✓ “Loading content” frustrationI have no issues with the content itself. Good job there. However, the constant jumping back to the top of the article with the slightest non-up and down scroll and with a split second message “Loading content” before reloading is maddening if it happens twice I abandon the story. ✓ Great news faulty appAP is of course a fantastic news source but app REFUSES to remember my login. Wouldn’t be a problem if it didn’t mean that when you click on a headline notification it prompts a login instead of bringing you to an article and once you have logged in it then brings to you the home page instead of to the news article! The notification disappears because you’ve clicked on it and the in app search function is so bad that it is very difficult to find the article you wanted to read. ✓ Previous version was better and easy to accessHi! I been using the AP app for more than two years. I was quite happy and satisfied. Nonetheless This version looks more complicated in its outlook and in operating it. The previous version simply had top stories and the geographical regions. In addition for people travelling this new version in some regions and countries can only be accessed and updated via having a VPN . It looks more focused on US news , rather than the international focus. The previous version however did not require such a complex way of connecting to the app. While traveling to the west Asia region now I thus need to use VPN to access the app. Hope and looking forward for you to address these issues. Meaning, if you’ve scrolled down to sports, and opened an article… then switched to another app, like messenger, the APNews app resets all the way back to the root home page. Annoying to say the least, and one would think it’s a relatively rudimentary feature that should not happen. Second star was docked for lack of an ad free subscription. ✓ Topics don't work to curate so it's all USA all the time.I want to love this app. It's simple, the news stories come up on my Apple Watch - readable and with breaking news - but is it relevant news? No. I was happy to spend time adding topics and sorting them so I'd see what was relevant to me. But the time was wasted as I tried, then retried. And tried again. The topics section does nothing, and even if you delete an irrelevant topic, it undeletes immediately and everything slides back into default order, and it'd all USA, all the time.
