Learn Muscles: Anatomy for Negative User Reviews

Great BUT..As a radiology student, majoring in ultrasond.. It is helpfull to know the names of the muscles but it do not show 3D images.. So in my case i cannot know whats posterior or anterior to wich muscle.... But good for only learning the name of the muscles.. Disapointing for me..Version: 2.1.2

Great app but the test is to easy!!Firstly Guys, great app a lot of information the models look great to! 2 things brought this down for me though. No 1. The test: multiple choice answers are to easy when you get questions like adductor brevis = extends the finger. Please make them specific to the area! No 2. Some of the muscles are hard to determine specifically which muscle your talking about most are highlighted but some aren't. Overall definitely worth getting but considering we pay quite a bit (by app standards) these problems should be fixed. Look forward to seeing an update!.Version: 2.0

Simple and usefulThis app has been useful for the old knowledge check. It’s not the greatest app I’ve used or experienced but it plays it role in education. Simple and easy to use..Version: 6.5

TerribleBlurred pictures, no sound and is constantly zoomed into the image ( will not allow you to zoom out ). Purchased for uni, to help with anatomy, $4.49, that I probably do not have and won’t get back 👎.Version: 9.3

It’s helpful, but it still has some bugsIt’s helpful, but some bugs are there.Version: 8.0

Corrections neededBought this app to aid me with studying.external intercostal origin and insertion are wrong.(mixed up).kind of makes me wonder if there are more errors...could be a great tool ....Version: 2.1

Waste of time & moneyDon’t waste your money! A refund would be nice worst app I have ever purchased!.Version: 5

Room for improvementAlthough it is a good app, there is room for improvement. A lot of muscles don't have their full body on show so it's difficult to see origin and insertion. As a medical student I would suggest this app as a complimentary learning tool. It is helpful for when you forget particular muscles etc..Version: 2.1

Not the best app for human anatomy structuresThis app looks decent but doesn't seem to have all muscles and the 3D version lacks a lot of the muscles. I would have rather saved my money and got a more advanced anatomy app - like Essentials Anatomy..Version: 2.1.2

What a waste of &I had just the muscle app, which was free when I downloaded several years ago. It had been screwing up - showing the wrong graphic for the wrong muscle, not giving any information except for pronunciation; so I deleted it. When I reloaded it, I found it was part of a bundle that now costs $6. The description said that the bugs had been worked out; so like a fool, I bought it. Still has the same problems mentioned above. How do I get my money back for an app that doesn’t work?.Version: 6.8

Inaccurate infoApp not working..Version: 6

Okay but not greatAs a grad student of phys therapy I got this app to review for a clinical and think it helps however the pictures are not very helpful at all most muscles do not even allow you to see both attachment sites as there is only one picture for each. Many muscles are isolated missing key reference muscles that would be used to find the muscle being viewed either clinically or academically. I'd say it's worth the few bucks but don't rely on this as your only study aide if you want to be able to visualize the muscles. The app would also benefit from pictures and descriptions of arteries and nerves such as the branches if the brachial plexus, distribution of peripheral nerves, myotomes, and derma tomes.Version: 2.1

Poor quality and very basic quiz questionsI guess I got what I payed. The image quality isn't great and the quiz questions are way too easy. I can guess the right answers most of the time. I even tried the .99c 3D upgrade. For anatomy students, I recommend looking elsewhere..Version: 2.1.2

Keeps crashingI used to enjoy this app until the last update.. it keeps crashing!!! Please fix.Version: 4

App UnstableApp is unstable. Will not stay open. Don’t waste your money..Version: 8.0

Ok but not greatThis app is generally quite good, I like the info and videos, the quiz is a good feature but I think it's a joke to ask for more money on the 3d models especially asking for more money for an app that is overpriced to start of with, and the feature of 3d models should be included anyway, I have apps which update with more complex features and new features added all the time and it's free. What's the point of updating with a so call FREE update if you have to end up paying for the feature anyway. It's like getting free water but you have to pay for the cup it's in, pointless. Don't get me wrong its a nice app, but making updates that are advertising features you have to buy is so annoying..Version: 2.0

Has potential, but disappointedI purchased this app because i was excited for the quizzes but they keep crashing :(.Version: 5

Crashes to much!!!I would love to give it 5 stars because it’s information is wonderful and it’s a great help aid but now with the crashes it’s worthless!! Please fix!! And make it easier to report issues. Thank you..Version: 9

Cuts off! This ap would be perfect but it’s been having some technical difficulties I had it fir months now and it’s cuts off, the sound sometimes isn’t working I deleted it and reinstalled it still having this issue.Version: 9

DisappointingThis app is very disappointing! It would be much more helpful if the adjoining muscles were also pictured and named, so we didn't see each muscle in isolation. The picture that sells you the app is misleading. I would like to see each muscle in relation to all the surrounding ones. I also wish this app had a 3D feature that let you spin the body to see where muscles attach in the front and back of the body (like the Human Skeleton app does). It would also be more helpful if it showed the layers of muscle, and named the surrounding ones, and showed us the insertions..Version: 1.2

Useful, but not suitable for professionalsGreat looking, but great number of errors. If you need a basic familiarisation with anatomy and aren't going to rely on this app as being accurate for revision purposes then go for it, it looks good. If you're a healthcare student, be wary of its limitations though. The first two muscles I checked were wrong and their errors mean I'm deleting this next as it's no use for me as musculoskeletal expert. For example, longus collis being supplied by "cranial nerves 2-6": It's 'cervical nerves' and someone could easily fall for this error if learning. (CN 2-6 are responsible for vision, eye movement, chewing and facial sensation!).Version: 2.1

IPhone app audio doesn’t workIPhone app audio doesn’t work for me. iPad works fine. The app is useful however without audio the value drop a bit. Like the quiz function. Suggestion to developer: The app doesn’t have a place to report bug or issue and I have to come here to report it :(.Version: 7.0

UghThe app crashes and zero sound !! I need the sound to hear the pronunciation of the muscles!!! Grrr.Version: 5

Only basic information :o(Definitely worth 2.99, but if you have even the most basic understanding of A&K, you already know all of this. I was hoping for something comprehensive and was disappointed. Having said that, I am sure thousands of hours have gone into is development, and I look forward to seeing if this product evolves..Version: 9.3

Not badHalf decent if you are already familiar with anatomy. I would not recommend as a sole learning tool. Some of the naming is inconsistent as well as the detail about origins and insertions. The customizable quizzes are a useful feature..Version: 4

Please please fixI have latest ipad pro and I can’t see all the options in the quiz... only the first 2 (unless there are only 2 options and in that case the labels are mistaken).Version: 7.0

Wrong muscles shown when taping on specific muscle! For instance, when you are in “Locations” and you select a muscle, it pulls up the completely wrong muscle! For instance, I clicked on “Leg”, “Rectus Femoris” and the muscle is actually the Sartorius! They are even labeled wrong! This app has been awesome since getting it years ago— something happened in the update and it’s now complete wrong!.Version: 6.8

Can't disable vibratePlease add an option to disable this feature..Version: 4

Great learning toolThis is a great tool to do some quick studying if you are on the bus or have a few minutes to spare, the quizzes are not hard but I find it good practice. Worth the $3.Version: 2.1.2

Pretty disappointed with app qualityI was very excited to purchase this app and actually bought several of the companies applications at one time because a friend of mine showed me how awesome and useful they were on his IPad. The Iphone application, however, does not have the same 3D viewer options or 3D model options as the IPad version does!! The application is notably clunky and provides a poor user experience. I do not have an IPad, but I have a MacBook. I tried to download the app onto my computer hoping that it would have the viewer options, but the application for muscle locations isn't even in the MacBook app store.. The application is not unusable, but it is not enjoyable to use.. Please upgrade the locations option to a viewer and do some fine tuning! The application is not far off and contains good info, but right now the info provided does not flow together well for people who are visual learners. Overall, the app in it's current state is just sort of annoying to use..Version: 3.1

MeHmm it is very good.Version: 2.1

Some misnamed muscles, some glitching. Very useful when working, I wish the body map was interactive.Version: 9.3

Not comparable with iPadProDoesn’t work on my iPadPro.Version: 6.7
