✓ Great appThis app is a real timesaver - yes iy nay need a tweak on reading some cards but mostly does a good job especially if you make sure you take a good photo - clearly lite and go close to the essential information I like the way when you update what it's read that the app shows you where it read it from the card. Tends to miss the + symbol on phone numbers - I don't mind adding it in, but look forward to that fix in next version.Version: 2.0

✓ Great app - works really wellI have used this with only one card failing at present and I think that was because I had it upside down. I have used coloured card, in niormal light. I am using a 3GsS iphone and it scans well and then saves as a card and I can import into address book. So far nearly 100% success. ✓ Cracking application - worthy of prices and starsDidn't have high expectations for this app but thought it was worth a punt - and boy am I glad I did. It's a diamond of an app (would've paid double the asking price and probably more). Scan's are quick and spot on for the majority the fields - I'd say 95%+ accuracy - and the UI is simple and easy to use. This will save me a ton of time given today's Top Trump business card frenzied world. Just make sure you're using a 3GS - I suspect the problems listed in these reviews are down to wrong hardware. ✓ Great App , Great SupportThis is one of the most useful iPhone apps that I have. It bombed badly with the upgrade to iOS 4, trashing all contacts on my iPhone. I lodged a report to support at Shape Services, and received a very polite and apologetic response the same day, saying they expected an update in less than two weeks. The update was made available in less than a week. It works. It's terrific, and I just scanned a bunch of cards - 100% accurate, synced to address book, an no glitches. Frankly, you don't expect this quality of support from a low cost phone app, and it speaks volumes for Shape Services, and the whole Apple iTunes ecosystem..Version: 0
✓ Worked First TimeThis app worked first time for me, and continues to work well (on a 3GS). It does struggle a little if the font on the card is fancy but that is rare and I am very impressed with the accuracy of transcription. Somehow it recognises what text should go in what field and is really fast. I scanned through a book of business cards in about half an hour and now they are all synced to outlook. Only have to edit or amend data captured about 20% of the time, and that's normally things like changing a "l" to and "i" etc. It does seem to struggle with UK address formats and tends to put the whole address on one line, but easy enough to cut and paste bits elsewhere. ✓ GENIUSThis application is incredible. I was a little bit sceptical when I read the manufacturer's blurb, but was tempted because of the amount of time I spend capturing data from business cards. I thought if this works, it'll save me hours. I installed it on my 3GS without a hitch and immediately used it to capture 5 business cards, all with different layouts. The app worked like a charm. There were a couple of recognition errors on telephone dialling codes, but these were quickly corrected in the view screen before saving the contacts in my address book. Highly recommended. The OCR gets a little confused by odd fonts or 'over graphic' designs on some business cards, but consistently captures most of the important information. ✓ Very good even in low light conditionsAfter testing a number of Business Card scanner apps, i was dubious about buying this one, however generally it is a great app. The issues i did find was that the app doesn't like cards that have coloured background such as a black back ground or some more of the stylist cards getting around at the moment. Normal business cards that are black on white work 100% of the time. Others with lots of images, or script style writing can be a little problematic, however they do work. All in all this is worth the money as it will save you the time and that is the $$$.Version: 0

✓ ExtraordinaryI've wanted something like this for years: I get loads of business cards, and, unless I enter them in my address book, I may as well not have had them. Now I have this, and, gradually, my pile of business cards is becoming a set of records on my iPhone and Mac. It's surprisingly intelligent, recognising white on black text, and making a good stab at logos, and also generally getting the numbers and the names in the right place. If you're not happy, you can review the card later or cut/copy/paste from the full text which is stored. You need good light for this app -- daylight is by far the best. Not many problems using it, whereas a desk lamp at night really is nowhere near as good. Strongly recommended, if you use your iPhone for business..Version: 0

✓ Actually quite good!I was very reluctant to spend $5.99 for an App with no reviews - but I was intersested enough to see if it would work. Quite impressive actually. Once you take the picture, it scans the card in about 5 seconds or so. I tested the App right away on three different cards and it got two of them almost 100% - the 3rd - not so good because of the font, I think. In any case, you need to review the scan once it's in just to make sure - but I would have no hesitation in recommending this App! ✓ Works very well, if you're cards are fineI used a 3gs. Clarity of photo capture seems vital and as 3gs has autofocus macro, my card photos were crisp. With dark text on White it was perfect, with White against light green it was still good. It seems that the better the contrast, the higher accuracy. I would rate this as extremely accurate and good value, with the caveat that cards with unusual fonts and/or strange spacing and layout will need much more editing after capture. If your tame designer knocks you out a tight stretched block of text on your card, it is going to struggle, but for rest it is exceedingly impressive..Version: 0

✓ Pretty goodMaybe it's because I deal with creative types, but most cards need a fair amount of work before they end up in Contacts. Extraneous text or text at right angles throws this app completely (though not surprisingly). The app has real problems with addresses and doesn't appear to have been localized for Australia as it doesn't know what to do with the state. The amount of correction you generally have to do means you could have just entered the data manually in the same time. It's good with numbers though and I suppose eliminates typos. But it's more fun with this app and you get to keep an image of the card (though you can't zoom or scroll without first exporting it to the Camera Roll). I really like the simulated leather look! Anyway, it's a keeper but some updates to address handling, removing duplicate fields on a merge and enhancements for viewing the saved card would probably see this garner a higher average rating..Version: 0

These minor faults are rsre and come from bizarrely designed cards and can hardly be blamed on the software and again easily touched up. ✓ Great App with hard to find featuresOne of the great features is the ability to see where the ODR is reading from. As an example, it reads the phone number and puts in what the OCR thinks it is. I scanned a couple of cards I really thought it would struggle with, having small font quite cramped. But it worked well. I only had to make a couple of corrections, and minor ones at that. ✓ Not working on iOS4I have used this app for some time and found it to be very good on a 3GS. Card information is 'scanned' pretty accurately. I upgraded to iOS4 and the application now crashes when trying to scan the card. I would recommend waiting for this problem to be resolved before purchasing..Version: 0

✓ Geat appIts not perfect, usually requiring a small correction to at least one of the contact fields in 70% of cases. Paying close attention to having even lighting across the business card with no glare helps accuracy a lot. It beats typing and Its more than good enough so that I now use it for any business cases I'm given. ✓ Better than you think possibleI have the 3Gs. In poor light it doesn't work (and it says so in the instructions!). But if you use it in good light and focus carefully the results are very accurate and this includes trying to read cards with a mix of Chinese and western characters. ✓ Much improved in Version 1.1Updated review: My original review had the subject line "Better than manual entry, but barely". Version 1.1 has made a number of improvements and the app works MUCH better than before. I had a stack of cards that failed badly in v1.0 failed and about 80% of those are now being recognized quite well. You still have to do a fair amount of touch-up but it is now substantially better than entering by hand. If they keep improving the app at this rate (and it still needs improvement) it will be really killer. As it is, I'm upping my rating to four stars and I recommend this to anyone who is willing to put up with the necessary manual tweaks. Even desktop business card readers need tweaks, they are not as convenient and they cost a LOT more..Version: 0
✓ Better Than ExpectedGreat ap- you need to take a good photo and ensure that the light isn't reflecting off the card but the scanning function is very accurate. I had to cut and paste surnames otherwise the entry goes into contacts as one name. The transfer of data to contacts is editable and, of course it then all synchs nicely with you mail client and all is right with the world.Version: 0
✓ Superb on iphone 4Works amazingly well and absolutely simple to use. I did a whole batch in 10 minutes. Person's name it got in the right field each time. Only occasional miss spellings if accents or odd letter wrong with small text. Seems to get telephone numbers and email address and web fields correctly 99.9% of time. Which is what you mainly want. Company names 90% in the right field. Sometimes concatenated with first line of address. Simple to fix. Address fields for town, street etc very hard to regularise as so different between countries (I had European, US and UK cards). But stored all information but frequently concatenated into one. I suspect the camera on the iphone 4 makes a bit difference but still it's fast to scan in and process. Just the job..Version: 1.5.2
✓ Good appThis is a what you see is what you get kinda app. It is fairly accurate but you get to edit out any issues so when it goes wrong which is not often you can correct. People giving negative feedback must want the earth for £2.99!! Worth a punt as use all the time now so much easier.....Version: 2.0.1
✓ EffectiveNot always perfect because cards can be so complicated, but I find it gets a lot of info correct. Good to see that it now interprets international phone numbers with (nn) in them correctly so you can dial the number without further editing. Keep up the improvements!.Version: 2.1
