✓ Problem with due datesAnyone experiencing problem with setting due dates then the app only shows it a day later?? For example if I wanted due date to be 11th a Monday, I had to set it manually 10th Sunday for the note to show the due date I wanted!! This is soooo frustrating!! I finally found the glitch!!! Good layout and gives you the freedom to personalise your folders etc. It has been alost perfect to transfer my hand written notes onto my itouch so that I don't have to carry a notebook with me anymore. However, personally I would like to be able to make use of bullet points and numbered points. The other thing that I was hoping for on this app was individual tick boxes in things like the To Do lists and Shopping Lists so that things can be ticked off as they are done. Favorite features: Folder and note customisation, setting due dates, Being able to modify notes at any time to move it into a different group or set a due date, Backup to Google Apps. ✓ Truly AwesomeThis app is simply the best productivity app I’ve found for myself. I love that the calendar syncs with my phone’s calendar. I love being able to organize my notes into folders, and I love that I can passcode protect some folders. I use this app to keep track of budget items, my work schedule, my kids schedules, gift ideas and lists for birthdays and Christmas, groceries, daily routines, work tasks, even catalogued my MAC eyeshadows. The list is endless. I’ve been suckered into trying other planner apps in the past, sure they’re aesthetically pleasing but most of them are subscriptions AND aren’t nearly as functional as this app for me! ✓ TroublePretty rocky there for a while - and worse with each iPhone update - especially battery drain. On more than one occasion I spent hours looking for something to replace Awesome Note 2. I tried all the top planners, calendars, organizers etc. & much more. Nothing comes close to Awesome Note. I have used it for years now and was so relieved to see it update this week! THANKS!! ✓ I love thisI've looked all over for a simple yet elegant notebook program. This looks fantastic and really behaves well. My only concern is the lack of a password or encryption. Although I wouldnt write anything too sensitive in it, it doesnt mean that I want anyone reading what's written. I love the interface which is simple and intuitive with a number of combinations for papercolour and folder colour. I would love to see more folder colours but hey, this isnt bad at all. Highly recommended. Update : I really like the quick note features in the newest update, the developer is really starting to get there but for the love of little green apples, please, please give us a password feature! The ability to add photos and some basic search should be numbers 1,2 and 3 on your list of things to do next. Keep it up, I love the app. Update : Now definately a five star app. I like the way I can password each folder individually. ✓ Great App but can feel clutteredI stopped using this App for a while but kept updating, then last week I tried it a again and am REALLY pleased with the updates. Its now a highly versatile tool with a wealth of useful features. The only trouble is, its in danger of becoming so feature rich that the interface becomes (more) cluttered. So I have just one enhancement request: DEVELOPER - Please can we have a standard/business version option to supplement this 'pretty' version. The standard option means plain white data entry backgrounds (no wood effect or chalkboards in sight), text instead of graphics (I'm looking at you Filofax in the corner), greater password protection and more solid colours for tabs. I have a note that is over 65,000 characters long, and searching is critical for it. The only reason I gave Awesome Note a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars is when you do search for something, the highlighted term is off the top or the bottom of the screen instead of in the middle of the screen. ✓ Awesome Note - Lives up to its nameWhat a great app this is, truly awesome. It comes with folders already setup, however these are just really to give you an overview of what you can achieve with this app. I deleted the majority of the folders which came pre-installed, but kept the Shopping and To-Do folders, I'll always have shopping to get and things to do, so why not? I then created a Books folder, I then created Notes which had the names of authors and within each author titled note, put a list of their books that I've either read or got. I also created a private folder as well for storing more sensitive info which you can protect with a passcode. I even created a backup to Google docs. Only downside I noticed from doing this is that it didn't restore to the folder it came from, but sure this can be arranged by the devs? ✓ PerfectExactly what I was looking for, and a huge plus to me that it doesn’t need a subscription. The only thing I wish is the ability to save links. I love saving food recipes that I find and it would be great to be able to save them in one notebook, like a browser bookmark system. Right now I can just copy and paste the link. ✓ Still the best Diary AppThis really is a great app and I’ve been using it for at least 10 years. On the other hand I wonder how long it will continue to exist. This is the sort of record keeping app that we users come to depend on and we need long term security. The app disappeared from App Store last August for about a fortnight and then re-appeared without explanation (see the discussion amongst concerned users on Reddit). There has not been an update for two years and there never seems to be anything new on the developer’s website. ✓ Please incorporate Audible Alarms/NoticesGreat job!!! Love the app. I use it everyday. The only suggestion i would have (& implementing this would truely be AWESOME) Is this-I use it often because I tend to forget when I have a lot on my mind. An Audible Alarm alone or accompanied by an Image would be an Awesome addition for Reminders and TO-DO's. That way when a date approaches, an alarm (maybe with 2 or 3 settings for pre alarm notices) with a related images sounds and flashes on your iPhone. The app is great as it is but if I forget to open it I forget some of my list. Oh and the alarm should work regardless of wether the app Is opened, closed, another app is in use or on a call... ✓ Not bad, but could be improvedThis is a pretty good application and has now become my default notes/to do application. Firstly the application itself looks great, a bit busy, but overall I quite like the interface. It is failry easy to navigate around (once you get used to it)(. I like the ability to organise my notes into folders and to also add a passcode (if required). What I would like to see is for the To Do section to be ticked off (once complete). At present, if you add a shopping list, you can't tick off an item once you purchase it. It would be great if you could add a tickbox and the item deletes itself once you check the box. It would also be great if you could do some additional formatting in the note itself (ie. italics, bold etc). Whilst you can change the font, it changes the font for the whole note (not just part of the note) Syncing with Google could also be improved. Notemaster, Personal Informant, Omnifocus, ToDo, Geetask Pro, 2Do etc, but Im finally content that this is the best all-round personal organiser app available. I've been using it for 3 months now and it's totally indispensable. I really feel on top in control of my work for the first time in ages. I especially like the ability to turn a note into a todo item and then schedule it and set a reminder. The folder features are great for grouping all my notes and todos, but I also have the option to see the whole list in one place. Overall this is my favourite and most used app for my iPhone. One feature I would like to see added is the ability to insert a hyperlink in a note so that I can include a web address and be able to tap on it and open it in safari. Thanks guys. Sync between iPhone and iPad is very slow compared to a number of apps on my phone which sync instantaneously. Something about the folder system or the UI looks and feels outdated. ✓ A Great Interface for Evernote and Google DocsIts not often that an app becomes increasingly intuitive the more you used its advanced features. Awesome Note is an exception. Whilst its interface is a little too 'twee' for my tastes under the bonnet there lurks a fast, reliable and powerful engine. I purchased this app mainly in order to extend the functionality of my Evernote account. In this department it works well. Unfortunately note encryption does not translate from the desktop version of Evernote to the Awesome note app. However there is password protection in the app. I'd recommend this paid app over the free Evernote app any time. Google sync works extremely well and there are several neat touches like the ability to backup your whole AN database to Google Docs. Decided to do my first ever review on App Store since I really needed Awesome to add more fonts in the notes!!! Literally the best note taking, the best to do list, the best calendar view, the best diary, the best organised folders view, and so much more! I love the flexibility of the functions! Being a designer who's really picky on apps, Awesome just WOW me! Which is why I have been using it and have never stopped. It has become a part of my life already like Apple iPhone. Please continue to improve the app UX with more fonts selection and hoping to see customised background for the notes! The customisable background is fabulous! Oh just had to add this, the 'edit text' pop up button is not that user friendly, I find it quite annoying to always go into the box to bold the texts. If it is a floating bar, it will be more useful and easier, more Color Palette please, when selecting a Color on the palette I actually do not have any hint to confirm that the Text Color has been changed (please revise on that too!). ✓ Been using this for years!I literally have thousands of notes over the course of 10 years on this thing. I love the backup they have integrated with Evernote and the easy syncing it has when I switch from MacBook to iPhone and I can pickup where I left off on the go. The amount of colored note tabs, backgrounds, and in-app folder icons to choose from is awesome. Password protect some folders. Search and tag notes. Rate notes and organize with importance. Upload pictures to the notes and freehand quick notes. Have a separator for the notes tabs works excellent when organizing. I use it a lot with sermon notes as well. So if you’re a pastor, this will work great for your workflow. Well worth the money. ✓ Very good appI like this app. Nice presentation and very stable. It has not crash on me once yet. I used to use the note program that come with the iPhone because it load very fast. It would be excellent if this app can load as fast as the native note program because sometimes you need to write things down fast. In this situation I still use the native note app then copy the info across when I have more time later. Please keep the loading time in mind in future development ie don't add more features at the expense of loading time. ✓ Awesomest NotesThis is hands down, THE BEST NOTES app there is. I have tried many notes applications and none of them are as good as this. It works well, looks great and there are pretty regular updates always adding new features. I really only use this app to organise the copious amounts of thoughts I have into nicely organised folders, something ridiculously difficult to find in other apps, but the features offer a far greater range of functionality. The fact that you can turn a note into a to-do list, it has a calendar view and date view which allows you to create a diary and you can add photos creating a visual diary. And there's a whole lot more which is surprising considering the simplicity and ease of use of the interface. If you aren't sure, try out the free version, it took me less than a day to realise i needed to purchase the full version. I love the visual interface as the colour coding and template designs help you to remember where you have stored things. A lot of thought went into this interface and personally it's more effective than using Fantastical, Agenda, and Timepage put together. If you get in and really use it, think about how to integrate the features into work, home, and personal, you'll see every part is well thought out. The detail of customizations aren't obvious at first, which enables the app to be used in a simple way. Other apps are so intricate in the detail, it can get overwhelming. There are two recommendations I have. One is following the user guide in Help section. In particular, the way it's suggested when setting up folders and content within folders. It makes the learning curve so much easier. The second recommendation is to the developers. I can't believe I'm saying this but the app folders are dated already and need an updated look. ✓ Good, but more work needed on Todo sideI love this application and I have replaced it with another app that Syncs my evernote Todo's. I love every part of this application except for how it handles the Todos. Within the Todo, you can get the application to create a tickbox for the Todo so that you can tick it off when it is done. My issue is that I have several Sub-Todos within a single Toddo, and I can't mark these individual Todos as completed. Instead I have to try and remember which tasks I have done, and then mark the main Todo as completed once all sub-tasks have been completed. The only other alternative is to have several Todos and then mark them off that way, but it would make much more sense to be able to group them together under a single Todo and mark them off..RemediaVersion: 0

Every time I needed to remember something, to save a personal photo, or to write down an on-the-go diary entry, this app was right there, my ride or die. I didn’t realize how much I relied on this app until it was recently accidentally deleted. I switched from a shared family Apple account to my own account, and forgot to bring the app with me. However some features I would request that are simple not hard for the admins of the app. 1. We need an iCloud sync. 2. The categories overlap onto another page, this needs to be adequate for one not having to go to another side just to see the other memos. Unless they choose to do so. 3. The backgrounds should be altered because, a lot of people would like to use their own pictures or wallpapers. 4. The tags made should also have a way to get to your own contact list e.g. tag: John instead of typing his name all the way from the beginning. 5. Also, a priority bar, so people can put things that need to be done on priority. 6. Finally, one to be able to insert files e.g emails, audio, music and video. ✓ Navigation IssueThis is a great app, however, there’s an issue with the navigation on an iPhone 6 Plus. If the phone goes to sleep while a note is being displayed, the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen becomes unavailable when the app is re-accessed. ✓ Good appNice app that provides many functions to aid productivity. Being able to add photos and locations into notes is a nice added feature. I do have a few ideas for improvements though. First, being able to tag address book contacts in notes would be very useful. This could then be coupled with greater functionality with the 'Todo' section adding the ability to 'call' or 'email' or even 'visit' contacts and then being able to call, email or view a location straight from the app. This could be easily integrated by using an interactive tagging system whereby tags such as 'call', 'text','email' etc would correspond to their respective features. Locking folders with a passcode lock is a nice feature but it would be nice to have the ability to passcode lock individual folders and be able to open it without going into settings. This could then be used to be able to safely save passwords and be able to view these simply. I believe these and other incremental changes like being able to create sub folders would make this app 5 star. As I was adding something to the list I need from the hardware store before going back to adding to the grocery list., I thought what an extraordinary app and how did I get organised before I had it?? I don't delete the note as I can modify it for the next shopping trip. I have these in photo view then they look like postit notes on the fridge! Odd jobs I put in the todo list or if it's a "one day I will get around to that" I put it under Bits ...adding to it as I get ideas on tackling the project. I am an organizer fan.. ✓ Love this app! But...This is one of my main “go to” apps. I love the fact that I can make different folders, customize how they look, and keep track of all sorts of information. For instance, if I have an idea in June for a Christmas gift for Jennifer, I can put it into my “Jennifer” note in the gift ideas folder. Come Christmas, shopping lists are already done. Husband needs stitches and they want to know the last time he had a tetanus shot? Check the “Health” folder. Hear about a good book that you would like to read? Add it to the “Books to Buy“ list. My only complaint just popped up recently. On the home screen, there used to be a spot at the top of the page for the last four notes that were used. You could easily grab a note from there, rather than having to go to the folder, then search for the note or use the spotlight search. Now, the “Recents” space is still there, but there are no notes. There is only the word “bookmarks”. ✓ Great app, but....There's no doubt this is a great app with the best interface. But, if you have lots of notes in another app (like I did with Evernote), be prepared for a long & cumbersome process to get them across. It took me hours & hours to move 130 notes. The problem is, you first have to move them to Google Docs, which isn't as easy as Google makes out as Google Docs has trouble reading certain file types, despite indicating it can do it. Secondly, it is completely impossible to import multiple notes from Google Docs into Awesome Notes & you are left to do it ONE AT A TIME! Even then, you'll get errors. ✓ Pretty Good, Minor IssuesI've had this app almost since it came out. It's been my note app the whole time. It does its job and has worked, without deleting my notes, over loads and loads of updates. My two gripes are the following: In Awesome Note, whenever an auto-correction appears, there is no way to avoid using it. No matter how many times you re-type the word and press the little "x", it will always use the auto-correction option. Therefore, "main street" can only ever be "Main Street" in Awesome Notes. After so many updates, this is pretty poor. The app opens quickly enough, but there's a long gap between opening and when you are able to type. It sits there as if frozen. This is on my iPhone 5. Sure, I do have a lot of notes, but I'm merely trying to type on one, already opened, note.
