✓ What happened?I used to love this app. Now it stutters like anything when recording, becomes non responsive, a bunch of instruments has disappeared that i used heavily to be replaced by synths that sound exactly the same, quantization doesn't work like it should, randomly spits out off beats, it constantly crashes while writing single instrument loops, what happened??? I'm going back to nanostudio i'm afraid you've lost me..Version: 2.0
✓ Not good anymore want my money back!It was good -not great- before but then, here comes the updates. Before when o wanted to exit the app all I had to do was just press the home button in my phone and that was it. Now, with the last update I tried to do the same and the app stayed on working in the background, returned to the app and looked for the “exit” button and NOTHING! Look and look and look for it…….nothing!! Now I only have two options, switch to another app or another thing while the app is in the background consuming my battery and my memory or I have to turn off my phone and turn it on again. ✓ This app needs work and it should have been done years agoNo ability to inject vibrato, sooooo important and what about tremelo? No Search capabilities. I have about 5000 song files and I cant locate what I am looking for by typing in a search word, have to scroll through the whole darn list of song projects. The program loses its settings. You select 1/8th quantitization and next you know it has switched to 1 quarter quantitization. You have to select your tracks using a finger press and hold. Why no have Selectable track option? ✓ Great app, but needs a better mixerMusic Studio is a great music production software package. I’ve been using it for a couple years and have been pleased with the results. But it needs an update, more specifically it needs an updated mixer with automation. So, do I continue to wait the the update that has been promised for over a year, or do I migrate all my work to Cubasis? The limitations of mixer, especially for a final mix, is the biggest issue for an otherwise great app..Version: 2.8
✓ HELLA NEEDS AN UPDATEIt was great while it worked... however it’s been difficult since it doesn’t work anymore. Everything is choppy and out of place like some sort of horrible abstract art and nothing works. This was my creative outlet for years, but it’s been MONTHS without an update fixing the problem. I understand these things don’t just fix up overnight, but it’s been a loooong time and I’m starting to lose hope. ✓ Fantastic, but no longer works with AirPods!!! Plz FixWith a wide selection of instruments, and what seems like an infinite amount of tools, this is easily one of my most used apps! It is fun to use, and it has almost LIMITLESS possibilities. Definitely deserves more recognition. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! It would be nice to see a redesign for a simpler iOS 7-9 look, as well as some more instruments! The only thing it lacks is some natural sounding electric guitar sounds! It seems as of June 2023, the “bluetooth/airplay” feature is no longer working with AirPods or other wireless headphones. Upon selecting it, there is only silence, no matter what settings I change. Turning it off causes the audio to come through, but at a very grainy low quality... I know this is a very old app, but I really hope this issue is resolved as I use it a lot still! :).Version: 2.11.1
✓ Crashes every time I try and save a sampleJust got this today. Instruments are nice. Editing notes in the piano roll is pretty ridiculous but maybe I haven’t figured it out yet that’s not my issue. The problem is every time I try and save a sample the app crashes and I’m not following the 50 step process described on the website to get a crash report. The app seems like it could be really great but not if it crashes all the time and not if I have to jump through hoops to report a problem or get help. I’m not trying to be one of those people that writes some review bashing everything about your app like I said I have high hopes for it just wish it wouldn’t crash every time I save a sample it’s pretty annoying.Version: 2.11.1
✓ Quite goodThis is quite a nice app and I'm kind of in the process of moving over to it from Cubasis. The inbuilt instruments sound fairly good and it's easy to get ideas down quickly. The interface is a little confusing and it's not always obvious how to do things. One major issue though is that it's not possible to edit pitch bend automation. You either need to re-record - which may not be possible if you're away from your midi controller, or you may not want to if the performance was good, but you just want to have a pitch bend event start a little earlier or end a little later..Version: 2.6.5

✓ Effects and keyboardThe virtual keyboard is now weird when typing in file names in the project menu. Also, no way to to multiple different effects. You can either affect non-FX tracks or FX-tracks, no inbetween. Thats not good enough for real musicians who want to get in there and apply a different effect on say each track or more than 2 anyway..Version: 0

✓ Virtual MIDI is a messJust upgraded and virtual MIDI is unusable. I was excited to see background audio in this release, but without reliable virtual/core MIDI it is useless. I'm trying to control it from Magellan, which works perfectly with other virtual MIDI apps like Sample Tank. C'mon guys, you have a great app which is being spoiled by a poor core MIDI implementation. Fix this and you'll get a 5 star rating..Version: 2.1
✓ The WORST.This is the worst app I have ever used. Which is ironic because it's the most expensive. Unlike GarageBand which is intuitive and super easy to figure out I have had this app for three years and I still can figure out how to move a track! Which pretty much means you have to get it right in one take. It is not intuitive at all. Sometimes it won't let me save the song I have been working on and other times it will. There is no rhyme or reason with this app. It may have extra special bells and whistles but it fails on the most basic things! I hate it! Every time I am forced to use it by my phone not giving me the option to open a track in GarageBand I am reminded afresh how much I hate Music Studio. That's what prompted me to write this review actually. I had the misfortune of having to open it again today. I'm not a stupid person so maybe there are some clever shortcuts no one told me about but I figure if I struggle this much with this app then chances are other people will be too. I picked up GarageBand right away and can make it do anything I need it to through common sense. Music Studio is just not user friendly AT ALL. I'm hoping I can put no stars for this review but I imagine I'll have to put one to continue. Even that would be too generous..Version: 2.4.1
✓ IPhone 11 pro max issue?!I spent money on the app and more money to get instruments and now i cant use it. It says its compatible until you open it up and all the buttons are in different places where I can’t use them and can only use the keyboard, that’s it. Unfortunately it is now unusable as it glitches regularly during audio recording and playback too, even with all other apps stopped. ✓ Broken App / Apathetic DeveloperThis WAS a great app for several years. The features were amazing for a mobile app and the interface was perfectly optimized for its compactness. ✓ Music Library not workingHello. My son loves using this app, and he doesn’t stop using it. He creates songs on it, he records stuff, etc.. Anyways, a few years ago, he noticed that when he tried to import music from the Music Library option in the Audio area, in the latest versions, it crashed. ✓ Don’t trade in your laptop just yetOf course it would be awesome to simply use my phone to create music so why not risk the $15 to see what these apps can do. It turns out that they don’t do much in my opinion and the sounds are essentially basic, closer to the old general midi sounds in outdated workstations. ✓ Great Virtual Library of Basic Instruments and SoundsI had the full version of this app already installed on my iPad 3 Although now a relic still did work flawlessly as I had it plugged in and connected up to my akai synth station especially designed for the iPad 3 which also worked flawlessly as well But after having refreshed as well as deleted a few apps that weren't being used to make my ageing iPad as effectively efficient as possible Upon reinstalling could only install the lite version and not the full version Having a pathetic notification telling me that my iPad were no longer compatible Even although there were already a download cloud icon saying that I were able too I'm getting sick of Apples greedy money grabbing tactile ways of software updates and new old hash remakes of what's already been around for generations in order to inevitably outdate there own pre existing iPhones ,iPads Mac,s or Mac books Next thing they'll be bringing back the all in ones same as when Samsung had the original contracts to manufacture such and labelling it as the best thing since Google or Tik Tok to all those whom literally wouldn't know any better and are still yet to learn.Version: 2.11.1

But now when I use it with my new iPhone XS, it barely works and you can’t go in and create your “master pieces”. At this point it is an over glorified piano app that says that advertises that you may create your own music, but you can’t. ✓ A date, an estimate, ANYTHINGThe app is amazing... when it works. As of iOS13, it does not. My main reason for writing this review is to get ANY sort of timeframe for when an update might come out. I believe I saw in another review that you do indeed have plans for "the future, but not the near future". PLEASE tell me what this means. If it means tomorrow, great! If it means in three months, great! If it means in two years, that's... not great, but the info would be appreciated! Any sort of time estimate would be great.
