✓ Needs workIt’s fun, and the mechanics are good, except for the fact that if you can take one of the opponents checkers out, it’s the ONLY option you are allowed to do. It’s kinda stupid.Version: 5.6
✓ IrritatingThis game forces you to play if it sees an opening. Even if the opening will result in you getting a checker taken. It also doesn’t allow me to play twice if I have two openings to take the other players checker. It has to be the same checker for the game to allow it. Which is unfair considering in the real game it doesn’t have to be the same checker..Version: 5.6

✓ No free willFirst of all, I’ve tried nearly every combination for puzzle 3 and for the life of me can’t figure out how to beat it. Level 10 was easier. Secondly one of the features is so annoying when you are able to take the opponents checker but you don’t want to as you are setting up a trap but the game won’t allow you to do anything but take the opponents checker! Making it so hard to plan a couple of moves ahead making you play as the computer does which is just reacting to the computers moves..Version: 5.6
✓ CheckersI like this game but I dislike how sometimes you don't have a choice but to jump one of the pieces and I hate the hints they are very bad hints for example it says to go forward and I do but then the black or whit double jumps me but other than those to dislikes the games is great and I like how you can udo stuff it's really handy ok the ned.Version: 3.2
✓ Not good for learningI got the app so I could get good and beat people. I’m coming from chess apps, like lichess. In those, the puzzles are clearly there as training to get better. On here, it’s like they are challenges. I don’t see a button that gives you the answer when you can’t find it, and you have to unlock puzzles by beating previous ones. That makes it harder to use them as a learning resource. Also, I’m tired of doing the same endgames over and over at the end of the puzzles. It should end when it is clear that I figured out the puzzle, not when I waste time finishing the game up. Also, the hint feature is a joke. I wanted to use it to help me learn and get ideas. This doesn’t work when the hint button clearly doesn’t give me the best move. Overall, it just isn’t the learning tool I came for..Version: 5.6

✓ It’s okay..This game is great, but the reason it doesn’t deserve 5 or 4 stars is because it’s impossible to win. I put easy and I can’t win, its clearly not a good easy mode. It’s not fun when you can’t win, other than that this game is great. It also doesn’t get 4 stars because it only lets me be at the bottom,I can’t be on the top or go first. These are problems for the one player, so don’t think this is for 2 player. If you only gonna get this to play with friends and rarely use 1 player, I recommend but if your like me and are only gonna use 1 player most of the time, I would get a different app. Also the undo button doesn’t function..Version: 5.6
✓ AI could be improvedGenerally well made, however if you play with the difficulty turned right up (can't say for easy etc.) the AI will deliberately lose toward the end of the game if you have a piece advantage. It would be more fun to have the AI still attempt to maneuver into a stronger position rather than simply moving each piece into a position allowing you to take them freely. ✓ Good, But One Thing:Okay, so me and my little sister love checkers. This afternoon, me and my sister decided to play this game, Checkers. However, I noticed an unfortunate glitch. Err maybe it isn’t a glitch. But it still caused problems. Me and Ava played on the new Two Player feature and took turns passing my iPhone back and forth. In the near-end of the game, she accidentally clicked on the wrong spot on the board so I clicked the Undo button. Nothing changed. She was irritated because the only option I was provided with was to capture her piece and win. I don’t like the fact that it forces you to capture your opponent’s piece whenever you have the chance to, giving you no other option. Otherwise the game is okay..Version: 5.6

✓ Checkers!Great game, even though it's fast paced and adrenaline packed I have to say it's not as satisfying as playing with real people. It lacks that small slightly naughty pleasures, such as making small children cry. By letting them think they are about to win then crushing them with a few simple but devastating blows. If only the iPad could tremble a bit after a few good thrashings..Version: 3.2
✓ This is a good app, but...I really like this app. It is a good way to play checkers when you are by yourself. What I don't like about the app, is when the computer doesn't want to move, it will move one piece back and forth until you make a move that it likes(aka when it can jump one of your pieces). So you can download this app whenever you feel like being frustrated, but it is not a good app for learning to play, or improving your skills(obviously a real person won't move one piece back and forth continuously)..Version: 5.2

✓ Not that badWhen I got this app it started out pretty fun the it was hard to understand this game every time it’s my turn there’s yellow arrows. Can someone explain this please! Oh also I would recommend this to a 8 year old. Checkers is hard I’m a 9 year old and this is hard. ✓ :/Good app to give your mind an exercise, but the "force jump" setting stays on regardless of whether I turn it off or not. Therefore in any game I play, any jump I can take will be taken automatically without my say so, taking away personal strategy and resulting in more annoyance than anything. Not recommended, there are plenty of other checker apps that are way better than this one. Very disappointed..Version: 5.2

✓ A Good Strategy Game But Needs Some Improvements….The Bad= To Start off The Computer feels like it’s cheating so that’s why I’ve only played maybe two or three games against the Computer, and all three times I’ve lost. And so Obviously that makes The Computer Feel Not Only Impossible To Beat but also to Play Against and not fun at all, and on top of all that it also obviously makes it feel so unfair on top of it. And that is why now when I have the need to play which is not that often by the way I only play it in the 2 Player Mode. And visually it would be nice to have at least a few more Aesthetic Options to choose from just for fun, don’t get me wrong I’m happy with one the ones I got but it’s just not a lot of them feel all that Appealing Visually. And for some reason I just don’t have a lot of Desire to play the App very often, and when I do it just feels a little bit of a chore. And what I mean by that is there is no way that I’m able to play let’s just a 2 out of 3 games in one sitting I can’t I just can’t sadly just the thought of it just feels a little Over Whelming to me personally. And that’s on top of everything that I have said. And also I feel that the Options is Non Existent at all in the App, the only ‘Options’ you get aside from changing the Aesthetic of the Board and Its Pieces and rather if you want Exit the Current Game or not, is the Option to Turn the Sound On or Off and that is located in the Main Menu As just a Button and the only other option is rather if you want to Switch the Force Jump On or Off before you enter the Game itself. And unless I’m missing anything else that should do it for the Negatives. The Good= Sadly the only Positive things that I could say about it is, the first is I enjoyed the Idea of a Challenge or Puzzle Mode I think was cool. Even though I never got around to trying it out ad of yet. Again Feels Like Chore to just enter the App. Anyways on the Flip Side of that Aesthetic I was talking about I do admit the ones that don’t look Unimaginative do look on the Kind Of Cool Side. And that should do it for the Positives for now unless I’m missing anything else. Final Thoughts= I’m not trying to Deter anyone from Downloading this App as I feel it may not be a perfect Checkers App but it just needs some improvements as I have said socially in the 1 Player Computer Area..Version: 5.6

✓ Freezes upGood concept but needs work. While playing games an arrow will suddenly appear showing the move that was just made. Then the player cannot make a move or a jump. Even when using the hint feature, jumps cannot be made. The only way I know to fix the problem is to stop the game and start over. I will be deleting the game..Version: 5.6
✓ Inconsistent and boringPlaying the normal game is too easy against the computer, even on the hardest level. The computer makes the same moves every game, so it quickly becomes very boring. The puzzles, on the other hand, are incredibly difficult, I am stuck on level 3. The hints don't help, you follow them and still end up in a losing position. Very poor game when one part is so easy it's boring and the other part is too difficult with no helpful hints. Will be deleting this game and getting a new checkers app..Version: 5.2

✓ FrustratingThe games are way too impossible, in the levels they are so much of a coward that it’s inhuman, another thing about the levels is that I’m trying to trick them into moving closer to my kings, and the keep on doing the exact same two moves back and forth, back and forth, and so on. ✓ Good, but improvements neededI Mainly play against human opponents as it’s quicker and More convenient than setting up a board every time we want to play. However one of the annoyances with the two player mode is that if you move a piece by mistake there is no way of undoing this and you would have to play from that point. ✓ A little annoyingWell even though there are some unfortunate things this game is okay. But my complaint is that if you have a jump then it practically makes you jump your opponent . The reason this annoys me is because I could either move forward to the right or jump my opponent to the left but because I could jump him the game wouldn’t let me move forward without jumping him. And the reason I didn’t want to jump him was because I would just get jumped back. And that caused me to lose the game . The game will only let you jump over that piece and lose one of your pieces or undo. Therefore it doesn't let you make the right moves. I think it doesn't want you to win or something.
