Then you don’t need your 10 different sources of articles in your life, only this one. As we are bombarded with new information not just daily but all day long, this is a complete necessity. You take each article you are interested in as you come across it, and simply hit your share button which will have your links to text, email, and social media, and will also now have your “pocket” icon. You share it to pocket, and if you have tags set up it’s even better to instantly organize. So then you won’t have to save that email anymore that told you to go to that link, you trash that, you don’t have to save a news article to your browser folders or to any news app, you won’t have to save any articles in folders on your social media apps. You can delete all that info in all those inboxes, and have all your articles in one place, in a format that removes all those annoying pop-ups! Then when you are at a better time of day (or at a later date), you can peacefully read all your articles in one place, grouped into topics you can pick to read as a group, whichever topic you feel like at the moment, all collected in one place..Version: 7.28.5

Read It LaterThis app is the single most utilised 3rd party app I have on my iPod - period! I have over 2600 pages saved already and with the built-in tagging system sorting and finding such pages for later reading is next to effortless. I highly recommend RIL for anybody that utilises the net for research purposes and downloads web articles in bulk for later viewing..Version: 0

Deleting article app crash (fixed)I was loving this reading app so much till recent patch that made the app crash whenever I delete articles. However, this got fixed by the latest patch! This app has again become my fav app on my phone!.Version: 7.0.4

🤯Amazing app. Use it almost everyday. There is always something new to find. The app is extremely simple to use and has a range of topics for you to read about. However, I would like to say them at there is no search bar (unless I am unable to find it) but this is not necessary as the articles that I am interested in are already recommended. Definitely download this. 💯💯.Version: 6.6.30

Great short storiesReally terrific short stories of interest that one can save & read on those occasions when you take five or ten minutes for yourself to immerse oneself into items of interest and learn from the read. So try it, it’s worth the time and the ability to read & form an opinion on stories you have saved, great product..Version: 6.6.14

Tame the firehose!Pocket helps you manage all your upcoming reading in one place, whatever your device. If you read a lot, all over the web: use this to tidy it all up..Version: 6.2.2

Fantastic! Great job!It helps me to store the website or info I want to look into but don't have time at that moment. It syncs to all my devices, I can view them whenever and wherever I got time. Thanks..Version: 5.0.1

This app is awesomeDoes what it says, great for saving your articles, opens quickly so you can save links. Would like more features such as better organising of articles, and maybe being able to display articles better especially ones that have multiple pages. Thanks guys!.Version: 5.5.2

Great offline readerI love being able to save articles for reading, especially when I take long flights were there is no internet access. The app does a great job of including graphics and tables from most articles and at the same time left out the ads. For some reason, it is unable to include graphics from a few articles that I found of interest. I can only assume that the internet page includes ads and may not be able to discriminate between an ad and an actual article graphic. This may likely be because of how some ads are peppered between paragraphs. I found this a little difficult when the article referred to an illustration that was missing. In any case, this is very nice app and highly recommend it..Version: 6.6.14

Undeniably the best Read-later serviceA solid service, with great features, from the makers of Firefox. Would love to see iOS Safari extension. Update: Re the developer response; I am not talking about the share sheet, I’m talking about a proper Safari extension made possible in the latest Safari version.Version: 7.29.3

Excellent at what it does - poor widgetsGreat collecting and reading experience - it just works beautifully and makes it simple and pleasurable to save stuff and read/watch it later. I also really like the recommendations/trending and would like to see that expanded. I was on Instapaper for years but moved to pocket because i prefer it. I have a lot of time for this app but the widgets are rubbish - you can’t see your own collection and they use the space terribly. I also worry the app is a privacy nightmare, would be nice if privacy/not selling your data was something you could pay to opt out of..Version: 7.29

So convenientMy go to app for travels when internet access is not available..Version: 6.6.14

Great Tool - feedback inhibited and recommendation refresh issuesI love this app as a means of reading interesting and disparate content. However, the Recommended article view has become dysfunctional - regularly now the list refreshes to include multiple pages of content I have just reviewed. I tried to report this via email in the app but the app thinks I have not lodged my email address, even though I have..Version: 6.6.19

Great way to keep on top of readingI have to read a lot for my work, but usually the time I find a story is not the best time to read. Pocket lets me save things for later so I can read on another device (fewer distractions) later. And finally they've introduced saving directly from mobile safari, which is cool.Version: 5.6.1

UsefulA useful way to store interesting articles etc for later. Pocket weekly emails with suggestions open up a wider selection to check out..Version: 6.2.4

Probably the most well executed app I've usedIt's simple to use, and provides a great way to save your bookmarks for reading for later..Version: 6.2.1

A must have!Awesome app and really handy for those times you have no internet access or just saving the article for later. Would be good to add a scrolling wheel to the list page..Version: 6.1.1

LOVE pocket!!I love pocket! Has been such a life improver. I now have all my reading in one place. Yah! Update oct2018: where has the add button gone in the new update?! A few things is like improved: 1. Wish there was a pocket app for desktop where as I review an email I can write click a mouse link and the article would save to pocket. Yah! And or email newsletters go direct to pocket and I just select the articles in a list I want to add to my pocket; 2. Wish I could add pdfs. A lot of great reading are. 3. The tweet, even through buffer often doesn't work when on the tube. Seems to searching for online when setting up a buffer tweet is supposed to be an offline function to tweet later. 4. Guess I miss seeing comments about an article. Again to not only see but be able to comment offline would be great. 5. Wish I could turn the page around horizontal like normal reading on my phone. But really love buffer! Would happily pay eg £5 a year for this, maybe a bit more. Well worth it..Version: 7.0.4

Must have!An app I use on a daily basis, to save articles, recipes, anything at all really!.Version: 7.29.9

Best little appThis is one of those apps that are indispensable if you are a busy person. My everyday churn is a lot simpler because of this app,😎.Version: 6.6.14

My Favorite New AppI love this app! I had saved many items for later on Google’s Reading List, but I couldn’t use it on my phone because it wasn’t synced with my work laptop (and I couldn’t sync it since I’m not an admin on that laptop). This solved a major pain point for me and now I can save articles and videos for later from any device including my work laptop and choose to look at them from any device any time (laptop, phone, iPad). Now, instead of my reading list endlessly growing, I actually get a chance to check things out during breaks or downtime and I’ve already caught up on so many things I would have never done if I had to use my laptop..Version: 7.29.9

Best App for online content storagePocket one of the best apps and must have apps that I have come across in recent times. Helps you store content and access it in place rather than having to store a link and access it later. Seamlessly syncs with all my devices and can pick up where i left it off. Lovely app! Awesome features! Kudos to the team!!.Version: 7.3.0

Was a great app but Latest update is broken- avoid for nowLatest update gives time to read estimates - nice. BUT core functions no longer worked - can no longer read anything in web page view - only in article view and not all pages will display in that view. Before latest update Pocket was one of the very best apps there is. Now though until they fix this I would avoid it and don’t download this version..Version: 6.6.16

Wish I could read and listen at the same time.Wish I could read an article to follow along while listening at the same time sometimes. This app has been great otherwise. Definitely has helped optimized news reads for me and now I consume much more constructively. So much news is happening all the time now I had been having news article ADD and not a good way of going back to a story I didn’t finish. Then I tried this app and have been super happy and much more organized. Maybe an update where you can read and listen so you can see graphs and visuals if you are sitting and listening anyway. I have always struggled to read for long periods of time so the listening feature was kind of what I was looking for when I found this app. Still it works well and I use it often..Version: 7.28.2

PocketA great app to read subjects of interest. Save to your phone and read while waiting at the GP, late arriving friend, coffee alone, etc..Version: 7.29.3

Love recipe saving!I love Pocket for saving recipes, has worked very well for me for the last 3 years but lately if I add something when I go to find it, it is not saved...and sometimes it doesn’t show anything I’ve recently saved until I use search bar ...I now check after saving everything to make sure it is there, sometimes having to save up to 3 times for it to register. This is a recent experience, up until now it has been very easy to use and reliable..Version: 7.24.2
