Labor and Contraction Timer for Positive User Reviews

Great assistance for deliveryMy wife and I really appreciated this app. The timer app is nice and straight forward, allowing me to focus on her. You can delete erroneous contraction information. Also, one of the top reviews is not accurate. The app reports contractions from beginning to beginning. I also really liked the 20 minute and 60 minute averages. It allows you to see whether contractions are quickening and / or lengthening. Really useful!.Version: 1.3.0

Midwifes loved it!Used this app when I couldn't speak anymore with the pain. Just pressed my finger down when they came!!!! The bonus was it got me an epidural just in time! Excellent app!!.Version: 0

Did the job perfectly. For 15 hours! My wife's fav part: editable (if u miss one or forget to hit stop!) The right tool for the job..Version: 1.4.2

Works as advertisedI only used the timer and did not try any of the other settings. It worked great. The running average was nice and the interface is simple and easy to use. I won't be needing this again for a while. Lol. I liked a couple of suggestions I saw on here such as changing the start stop button color during a contraction making it easy to see at a glance if it started. The other one I like was the idea of making a one second button push to avoid accidentally starting and stopping. This app works great without these changes. I greatly appreciate the time and effort in making this available..Version: 1.3.0

AwesomeAwesome app. Took all the guess work out of timing duration and frequency. I was able to call the doctor and arrive at the hospital at the right time with the data from this app..Version: 0

Good app!Been over a year since I should have reviewed this lol but better late than never. Found this really helpful during the birth... Helped plot the progress of how well the Mrs was doing and let me know how long I had to eat sandwiches, snacks and food etc before the next contraction! Will use it for the next one. Graphs were good too but I do think the nurses were taking the p1ss when I showed them..Version: 1.4.6

Worked greatThis app worked great for my wife and I. It's so easy to use. I found it much easier than using a watch..Version: 0

Simply works!Used it 3 times (on false alarms, 2 weeks and 1 week before actual labor) it helped me avoid going to the hospital before it was time. When I finally went I got there with a 5 dialation. That was perfect! The only thing I'd change is the edit button which is somewhat hidden (took a long time to find) and maybe add an option to ignore mistakes ( like 2sec ones). Otherwise, thanks a lot!!.Version: 0

Worked great thank you!Simple, easy to use. Made it so easy to keep track of my wife's contractions and keep midwives updated! Only criticism is that it doesn't prevent iPhone sleeping and had to unlock phone to mark start or end of contraction. Would be perfect otherwise but there may be some way you can change iPhone settings to stop it sleeping as often. If so this is all you could need!.Version: 1.3.0

Worked greatWorked like a charm for keeping up with my contractions..Version: 1.5.3

Works great!I downloaded this application right before my wife began having contractions and it worked great. It kept accurate count of how long the contractions were, as well as how many she had. Easy to use..Version: 0

Awesome!Love this app, I'm a birth doula and it's a great tool for me! The only draw back is that it doesn't take it into account that you're taking a break from timing without erasing everything. Also the charts don't really offer a good picture of the moms progress, but you dont need that anyway, it's perfect for the basics! I use it at every birth!.Version: 1.4.1

Great!Worked great. Used it last night. Came in very handy. Thanks! My new daughter appreciates the help.Version: 1.3.0

Good basic contraction timerThis timer allows you to track the average length of each contraction as well as the interval between contractions over the past twenty minutes and, more importantly, the pat hour. According to our OB and our birthing class instructor this is exactly what we should be measuring to make the determination of when to come to the hospital. The only thing this lacks is more detailed history in case your contractions start reducing. But it will certainly indicate when you've reached 5-1-1 contractions.Version: 0

Super simpleIt's all you need. Using it right now!.Version: 1.3.0

Does what it says!Simple, easy, not complicated! Thats it!.Version: 1.3.0

Love this appDefinitely worth the purchase! I love the charts and all the extra features. Very nice to have on hand..Version: 1.4.6

Worked for me!Downloaded in a hurry while my wife was in labor. Did what it was supposed to do. Didnt need frills. Thanks!.Version: 0

GreatIntuitive, easy to use, does the job. I haven't used others for comparison but this had all I needed to track my contractions and know when it was time to head to hospital. Has option to go back and correct entries..Version: 1.5.3

Great appOne less thing to worry about in this stressful time! Top app thanks.Version: 1.3.1

GoodPretty good app, easy to use and pretty clean..Version: 1.3.0

Excellent app!Used it during the delivery of my baby just last week. It's a simple, uncomplicated program that tells you just what you need to know -- when each contraction starts, ends, begins again. It was very helpful while in the throws of labouring agony..Version: 0

Worked great! My contractions started at 2 minutes a part and the only reason I would know that was because of this app! Contractions seriously feel like they go on forever but in reality they only lasted between 30 seconds to a minute which I also would have never known if I hadn't purchased this app. If you seriously want to keep track of your contractions but this app. However the nurses at triage weren't at all interested in looking at it so if you are wanting something to show medical staff I wouldn't bother..Version: 1.4.6

Exactly what we were looking forWe tried several contraction timers, and this one was by far the best. Features we found here that were hard to find in other apps: 1) Timer measures from start of one contraction to the start of the next. 2) You can edit the length of contractions, not just delete 3) Undo stop 4) Email results 5) Helpful, insightful charts This app was incredibly useful and definitely worth the purchase..Version: 1.4.3.1

ExcellentJ'ai adoré l'app. Facile d'utilisation dans un moment où rien ne doit être compliqué! C'est vraiment très utile..Version: 0

Works great!Just used the app before the birth of our third daughter and it worked like a charm. I have a couple of suggestions. 1) Change the color of the Start/Stop button when a contraction is in progress. 2) Require that the button is pushed for 1 second before it registers the click. It's easy to clock it accidentally when you focus on the labor..Version: 0

Perfect!Used this last nite. Easy to use. Allowed me to concentrate on my wife instead of having to remember or write down times. Made laboring a little bit easier and less stressful..Version: 1.3.0

Easy and helpfulThis app was great, even as the contractions got unbearable it was simple to use and gave me an additional focal point to get through the contraction..Version: 1.4.2

NiceHas an intuitive interface..Version: 1.3.1

Great appWorks great. Very user friendly. Great ways to view data. Wife and love it..Version: 1.5.3

Very usefulBought this at 4 in the morning when I thought contractions were starting but was far too unawares to do time math. Excellent app thank you so much.Version: 1.3.0

Great app!Worth the 99 cents for the full app. I was able to log and see charted contraction frequency and intensity in a snap which made it easy to tell when things were ready to roll (3rd pregnancy so I knew the drill)..Version: 1.4.3.1

Top app.Nice and easy to use..Version: 0

Great app in time of emergencyThis app really saved my behind when I was not prepared for my second child. My wife started contracting and before her nxt contraction it was installed and running. Basic & simple with no frills, just EXACTLY what I needed. You can easily charge form this and it would be worth it..Version: 1.3.0

MsTotal life saver when I was in labour, so easy to use and allows my mid wife to know about the timings etc..Version: 0

Straightforward and goodDid the job for timing contractions for our 2nd. See no reason to pay for a "better" app, when in the middle of labor I can't see stopping to take notes -- having one simple button and everything on one screen is the way to go. Only feature I'd suggest is adding a simple stopwatch at the top in small font that shows the elapsed time since the start of the last contraction. Just to have a way to anticipate when the next one may be coming. Thanks for providing this simple app for free!.Version: 0

Worked for me!Downloaded this coincidentally the day I went into labor (early). Didn't know what labor felt like! Had pain, then timed the next one... And the next one... This timer worked great (but wish I could erase mistakes, like the double taps -1 second labor? I don't think so!) for when I realized I should call the doctor, and for questions she asked. Easy to use, and free..Version: 0

Works great! It's a free app, folks. But it gets 5 stars because it works great, is easy to use, and does exactly what it promises. We used it during labor, and it was extremely helpful in deciding when to head to the hospital!.Version: 0

Best app out thereI've downloaded a ton, I couldn't find one with everything I wanted until I got this app. Most important to me was the time elapsed since last contraction feature. I also like that the contractions are easily editable and the graphs are great. Probably the best app for contraction timing out there. The only thing that could improve is a snazzier UI ;).Version: 1.5.3

A Must Have!!!Loved this app!!! I was able to time my contractions in the middle of the night myself allowing my husband to sleep until I was sure it was time to go. Wonderful & free!!!.Version: 0

Very usefulReliable and intuitive. Very happy with the results.Version: 1.3.1

GreatI second the first reviewer - reliable and intuitive.Version: 1.3.1

Fantastic.Gave us great data and accuracy when timing contractions, which was critical during a high-stress process (first-time parents). The nurses loved it, and our doula also used it at certain stages. Possible improvements: deleting past contractions other than last (for fat-finger episodes), and a graph with best-fit line (for us statistics dorks). Really though, top-notch..Version: 1.3.1

FairMy wife has been having contractions all day and we have been using this app, it works just great. However, I accidently pushed start and you can't delete any entries, so it threw the numbers off. Please fix!!!.Version: 0

Worked perfectly!Used it last week during the labor of my daughter. Was way easier than writing down with pen and paper. My husband just pressed the button and then could get back to concentrating on me. The times I needed to record it, it didn't take too much brain power. Was helpful to be able to edit for times we messed something up. I even emailed my early contraction record to my husband at work to tell it was time for him to come home. App helped up decide when to leave for hospital, which was 45 mins away. All in all, I'm not sure of differences in paid vs free, but download paid version and support the developer! Believe me, this app will be invaluable when you are ready to use it!!.Version: 1.4.3.1

Worked great!Unlike one I had to pay for, this one worked in the background. Worked great!.Version: 0

Does not start or stop contractions.Great app. The only issue I have, is the buttons are misleading. I clicked "Start Contraction" and "Stop Contraction", and it did nothing to affect my wife's contractions..Version: 1.5.3

Great simple appHaving tried a few different of these timer apps I found this one most useful. Others had extra bells and whistles but this works in the background & provides useful averages which are what we really wanted to know. Plus it's free!.Version: 1.3.0

Handy!Gave me something to do in early labor, which is a big help. The graphs are a good morale booster, showing labor progressing. This app got us to the hospital on time. Contractions weren't strong, so if we had been going by how they felt, the baby would have been born in a cab. Was also handy to be able to send the triage nurses an easy record of how long I'd been in labor and the spacing of contractions. Finally, I liked being able to wave my phone screen at my husband instead of having to say that I was having a contraction, because I didn't want to talk through them..Version: 1.5.3

Awesome!That is all..Version: 0

Did exactly what I needed it forEasy to use and read I used it to figure out when to goto the hospital. It was so much easier then using a timer..Version: 1.3.0

Simple & effectiveMuch easier than a stopwatch. No learning curve. Doesn't seen to time from beginning to beginning, which is what our hospital wanted. Thanks!.Version: 1.3.0

Baby #2Our second baby is on her way and this app is 2 for 2 reliable.Version: 1.4.5
