✓ Great google voice control centerFor a while, I have been using this app primarily for the location-based settings so that when I leave home Google voice stops ringing my home phone number. I've just recently started using it again as my primary Google voice app. Notifications are working really well now, and you can use call back or direct call with no problem..Version: 3.5.15
✓ Great app - well worth the $GV Connect is the last great 3rd party Google Voice app. Use it by itself to initiate calls and texts. For that GV Connect works flawlessly. GV Connect also supports URL schemes, which allows 3rd party launchers to quickly launch into different parts of the app. The developer continues to maintain the application and is responsive to questions and problems. ✓ Great App - 1 Problem…I’ve had this app for MANY years. I appreciate the developer keeping it going. I have 2 different Google Voice numbers, so I use the native Google Voice app from Google for one account and this app for my 2nd GV account. I know I can use the native GV app with multiple account now (before you couldn’t) but I like having 2 separate apps. Also, this app has some great features the one from Google doesn’t have. The notes feature is GREAT!!! Only problem is, notifications don’t seem to work anymore. That might be due to Google or iOS. Hopefully the developer can figure it out. ✓ Best Google Voice App AvailableI've tried all the Google Voice apps in the App Store over the past few years and GV Connect is the best. It feels natural on the iPhone side and has integrated Google features which make it feel familiar on the Google side as well (for example the use of Google-type icons for incoming, outgoing, etc). It takes advantage of the larger screen size on an iPad and works great on iPhones. I also like how I can add new numbers to both the iPhone contacts and my Google contacts. The developer is very responsive and always personally responds to my emails. They even walked me through steps to aid them in solving my unique Google apps custom domain login issue. 5 Stars!.Version: 3.1.2

✓ Responsive developer!I use this app mostly with my iPhone. I thought it would be handy to use on my iPad but ran into an issue during login. I emailed the developer and received a fast, helpful response. The developer is committed to quickly squashing every bug. Hopefully one day Google will have a secure way for the dev to provide push notifications native in the app without the work arounds that are currently available. ✓ Essential App for Google Voice UsersI am a long time Google Voice user and a long-time user of this app. it now pretty much stands alone, as the other good Google voice apps all seem to have been abandoned. The depth of all the features within this app is really quite astonishing — and cannot be fully appreciated until using it and digging in hard. I think that most fully committed Google voice users will really appreciate this app. I am very grateful to the developer for continuously maintaining this app for many, many years, and also for being progressive in providing full support for the iPad. I have just purchased the two in app purchases as a show of my continued support. I would also encourage the developer consider offering a more robust push notification service that is triggered by user configured google voice email notifications that get sent to developer’s APN server. ✓ Good not perfectCan’t get it to display my contact names or photos. Would be 5 stars if they could fix that. ✓ Still using it after many years! Easier than GVGreat app I have been using for years through many changes of Google Voice’s app. I find GV Connect much easier and intuitive to use. Besides text messaging I often use the voice “call back” feature to connect to calls by calling back my land line (YES, I STILL have one) in my office at work so my outgoing calls don’t get tracked. ✓ Great program, works in canadaThis is a great program, I believe the issues you are all having is the result of it's not that easy to setup google voice in canada. the problem is not gv connect. go to the USA itunes store and see their reviews - its mostly 5 stars reviews. I use gv connect to call and text my son from Vancouver to Seattle - free.... this in the one review I have done - not normal for me to do reviews the developer is being given bad reviews because you don't understand how to setup google voice in canada his instructions are very clear - read them carefully and gv connect will work for you - I have free text and calling across north america through 3g or wifi.Version: 1.7

✓ Google Voice PerfectionGV-Connect is by far the only Google Voice related app I would use. Especially now with its sms picture share that they have added. I purchased this app approximately 4 to 5 years ago and I control 3 different google voice accounts and also use it to control my google voice number connected to my Obi-Talk home phone service. Please keep us users updated. Also, to all of the users of this app, if you are satisfied with this app, as much as I am, which I’m sure you are, please go to settings and give an occasional donation to the developers tip jar. GV-Connect charges a very low price for a very good service so I feel that it is worth much more than you pay for it. ✓ Generally good for google voiceAllows me to use different apps for different voice accounts and keep both open for viewing. One issue on the iPad-when I’m typing in the chat line, the line begins to shift up and eventually the letters are gone from the line. Makes it hard to use for texting more than a few words. ✓ Real-time Notifications and MMS issuesI use this app as an alternative cell number. I actively still use it as it functions as expected but there are drawbacks First, you have to change your google password just before you log into this app... weird but that’s how I was able to log in Second, notifications doesn’t work in real time - I know iPhone pretty well and all the settings are correct and the notifications (red button) only pops up after you open the app, which is kind of useless. Calls come through since the redirection settings are on google servers. I’m referring to missed calls, txt and MMS notifications - you have to open the App for it to pop up Third, When I use MMS, iPhone to this app, mp4 files come through as txt “video attachment tap to play” but no videos. I can play it on google voice app (official one) or google web page. This is a great app for me and love the security features and having mirrored all the functions and settings it the above three can be looked at to fix. If you are user who can live with the above bugs then go for it. I still rate it five stars since not all apps are perfect and I do use this well and hope fixes will come soon. BTW - I did buy the Video add on for this app and it still doesn’t work..Version: 3.3.2

✓ Better than ever!I’ve been a user for about ten years I believe and there has been no let up in development throughout that entire time. Nor, incredibly, has there been a change to a subscription model. This developer puts users first in a way that is very refreshing. I was compelled to write a review because I hadn’t been on his website in many years. Doing so tonight I discovered even more clever ways to optimize my phone calls. In particular how to manage multiple gvoice accounts from the app when I only have a single cell phone number, making it difficult to switch between gvoice accounts to, say, call in a pizza order without giving up my primary gvoice number. I’ve also become very sensitive to app data use disclosures and when comparing GV’s app disclosures in the App Store to goggle’s Voice app I thought to myself, “why would anyone use anything else?” Thank you for all you do GV team. GV Connect’s intuitive dialer (‘Direct’, ‘Call Back’, ‘iPhone Dialer’) allows me to use GV Connect as how I dial 100% of my phone numbers. ✓ This guy caresI have had this app for many years. It has had to change some good and bad with the google infrastructure constantly modified. For those that read customer service is poor this is bull. This developer who is not in America has always directly responded to any issue that has popped up and with google they do. He does not send some lame canned response and the same developer has owned this app since day one. Recently big issues with the app and there was a version change within 2 days.
