✓ Removed featuresI’ve been subscribed to this service for a year and a half, and used it religiously, just to find out (a few months ago) that the main feature I used it for, criminal records, is no longer even part of the results.... why would that feature be removed, yet I’m still paying the same monthly amount for my subscription?? Definitely disappointing compared to the 5 star rating I would have given, had that feature not been removed.... All of the other info that generates on the person search, is stuff that is easily found by doing a simple web search on a person... criminal record is more difficult to track down, but very much public record, which made the reporting on BeenVerified extremely helpful, until now..Version: 8.32.6
✓ Criminal data was removed 👎🏼This app would probably be 5 stars but according to other reviews they’ve responded to, they removed criminal data from the app. I cannot fathom a logical reason for doing this. Criminal data and records is the primary reason I, along with many others, use BeenVerified for. For now, it gets 3 stars because it’s missing such a crucial section of information. If they bring that section back, this review will be amended. The layout is simple and easy to understand. I really enjoy using it if not for the missing criminal records..Version: 8.34.8
✓ UselessFor $30 this doesn’t provide anymore than what you could pull up on your own using google. In fact, it does less. I ran a check on myself and it didn’t even find social media and I have lots of social media. It’s completely useless since it doesn’t give you criminal history. ✓ Incomplete & InaccurateI tested the information provided by this service by looking up myself and others I know well and the information was inaccurate and incomplete at best. I found more accurate information in a Google search. Very unhappy I wasted money to subscribe to this service to test it. I completely understand why they don’t offer a free trial. ✓ They keep billing meI used this app for years. A year or so ago I noticed I didn’t get as much information as I used to. I stopped my subscription and they quit billing me. About three months ago I saw they had started billing me again. I called and cancelled again. They kept billing me. Last month I even deleted my account. They are still billing me. I will call them again today and expect better results. I SHOULD HAVE SUBSCRIBED THROUGH APPLE. I just got off the phone and he is refunding me 2 months. ✓ If I could give it zero 0 stars, I would.Do not pay for this application subscription if you plan to use a VPN. I quote technical support, “You can’t use this application if you have software installed to ‘mask’ your IP address.” This is the reason why there are so many people unhappy with this application. In addition, my VPN blocks the website for this application every single time. You want them to sell your information? Pay for this service, if not, find another way to search for people. ✓ Typically lousy service that’s hard to cancelIt’s amazing how much information provided by this app is completely erroneous. Real estate records, FAA database to name a few are outdated to the tune of years. Ironically, these data are readily available independently for free with about two clicks of the mouse. I used this service to view various friends and relatives to see how accurate this is and it’s the same for everyone, all people living in major metropolitan areas, and all missing tons of accurate info. Nothing but upsell opportunities on the site. Cancelling is predictably difficult to figure out. Will see if it actually canceled or continues to charge..Version: 8.39.91
✓ Rip offBeenverified are misleading costumers by making them think they’ll get access to everything they offer by subscribing. However, you only get access to information you can find for free through similar sites. If you want more in depth information you have to pay $20 per report. Not only that, a lot of the information on people is incorrect or missing. I checked several family members and they all had something that was missing or wrong. The reviews on here are probably fake too, I can’t imagine that Beenverified would be so highly rated if they accepted reviews from real consumers of their fraudulent product. ✓ Lots of inaccurate infoMore than half the time, the information is outdated/inaccurate when running phone numbers. When I tested it after while on my own number, which I’ve had for more than 3 years, the information was also incorrect and very outdated. Still had the previous person from more than 3 years ago as the owner of the number. Same went for lots of other phone numbers I’ve ran. Some great pros on this app - it obviously tells you if it’s not a “real” number you run and if the info is actually correct with background and other stuff, it’s a great tool..Version: 8.36.38

And then, I ask for it to be removed and you had the nerve to further pollute my identity and lie about data purge requests. This company needs to be investigated by the FTC. You are evil. ✓ What happened?I use to think of this as my go to app, but not anymore. I just went to purchase a month subscription and it was over $22. Just a couple of months ago it was around $14. The quality of reports had honestly diminished over the past couple of years and if anyone is willing to take the time, the information they offer is free online it just takes a lot of work. I liked this app for its convenience but there is no way in h_ll I would pay for that big of a price increase for something the exact information I can get elsewhere. I hate writing this review because I really did like this app at one time. ✓ Easy in, HARD to get out!One big huge button to sign up and hoops after hoops to jump through to stop it! They even try tricking you in the cancellation process. You have to hit “1” six times to confirm cancellation. And because they’re sneaky scam artists, they slip in a “don’t cancel” option and change the 7th response to “2” instead of “1”. ✓ Run awayOne of the advertised services is the ability to delete your own entry on BeenVerfied. I have been trying to do this for over a month. I get emails from someone named Von Esparagoza claiming that they are “looking into this” for a “solution for you” however the listing remains active. What’s more, they have added new information based on my billing address. Had I never signed up for this service, my privacy would be better protected. Don’t make the same mistake. ✓ Useful AppI wanted to test the accuracy of the app's information before I used it for real so I ran checks on myself and a couple of people whose history I already knew. The accuracy of the information surprised me. My complaints would be the lack of detail, particularly regarding dispositions, and what appear to be duplicate returns of the same charge, one with information and a duplicate showing a "no record". Overall a nice app ****UPDATE. I just tried to perform a new search and although the correct person did come up the app wouldn’t let me access any information unless I paid for a subscription. ✓ AssbackwardsHave found this to be a useful search tool despite the GIGO phenomenon. I found that the user rather than the search algorithm was largely responsible for successful searches; the program completely ignores some parameters and returns a list of 20-somethings when I specify an age of 80. Fuzzy is good but it also needs to be logical. The last "upgrade" was two steps back. The previous interface was MUCH better! This change served no apparent purpose..Version: 8.30.24
✓ Doesn’t work but still charged!I wrote this and received a reply that it might be apple billing me. Nope, AND they gave me an email to send my complaints to & if you read below? I’ve done that SEVERAL times and the emails went ignored and instead of tech support to help figure out why a search couldn’t be successfully completed (and being hung up on when I call or left on hold & not coming back), I eventually received an email deactivating my account. No one ever asked for that. So that’s the level of customer service you offer? So WHY would I use that email again, for the 50th time, and expect ANY difference today? Don’t you want to keep your paying customers??? This app hasn’t worked for months! I’ve tried calling, emailing, etc., and just get hung up on OR they shout an email back saying they deactivated our account, instead of technical support. ✓ Needs to provide criminal recordsI got this app so I could do a criminal background check on some people and it doesn’t provide criminal background records anymore. I am able to access the fact that they have criminal records on the website but because of my screen reader I can’t click the little box that you have to check before you can except and continue to go on and see criminal records. The screen reader does not recognize wherever that box is that I have to click and it’s not allowing me to click it. This is really frustrating and I’m bummed as I paid for a membership so I can see these criminal records and now I can’t see them I hope you update the app soon to include criminal records once again as supposedly the Apple ones did contain them! ✓ Don’t waste your timeI downloaded the app and paid for service. I was forced to link to their website instead of using a convenient app. That’s stupid. Off course it messed up because I used a long complicated password and I kept being forced to renter it since all my searches forced me onto the website. ✓ What happened to my BeenVerified Vehicle Search?I paid for 3 months of unlimited VIN searches which worked fine until it said get latest update which now always sends me to BeenVerified search which you can search people, phone numbers, emails and social media which seems to work great however I can no longer look up Vin numbers which is the reason why I purchased this application to begin with. ✓ Not what you think you’re gettingI paid the subscription fee believing I was going to have full unlimited access to everything, INSTEAD it listed me as a “free user” and only gave me access to the information I can find out for free elsewhere. ✓ INFORMATION INACCURATEI’d like to say that I feel as though I wasted my money reactivating my membership. First, the information on people searches is far from UP TO DATE. Next, much of the information noted is NOT ACCURATE. Finally, if you desire additional information on a person, you have to update your membership which costs additional money. I DON’T think so! I am not happy or satisfied with this program and only updated my membership in order to obtain information on two persons. The program did not have updated current information. ✓ App doesn’t work, useless customer supportThis app worked exactly once for me. After that, I kept getting the same error message (Network Error, got invalid data from the server) whenever I tried to search or call up a report. I did the usual user-end troubleshooting (sign out, uninstall and reinstall, etc.) then contacted customer tech support. It was an absolute joke. I exchanged 16 emails with them. Once they had ascertained that I had actually paid for the service, they had no further ideas or explanation as to why the app wouldn’t work. They wouldn’t even issue a refund..Version: 8.39.91
✓ Just use GoogleI subscribed to this app and found that it is pretty much useless. You can find all the information you want and more if you just take the time to do a little online search yourself. I also canceled my subscription a week or so after I signed up and have been charged monthly ever since then. I’ve called their customer service number and canceled my account that way but I’m still awaiting confirmation that they will actually do that or if they’ll just keep taking my money every month. ✓ Feel played almost scammedI purchased the subscription. I finally log onto my account make my first search. Click on the first report and the next thing that I see in my screen they ask me to purchase another membership. Saying I ran out of the 100 reports I never used. ✓ 5 yrs ago it was decentThis app is total garbage. The information is consistently mistaken in AT LEAST one section of every search. I have had an annual subscription to this service sine 2010, and cancelled this year. The basic info is accurate enough to keep you coming back, but if you cross reference it, the rest of the information is terribly wrong. I have thought about trying to get my money back, but I am so angry at the loss and embarrassment this app has cause me, I don't want to subject myself to arguing with them, or any further time loss. Imagine finding out that the information you had about your neighbor's 22-year-old daughter was totally inaccurate. She had not been convicted of any crime, and yet, you had refused to let her babysit when you had to work. Imagine realizing that, not just from ONE source, but SEVERAL. However if you subscribe for the 3-6 months the cancel so it doesn’t auto renew they will cancel all services and still take your subscription money without providing the service for the time you pay for. ✓ Liars and ThievesI paid for the monthly searches, get 100 reports a month. I forgot to cancel my bill and I was charged again. Like most subscriptions, it still goes on even after canceling until the next payment date. Not this app. I only made one search since the second payment and now I can’t make any. My second issue with this app is the inaccuracy. I looked up someone and the name and age is correct, but nothing else. Their contact info is for someone in a whole different state. The social media links either don’t exist or are for someone who is much older and has a completely different name. There are pictures sometimes, but rarely and again, it wasn’t the person I searched. Furthermore, you essentially cannot look up anyone under 24. I searched myself (22) and my girlfriend (20) and got NOTHING. For my self search I found my old email and one picture from 10 years ago, but nothing else. No social media links, no phone numbers. It only gets public information about a person that you can just google. Don’t waist your money on this garbage app, and don’t listen to the 5 star reviews..Version: 8.36.38
