✓ Tanks a lot!An absolutely fantastic game I've loved since I played it on the PC. Annoying though that I've purchased the game and I need to pay more for additional weapons. Kinda makes me feel annoyed towards the creators. If we pay for a game we shouldn't have to pay several times for more updates, it kinda defeats the purpose of buying the full version..Fitzy3221Version: 1.6

✓ The game is funI like this game and have the pro version. Unfortunately the app just had an update and now the screen is so zoomed in, you spend half the time zooming out so you can make your shot on your opponent. This also makes it extremely difficult to judge any adjustments that need to be made in order to correct your next shot. Please correct this issue!!!.BlueBenderVersion: 2.4.3

✓ Great game but...This is a great and polished put game, but the newer weapons are lacking, the recent few release were a disappointment. The latest release cost 4 dollars, I don’t remember the other releases being that expensive, I remember them being 99 cents. Be nice if we can try them out before buying, of course there’s a sandbox type but how am I supposed to know which weapon is new and which is old. WiFi or Bluetooth games lag..XxryooxxVersion: 2.7.0

✓ You don't stand a chanceThis is the closest I've seen to a good "Scorched Earth" type tank game for the iPad. Very well done, but unplayable. When playing against the computer, you don't stand a chance. It takes 2 or 3 shots for you to zero in on your opponent but the computer nails you with a direct hit every time. And then the computer hits you with a shot that moves your tank and you have to start over. But your opponent never misses. Not fair..Rgnet5Version: 2.3.1

✓ Not like the pc game, or even interesting in its own way, get ishoot instead...This game is a joke, 2.99 for only fighting against one tank, limited weapons, cant apply your own settings, only one landscape, its terrible. Only reasons its two stars is because at least its possible to have a fight. ✓ Needs Updates Then 5*I've been playing pocket tanks for years now and the one thing thats always frustrated me is that there is no back button after you have selected 1 player or after the difficulty, pretty much after anything which means you have to re-launch the app every time. Also I've paid £2.99 why are not all 190 weapons that you get with the PC version available on this version?? I know you get more than the free version but it doesn't seem worth paying the £2.99 as it's not any different you just get a few more weapons which isn't worth the £2.99 you pay! Last thing, i would love this game to be online as a few of my friends have it and i can only play against them in the 2 player mode which means they have to be sitting next to me! All of this could be accomplished by a simple update please update then this would be worthy to receive 5* and then it would be worth £2.99..Thebees01Version: 0

✓ Almost Scratches that Nostalgia ItchFor those of us who played the original Scorched Earth in 1991, Pocket Tanks Deluxe is a heart-felt and (mostly) faithful tribute to that classic, and there are some genuinely clever weapons and gadgets included. There are, however, some design decisions or technical limitations that prevent this game from taking the title of "Mother of All Games": namely, the restriction of only ever having one opponent available. Gone are the days of wild 10-player carnage, and impromptu alliances and betrayals and while it may have been difficult to implement additional players when Pocket Tanks was first developed, in the 20 years since, other more recent "Scorch-likes" have upped the player counts as technology improved. Even if multiple opponents were added to the Vs AI or Local Play modes only, this game would remain on my device for years to come.
