Route4Me Route Planner for Negative User Reviews

New version doesnt helpThis stuff of skipping places when you dont follow the order is annoying.please fix that. Route for me is mean to be support not our boss..Version: 12.1

SamAfter the recent update, the orange icon is just too big. You have to zoom right in to see them spread out Normally on old version the little blue dot mark is big enough to pin the location, but now the giant orange icon just blocks and makes the stops squeezed together Can you make an option for user to choose the icon style? Because this is just too big and make the map so messy.Version: 13.1

Be carefulDon’t make the mistake of signing up for a monthly subscription it is almost impossible to get out of especially if you are not in the states can’t just cancel have to make international calls at specific times.Version: 9.6

Search barHello I am a long time user & was loving the app until now. The new update where you can no longer search the addresses that you have scanned has made the app more time consuming especially when I use it for 60-70 stops a day & now having to scroll to look for each address instead of typing it in the search bar has honestly become a nightmare. Please return it..Version: 13.0

Be carefulI have used this app 4 or 5 times over the last couple yrs. I liked it BUT beware. I just learned how the “free” version works. You can only use as many “free” optimizations this month as you did in the last 30 days. I never used more than one in a 39 day period. Then I went 5 months without using ANY. That’s apparently a problem with this app cause now I am allowed exactly ZERO per month UNLESS I happen to decide to upgrade to the paid version. Has to be the most ridiculous thing ever! If you plan to use this app you best use it ten times every month even if you just use it to plan a trip to the end of your driveway so you can have optimizations available when you need them. Terrible.Version: 9.2

Adds in tolls and missing featuresI have tolls shut off completely and it still adds in the 407 toll in Canada. Makes it unusable eventhough I have the monthly membership because the route gets messed up. Also need to add in the camera feature that allows you to take a picture of the addresses and add them in. Please fix and add these things as soon as possible.Version: 11.7.2

Used for years, but the update to iOS 14.2 is awfulI’ve been using this app without issue for 2 years. It’s saved me so much time, but all of a sudden, I can’t change dates, or set start times without it getting to a blank screen, which forces me to close the app. Support wasn’t helpful, and they insist that I have to clear the cache, but there isn’t a way to do that in the settings as far as I know..Version: 11.6

Wasted an hour of my life! DO NOT INSTALL!I usually don’t write reviews, but when I do it’s to keep apps like this from wasting everyone’s time! After copy and pasting ca. 40 addresses into this $&@¥ing app for the last hour (which btw asks you to confirm each and every address), then when you finally want to go create a route, it asks you to subscribe to one of their plans! At $10/month! Are you joking me?! For a navigation app?! It’s not like Google Maps or Apple’s Maps is free or anything... I mean, I didn’t figure that an app that just gives you one little extra added feature of plotting multiple addresses on a map would dare to offer a subscription plan... Silly me... Is this what the 21st century has come to? Just ridiculous. I hope this app perishes horrendously!.Version: 11.4.1

Old version way betterOld version use to work way better . Some times updates don’t work ..Version: 8.5

Canceling Route4Me SubscriptionI’ve been using Route4Me for about 4 years. Finally, giving up and switching to RoadWarrior. Every “upgrade” has made Route4Me less usable for hot shot planning and scheduling. I suppose if a driver can plan a route at the beginning of the day and then simply drive the planned route, Route4Me is fine - if you can stand all the distracting pop-ups. However, if your route is dynamic - additional stops (both pickup and delivery) added during the day that need to be integrated with the unfinished jobs remaining in queue, Route4Me is little help. It seems Route4Me is catering exclusively to delivery route businesses and ignoring the courier business..Version: 9.2

Not that goodPoorly designed. Not as intuitive as it should be. When you arrive at the first stop there is nothing obvious that you need to do. You have to click to go back to the route screen and then click “Arrive.” Then you click navigate on your second stop. This is where it fails. Most of the time it does not actually give you turn by turn directions. I had to close the app and reopen it for it to give turn by turn directions. Then when I got to the second to last stop I could not select my last stop because it said I was done. Too many issues for an app designed to save time. Too glitchy for a paid app..Version: 12.2

Sad But TrueThis used to be the king of route planing. However they released a new version in the last couple of months or so and it truly is a load of crap. It’s super glitchy, loads slower than the old version & now crashes every day multiple times! Fact is the older version was loads smoother and wouldn’t hardly ever crash.. maybe 3-5 times a year max. There was nothing wrong with the old version from my perspective, if anything the menus and lay out were much better!! Seems like they well rushed the latest version imo and for that reason they get just 2 stars. Old version still gets 5 stars in my opinion. Such a shame because they had this market place dominated. When the update came out I paid for a full years subscription without hesitation, thinking that it’s going to be even better.. what a mug I was. You have been warned! If you route plan any more than 10 drops a day, you will get issues guaranteed..Version: 8.3

Would give more starsNice app before using this app I was using Another app for almost an year ,which got worse after one update any way this app can be improved by *Remove - double tapping every time for every single destination once reached to for Done. *Give options for Pop up next stops once Done selected no need to manually select every time. *Start and end destination can be selected from map ,not only by scrolling to select as it can be difficult if more than 100 entries are there. Please look after this and will continue my subscription . Cheers.Version: 12.1

Waste of time! You can’t remove destinations once you add them. Very Mickey Mouse app, why would they think anyone would pay for it if you can’t properly trial the app?.Version: 11.5

Quietly removed FREE routes!Disgraceful move from route for me to quietly remove the 10 free routes a month. I used to use this (once great app) for my meter reading but now every time I compile a route or say 20 streets, it says subscribe! Contacted customer service fobbed me off with nonsense about not using app for a while the routes won’t refresh. Disappointing, as I don’t need to subscribe but do need the odd route planning when I go into an area I’m not familiar with..Version: 11.7.1

Every update is getting worse. Don’t use it anymoreI have been using this app for 8 years and switched to paid version for 5 years. Every update is making it worse and i have switched to Road warrior even though they are more expensive but it is worth the switch. First, when you are on the list, it was showing a list number, then they replaced it with a question mark. Ok, i keep my mouth shut and keep using it. I adjusted myself to it. Second, after the latest update, the nav button it gone on list. It only show up after route optimized. It doesn’t make sense. I use it most of the time as a list to do my run. I know the area more detail then your app. Sometimes some road is better to go first instead of go next. I rearranged the list before i go. But the nav button is gone. It only show up after optimization. Third, it not letting me change the stop sequence. Same reason as above. I have more knowledge about the area than your app optimization. Also, the favorite list go empty after you switch phone. One more thing, when ever you change to a new phone, your favorite list go empty. Per a 4-5 years user. Stay away from this app. Nothing is right.Version: 13.6

‘Free’ version is useless, this is a paid appI have a handful of errands to run today, so I thought I’d download a free routing app just to keep track of all the places and add a little efficiency to the task. This app advertises itself as free, but I didn’t find out until putting in all my addresses that it won’t perform its most BASIC function (planning a route) unless I pay $10 for a subscription I fully do not need, since I rarely have this many errands to run. I could understand limiting the number of stops or the number of routes per month, that would be fine for making sure they get paid when someone needs this app as a core business tool. But don’t advertise your app as having a free user option when that option has ZERO functionality..Version: 11.5

Pretty goodThe directions are great and the route planning is great. The time estimates are usually not accurate and can be off by quite a bit..Version: 11.7.1

AvoidDoes not recalculate route, just keeps adding addresses to the route in the same order you add them. Clicking reoptimize does absolutely nothing, I used to have to switch between route types to force it to recalculate my route but this doesn’t even work now. AVOID yourself the frustration as the app will change route unexpectedly when it does decide to work L.Version: 13.0

Almost there...When inputting post/zip codes etc, for large quantities of multiple stops, the process is far too long-winded. For example; having to hit an ‘add new’ tab for each address is a pointlessly step. If this app is to be considered in any way ‘professional’, the method in which multiple locations are added, needs to be MASSIVELY speeded up. When finally, you have your route ‘optimised’, the algorithm though, is top notch. Route4Me is close to being great. Just a little way to go... : ).Version: 10.91

Nice app but very slow ...really too slow...@@I used this app for about 2 yrs. and it was free and good to use. Then they changed the UI and also the policy so that free version is not really able to use due to long waiting time for every action. So I decided pay for it.. well.. the app still response very slow .. no matter what for entering the address or deleting the address.. the customer care team of the company asking me to delete the whole app and also to upgrade the iOS to latest version... the app hang very often and still very slow for each actions...properly because they link every action to back end server and the bandwidth or the performance of the server are poor.. so that client has to wait a little bit... very Pitt! I like the app and still using it but you have to tolerate the slow response (wait 30-40 sec for each actions...) :( really too~~~~~~~Slow~~~).Version: 9.2

Subscription RequiredYou cannot use the app without a subscription. Just wanted a way to see quickest way to do errands. Not for personal use..Version: 11.5

ZI love this app but what happened to the search bar after you plan the route that’s how I used to number my parcles.Version: 13.0

Great tool but way too expensive and missing bitsGuys you’ve done a great job except you’re being greedy with your price - for a solo contract brochure delivery person (normally a kid) this is a $2.50 per month tool not $15, and you can’t print the map or steps for ready reference. Adjust the price please and add in a print function for the map and for the steps. I bought a month to test it, love it but will cancel as it’s just too much..Version: 9.6

Great concept, poor executionThe concept of this app is fantastic and would be a great service, if only the execution was better. Sadly, it’s poor at best. I see many outstanding reviews, so it may be the rural area that I live in, but with all of the satellite map data available that isn’t a good excuse. I was sent to the wrong driveway, sometimes even on the wrong side of the road, over half of the time. I double checked all of the addresses and every single one was correct, so that wasn’t the issue. While the wrong driveway may be an inconvenience in some areas, it’s a huge danger in the area which I was delivering. Pulling in at someone’s home unexpected in early morning hours in rural Tennessee is extremely unsafe, so this made what should have been a joyous morning of delivering Thanksgiving meal boxes an extremely stressful few hours..Version: 11.6.1

Not badPretty good handy app. Bit slow. Super annoying how your route line covers road names..Version: 2.6.4

It’s a love hate relationship! It’s a love hate relationship! It makes plowing snow a lot simpler! Very much worth the money for the full version. The updates they come up with generally make it more difficult and cumbersome, if I want to go out of order, I don’t need warnings and “skip” notifications, just let me mark off my stops without making me click all the extra buttons! Is Karen designing those warnings and skip features? Why would I want to “skip” all the stops before one I’m picking up out of order. Then I have to click unskip to bring those stops back. It’s super annoying. But, it has one feature the others don’t that keeps me paying for the app; it allows me to quickly add stops from my contacts. Maybe I should give them 3 stars, but I’m too pi$$ed at how, unnecessarily, cumbersome this app is..Version: 12.6.7

Much more Development RequiredDuring my free one-week trial, thought I try this out by optimising my route to my ferry with two intermediate stops, all of which in a line and located in Scotland, so hardly a difficult task. I had done the calculation manually, and come to the conclusion that it would take me just over two hours. I was therefore a little bit surprised when the App announced just under seven hours. On closer examination, it was planning to take me from Glasgow to Cairnryan via the ferry to Belfast, from there to Larne, and back into Scotland.....?!? The UI off the App is actually very nice and intuitive to use, but all of that is not going to be much use if this “navigation” app can’t navigate worth a dime......Version: 11.9.3

Beware!!!Good app but way to expensive $15 a month and they dont tell you until you’ve spent an hour or so inputting addresses. In app purchases need to be restricted or stopped to stop dishonest companies from robbing us blind!.Version: 9.1

Unexpected log-outs ; greedy price structureCouple irritants: The phone app disconnects and requires login information be re-entered .. for no apparent reason, several times each week. Then login info has to be entered by hand. It does it allow the iPhone to re-call your login info, nor does it give an option to login via Face ID. When you are on the road, having to type in login info is something that I like to avoid. Considering this app is designed for people on the road, you’d think this issues would be a priority to resolve. Also, as a note, the pricing structure for the use of the app is very greedy. I am a one man business. There is no low level pricing structure that seems fair for the little-bit that I use the app. The app is good and does what it advertises ... but for a little guy, it is expensive. Along that same line, I have not downloaded the desktop version because of cost. Again, the pricing is greedy..Version: 9.2

Lack of some basic featuresNo ETA which is a very important feature. Can’t go to a later stop first otherwise those stops before it will be forced to complete. Not as user friendly as Circuit. Cheaper but will waste your time during the run if you want to make any changes..Version: 12.2

DéçuBig mistake driving back and forth.Version: 11.0

GlitchyWe have used this app for a year and are approaching our renewal, unfortunately it’s not working properly now tried deleting and re installing but the same issue with addresses missing and gaps in favourite list A shame because this has been an amazing time saving app.Version: 13.0.2

Not great😏Happy with the way it works but disappointed with that it doesn’t let you replan routes more than one time. It says I have used all 10 free when I only planed 1 route and edited twice. Would have had 5* if I could have used it again the next day.Version: 9.6

A few things would make it betterI’ve been using the app for a couple of months now - here’s my take: 1. My #1 peeve is when loading a new destination the app seems to search worldwide for an address! I’m unlikely to make drops in Dayton Ohio - it would seem sensible for a route setting to have some geo boundaries to stop this happening. 2. Voice input for destination searching is ok, but prone to error - 2 high street often comes out as “to high street”. 3. Routing often has considerable anomalies, adding substantial mileage to routes - seeming to prefer major roads to shorter direct routes (confirmed by checking with Google maps). Extra mileage adds up to considerable cost. 4. It would be helpful to have a print function - sometimes you want to see a complete route, not possible on a mobile device 5. App does crash a bit too often 6. Would be helpful if you could load a route from a spreadsheet list of addresses Having said this, the app is helpful - I think a little more work is needed on use cases.Version: 10.85

Not usingExpensive and deletes routes without you knowing. Finding a different one..Version: 9.7

2021-Good 2023- AbysmalCould do with the numbers on top of the keyboard to start with but other than that very good app* *That was the review I typed up back in 2021 Now I’m back in Courier work I was eager to download this again and get back into the flow. I immediately paid for the upgrade without seeing the rest of the app as I thought it would be how I left it. Whatever you have done to this app is completely the wrong direction. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it! The route is completely all over the place going back on itself constantly. You no longer have the map carry on from the last stop to the next. You have to constantly be tapping the screen to go to the next destination which makes this app completely pointless as I might as well use the slow service the company provides. Really bad don’t understand why the makers have done this. I’m gutted with the service and will be enquiring for a refund..Version: 14.3.3

NO! NO! NO! NO!This Route4Me Route Planner App is NOT as convenient as you’d think Based on the rave reviews, I had high hopes for this App in helping me be efficient in getting my sometimes very long list of errands completed in a timely fashion, without backtracking the same streets I already traveled. Unfortunately this App is not to be trusted. Right off the bat, when I typed in my first destination to the Wells Fargo bank two minutes from me, I learned that this App is unreliable. The App suggested Wells Fargo bank locations that are WAY FAR from me, like a different city, and it even listed a few that are two States away from me!!! It completely fails to list the Wells Fargo branches that I KNOW are within walking distance. I just cannot make sense of this!! So I played around with the App thinking it must be a fluke, some kind of random glitch, but sadly it continues to happen, making the entire purpose of this App (to be an efficient commuter) completely useless. Not only is the above mentioned a huge disappointment, but there are additional flaws I’ve encountered using the App, such as not being user friendly when wanting to make changes to a route. The creators of this App make it WAY MORE DIFFICULT than it needs to be. It should be super simple, but it’s a pain instead. I truly don’t get all the fabulous reviews. I ended up deleted it..Version: 12.2

Not greatBeginning of the month I have 10 credits I start to plan my first route, and need to delete a single drop. It then asks me if I want to continue as it was pouring down I just clicked yes. Then again and again, we’ll after a few minutes and without actually optimising a single route I know have no credit. Know deleted and replaced with an app that works and re-credits the account daily not monthly.Version: 10.91

What’s the point?I have started using this app to deliver meals to those who are vulnerable and in need during COVID and it has been rubbish! U put all ur addresses in and it optimises those into a route but u dont get navigation so haveto then click wach address to send destination to ur navigation app (apple maps in my case). Once u have sent the address to ur navigation app it takes the postcode and disregards the house number at the address so then when u pull up outside u have to look through whatever paper llor digital list u had in the first place to find out what number to go to! Some streets we attend maybe have 15 houses on the same street and tryin to scramble through lists while driving is a nightmare! Totally pointless app if it doesnt include navigation.Version: 10.80

Bug fix still needed!Your app is good and works well but when i input a postcode it still doesnt drop a pin at the correct location but sometimes a several meters away. I reported this bug in detail with your support team but this still hasnt been fixed and it has been quite some considerable time now and this app didnt used to do it..Version: 10.2

A Great Time SaverThis app is very handy indeed. It takes a little bit of trial and error to figure out how to use it, but once you have that sorted, it's great. My biggest issue with it is: I'm in Australia & it gives addresses in USA & Canada first. Even if all the other addresses are in Australia, it doesn't seem to catch on that it needs to present addresses from Australia first. I have only used it twice so far so this review could change at a later date.Version: 7.5

ÉvaluationDes fois on arrive pas à trouver certaines adresses, de plus plusieurs fois les routes proposées nous font revenir sur nous pas. Je dois toujours vérifier sur la map pouvoir si clés le meilleur trajet disponible.Version: 2.6.1

FeedbackPaid user here. Can we do please get a simpler version of this app? Just simple addresses entry and sorting, and none of the syncing and other fancy features. Can the app to be update to use google engine? The other app Circuit on app store uses Google engine and it search for addresses and point-of-interests much much faster.Version: 9.0

No names only addresses…..what???I have use this app for over a year and have put in as many at 60 stops or more. When I would search for the name of the business, it would come up and I would add it to the route. When I navigated to that stop, it would give the name of the business. Since the update the names of the stops no longer show up only the addresses. This can become quite frustrating when you have so many stops and don’t know the name of the business you’re looking for only the address. this is unacceptable and if it is not resolved very soon, I will be looking for a new routing program..Version: 14.3.5

Another scam appLike most scam and greedy developers they have switch over to subscriptions, while giving us (those who paid for the app long ago) the middle finger. As long as unintelligent people keep paying for subscriptions, specially high priced subscriptions developers will keep taking advantage of everyone. If I got all the money back from scram developers whom I’ve bought apps and later switched to subscriptions and gave us the middle finger later, I could easily have a few thousands of dollars in my pocket. Now imagine the number of people scams apps like this one have scammed out of people. I am sure this review will disappear, no problem, I’ll copy it and save it so that I can repost it again..Version: 14.3.3

Add canada routes aswellCan you make this app work in canada.?.Version: 10.85

MehSo far okay, however in 5 minutes of playing with the app, adding destinations and re routing to get a feel for it I have somehow used 3 of my 10 routes for the month. That’s pretty weak... pretty sure this will be deleted by the end of the day..Version: 10.85

Not showing the mapI was so depressed today when start on my work app didn’t show me the the actual map directions it stucks on the route map overview and didn’t take me to the address my whole day was sucked. I have subscribed today again but I think I have wasted my money as my boss was not happy from my performance..Version: 11.7.2

What the hell happened?!App worked totally fine up until I recently updated app. Keeps crashing and won’t even load!!! I thought updates were to improve performance not ruin it! I’m subscribed and used this app for my delivery work. Sort this out quickly or else I will have no other choice but to go elsewhere.Version: 9.5

“Free” is beyond misleadingI’m a driver for a VERY small business, we do maybe 3-5 route per month, so this APPEARED like a great solution for us...but it’s all a lie! It worked great the first route, went to opomize my second route a week later and miraculously all 9 of my routes had been used and I was told I had to pay 9.99/month to keep using the app! I even looked at had 8/9 routes available before I started today! Tried the “live chat” and sat there for five minutes after the greeting and no response! Deleted the app and went back to doing it manually with google! Small business beware, they just want your money! If it wasn’t a subscription, I could justify $9.99 app cost, but not reoccurring!.Version: 10.62

Way too much going on, not intuitiveA. There’s way too much going on on the screen. B. The app didn’t recognize that I had stopped at my stopovers, even though it directed me to them. There should be a way to check off a stop so it moves on, if it can’t recognize this. I had to delete each stop after I got there and tell it AGAIN to start from where I was. Once heading on the route, the app did pretty well. It was the starting again, each time after reaching a destination which was problematic. C. The voice would often tell you to turn without naming a street. She should name the street each time she tells you to turn. The app quickly found the addresses. That was good. D. There’s a button for plan, replan, reroute, start, restart. All way too confusing. E. But the worst thing was an ad for some morning service popped up twice and beeped loudly WHILE I WAS DRIVING. It was alarming and dangerous. Please remove THAT..Version: 11.5

Terrible updateGreat app which I use daily. But don’t fix something that isn’t broken. The UI changes are terrible... NOW can’t see times of notes, cannot search easily for previous stops, the map overview is permanently there but much smaller than it was on a separate tab and practically useless..Version: 13.4

Wrong directionSome addresses shows complete wrong direction. If you’re doing many stops and you’re in rush, you’ll make a good search for your address..Version: 11.1

Needs workAfter making a route and sending it to someone, they will get 3-5 emails with the link. Then when they open it they receive another email with the same link. Also when they open it, it doesn’t work most of the time. It will either say that something went wrong with Waze, or it will shut down the app and I have to reopen it or find it within my opened apps. Really frustrating. There is more issues that I’m not even going to waste my time going into. Hope they can get their act together before I cancel this and find something else..Version: 12.7.1

SPAM, horrible experience. Don't botherContinually received the same emails after requesting they stopped. All I got out of this app was annoying emails from 'Mahdi' and considering the lack of action toward my requests I'm guessing it was simply a bot..Version: 7.5

Updated interface without notificationThey updated the app interface without notifying users. We have 30-40 minutes in the mornings to plan our routes in Las Vegas, NV. Wasted almost that much time to figure out the update on the interface. All of us drivers that have been using this app are actively looking at other apps. We cannot add any new stops to our “favorites” and we can’t transfer any stops from our “favorites” to the “address book”. I’ve spent several months to a year building up the stops I have on my routes in my “favorites”… now I have to completely rebuild those same stops in the “address book”! We’re not happy anymore and now we don’t recommend to new drivers, that come into our company, to use this app. There are more issues with this new “interface update”… but I’m not wasting anymore of my time to go into details. Bottom line: Find another app that’s works well and doesn’t have a company behind it that just changes it without “field testing it” with actual drivers..Version: 13.8

ScamIt says that it works for free, but the free option was not available to me..Version: 11.5

ReviewPlease make the app smarter i’m in Australia and it thinks I’m in the US i’m paying $13 a month for something to think I’m in Em in America when I’m thousands and thousands of kilometres away.Version: 12.6.8

App changed at the worst timeHave been using this for a year or more to do multi drop route one day a week. Was working okay until last week when the app was updated and a lot of the features changed, revised or removed. Very frustrating that I am unable to import the list of favourites addresses that I had built up over the last year into the new address book, and that I can not add addresses from the favourites list onto a route plan. Since the update, and in particular today I have had numerous occasions of addresses disappearing from the route and addresses that I have deleted from the route reappearing on it when re-optimising it. One positive change is the ability to add addresses using the camera to scan them and it seems to delete addresses from the route more quickly than it used to..Version: 13.4

Didn’t work for meGot this as it said I could do a few trips without subscription. First trip I had to subscribe (7 day trial before monthly fee) so I decided to try it as I had already input all addresses by this stage. When I went to leave I would click start and it says it started. Click on an address to navigate and it says I must start trip first. Do I click start. Tried multiple times then gave up and unsubscribed and removed app.Version: 12.1

Fatal flawWorks ok, but has a fatal flaw; about 1 time in 20, the address will be slightly off (for example I input 7675, but when I click on the link to the gps, it changes it to 7670). This has caused me to deliver to the adress’ neighbor twice now, ensuing in many headaches. Not sure the subscription I paid for is worth it anymore....Version: 11.5

Customer service letdownsGreat product for people in the transport industry and easy to use. However this service is built for the US market in particular and the care factor for Australian etc market is zero. For instance I contacted support to help with an issue that saw my driver runs change in to US time when emailing my route to my employer/contractor. Was met by a rude, sarcastic and arrogant customer service response. When responding to that email in the same manner that was sent to me, I received NO response at all! Have canceled my subscription now because of it and as far as apps go google maps can offer the same service to the Australian transport industry for free without the arrogance! Three stars out of five because this app is good and easy to use however lost two stars because of the customer service and then the arrogant response! Only wish I could post a screen shot of the response to enlighten other users not in the US!.Version: 8.3

RouteIt sometimes takes a roundabout route to get to a site and adds time to the overall schedule. It sometimes makes up an addresses..Version: 8.5

Rural?!?!Not all address and routes are planned and driven in urban areas. I’m a bus driver in rural areas looking for an app to help with navigating routes. If you can’t be on satellite and/or save gps coordinates, it’s unusable. Too bad. Is rural bus drivers need a route map app if we’re not on a full time route!.Version: 13.9

Free features strippedHave been a free user for a few years. I use this app once or twice a year to plan routes whilst on holidays. Not worth paying a monthly fee. Trying to plan for a trip in a months time and now find the app has changed and the planned trips expire in 7 days and can’t be restored unless on a subscription. Such a shame. I used to give this app quite a bit of exposure to friends/colleagues..Version: 9.6

Needs workThe upside is it has more features than some. The downside is the very basics, like routing, are extremely inefficient compared to, say, circuit or road warrior. There’s also load times where there really shouldn’t be in 2022 on a modern flagship (ip12) Unfortunately if you want a true route optimization app, this isn’t for you. If you like the wall map, do your own route method, well, you can do that for free, so I have trouble finding a good enough reason to justify over $100/y.Version: 12.6.8

Won’t find street names on its own in app map!Great app besides the fact that it won’t recognize street names on its own in app map, I waste a ton of time trying to input different street names to get it to recognize the location, I actually have to open google maps and get the longitude a latitude and copy and past, very frustrating when I bought this app to save time. Please fix this issue. Also if I try to pin a location on the in app map it wants to move the pin to the nearest address, the problem with that is not everyone using this app is looking for an address, I’m looking for job sites and cross streets, the only reason for pining a location is due to I’m looking for a specific location. Please update and correct these issues..Version: 10.61

Nothing but trouble since the update! Was a brilliant app I used everyday to plan my daily route for work, was fast and efficient. However since the update the app has become clunky, slow, inaccurate, crashes often and generally has become unusable for me. I'm really disappointed and hope this will be fixed as I'm having to find another way to plan my daily route..Version: 8.1

10 Routes/Month? Yeah Right.I don't plan routes for big things. I'm not a trucker/serviceperson who needs their routes optimized on the daily/weekly. I *do* occasionally have the need to make several stops in a day, and use an optimizer to make sure I'm not wasting fuel nor time. I downloaded this for that purpose. 9.99/mo is ridiculous for someone who may not even use this monthly. But I still figured that 10 routes/mo should really cover my needs. I used the app once 6 weeks ago. (Note that is longer than 4 weeks/1 month) I tried to use the app today, where the app refused to delete the previous route. The loading icon would spin and do nothing. So I started a new route. Entered my POI and hit optimize. It did as asked. Realized I missed a POI so I added it to the route and reorganized (as the route was set with end-lock). Hit optimize. "You've run out of optimizations for the month! Pay us!" I really want to like this app. The GUI and options for route planning are nice. But the free version is buggy and crippled by this issue. And the price is unjustifiable for my extremely minor use. + 1 star for GUI + 1 star for Routing Options - 1 star for Expensive Price Points - 2 star for Bugs - 1 star for lack of POI support (named locations (aka "McDonalds" or "Six Flags" are hit or miss, usually miss).Version: 9.0

Update rubbishI used to be able to use the map now it’s tiny and when I click on a stop instead of just showing me what I’d written for the stop it just skips down the list ! I had all my favourites(daily stops) saved which saved loads of time that’s just been deleted? I’ve used your app for 2 years plz plz put it back I don’t want to change to another app.Version: 13.4

Real Estate sales representativeThe app keeps changing every day. Now it appears difficult to put in starting address..Version: 14.3.2

Found some bugs, not working right for meI tried to work with them, but the back & forth with customer support was “pull my hair out” frustrating. They would send me multi-point questions & diagnostics, none of which related to my issues ... & after 3 weeks of exhaustive detailed notes & screen shots, they simply said, “thanks, we will have our techs look at that.” ... & that was the end. They took my money & my detective work, and left me with an app that still didn’t work correctly. I’m not happy with these guys. So I tried inRoute tonight ... it’s 60% cheaper and has many features that Route for me does not. In conclusion, app didn’t work correctly syncing between iPad & iPhone, customer support was not helpful, & there are better apps for cheaper subscriptions available..Version: 7.5

Worst app I have ever tried for anythingThis app is a disaster. We have a small business and deliver to customers once a week. I spent ages putting in all the addresses on Wednesday night ready for Thursday morning and when the app gave me a route, I contacted them all to give approximate times. Without warning or explanation, the route completely changed the next morning and I had to spend time contacting them all again. Once I got to London, things really fell apart. The app gave me times of 15 - 20 mins between drops which in reality took anything from 45 mins to an hour and a half. The whole round trip of apparently 7 hours forecast on Weds eve ended up taking 17 hours. When I tried to change things on the day as delays meant certain people would no longer be at home, it was impossible, I had to start whole new routes - not ideal in the middle of a delivery run. Use this at your peril..Version: 11.1

Routes deletedUsed this app for years on seasonal basis.. this spring I’m set to start my lawn care spring season. I get into my account. I see my routes from the season that have past.. I click to open them! All BLANK!! Route4Me unable to recover my routes! Also advised system glitches once you have more then 100 addresses on a route. Beyond disappointed!!.Version: 14.0

Ok, not the best! You get what you paid forHave some Issue with entering addresses manually. The app gave me a similar address but in a different country (US instead of Canada) and some addresses send me to the wrong place because the app gave me a wrong postal code to choose from. Road Warrior doesn’t have this issue. But other than that, it is good..Version: 11.9.1

Please stop changing everythingI only speak for me but this app gets more infuriating to use with every update. You get used to one layout and way of doing things then it all changes and you have relearn to navigate it all again. The address list and map were easy to change between, the search bar was easy to find, the routes were in a different tab and easy to locate. I know someone probably put a lot of work into this and I do commend their efforts but it’s a massive step backwards for me personally..Version: 13.8

“10 Free” routes is misleadingI haven’t moved from my location in the five minutes since I downloaded this app and I’m still trying to set up my first route, yet 8 of my 10 “free” routes for the month have already been used. ?????? Come on! I’m just trying to figure the best way to set the final destination for my hectic schedule through your interface! And I’m pretty certain the route I’m experimenting with at 5 am may change based on traffic later in the day. If this app works I would pay $10/month to use it for my kid’s carpools AND recommend it to everyone I know and post it to all the parenting info groups (carpooling chaos is no joke and parents will pay to make it easier!), but if you promise a free trial please give me a chance to use the route before you demand automatically recurring payments. I have been a GIS professional using mapping software for 20 years, so I know I’m not the only one who is going to have to tinker a bit to set up my first route. Adding a “Go” button to lock in a route or using location services to see if I’ve moved before counting an edit as a route could make me a lot less angry about this. Or just charge me up front with no free trial, but right now I feel cheated..Version: 10.4

Don’t even bother. This app won’t correct itself if you do a few of the stops out of order, it still tries to send you places after you have “checked in” at them. What a waste of $23. If I knew how bad it was before the trial period I wouldn’t have bothered. If I knew I could i would ask for a refund..Version: 9.7

Crash, followed by more crashes.I use this for work as a courier. It was a great tool. Since the latest update, however, it has significantly slowed down. It will not work properly until it crashes (which it does everyday). Customer services, will only tell you that they are working on it, and then nothing will be done. If you know of a better app to use, then please tell me. UPDATE: The app has again updated, and now it actually crashes at a minimum, 3 times a day. The “support team” is not helpful in the least. Avoid!.Version: 9.6

Good, could be betterI used this app for the first time to deliver about 50 packages at 45 different stops. I really like the optimization and the ability to mark each visits location. Hers where it needs improvement. Navigation to stops is done through a different navigation app e.g. Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, etc., which can get irritating switching back and forth; turn by turn navigation through the app would be great. I use Google Maps for most things and when this app sends the stop to Google Maps it is sent as lat/long coordinates instead of the address which can be irritating. It would also be great if there was a feature to add multiple addresses on the same street instead of imputing the whole address for different numbers on the same street. Overall it is a good app, just needs some fine tuning..Version: 10.91

AnnoyingWanted to set route for bike trip. But keeps changing direction of route and doesn’t even recognise names of towns let alone streets. Waste of time trying to use. Would be good for some one trying to find quickest route with out any concern of how to go.Version: 8.3
