Neuro Toolkit for Positive User Reviews

ThanksThank you..Version: 2.999

Practical and usefulI use this application frequently and find it very helpful. It combines mutiple neuro scales including the NIHSS in a single place saving me time and the hassle of using mutiple apps..Version: 0

Easy to UseThis App is really easy to navigate and includes a quick click way to use the NIH Stroke Scale. A great and practical tool for use in the hospital..Version: 0

Aphasia images goneI'm an Emergency physician and have used this program for over a year. I especially like the NIHSS, makes quick testing so easy. The latest update however no longer has aphasia images. When I go to screen it's blank. I'm on IOS 10.2. I've erased and reinstalled. Please fix this bug! Thanks. Alex.Version: 3.26

Neuro-hospitalistGreat application for any neuro related field whether you are MS3 or MS4 doing Sub I or required clerkship or even if you are Neurology , neurosurgery resident. Really useful for Stroke, Neurocritical care fellows and also for Interventional fellows specially from radiology or neurosurgery since they will have easy way to do NIHSS and document progress..Version: 0

Comprehensive app for neuro residentI use it every time on call. Great for both neurology and neurosurgery residents.Version: 2.999

Great AppConvenient to have scales all in one place, as well as tpa contraindications; easy to use; recommended for professional and students; has reference list too for more information.Version: 0

Switch to PDF makes it less efficientAn amazing app for neurologists. The use of rating scales makes ones practice more quantitative. However, the recent switch to PDF makes the app much less useful. The previous format of emailing a text file allowed copy/paste to EMR is a concise format. Copying from a PDF file puts in unwanted spaces between lines and is much less efficient overall. Please switch back to emailing text format files or having an option for both in settings. The password protection is hardly necessary as no one in their right minds would email documents with patient identifiers anyway. Overall keep up the good work. Still rating it 5 starts despite my peeve with the PDF format..Version: 3.12

The best app for acute neuro managementStrong foundation for acute scores and management recommendation. Good app for clinic use too. Definitely recommended to be used by every Neurologist/ ED specialist dealing with acute neurological conditions..Version: 3.50

Great app for the neurologist!I'm a board certified neurologist, and I use this app daily in my clinical practice. I downloaded it primarily for the NIH stroke scale, it has come in handy in multiple other occasions. The NIH Stroke Scale is well done and has the instructions for each item available without losing your place. Can't remember if the patient with flaccid hemiplegia gets ataxia points? It's right there. When you finish, the score can be emailed to you, so I never actually write it down. Works perfectly. It includes the aphasia cards as well (cookie jar and glove/hammock) The app has steadily improved and they continue to add new formulas and outcome scores. I would like a phenytoin correction for ARF and low serum albumin in the future. This is the best neurology app available!.Version: 2.1

Screen navigation problems fixedIt is very helpful to have so many scales in one place. Well laid out. I haven't found any similar apps which are this comprehensive.. The new version fixes the back button on the TIA/Stroke /SAH scale page. Highly recommended..Version: 2.60

Great Neuro AppIn addition to NIH stroke scale, there are many other features to evaluate and help with prognosis of neuro patients - strokes, seizures, bleeds, etc. Great for anyone taking care of neurological patients - nurses, students, neurologists neurosurgeons, interventional neuroradiologists, ER docs, internists Easy to use.Version: 0

Disappointed with upgrade to PDFsJust upgraded to iPhone 12 & again having problems emailing out the results of UPDRS results. Error message saying I have not entered patient details. But crash happens before chance to add patient details. Old review- Handy App for the wards with ability to email. The app used to email text now it emails pdf files. Unfortunately these are unreadable or incomplete at least in the UPDRS section I use most frequently. Please go back to the old version or fix this problem. Rob Useful App but since recent upgrade August 2019 it has been crashing when I try to email results out. I have been forced to take screen shot to photos to save report scores. UPDRS should be kept in this app even when the MDS-UPDRS is added as the latter is owned by the MDS and each time use a fee potentially applies. Rob.Version: 3.80

Nice app but needs tuningNice app but needs tuning (e.g. Cookie theft picture to Ax language fluency in CVA is loaded sideways). Hope these and other little adjustments are made. Good general use..Version: 2.60

Excellent for Neurologists!Perfect to have all the important scales and scores right at your fingertips.Version: 3.71

Neuro AppWorks well. Moves between screens with a swipe of your finger at the top of the page. It is simple, to the point, and quick to load!.Version: 2.25

I like the app, but needs updated. The app is straightforward and easy to use and navigate. Only problem is that it hasn’t been updated in a while. Last update was in 2019. The NIHSS needs to be updated to include the addition of the right and left distal motor function. The results can be up to 4 points different depending on if you are using the old scale or the new scale. I stopped recommending this app until the scale gets updated..Version: 3.84

Helpful, could use a couple more toolsAs an Emergency Physician, I frequently use the neuro toolkit, particularly the NIH Stroke Scale. I would love to see more head injury-related material, especially the New Orleans Criteria and Canadian CT rules--combined or separately..Version: 2.999

Fantastic and helpfulVery useful on the wards and in the emergency department..Version: 0

Wonderful tool!Thank you for this wonderful tool. It makes a residents life much easier!.Version: 2.06

NeuroGreat tool for a fast assessment and evaluation in an emergency setting. I recommended it to all my colleagues..Version: 2.95
