✓ Still doesn’t download MagnificatI have followed instructions re status memory but the month still does not download. Please fix..Version: 5.1.17
✓ New Version NOT working for me.....I sent a comment via the app on my phone but never heard back so reviewing the app in iTunes. The update has flaws. First, at 11:37 pm when I opened the app it took me to the next day. Apparently the app thought it had passed midnight however I'm on Central time and it had not passed midnight. Secondly, no matter which option you select from the daily menu, it always takes you to the top option "Prayer for the Morning." When I select "Prayer for the Evening" it still takes me to the morning prayer and I must page down to the section I want. In the scheme of wordly issues, none of this is a big deal but a nuisance. Sometimes new/updated is not always better..Version: 5.0.2

Contact to TECH SUPPORT is not available and CUSTOMER SUPPORT has no idea who/where/ ... CUSTOMER SUPPORT is unable to provide any help. App needs to be updated for IOS 12.1.4 otherwise selected features [esp Lectio Divina]. The Lectio Divina is only available for the first Sunday of each month. Selecting LD from ‘OTHER FEATURES’ only shows you the LD for the first Sunday of that month. I called CUSTOMER SUPPORT and they supposedly do not have TECH SUPPORT. Up the creek without a paddle. Prior to 12.1.4 the MAGNIFICAT features [esp LD] worked. Per APPLE: after hours of research it was noted that the last version did not include IOS 12.1.4..Version: 5.0.7
✓ Clunky & requires Internet connectionAt the very least you must connect once a day to download each section. Can't even view credits or About without being connected to the Internet. Forget it. Both free and paid apps are out there that will provide the same material and more without the constant need for wi-fi or 3G.Version: 0
✓ Warning: Past purchases are deleted automaticallyUnlike any of the other periodical subscriptions that I have through the App Store, this app deletes past purchases on an annual basis and then presents them for re-purchase. This is a rip off. There are many resources in the monthly issues that are not bound by date. It would be nice to be able to go back and take advantage of them since they have actually been paid for..Version: 5.1.12
✓ Error while loginHave not been able to log in on the app since the beginning of June :( I can log in on the website with no problem. I have a paid online subscription. I even tried deleting & reinstalling the app. It’s been about 2 weeks now. I reached out to Magnificat yesterday by email, waiting to hear back. I rely a lot on the Magnificat app for daily prayer as well as a worship aid for Mass. Very disappointing, hope to hear back from them soon to fix the issue!.Version: 5.2.0
✓ Version 5.0.4 BrokenI just updated the app on my iPhone 6 and my iPad. The newest update dated Nov. 4, 2017 will not download the newest edition on either device. I have completely closed the app on both devices, and deleted and reloaded and the problem persists. It indicates it is downloading and to "please wait" while the dot indicators appear to show it working. Then I get "Error loading. Touch to retry." I have tried to load it over wifi as well as using data on my phone to no avail. As of now, the app is completely useless as I cannot access my subscription from there. Developers, please get this fixed A.S.A.P. This is one of my most often used apps..Version: 5.0.4
✓ Not workingHaving used for the past 2 yrs, the April edition will not download. Have been in contact with the app support team but this has proved unsuccessful. Will not be renewing as they have not advised if there is a technical issue their end. My brother has the same issue so he won’t be renewing either. Such a shame as he is sight impaired & this was so good for him as he could increase the text size & read it, so it’s back to me reading it to him..Version: 5.1.17
✓ MagnificatI was so excited by this app and have been looking forward to it. I was really disappointed that you need to have a connection at all times to use it. That's not always an option for an iTouch user. I'm further disappointed that this point isn't in the description. I really enjoy the Magnificat publication and was looking forward to having it on my iPod, but I'll be going back to iMissal for my daily readings..Version: 0
✓ Nothing is showing upThe last month or two it just shows a blank page for whatever section I select. I have tried the workarounds mentioned in others reviews but it doesn’t work. Guess I’m cancelling this app even though my subscription is good until October 2023. It’s not a huge financial loss but I can’t believe I can’t use it any more. It was a very useful tool during Mass forms but not any more. Hope they get it fixed for others..Version: 5.1.19
✓ No alternative English-speaking localisationIn the printed version we now have the UK, Ireland, etc... versions of scripture, but not in the online version or this app. The content is not user-editable: fonts, copy-paste, nor does it adapt to screen width... unlike Universalis. Basically, the texts are fixed image files. Please sort this out. In today's market it comes across as very amateurish..Version: 3.1.1
✓ What happening to to this App?Hello, I have been using this Magnificat’s App since the inception of this App 2014. We enjoyed this app very much and used it every single day. And I paid the annual subscription for it. But recently, the last couple of months, this app started to act very strange. The app certainly for no reason goes to the ‘Downloading your Magnificat, please wait…’. OK, no problem, we wait for it. So, this happened at least once a week. Then more often, then lately came with ‘Error loading.’ Then, we tried to quit the App, that works couple times. Then I restarted the phone, works couple times. Now tonight, I restarted the phone, and deleted the app off the phone, and reinstalled the app, it still doesn’t download the content. Then for a moment later, I thought I can use it on my iPad, then the iPad started to have the same problem! And this whole thing never happened to my iPad, I suspect it when after I deleted off my phone, then my iPad is infected with the same problem. Every time I launch the app, I got the grey screen saying “Downloading your Magnificat, please wait…”. 1 second later turned to “Error loading. Touch to retry.” I tried it more 50 times, results were the same. We updated the phone and the iPad with the latest App. Please fix it. Thank you!.Version: 5.1.19
✓ Text sizeI love the Magnificate but when I first used it you used to be able to stretch the page and make it larger like you can for the back of the book for the pictures or the front or the calendar why can you not make it stretch on day in day out date’s. Your size font is very small. I have set at +++ I also use I Breviary it has good text size. Can you make some upgrades so I can use Magnificat Thanks Martin.Version: 5.3.0
✓ Still have problems.This app is great when it’s working I love to use it to follow the readings and the order of mass at daily mass. I was using the April 202woman edition with no problems until a few days ago. Now I need to re-download the April edition and get the message that there is an error when downloading. ✓ Missing some featuresI really love using this app. It works smoothly during Mass. In the last update the Marion Antiphons in Latin were removed. I wish the Latin Marion Antiphons were was added back in. Another feature I would love to see is the beginning words of each Eucharist prayer put back in to help guide the reader to the chosen Eucharistic prayer during Mass. To make it better it would be great if the beginning words for each Eucharistic prayer was a link you could touch that would bring you right to the beginning of the prayer..Version: 5.0.7
