✓ A great, simple app that does what it shouldI have recommended this app to my friends and they all love it. Does exactly what I want it to do. It's cool that you can change the color of the clock. Red light has the least effect on night vision so I usually choose red. I'd like to be able to see battery charge status. The devs work hard on fixes for this app. I kind of wish there were additional number styles or something that I could buy to help support them..Version: 1.13.1

Great to have a choice of colours for the clock AND listen to music as you drift off to sleep knowing that there is a timer to turn the music off. Only slight problem is if you exit the app, the music stops playing and it wipes it's memory of alarm settings. ✓ Wake up to yourself!I'm always hesitant about downloading an alarm app. I value my sleep too much to be woken up when I don't want it to, or worse - never wake me up. I took a chance on Alarm Clock Pro, and I have never regretted downloading it. I use it every night to wake me up for the gym, and it works flawlessly. The best feature about this is the fact you can wake up to any song, or every song on your iPhone. The options are limitless. One day I'll wake up to Rihanna, the next day, Lady Gaga, and this app does it so seamlessly you'd think Apple created it. To top it off, you can choose from a range of different colours. Set the default iphone/ipod alarm clock to go off a minute before this app with no sound. 2. Set auto-lock in system preference to 5 mins. 3. ✓ Honest Alarm Clock Pro Review4/5 stars rating. Not a 5/5 because (1) it has to stay open all night to awaken me to my music instead of inane 1970's alarm buzzes, whistles and other obnoxious sounds. And (2) it always defaults to max volume, which is way too loud for the proximity to my ears. Couldn't they let ME set the default volume? And (3) sometimes I get awakened to obnoxious tones, even though I set a musical playlist for the alarm. And (4) sometimes if I walk with the phone in my pocket, the app perceives a "shake" and goes into "snooze" mode, turning off the alarm for 10 minutes. How do I TURN OFF that "snooze" feature?!?!? ✓ My go to alarm clock!!Don't know why the others have a problem with this app because it's really an excellent alarm clock that not only lights up a dark room so you can just see enough not to trip on anything, but a really great down to earth working reliable alarm clock!! I always use it while on the road in hotels, friends homes, RVs etc. I like the added weather prompt. And the snooze works well too. It does what it's supposed to do and works all of the time. I have iOS 10.2 and it has never crashed on me. The only suggestion would be to have an interface to Siri to control the snooze and or stop. Thank you!.Version: 1.13.1
✓ Pro is exactly right!I have been using this as my go to alarm clock for well over a year and it never fails me! I have “MS” among a few other not so nice medical problems, so I now take naps as things have been going south for the past year. I take anywhere from 1 to 3 naps a day and get up with my beautiful wife in the morning to see her off to work, so it’s so very nice to be able to set a variety of alarms and switch back and forth without having to reset the times:). And since I’m a heavy sleeper “being on an aircraft carrier for much of my 21 years in service sleeping right under the wires” (Arresting Gear), I learned to sleep through a lot of noise, so I need to set 3-4 alarms for each time I need to wake up. ✓ Larger Weather & Tap for torch pleaseThis is just about perfect for me as a “nightstand” display. It does what it says well and feels slick. Having the weather handy is fab. DEVELOPERS please: the only things I would add/change are: 1) A larger display of the “always there” weather info (above the time display); 2) The option to tap to open torch (rather than shake) like the gadgets tap and 3) Show battery level and if charging. ✓ The right clock faceI can't rate the alarm-I use a different one. But I love the clock face. My favorite combination is red numbers on black, like a first-generation digital clock. The warm light is cozy and doesn't wake you up any further when you check the time in the night. I bought the Red Clock app first, but was amazed that I couldn't get red-on-black in it. ✓ Love it but has recently has glitchedI absolutely love this app, it was one of the first apps i ever bought and use it every day for uni. But the last couple of weeks it's been glitching in some way and not going off. I'm not quite sure why, sometimes it just doesn't go off and then changes the setting from playlist to just the standard alarm noise, which also doesn't come through my speakers. ✓ Buy this one...If you want the best useful alarm clock. I've purchased two other alarm clock programs, but this is the best aesthetically and functionally so far. It is the only one that warns you that the alarm function will only work with the program running - although this may not be a problem anymore with OS4 and a 3GS or above. Pity I've only got a 3G... ✓ ThanksHaven’t used this app in a while but it was the best alarm app I found. Previous review from 1 year ago. Works great on my iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 9 I wake up to a the birds which is one of the built in sounds although you can pick your own music. I set it to fade up 5 minutes so it starts out soft and gradually gets louder. I have used this app for years. I found that I had to buy the HD iPad version of his app for it to work on my iPad. Don't try to use the iPhone version on your iPad. It won't work. It does work great if you get the iPad version. Although I have not been using the iPad one for a while as I don't think they updated it and I haven't tested it. By the way make sure vibrate switch on left side of the iPhone is not turned on as that may prevent the alarm from going off. Also if you want the music to play leave the app open but you can hit the sleep wake button in the phone to turn off the screen so it's black and no light will show. That's what I do. I didn't know they had a shake to snooze. Great feature. I sometimes use this to wake up to birds and a running stream which is a track that I bought an iTunes and it's very relaxing. I like to use the fade-in so it wakes me up gently within five minutes with the advanced settings. Make sure you put it on the charger. Also double check that you set the time AM instead of p.m. This app is great..Version: 1.13.1

I was just in the process of buying a separate bedside clock when I thought that for a few bucks my phone plus an app could do that. I have found it to be easy to setup, provide pretty useful features (swipe down for dimming being my favorite), and, most importantly, the alarm sounds when I need it to. I'm not sure how much more an alarm clock needs but the simple display, easy to use features, and user-friendly setup make it one of the few apps I always move from phone to phone. I mean the main goal really is to wake you up but really it has helped me a lot more than I thought it would have. ✓ Almost perfect - Almost!I have used this app for years and have enjoyed all of the features. Now, to the “needs improvement” comment - the need for larger fonts. I was near-sighted all of my life, which let me see the weather and alarm times without my glasses. I have had cataract surgery with lens implants and now require reading glasses to use my iPhone. That’s a bit inconvenient when I roll over to check the time that I set my alarm for, or what the temperature as I am shutting off the alarm. Please don’t change any of the other features! I really appreciate the finger-slide on the screen to adjust the brightness, and the ability to create a “library” of alarm times with customized alert sounds. ✓ Needs an updateI’ve had this app since my first iPhone many years ago. An iPhone 3g. It’s worked great and is by far the longest running app on my phone just given how I depend on it. Used it in 6 countries and god knows how many states. Latest iOS update has broken the app and it no longer remains running in the background when locked. The alarms still work, but only alarm sounds. No music plays which kills me. I’m still giving it 4 stars because of the years of use and how the iOS update isn’t the apps fault. ✓ One thing missing!This is a nice alarm clock. Reliable and easy to set multiple alarms, name them, and assign them to different days. I recently spent a lot if time in a hotel and I set different times for weekday and weekend mornings. It was so convenient, we all relied on MY alarm. This app is missing the DATE. The weather and colors are nice, but I still have to go to a calendar to verify the date each morning. I suggested it but the developers were not interested. The latest update that happened over a month ago has a bug that doesn't make the alarm sound. I wrote them with no response and no updates on what I think is a critical issue for an alarm clock. ✓ At last....At last, an alarm that not only lets me wake up to music but lets me use a playlist, and plays that playlist in the order I set up. Lots of alarms let you wake up to music but it is just ONE song, and then it repeats. Pandora allows you to wake up to a station of your choice but not the songs of your choice. This one is great. (In the event of failure—which has not happened so far— I keep my native iPhone alarm set to about 15-20 minutes later than the playlist.) So far so good. 5 stars at this point..Version: 1.14.1
