Flash laughableThis isn't too bad an app and the zoom feature adds something missing from the iPhone camera even if it suffers from the usual loss of quality associated with digital zooms The "flash" feature isn't a flash at all as that would be impossible under the iPhones current design. All it does is artificially attempt to compensate for darker images in a similar way that most photo editing software on a pc does. ✓ Video not so goodUm I don't know if anyone else has this problem but when I take a video and save it and like to see what the video looks like, the colour or video doesn't add up like it doesn't show like a normal video would, it would just show as some ugly video with colours floating out of the colours in the video. ✓ Dont botherThe flash on this is ridiculous! You can only use the flash on photos you are about to take. You cant add it to photos already taken. It may brighten up a dull photo, but trying to use it in a dark environment where you actually need a flash is impossible. ✓ Landscape Issue with AirplayHad some issues connecting iPhone 4s and 6 sometimes. Remote display would not flip to landscape when both devices in landscape orientation. Even more of a problem, when using AirPlay to mirror the recording device at the same time to a large monitor (with screen mirroring), the image on the monitor was sideways. In short, no way to get a decent sized remote view of the camera. Hopefully the developers will fix this? Looks like a great app otherwise. ✓ Terrible appPurchased yesterday and regretted it within the hour. The iPhone app crashes repeatedly especially in video mode. The Apple Watch app is just a blank screen so u can tap to take photo…sometimes, will start recording but will never let u stop recording, the preview only happen 1 in every 10 photos and that’s if u’re lucky the app didn’t crash. If you actually take a look at the zoomed photo, the photgraphed objects are EXACTLY the same size as a normal photo, except it crops the image so you actually get LESS not MORE. You can test this yourself by taking a normal photo then a zoom photo and load both into a image editor, you will find the objects in both photos are EXACTLY the same size. The so called flash only increases brightness, and any photo editor will do a better job than this app. This app plays on the poor functionality of the built in camera, but offers no benefits..Version: 0

✓ Only Works a Short Time for Video ClipsI was super excited to utilize this app. It works for short clips. But if you need to capture longer video sessions you’ll need to look for a different solution. After a certain point the camera device (my iPhone in this case) stops recording and there is a pop up saying storage space is running short. This does not appear on the monitoring/remote device (my iPad in this case), instead it just says the connection was lost. The first time it happened I was only using 56% of my iPhone storage space, but I went through and cleaned things up and got it about 40% being used (and I have the largest storage capacity). Still had the problem. My iCloud storage was getting low so I upgraded that. I still can’t capture more than about 10-15 minutes I think. ✓ I want my $0.99 backThe Apple Watch app that comes with this doesn't work reliably enough to make it useful. That's the only thing I was interested in. The camera app that comes with the phone is very good to begin with. The watch app will operate the still camera remotely, and it gives you a smooth view of what the camera sees. The one thing it will not do is operate the video camera. I don't know why Apple left this feature out, but I was hoping to find an app that would give me that capability. This one looked like it might do the trick. It sort of does, but the live preview is very choppy and grainy when it works at all. The watch constantly loses communication with the phone, even when they're inches apart. This makes the app too annoying to use. Since the developers chose not to offer a free or trial version, I guess I'm out my 99 cents. Insetad I find that one of two things happens... in a bright-ish environment the 'flash' lightens up the bright areas and leave the dark areas dark (which you can do yourself by palying with the contrast on your iPhoto)... in a dark-ish environment the camera freaks out and ends up making the photo look like a drunk Andy Warhol painting. The shake to return to camera is nice and the features is DOES have are easy to get to and easy to use. In every photo I shoot you see me holding the trigger phone. The other issue I found is that if I use this app to take remote video, I have to keep the remote iPhone on the entire time the video is being recorded, if I close out the app on the remote, the other iPhone will stop recording. ✓ You've done well in AirSnap but that's it.It's great exp to tryout AirSnap and it's fun. You've made options minimum but usable at the same time which is also nice. However, you're obviously missing so many functions Camera+ can give. And no matter you published earlier or not, Camera+ looks a more official app when you both are confusing each other. Lumy is just another name for the exposure slider, same as on the iOS camera app. This does not take macros any better than the iOS camera app. Air snap works, but the resulting photo is always 816 X 612 pixels; useless for most purposes.
