✓ Not bad, but...This app looks great and has some really useful functionality built in. These drum machines cost a fortune so for £1.79 you can play/edit sounds from 9 separate drum machines easily. Options to load, play and export sounds and loops are available and although some samples do not totally sound like the original instrument, they do sound quite close. So why only 3 stars? It kept crashing when I tried to edit the samples and when I say every time I MEAN EVERY TIME. Would get 4.5 otherwise and probably 5 if the samples were accurate..Rob W from N.I.Version: 2.2

✓ Not happyBought it in light of imminent audiobus release but...the app crashes continuously. Totally unusable as it is. Some samples are noisy but that could be expected from original boxes. ✓ Needs AUv3It’s got great vintage drum machine sounds. Potentially better than the Classic Machines app that Steinberg sells. But lack of AUv3 makes it impracticle to use. ✓ There's some problemsAs the other reviewer has stated you are supposed to be able to export to "iTunes" but this does not work. I was hoping to build loops with this and audiopaste individual stems into auria but I managed to do one and now funkbox will not produce any sound (not using any external syncing). I should be able to have both Auria and funk box open and just audiocopy from funkbox and then audiopaste into Auria. I know this isn't a problem with Auria because this is how I work with many other apps. Come on guys, some simple testing would have picked this up..TurtlebootsVersion: 3.3

✓ No thanks on Version 3Loved the previous version. The simplicity, the drum machines, all were perfectly fine for my needs. Now all my patterns are gone (disappeared) and the new savable user machines run very slow and just make a bad experience. I don't need a hundred versions of a CR78. Plus the bass drum sounds on the new version aren't as fat as the old version. Please revert back to the old version. Wish I didn't buy this app now..Webkin54Version: 3.0

✓ Needs a few more featuresLooks cool and is a good start, but needs more features if it is going to compete. It's kind of a waste of time, when other apps do this but also much more. I get that it looks "old school" and is trying to emulate old drum machines, but that doesn't mean ignore its full potential. How about being able to adjust the speed of the roll button? ✓ 2 starsThis is missing really basic functions. For one, you can’t copy/paste sequences. So I can’t copy steps 1-8 and paste to 9-16, for example. Worse, you have to program all 64 steps so if you want to set up a quick 8 or 16 steps, forget it. I emailed the developer to ask about copy/paste thinking I might be missing how to do it, and didn’t get a response, so there’s that. The mixer section is really buggy. I bought this app to quickly get some beats going to play instruments along with, but tbh it’s quicker for me to just use ableton. This is a good example of why I rarely pay over .99 for an app..OoonionVersion: 4.0.1

✓ It's really good but...This drum machine app is brilliant, been playing around with it for ages now and made some pretty cool sounding stuff...only problem is although you can copy to clipboard when exporting your sample, I can't copy it into GarageBand. Has anyone managed to do that or can anyone tell me if it should/shouldn't work? Would be 5 stars if this worked....MattC84Version: 2.2

✓ Awesome but lost cowbell etcReally good. Great to have control over a Linn without shelling out for a real one! Thing is, in the Tap mode, when I flick the toggle on one of the top pads to get the cowbell, it isn't a cowbell. Happens on a couple other boxes as well, claps when it should be hi-hat, that sort of thing. Anyone else had this? Really good otherwise though, good selection of sounds..GreenGuitarStarVersion: 3.5
