Doesn’t for iPhone 12 mini screenI’ve only had the app for 24hrs, and it is a lot of fun loading your clothes in and creating some looks etc. BUT I have an iPhone 12 mini and it just doesn’t fit the screen properly! I struggle to see the choice of clothes in the slider across the bottom when I’m creating looks, and I cannot see Saturdays on the calendar at all! Please sort this issue so it sizes correctly for this screen and the functionality can be fully used!.Version: 8.2

I LOVE this app but...I love everything about this app and find it very easy to use except for three important Features. 1. Backing up the entire app is very difficult and time consuming. Although there is an app for the iPhone and the iPad updating the app with new details or outfits on one device it is very difficult and time consuming to move over from one device to the other. You need to move one folder at a time manually. Very time consuming. I gave up on keeping it on two devices and now have no backup. 2. The app only works in portrait mode. I work mainly on my iPad with a keyboard. Landscape mode is much easier to work with and most iPad covers and stands only support landscape. I asked the developer about this and the response was that there was no plan to allow for landscape format because most of the app’s users prefer it in portrait mode. 3. There is no app or online access that you can use from your laptop. So, I am only able to use this app on one device, iPad, and in inconvenient Portrait mode and I can’t easily back up or keep 2 devices up to date. I have moved on to another app that has all these 3 features. The new app isn’t as easy to use or as elegant as this app but the addition of these three features makes it much better for me. I’ll just have to get used to the different wardrobe process. I’ll keep checking in on this app in case in the future it includes these 3 important features. Until then I am very sorry to have had to move on..Version: 8.1.3

Alright appGood for sorting clothes and suck but unsure as to why I was randomly billed 10 bucks when I didn’t buy anything on this app..Version: 8.2

Allow multi selection of photos to add!I’m so disappointed that I had to purchase this app to even try it out. 5 seconds into adding items and I knew it wasn’t going to be worth it. Adding items is tedious and annoying. You have to add them each individually and remove the background manually. The background remover doesn’t work hardly at all and I had to spend so much time editing each photo. Then after doing this with several clothing items I realize that the outfit planner and “calendar” are so incredibly not user friendly and each item has to be added individually there as well. So adding the clothes takes forever and adding them into outfits takes forever. It’s just not an intuitive app and I’m disappointed. I am coming from a different closet app. Acloset that I absolutely loved and have been using for over 4 years. However they decided to swindle their users and initiate a subscription…if it was just a one time purchase of $5 like this app was I would’ve purchased it. But a subscription for something like this is just not worth it. Sadly I hoped this app would be similar but I ended up spending $5 for an app I will just be deleting…I would appreciate a refund..Version: 8.3

Needs landscape view still on ipad...Stylebook has so many great features but needs the programming to support landscape view on an ipad.Version: 8.1.3

Not worth itUse Pureple it’s soooo much better.Version: 8.2

Way too difficultUnfortunately, I don’t have a fluro green sheet to put my clothes on, which means I have to use other colours. It’s still so difficult. Brown pants on a pale green background? The pants go into the background and I can’t change it! Purple on green? It does the same. A white shirt on a plain blue blanket? Still won’t work! It only works sometimes. It’s incredibly frustrating to use this only to get the same grey result again and again. Please atleast add a feature where you can draw in some background because the automatic thing just. Does. Not. Work..Version: 8.1.3

Lots of potential, but improvements neededOverall I like this app. I’ve tried a few different wardrobe organisers, and eventually settled on this one. However, it’s got a few annoying flaws that need to be improved: - Like a lot of people have said, sync needs to be improved. Sending items back and forth between iPhone and iPad is very tedious. I’d be happy to pay for this as an in-app purchase. - The iPad version NEEDS to allow landscape use. I never use my iPad in portrait mode, and it’s very awkward to use especially with the larger iPad models. - The UI and user friendliness should be improved, it’s all a bit clunky and outdated looking. There really should be an option to set the thumbnail size, I find 4 items in a row too small and would prefer 2 or 3 (zooming in with 3D Touch is not the same).Version: 8.1.2

I WILL NEVER USE THIS APP AGAINI accidentally deleted this app (no idea how) and only realised when I spited a gap in my home screen icons. When I redownloaded it all of my items were gone. After frantically contacting support I was told that all items are stored on my device and that they were gone. How can an app like this have no log in feature or delete ALL data if the app is deleted? Accidents like this are easy to happen. Furthermore, customer service kept blaming me for deleting the app then had the nerve to say (verbatim) “you might have many new items of clothing and may want to start fresh anyway.” We’ve been in LOCKDOWN because of a global pandemic, of course I do not have many new items of clothing and regardless, I spent over a year carefully cheating my wardrobe. Sure, the app is good but I’ve lost over 500 items of clothing (I photographed everything from earrings to belts to clothes). I genuinely could cry and can’t believe such a data heavy app has such a huge design flaw. Absolutely gutted..Version: 8.1.3

Great in theory, not in practiceThis app seems like a great idea, in theory. I’m really into styling and 4ish years ago I downloaded this app the first time to try to use it. At the time my bedroom was a bit dark & dingy & I just couldn’t take photos that were bright enough. About a year & a half later (living in a much brighter apartment) I tried again but editing & cropping the images was too much like hard work & even though I had significantly downsized by wardrobe, I couldn’t be bothered. Then came the Covid-19 lockdown affording me nothing BUT time & little else to do at home. But guess what? This app is still just too much faff! It just took me well over 10mins to edit a photo of one dress & it didn’t even look good at the end. Thanks, but no thanks. I’ve followed the instructions to the letter but it’s clearly just not for me..Version: 8.1.3

Good once you get goingThis is very handy for keeping track of my wardrobe, letting me see what looks like it will go together, and of reminding me of what I already own when out shopping. I like planning outfits without having to pull out half the contents of the wardrobe (and then have to put it away again). I did find it very tedious to put all the photos on at the beginning - it took ages, that is the only real drawback and I can't see a way round that. Overall I like this because I'm an organised sort of person, not because I'm particularly stylish or into fashion. It's a great idea that could probably be applied to other things as well..Version: 7.0

BummerCould not get the clipper tool to work on any website that wasn’t already on their list. Tried with multiple sites, spank, lulu lemon, H&M, and other and not one worked..Version: 8.1.3

Good but some accessibility issuesGood app. Takes a bit of time to load & categorise items - for context I think I have a small wardrobe that consists of <70 items including clothes, shoes, accessories & my specs - but it has some useful features that I haven’t found on freebie wardrobe apps. I also like that there is no selling aspect & no content pushed to users. A big downside for me, however, was the discovery that at present the ‘looks’ function doesn’t work with certain iPhone accessibility features turned on. I have raised the mater & understand that it is being worked on, but disabled & other users who need to use accessibility functions should at least know about this issue ahead of purchase. Concurrent use of accessibility features and the app should be considered at the point of development, not dealt with later, as the latter approach does make it feel like an afterthought..Version: 8.2

ADHDI have never been so organized in the morning! I could never pre-plan outfits on my own. I love the ability to create custom categories and to add notes. I will say though, that to delete the sample category for a clean look, I tried deleting the category, tried deleting the clothing pieces, tried deleting the outfit the were all saved to, so much work when ppl are busy..Version: 8.2

Ok, but outdated syncing and missing featuresThis worked ok when I was rebuilding my wardrobe after a weight change and had more free time and only one device. Once I started needing to actively track outfits, plan for travel, etc, the flaws really showed. I though also using an iPad would save time by working on the larger screen and I’d just use my phone for reference when shopping. But syncing between devices is really clunky. It needs to be triggered intentionally and fussed with every time, and only single items or clothing categories can be synced. The wear calendar and packing lists can’t be synced between devices at all. As far as I can tell, syncing hasn’t been updated since 2015. Also, there’s no “archive” function for items that you remove from your wardrobe. You can make a separate folder, but all their stats still show up in history, cost, color, etc, which renders the stats useless for describing the current wardrobe, recognizing color and wear trends, etc..Version: 8.2

Great appI love it, I just wish the camera was a little better so I didn’t have to edit so many of the pictures. I love the switch up outfit functionality!.Version: 8.2

Room for improvementI was really liking this app but it's becoming more and more annoying to have to wifi transfer everything between devices, especially as I've set up custom categories which don't automatically transfer. This is pretty much the only app I have now that doesn't have a login and auto syncs on the cloud. It can't be that hard to do surely?? No more stars until this is sorted..Version: 6.1

Not easy to transfer most useful data😒I really liked this app - until I got a new phone and couldn’t transfer the most useful features (calendar and analytics). Years of tracking a waste - 581 days. Update- after I posted this I got an email with a cut and paste of the help page - which I had consulted before. I have pm’ed the developer..Version: 8.1.3

Great but rarely updatedI have used this app for years, but it crashes a lot...Version: 8.2

Change your UI!!I bloody hate the user interface on this app. i wish i can change the main menu setting and colour palette, as i never use the stylist app so having a button doesnt make sense to have it— if not, let users choose how the menu is organized, cause having calender or closet in the centre makes more sense than travel/ packing. furthermore, i hate this particular shade of purple. when adding new clothing items, it doesnt make ANY sense that multiple fibre types cannot be selected, or that stored brands cannot be searched. lastly, i also dont see the need for a top right “save” button for fibre when other titles (ie colour and season) uses a “detail” button on the top left. the shifting function buttons are plain infuriating, and reminds me of the original, disturbing, illogical tesla model s interface. i would give this app two stars, but honestly i dont use it for anything other than taking inventory of my closet and occasionally documenting what ive worn, and the UXUI issues makes me want to scream and throw my phone across the room every single time..Version: 8.2

OK but frustrating and you need a microscope!!Bought this ages and promptly ditched it. Come back to it years later and I can see why. Interface is frustrating and not fast or user-friendly. Compiling outfits takes far too many clicks and faffing back and forth. Why on earth would you force people to use multiple categories which only makes everything more clunky and slows down navigation and use?? And where is the zoom-in button on the wardrobe and outfit selector!?!? I can’t even see any of the looks I painstakingly compile, nor tell the difference between items of clothes. Why on earth is everything so tiny!?!??!??? Compare this to other wardrobe apps and, visually, they win hands down every single time. In other apps I can clearly see, select, and enjoy my clothes and outfits..Version: 8.3

Good but could be betterPhoto editing tool needs to be improved alot, gets very annoying. So unless you have Photoshop or similar program I'll wait until the improve photo editing. Can't even rotate pictures!.Version: 3.0

Great concept but......there’s a lot left to be desired by this app. The editing tools are fairly weak. Like, it’s useful that it will automatically get rid of anything that is a similar color to make it a little easier if you take the right kind of photo... but mostly I go by the images I find online as much as I can. At least it offers that option to import. But the rest of the editing tools are weak. You can’t crop after you have imported. You can’t color correct the photo. I mean just those two things alone would make a much bigger difference. Beyond that the stat system isn’t that useful... like you can input the type of fabric it is and see stats on what kind of fabric you mostly have in your wardrobe and etc, but you can’t have multiple fabrics.... so each combination is a new category which is really dumb. Most clothes are not 100% of something like cotton or acrylic... it will be cotton, acrylic, Elastane... and so on... so... that should be fixed. Also the color categories need to include pattern options like floral, stripes, graphic, and etc... lastly the app could use a makeover... I can tell this was made by a coder and not a graphic designer... it shows. But overall it’s still useful. It can still be fairly tedious to use though. It takes a lot of time to build up your database before you can use it and if you don’t online shop or don’t have access to online pics of your clothes it can be far more tedious..Version: 8.1.3

Really good but would be better ifGreat for organising your wardrobe by colours and getting outfit ideas. Great for insurance purposes on how much your clothes are worth and what you had if they get damages or destroyed but I really wish they would make it so you could see your outfits in larger pictures as my eyes not as good as they used to be and I struggle to see what they are when viewed items all together. Larger thumbnails would be much much better or at lest have option to have it if you don’t suffer with sight loss. I used to use this app everyday, not touched it again for over a year and came back to see if improvements had been made which I can see not much has changed 8-(.Version: 8.1.3

Love it!! Bit of a recommendationAbsolutely love Stylebook but just wish that items would stay logged on the calendar as they were even if you’ve deleted that item from your wardrobe or have updated the photo.Version: 8.0.3

It's a good ideaIt's a good idea! However practically, it's not so good. If your like me and have a lot of clothes, finding the right background, positioning the clothes and then taking the photo, editing the photo for every single item in your wardrobe is extremely time consuming and within the first 15 minutes of having the app I didn't get very far at all!! There are no faults to the app, the app itself is very good. But if your not willing to spend hours going through your wardrobe and editing the pictures, then maybe this app isn't for you or maybe not worth the £3.99. It's a good idea, it's just not very practical..Version: 7.0

Try copying snapchatSnapchat has an option where you can outline an element on your photo and it will create a sticker. If we could do this for editing photos, then we’d be able to better select clothing instead of the automated image capture that really doesn’t work.Version: 8.2

Not syncing between iPhone and iPad makes it incredibly difficult to use to full potentialThis app is good in a lot of ways. But I think they’re not listening to what customers are asking for - 1. Please, for the love of ALL things holy, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allow syncing between phone and iPad. Please. 2. iPad - allow landscape usage. The fact that it’s portrait means that my iPad is rendered practically useless. I have a keyboard for it that I have to fold up every time, just to use the app. And it’s the only app on my iPad that doesn’t utilise landscape mode. It would be much better to use my iPad for my packing, but without landscape mode the iPad is useless. 3. Merge all the tags the items have into a look rather than making me do it all over again 4. If you have to focus on ONE thing, please do the syncing. Once that’s done, it’ll be 5 stars from me. So much potential in this app, please make it even better to use..Version: 8.1

It’s good but needs updateI use this a lot, mainly to plan my packing lists. However the app hasn’t been updated in two years and hasn’t received a significant update in 4 years, so I’m not sure if it’s being developed any more which is a bit of a risk in terms of how time consuming it is to set up. It desperately needs a modern approach to cloud syncing so I can see the same database on my iPhone and iPad, without the dreadful error-prone wifi sync. This isn’t really acceptable now with most database apps having a good iCloud sync from device to device..Version: 8.2

Brilliant concept hard workLove the concept of this app as I am trying to get my head around what clothes I have and what goes together - or what I wore it with last year! Love that it's mobile so I can have it with me at the shops to minimise duplicate purchases. Downside - really tiring to set up. And doesn't have my favourite shops so it's all manual. As others said I google images as my own are a bit tragic but then you often get weird images if there are people in them. Overall great but could be even better..Version: 7.0

It’s annoying, frustrating and time consumingWhen I saw this app I was excited to try use it, and document all my clothes in it. Until I started using it. I’ve spent so long trying to put my clothes in this app, and using the different coloured backgrounds ect, but the background never full disappears and you spend ages trying to filter it. Eventually after you have finished filtering the item, you have your whole wardrobe to do, and it just gets frustrating when it doesn’t actually work like it should. It would’ve been ok if this app was free, but I’ve wasted $7 on it for it just to not work and take all my time away. It makes me kinda sad how this isn’t going to be worthwhile and rewarding in the long run like I thought it would be, considering the fact that I was so excited to try out this app. Hopefully in the future you can fix this for others to make their experience better..Version: 8.1.3

Huge potential let down by clunky image mgt interface for a paid appI have been so excited to setup and start playing with this app! What a great way to remember everything buried in my closets, document those magic outfits that somehow ‘just came together’ for wearing another time, and for discovering all new mix n match ideas. Sadly so let down by the image upload and share functions. I’ve got an iPhone 10XS which takes the most beautiful hi res & colour rich images - all of which is lost as soon as they’re uploaded into the app. So forget experimenting with subtle interplays of colour and texture... Then there’s sharing between my iPad and iPhone. Why isn’t this cloud synced - like shopping apps e.g. Zara or Yoox. Instead I have to recreate all the custom closet & looks categories manually before uploading one master category of items at a time! And then in future I have to remember what’s already been uploaded and what’s new, or I get duplicates. Frustratingly sloppy work on the functionality front, especially for a paid app!.Version: 8.1.3

Prepare for frustrationThis is one of the first times I’ve ever paid for an app. I am so disappointed. It seems so perfect but like other reviews said the snipping tool to upload your clothes is brutal to use. I have tried 6 different backgrounds and it will never automatically crop the background. There is a manual function but you have to erase the entire background - it would be much better if you could simply outline each item and delete the background that way. It would take me 5 years to upload my whole closet doing this. 😭 really wanted to love this app..Version: 8.1.3

Good up to a pointI find it useful to record what I wear each day, so I can see what I wear the most, and it has also encouraged me to wear things that are at the back of my wardrobe. However, it’s annoying that: On the calendar you can only see all that you have worn in a day in a snapshot if you set it up as an “outfit”. Otherwise you just see the first piece you entered - why?? I loaded on all of my clothes, some quite old and I know how much they originally cost and roughly how many times I have already worn them, but you can’t input that data. And finally, the outfit shuffle can be quite good, but sometimes it’s bizarre – I would’ve thought that there would be some recognition of the season assigned to a piece, but it mixes up winter and summer merrily, and will happily put something that’s orange and green with a pair of red trousers. More obvious matchings don’t appear..Version: 8.3

No automatic syncingI have been using Stylebook many years and have frequently asked for automatic syncing across devices. Today I accidentally deleted the app on my iPad and lost everything 🤬.Version: 8.2

Great in theoryTerrible for capturing pieces of clothing with phone. Tried many backgrounds, clothes hung up or laid out. Nothing worked well and it was too time consuming to continue my efforts..Version: 8.1.3

DELETED EVERYTHINGI had many photos that I cropped and blurred the background took SOME in a white background hours of work and One I opened the app to find out EVERYTHING IS DELETED i did not delete them I AM SO MAD I WANT TO DELETE THIS APP AND GRT MY MONEY BACK!!!!.Version: 8.1.3

DisappointingI spent ages importing photos, changed phones and they are all gone. It needs a background remover with grunt to make more user friendly. Need to be able to bulk import and tag items..Version: 8.2

Great app, but glitches are ruining it!I have my whole wardrobe on this app (hours of time invested) and use it a lot. However, it is not working well on my iPhone 13 mini. For example, the cropping tool will only show one side of an item, and you can’t scroll easily to tidy it up. White clothes are just not picked up well, the calendar has Saturdays inaccessible, the list goes on. Real shame, as many of the things I want to do are difficult or now not possible (which wasn’t an issue before I changed phone)..Version: 8.2

When even the samples in the app look awfulYou know you’ve just bought the worst app possible. The delete background function is completely useless. Other free apps do an amazing job. Not this one. You just stole my hard-earned cash..Version: 8.2

Still needs a lot of workThis app probably will be great... some day. Here are some of my issues with it: The cutout feature has gotten better but is still not perfect. One thing I'd like to see is edge smoothing; A lot of my clothing pieces have unattractive pixel-y edges. Syncing between devices has to be done manually and is a nightmare. I'd like to be able to sync all of my information, including times I've worn certain outfits, cost per wear, etc. automatically. There's a lot of information you can input for each article of clothing, but most of it is underutilized. I'd like to be able to see a break down of how much of my wardrobe comes from certain brands, what brands I wear most, how much of my wardrobe is made from certain materials, etc. I'd also like to see the ability to choose a color scheme when doing outfit shuffle, and a better way to view and change the status of items. Another great feature would be the ability to group together items with similar care instructions for quick reference when doing laundry. There are some things I love about this app, too. Style stats and outfit shuffle are really awesome and useful(and, honestly, fun) features that help you better utilize your whole closet, and make more informed decisions when buying new clothes, and it's an app with a lot potential for more cool features. Bottom line, though, I feel like this app is still pretty underdeveloped. However, I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes from here..Version: 7.0

Handy app, needs more UX workBeen loving this so far, great way to plan outfits. The interface is behind the times though, in many ways. Would love the ability to see all my ‘looks’ on one screen, and use filters to narrow down options. Setting custom tags for outfits would be helpful, instead of just writing a loose description, because you need to remember your exact description term to search by that term. In regards to the general user experience, you have to go through so many windows, rather than staying in the same windows and altering the view. Often you have to click ‘back’ rather than ‘done’ which makes you feel like your changes haven’t been saved, when really they have. Also as many have said, no cloud and device syncing. A lot of thought has gone into the app, but it’s just a bit clunky. Would love to see it improved, because it’s a super handy tool to have, it could be absolutely brilliant if the UX was better..Version: 8.2

Overall great but…This is a great app for getting organised and ensuring you make the most of your wardrobe. But… - There’s a feature to categorise your items and looks by season but I’m yet to figure out how I can filter by season (I’d like to filter by summer looks when planning outfits for the middle of summer). - Because this is a 1-off payment, it seems like there is no new development happening. I don’t get this as how will you keep attracting new people?.Version: 8.2

Complete rubbish - don’t waste your moneyI was very excited to try this app, and was incredibly disappointed. Firstly, you have to take photos of all your clothes and erase the background. Your clothes look awful and it is not easy to erase the background. You have to choose contrasting (bright colours) that contrast with ALL your clothes. For example I managed to photograph a yellow jumper on a red background, but not a blue pair of jeans on a white background or a pink jacket on a brown background! So I spent the first hour trying to find backgrounds that contrasted with my clothes! Then you take a photo which you have to mess around, re-size and then match up yourself with an item you have already taken. The app doesn’t match them up unless it’s on shuffle and you have to pick what to shuffle in the first place! It’s quicker to go to your wardrobe and hold them up. Complete waste of time and money..Version: 8.1.2

Waiting on improvements - for 4 monthsReally need 1) multi photo import. currently ADD one garment at a time... slow... boring.. 2) more than 1 image per garment eg back front or a zoom of texture 3) common-typical garment tags that you can then easily "VIEW your wardrobe by" basics are brand - size -- colour -- shade (eg colour is red and shade is tomato for tomato red) you can capture the info but need to quickly view by it :-) 4) this one drives me a bit nutty cause not there but in lots of other apps -- ability to easily change via 1 tap zoom on gallery from 5x5 3x3 or 8x14 so for me it would be 5 star if had these but non if these in 4 months requested submitted ages ago now have logged heaps of requests and you get standard response but no action. would be nice to see an update that included any of my requests :-)))).Version: 5.0
