✓ Sudden App SlowdownBeen playing this for years and have loved it. Today it has slowed with big lag times on iPhone 13. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still horribly S L O W Will reinstall once you have updated and fixed. Bummed!!.Version: 1.15.4

✓ Played daily, now quitRecent update prevents letters from being played immediately. A letter is now choose, the player waits, then it appears in place. Unacceptable. Fix this and I’ll change my review to 5 stars, because it is a good game, easy on the nerves with no timer. I want this game back..Version: 1.15.4
✓ Stacked "Deck" of TilesIn Scrabble, you know that there are a certain number of tiles for each letter. But you never know with Moxie. As I'm making words, I get the same letters over and over again, while others are curiously absent. For example, I'll get an I, then an E, then another I, then two more Es in a row. What am I supposed to do with that? I got sick of this game very quickly, since the tiles seem to be stacked against me. It's no longer on my iPod. I'd rather play Scrabble, Bookworm, Jumbline, or some other word game..Version: 1.09

✓ Great game but...I was addicted to the daily challenge until a few days ago when it stopped updating - I kept getting the same challenge every day. ✓ DisappointedI loved Moxie free, and rarely do I ever buy apps, but I went for it with Moxie2 in hopes it would open up more game playing and new challenges. I was very disappointed to see that it was practically the same as the free version aside from a few extra letters and a couple Moxie word categories rather than one. Not enough different to warrant the $1.99 price tag vs one that is free. Also, like has been mentioned in other reviews, the letters, namely vowels, repeat annoyingly often and all in a row and other letters never even come up. Should have just stuck with the free version. I hope changes are made because there really isn't any real 2nd generation substance to Moxie 2. :(.Version: 1.09

✓ Not so sure about v2The original game and concept are simply brilliant but this version is just a tweak too far for me. Having a horizontal format makes it harder to hold than before and the graphics seem a little less polished. I do love having easy access to the Moxie Words and the daily game is interesting. Ok it's not expensive and still a great game but I'm sticking with the original classic for the ease of one handed play..Version: 0

✓ Run by looney liberalsAt the end of each game if you score is in the world's top 250 it is posted under high scores. The name that I list is Trump Train. As soon as this nickname is posted it is immediately removed. Totally unfair!! This is nothing profane about the nickname Trump Train. I happily support Donald Trump and want to reflect that. ✓ Very good, but not without flaws!It's a lot of fun, but I find the challenge words a bit confusing; the directions aren't full enough. I actually wish the directions on how to play were in written form. The video is clever, but if you just want to look up one small point, the video makes that a pain to do, if not impossible. I was/am a huge fan of the original Moxie, but I was really hoping for more of a change from this version..Version: 0

✓ Mr BaynesIn a word it's rubbish! Waste of money. Conned into paying the fee thinking was getting better than the free version! Its no better! A bit bigger mind but then there's not enough vowels when you need them. Honestly I've been playing Moxie and Moxie 2 for days now. And I mean days. I'm retired and sometimes have spent 6 to 8 hours with help of a dictionary and taking notes. But to no avail! The game is pointless! I'd like to think it want but was taken in And wasted 69 Euro or whatever! You try to get donkey, monkey, mouse, louse goose, and moose when F X Q Z and lots of I's are offered! ✓ Should be 5 starsThis game deserves 5 stars except for one annoying feature. Every so often a game will start with either continuous vowels or no vowels at all for an extended period. It makes it impossible to get a good score. As you're not playing against anyone else, there is no point in continuing. Apart from that, it's a simple concept but a very addictive game.
