✓ Solid, useable app. Not perfect .. yet.When the e-mail came out saying that Date Wheel was available for my iPhone, I jumped on it immediately. I had been using it on my Palm T|X and loved it. It's not one of those apps you're going to use every day, but when you do it is really handy. With the purchase of my iPhone, I have been accumulating apps to replace the ones I used on the Palm, so getting Date Wheel was a no-brainer. There are a couple of minor differences between the way the app works on the Palm, and on the iPhone. Delightfully, though ... when I addressed this to Creative Algorithms, I not only got an immediate and personal note back from Justine, but she addressed my concern specifically, recognizing that there might be room for change. What a concept! A company with humility, interested in making their app better. With only a couple of minor changes dealing with saving a date calculation, I'd give this app 5 stars in a heartbeat. As it is, I almost feel guilty giving them 4 stars..Version: 0
✓ Great AppThe ability to save calculations is very nice for keeping track of project deadlines and completion dates and to see at a glance how many weeks and days are left before the deadline. If it had time duration in "years" I would definitely give it 5 stars..Version: 1.5.2

✓ Simple as I need itNice Clean App. app sticks to the basic calcs and has a large display that is uncluttered and simple enough so a concentration-challenged person like me can use it during meetings. I rated 4 instead of 5 for two reasons 1. In the wheels the year is easy to change by mistake which I don’t find easy to notice. (This can have significant effects and go un-noticed when calculating out a certain number of weeks.) 2. It would be convenient if day of week were included in the date wheels (happily it is in the results). ✓ Great Tool for Supply Management ProfessionalsI am Supply Management professional working on several R & D projects and strategic initiatives concurrently. I became frustrated with the hassle of determining project end dates beyond the 12-month horizon on my wall calendar. I was tired of clicking clicking clicking in Outlook, counting weeks and months into the future. I also lost my planning wheel (There MUST be a thief about the office!). So, when an engineer mused that there must be an iPhone app for that, I jumped on it and found Data Wheel. I am very pleased. It is intuitive, simple to use, yet flexible enough for multiple applications. I can determine a due date when the lead time period is known. If I know the drop dead date of a project, I can determine how many weeks or days remain. Finally, and most importantly, I can instantly see how many days I have left to work until my next scheduled vacation. Now, that's a useful application!.Version: 0

✓ Pretty good appI use this app daily for work. My job requires me to calculate specific time points based on a starting date (3, 6, 28 mos out). I like that I can save each time point separately. What I would like to see is a way to use the same start date without having to put it into each of my saved time points. ✓ Great programThis program works well for what I do-ascertain the number of days between two dates to calculate benefits to be paid. Easy to use. It's worth five stars to me. One issue: for my calculations, it's a day short. Put in today's date, then one day, and the date will still be today's date. One day from today is tomorrow. ✓ Great APPWhen locking the Start Date, Duration, or the End Date, it should literally lock it so that you can't accidentally change the value. If you need to make a change, you could unlock it, make the change, and then lock it again. The one shortcoming of the product is that it does not present the time between dates in the format of years, months, weeks, and days. I contacted the company each time I upgraded equip, & they transferred the app from my original device (PalmOne PDA), to a Palm Treo 680, then a Treo 750, a Centro, an iPhone3, and an iPhone4...with NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE! ✓ Be carefulIf you depend on an app that clearly shows accurate due dates, be careful with this app by ensuring you have the "include end date" properly set in settings. Many people don't include the beginning date, but do include the end date. (e.g. 3 days from July 3 is July 6, right? Not if you don't have the end date set correctly in this program.) This program automatically includes the beginning date and let's you set whether to include the end date. Turning end date on in the above example gives you July 5.
