✓ Ho ho ho!I purchased this app before reading any of the (mainly negative) reviews. I cannot disagree more with them. Maybe just luck but I've had no problems getting the app to work. With two young boys to try and 'keep in check' this app works perfectly as a gentle bribe! I now only have to hold my phone up and they both stop their misbehaving and apologise immediately! Worth every penny of the 59p as far as I'm concerned. Only very slight criticism is Santa's accent. Doesn't bother my boys but drives me mental!.Version: 0

✓ Unbelievable!We have a 3 year old and he's getting excited about Christmas. Like a normal three year old, he has his naughty moments. If we say we're calling Santa because he's being naughty, this child goes berserk and begs us not to call him. I've never seen anything like it. We just got the 4s recently and do FaceTime often with grandma and grandpa, so the video call to Santa looks natural to him. He's gotten to the point of asking Santa questions if he's been nice. But for seven-year-olds there's a rough transition between the videos when you press on the screen which loses the illusion a little bit so "parents turn the screen to you click the screen so your children don't see the rough transition." ✓ Pretty goodMy 3 year old loves this app but I docked one star for 2 reasons; 1) it repeats the same thing everytime which is obvious to both me and my daughters starting to catch on. Be nice if it had a few different scripts for naughty and nice to choose from. 2) you can see when it cuts before a "new scene" or whatever plays. My daughter asked what that was so it's noticeable. My 5 year olds been naughty going to bed every night this week so I bought the app and 'rang Santa' My son sat next to me while I told Santa about his behaviour. As far as the complaints, tapping the screen can be done discreetly enough so a younger child doesn't notice. The black screen after a tap is a little distracting but isn't a huge deal. ✓ AWESOME!!!!Don't let the "no sound" reviews deter you from getting this app! It does indeed have sound, one just has to make sure that their phone is NOT on silent or vibrate for it to work. This is an awesome way to encourage kindness and good behavior year round, not just around Christmas time! I had to use this when my daughter was "naughty" once and it was super hard to keep a straight face watching her expressions while Santa put her name on the watch list. Also, you do have to touch the screen after you have relayed the info to Santa to move on to the next part of the conversation. It's that easy and simple! I recommend this to all parents and grandparents!
