✓ This app and company has improved dramaticallySome reviews here were written at a time before various taxi services merged and the current app and merged service is very different to what it once was. I am pleased to be able to say that it’s a vast improvement and so far (albeit early days) I am finding it excellent. I’m not sure why the reviews that have been selected to be displayed on the App Store entry at least on my iPhone all are 1*. Certainly there’s a strong preponderance of 5* ratings in the complete set of reviews. It gives a potentially erroneous impression, I think, which is largely what motivated me to write this review right away..Version: 10.29.0
✓ Perfectly decent taxi-hailing app.I have been using MyTaxi since early January while studying abroad outside of Madrid and have been very happy with it. I am almost always able to get a ride on-demand, and the taxi drivers who have picked me up have been very cordial and professional. Yes, the taxi drivers usually turn the meter on when you request a ride, not when they actually pick you up, and yes, the cost-estimates are sometimes inaccurate, but this is a taxi-hailing service, not a ride-share service. If you expect this app to function exactly as does Uber or Lyft, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. If you want a reliable, easy-to-use taxi-hailing service, this app is perfectly fine..Version: 7.19.0

✗ Waited 30 minutes, drivers cancelled and then got a cancellation fee chargeTried using your services today and I’m sorry to say I’m disappointed. Not only did 2 drivers cancelled the ride but also one of them kept going in circles and never got to pick us up. We waited for more than 30 minutes, trying to get a ride and decided to finally take a bus. I was surprised to see that now there is also a charge for the cancellation I did for the driver who kept us waiting and driving in circles. Really eh worst experience I’ve had in using a ride service with an app..Version: 12.34.0
✗ Still shockingly bad GPS after so many updates!I used to love the Hailo app. Whenever I “hailed” a cab with it, the driver could find me very easily since the app told him almost exactly - and I mean exactly - where I was standing. After so many updates that I’ve lost count, I went to use MyTaxi this evening, having lost faith in its ability to correctly show the cabbie where I am (past attempts have placed me several streets over or even round the corner from my actual location). THERE’S STILL NO IMPROVEMENT! Standing on Euston Road, heading westbound for Marylebone Station, the app placed me on the north side of the impassable road, heading east! This app is so bad at locating passengers that it’s not worth using. Do yourselves a favour and either revert back to Hailo or get the developers who wrote it to work on your app because until you do, I’ll use the only location device I trust: my hand to wave down a passing cab!.Version: 7.9.2
