✓ A great comic book appA great app with multiple methods for finding your favourite series and superheroes. The specials are awesome. I have accidentally doubled up on a few issues when I bought a collection. If there was a way to lessen the prices of collections after already buying a few of the issues within it, that would be fantastic :D.Version: 3.5.1

✓ Well done Marvel!!!This a great way to use the iTunes apps. I love the thinking behind this one. Espescially giving us access to the earlier out of print issues that would cost a fortune to buy and you'd need to wear White gloves a mask and tweezers to turn the pages. Like many people here I would be much happier with a lower price per issue as we aren't actually getting anything tangeable that could be worth more money in the future. I have some comics I bought in the USA about 15 years ago and I still take them out and look at them from time to time. Will I be Reading any of these in 15 years time?I doubt it. ✓ Excellent app!!This is one of the best app ever since I bought my first Apple product (an iPhone 3). It's even better now that I have an iPad. Not only is this the best comics app, but it's probably the best reading app PERIOD. Unlike DC's app, Marvel's is far more generous when it comes to providing free comics, something that is extremely influential in my decision to also purchase their other "priced" comics. I also love their Monday $0.99 sale! I can buy more comics that way. All in all, Marvel has done a tremendous Jon with this app and keep people interested in comics..Version: 3.0.1

✓ Extremely nice to useI'm not a big comic book reader, but I thought I'd give this app a go, and it really impressed me. The app is slick, easy and extremely pleasant to use. The transitions from one panel to another is especially brilliant, it really feels like you're reading the comic book. I also love the way how sometimes it shows part of a large image, then zooms out, or shows another part of the image, it gives a great effect. By far the best comic reading app out there! ✓ It isn't anywhere near as good as the Digital Comics App so...I think a Marvel rep, no scratch that everybody including them should read the Digital Comics App by Madcap Studios, inc in the App Store specifically The Darkness / Pitt comic. It reads automatically at the speed you set it & say if shots are fired it shakes & flashes on screen. So I was wondering if & when you guys would be featuring these old retro Batman "Wham" & "Thud" features in too? Especially when you guys have way more variety & volume where comics are concerned. ✓ Free StuffHello my name is George. I love this app because it gives me stuff to read on the way to school without eating my data. It’s a pretty good app in general but the prices are WAY, WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too high. £25 for an online comic. It’s only 30 pages and it’s not even paperback. Admittedly, this is only one, but the graphic novels are super overpriced. However there is some free stuff. There is an ok amount, but being comics, they won’t last you a week. Most are five page intros to big series’s. There are some good free ones I just wish there were more. Overall, pretty good, just could be better.Version: 3.11.8

✓ Nice app but seen it beforeThe Marvel app is great for purchasing and reading digital comics, purchasing is straight forward and navigating through a comic is slick with each panel easy to read. The problem I have with it is that it's the exact same UI as another app that's been out for a while called Comics by comixology. They have the same Marvel catalogue in their app at the same price, but they also have hundreds more comics as well by other publishers. So unless you're only interested in reading Marvel comics I don't see the point in having a separate app just for one publisher, you may as well install Comics and have more choice..Version: 0

When I see some new releases or I’m interested in buying a volume, I’ll purchase the book but it won’t download. I hit retry, retry, retry but still the book will not download. ✓ Digital comics and online are differentI recently upgraded to iPod 4 from 3 and was really pleased with the way this app works. Faster downloads, looks great on retina display and more stable. Also the new infinity comics are cool. I used to have an online subscription where £30 pa that let's you read online comics as much as you want (requires flash) wich was much cheaper than this but found that new titles would have issues omitted for months. I was annoyed that i could sign into this app with my marvel account but couldnt access the same service as on my pc. However on the marvel site you can also access digital comics you can buy and read on your pc and this app is actually a client for this service instead. You can log onto the marvel site and every comic you have downloaded on this app is there for you to read on your pc as well as your iPod or iPad. This should be better sign posted as it took me over a year to stumble upon it. Accessing comics this way is much more expensive but you can read what you want without waiting years to see if marvel digitize the issue you are longing to read. You can read purchases on your computer or download in seconds to you mobile device. It's pretty kewl..Version: 3.1.2

✓ Nearly Perfect.This application is very, very good. It is nearly perfect. I'm haven't been plagued by any of the issues or bugs that other users claim to have been so I'll say nothing of them. The reader itself is slick and simple to use. The comics have been rendered beautifully and cleanly and it is a pleasurable way to enjoy the medium. The biggest problem with this is not the application itself, but the in-app-comic store. The prices are unreasonable for a digital product that is devoid of any ability of resale. A brand new comic on the app is the same price as a printed comic , that not right as we are no paying for physical ownership . ✓ Great customer supportThis app is great, and the customer support is even better. Like everyone else, I was getting a lot of crashes. But at 1.99 for a graphic novel, I wasn't going to get nasty. So I submitted some feedback explaining it kept crashing, and whoever sent me an email back was great to me! They explained I had to reinstall the app entirely. Although it seemed bad, it wasn't that bad, and I can now read comics. When you reinstall, allow it to download all data in the store before signing in, or you will get crashes again. After that's done, sign in and pick what comics you want to re-download. Again, wait until this is done, and then enjoy! You might have to restart your iPod, as they suggest doing it after every app you download/update for any app..Version: 1.2
