✓ Can only use when connected to home WiFiI for some reason have to have my husband arm our house if I leave my driveway before doing so. Before I leave I sit in the driveway to set it which can be somewhat taxing if I’m running late or my baby is not happy to be in the car and always settles once the vehicle is moving. There was a period where the app wasn’t following any of my arming commands via my Apple Watch nor my iPhone, but now both work as long as I’m in the driveway. My husband has set it wherever though. I think I emailed customer support. I also have tried logging out and back in and deleting the app and re downloading but nothing has worked. When I did try to find help about this issue via the app and the site I could not find any information on how to fix it. It would be outrageously convenient to be able to arm it with my watch, but I’ll settle for some guidance on whether it only works via WiFi, one’s home network, or if I need to adjust another setting or account. This app is extremely efficient, however, which is very comforting having a baby, and yesterday the battery was low and it promptly informed me via text message and my husband, it did send me a whopping 15 texts which I didn’t think was necessary especially because I was in the home the entire time, but nonetheless I’d rather it send that many than none. So thanks for your service, a couple tweeks, broader access to troubleshooting, and I’d easily give it a 5 star rating..Version: 4.10.2
✓ Smooth running appThe app runs smoothly and works great. Never had an issue setting or undoing my alarm from my phone. I do however, wish that there was a panic/emergency button or selection available from the app itself to deploy emergency services from my mobile device without having to interface from the panel. For instance if someone were to break in while I am upstairs and far from my panel, I could use the app to trigger the alarm and dispatch services without having to hassle with 911 operators/wait times by simply pulling up the app and hitting an emergency button for fire/ambulance/police..Version: 4.10.7
✓ Latest update for Apple Watch not working for meThe ability to turn my alarm system on or off is not working for me when my Apple Watch is on cellular only. OK on wifi. It tells me that the alarm system is not armed when it actually is. If I touch on that notification I get an error. **** 5 stars now. I needed to uninstall the Apple Watch app and re-install. Also needed to re-login to the iPhone app and it is working perfectly now..Version: 4.6.1
✓ Great app - easy to useI love the app and would rate it a 5+ if it would allow seeing every frame on camera SVR playback when scrolling. My prior security system allowed this (just like your phone camera does when you are scrolling through a video). If you are looking for something on the saved video, it is awesome to have the frame by frame option. With this app the screen is blank as you scroll. Yes, it has a high speed option up to x16, but that is literally useless when trying to locate something on the saved camera video and you have no clue what day or time it happened. For instance, coming home from being out of town for a week we noticed some sort of critter burrowed under the driveway. So far we have been unable to get a clear view to identify the critter when it comes and goes. If I could scroll frame by frame this would be easy to locate. Please consider adding this change. ✓ UnreliableI have had this system for over 4 years and have not gotten consistent service related to doorbell camera or app. Ever since this company has been taken over by ADT there has been constant problems. Tech not trained to service equipment. Equipment faulty. I have even went out and bought a stronger Wi-Fi service and still video streaming when I activate the live doorbell camera is not functioning properly!! I am so over this and I’m sooo ready to pull the whole system and go with another service... this needs to be corrected or I will be gone.Version: 4.16
✓ Works wellI see all the bad reviews and to me that seems like its user error or the customers equipment. My parents use this and I use it when they are away. Its easy and videos load fast. Can arm/disarm without any issues. No idea what people are complaining about. Theyre likely trying to run a full smart home plus the app on a 15mbps download and 3mbps upload speed from their isp. Please understand technology before using it and failing at it it and then blaming everything but yourselves..Version: 4.10.2
✓ Experience depends on InstallerGreat app and eco system when installed correctly. I have had a fantastic experience with this system and my installer OneAppHome. I was initially a little sceptical with some of the one star reviews but my installer informed me that a lot of the negative reviews seem to come from installation issues which alarm.com have little control over as they provide a platform not the installation service. It seems they were correct as it’s been trouble free since installation and does exactly what I need it to do. So don’t be put off just make sure your installer is up to the task..Version: 4.21.25

✓ Great App!I had been using Siri shortcuts a lot until this past week when I keep getting the error “there is a problem with the app”. I have rebooted the phone, tried setting up my scene shortcuts again in Siri but it is still not working. Is anyone else having this problem? I fixed it by logging out of the app, deleting the app. Shutting down the phone, restarting the phone, reinstalling the app and logging back in turning on Siri shortcuts and notifications. No idea why it broke, but there is the fix that worked for me!.Version: 4.10.2
✓ Love my cameras!!!We have them both inside and outside. They are easy to use. When we did have one of the outside cameras go bad after a rainstorm, it was replaced immediately at no charge. We did purchase wired for both; one less thing to worry about. On the inside, we have them in the main rooms(kitchen, TV room, family room and garage. My husband has some dementia and the cameras have been a God send when I need to run a quick errand. I can even talk to him over the camera should he misplace his cell phone. ✓ Great but needs these features...Great app, but i held a star back because a couple features are missing I feel should be there. The first is a panic button or being able to alert police, fire, or a medical emergency from the app itself. The other is being able to exclude sensors while arming my system. I can do either of these things from my alarm system panel, so I would expect to see them here. I kind of thought that’s where scenes would play a role for my second concern, but it doesn’t appear to work that way. ✓ Low battery AlertI am pleased with the overall system, but have a couple of concerns/questions. I continuously receive low battery alerts at least twice per day, whether there are batteries in the thermostat or not. I put in a new set of batteries in each thermostat, but still get the low battery alerts. It this an issue with the two thermostats, or each set of batteries are rapidly discharged when installed. The other question is in regards to the door bell. When it is pushed, it is oils be most convenient to have a hyperlink to take you directly to the app to see whose there, versus closing out the text message to open the app..Version: 4.17
✓ OH MY!The house main discharge line erupted into the house floors, sometime in the wee hours of the AM. I had to get up to answer a call of nature, when I encountered squish under my feet. Black discharge water was everywhere! All flooring: wood, laminate flooring in the dining and kitchen, as well as all carpeting, and tile and more laminate in the master bathroom; would have to be replaced. All dry walls from the floor to about 3-4 foot up would need to be redone. Then there was the entire kitchen cabinets that would have to be replaced as well. Hazmat was there today for safety measures. In a holding pattern for now. So far, a 5 star rating. The quality of work and cost will determine if the 5 star rating stays. In a holding pattern. ✓ Excellent appI really like the app. With the most recent update, I would like the ability to change the order of my live camera video on my screen. Right now it’s by alphabetical, which makes sense but I’d like to view my front yard first but it’s at the bottom of the screen now and I have to scroll. I’ve looked through the whole app to see about changing the order of them with no luck. It’s on your end. Please update so I can move them around as I see fit. Thanks!.Version: 5.2.5

✓ Adc skybellThe only problem with this is that I cannot tell it to record at certain times and days on motion event it is all or nothing which I use my front door a lot and learned the hard way I ran out of clips for the month. I am a tech for adt and I called support and they told me it was all or nothing on motion detection or to switch off when home which I didn’t care for so I just Turned it off but would love for this option to be available in future if it has changed please let me know thanks in advance other than that it is extremely user friendly app and very good for the person on the go.Version: 4.11.3

✓ Old videosI like this app but my problem is I delete videos that I have already reviewed and the next day the same videos appear over and over after being deleted again and again. The app also continues to bring videos from a year ago that was also deleted. I have set the app for only upload videos from the same day and it does not happen, I have the setting for the doorbell to not record motion and it still populates the system with movements from my front door plant. ✓ AlarmI absolutely love my App. I use to always set it before going out the door but there were times when I forgot something and had to go back in. Now we usually set it while we are leaving on one of our phones. The security is wonderful ! One time when my hubby hit the wrong numbers, they called me and I told them that it was a mistake and we were ok. The police called and I told them I was ok and within just a few minutes the police were here. They said that someone could be holding a gun to my head and making me say that I was ok.
