Ski Tracks for Positive User Reviews

Good appGood app. I’ve been using this app every ski season since 2014. Easy to use and great features. I only wish that there was an option in the app for key stats to be read out loud every so often (set by user) so you don’t need to keep getting your phone out of your pocket..Version: 2.6.1

Excellent tracker for skiing holidaysGreat that it links to Apple Health so updates my activity each day and I love the tracker that reviews the full movement during the day. Excellent app, works well on the iWatch, and is indispensable for our skiing holiday!.Version: 2.4.4

Best app for skiing! This is by far my favourite app to record my skiing. I love how easy and simple you can record, other apps you need to take your phone out and start the recording every time you go up the lift but with this you turn it on and just leave it in your pocket until you are done skiing and it will automatically get rid of chairlift rides so it doesn’t count that as your overall time/distance. Great app that you should definitely consider!.Version: 2.6.1

AwesomeLove this app. As a family we all use it for tracking our adventures and of course comparing statistics. Great to use year on year too to look back at previous seasons achievements. We also met the owner in a bar in the alps - who was super friendly and helpful when I asked him a few points about the app. If you love skiing - get this app!.Version: 1.6.5

Great App but Needs a Better PartnerPrefer Ski Tracks to any other Ski App but one thing is missing. The App has to transfer tracking activities to the Slopes App in order to then be seen by Strava. It would be great if an update came forward and Ski Tracks talked directly to Strava! What’s the chances?.Version: 2.5.0

AwesomeGreat app, I'm surprised nobody thought of this sooner. It can distinguish lifts from runs and gives great stats of all your runs. Tried it in Thredbo Australia with an iPhone4, works very well, no problems and not too savage on the battery. $1.19, can't go wrong..Version: 1.3

Great app but last update broke some statsI have used this app for several years now for snowshoeing and hiking. I really like the simple display and variety of stats. The stats (with the exception of the maximum mph ) have compared favorably with other similar apps. Unfortunately, the last update to v4.6.1 broke the calculation of ascent and descent. I compared the same 4 mile hike before and after the update and the after footage was way off, much too high. Also compared a mountain hike where the trail ascent had been professionally determined. Similarly the ascent number was much too high. This has been reported to the coders..Version: 2.6.1

Great appCheap with heaps of good info, great to compare different days and different runs!.Version: 1.3.5

Ski Tracks ROCKS!I have used this app for a few seasons and I think it’s the best thing available! Absolutely amazing data that is easy to analyze after the skiing is done. Highly recommend!.Version: 2.8.0

Awesome appNot using Apple Watch so no comments about it. This app rocks for all my ski needs. The map and edit functions are great for those occasions when I forget to turn it off after skiing. Just edit the end of the runs. Easy. My want list: Merge runs over multiple days on the same mountain to create a composite of all runs on a given mountain. This would be very helpful in finding runs that haven’t been explored. Annotate where falls or rests appear. This would be great to show where and how often we rest or fall. Auto merge photos with ski route. Use the gps to link photos to places on the ski map to show where photos were taken during the course of a ski day. It would require accessing the photo album and pinpointing the location on the ski map or time of day..Version: 2.2.2

Nombre de descentesBonjour, Un ami et moi avons téléchargé votre app payante et nous avons comparé les données J’ai fait 22 descentes tandis que mon ami a 25 descentes Pourquoi ? Merci.Version: 2.6.0

BrilliantOnly discovered towards the end of our trip after using a much more expensive and inferior app. So disappointed that I had not found this earlier. This is just the best Ski app out there. I have no hesitation in recommending. Detail, graphics and layout have been well thought out with clearly some good thinking applied by the developers. This makes this a real pleasure to use. Well done and THANKS!.Version: 1.3.3

WatchSki tracks for Apple Watch is great. Doesn’t seem to take a lot of battery. Records your calories into your exercise app on your phone. Exports your runs into your phone Ski tracks app at the end of the day. Better than running it on your phone all day. Wish it would start recording automatically when it sees you skiing. Lost a half day of data when I forgot to resume recording after lunch..Version: 2.2.1

Great appVery good app, however it would be nice to be able to have a profile of some sort, so you can add friends and compare stats..Version: 2.2.1

I forgot how good this app wasI use strava for most of my bike stuff and so used it for first day of skiing. Disappointed with the results. Remembered this app and it is a lot better in terms of understanding when you’re on a lift etc..Version: 2.4.3

Great App - Developer is really focused on usersHave used and throughly enjoy this app for the last 6 seasons It’s a great way of keeping a record of ski trips, with great accuracy and reliability The app is dead easy to use and isn’t too hard on battery - especially if phone is kept in inside warm pocket - cold eats battery power Unfortunately on my last outing I experienced a glitch with the app so contacted the developer - couldn’t have been more impressed by both the speed of them replying but also the real interest they had in fixing the problem - thank you for outstanding customer focus guys Overall I’d unequivocally recommend this app.Version: 2.2.0

Et montre Garmin?Pourquoi pas importer d’une montre Garmin pourquoi seulement Casio?.Version: 2.8.0

The best app everI'v been using this app since 2010 and it's the first app I put on my phone when I get a new one. It totally revitalised my skiing I went from a bit of a lul in a season to still wanting to get out every day even when it was April and practically no snow anywhere, trying to beat my top score or biggest air. We have had so many fun games in resort trying to see who can get the highest speed and who can track most of the mountain in one day. Actually my favourite app in the world. Recommend to anyone- even my brother who spent one whole day completing only one run with one lift top speed 4mph....Version: 1.4.5

Téléchargement sur Apple WatchMême si j’appui sur télécharger l’application Ski Track à partir de ma montre de mon IPhone je ne l’ai pas l’application sur ma Apple Watch.Version: 2.5.5

C25K NHS Running Plan?I use this app for running and just tell it I'm Ski Touring because I prefer the functionality to my Fitbit app. As I only ski once a year it means I still get full use all year round. Excellent..Version: 2.2.3

Great appI’ve been using this for 4-5 years and really like it. It is set and forget. You just turn it on, throw your phone in your pocket or backpack and off you go. Not sure how the iPhone gets such a good GOS signal when not out in the open, but it seems to work all the time. I haven’t done much with it other than check my stats at the end of the day and see what we did. It’s really cool to know how much vertical and how many miles you've traveled. There’s more to it than that; you can store photos. It seems to be pretty accurate as far as mph, distances, showing your exact route, etc. but hard to say because there’s now way for me to verify the data with another tool. Request for developer: It would be really great to have a picture page in the app that shows all of the pictures from the runs and you simply my scroll down the page through the pics and click on a pic to review that track. This way, if you remember a great feature on a mountain you can snap a pic of it in the app and easily use ski tracks later on to help find the exact run that got you there. People would love this if done with a slick interface..Version: 2.0.1

BrilliantSo simple and yet so informative. Doesn't destroy battery life either. Great app!.Version: 1.3.3

Great appBeen using it for years. Just found a bug however: when you pause a track and resume it only shows the top speed from the second stint for the day rather than the top for the whole day.Version: 2.5.1

Nice app and here are some suggestionsI’d like to suggest a few improvements. It’s nice there are a lot of activity choices. Could you add skijoring? Currently the most similar choice to that is dog sledding. I’d also like to see skate skiing and classic skiing on the list, not just cross country skiing. In the Ski Tracks screen where you can view past ski tracks, I’d like to be able to see activity type and sort by activity type. I would also like there to be an additional timer that tracks moving time (currently only total trip time is tracked) Last, sometimes the app auto-populates with a ski area name that isn’t correct. How can we suggest corrections so that next time we ski there it will come up correctly? Thanks.Version: 2.5.2

So many features!I’ve been using this app for about three seasons now, and it has always impressed me with its accuracy and features. Even now, in the off season, I can look back through each trip and remember all the great (or not so great) times I’ve had over the last couple of years. It struck me that it was probably time to review this app as I sat in the middle of the off season thinking about a skiing app. 11/10 would recommend..Version: 2.2.0

Does what it saysBattery efficient. Worked perfectly.Version: 1.3.7

Best ski app!Must have for any skier or snowboarder. Great for comparing days and measuring progression. Export your tracks into google earth an make all your friends jealous. My only wish that one day I get more export options such as export runs only. This app is so good I'd be happy to pay more to the developers!.Version: 1.3.12

Fantastic!Best app I have seen for tracking your ski day. So interesting to look at the stats! Adding comments and conditions is a great way to remember the day. The downside is that this app will eat your battery so start the day off at 100%! Would like ability to edit or delete ski runs if you accidentally hop in the truck and forget to turn this off!.Version: 2.6.1

Great app but needs auto pauseI have used this app a few times for classic Nordic skiing on my Apple Watch series 5. The app works great and has no issues using my Wahoo heart sensor chest strap in place of the Apple Watch heart rate sensor. My only requests are as follows: First, add an auto pause feature. So if I stop for any reason, the timer stops. Second, add the ability to add min and max heart rates and heart zones. Third, allow user customized screens. As it stands, without these features, I will likely switch to a Garmin fitness watch. The app has a lot of potential though, and for the price the premium version is unbeatable..Version: 2.4.2

Best App to date!I’m not one to rate apps but I feel compelled to do so for this winter sport app, I’ve been using this app now for will over 5yrs it’s simplicity and details screen is easy to use. With very little changes over the years the saying why change something that isn’t broken is true..Version: 1.6.8

What happened??I signed back in this year and it only synced to 2016. What happened to the last few years? I know I recorded. Frustrating as I paid for the full version..Version: 2.4.3

Great ski app I’ve used for years nowStarted skiing about 10 years ago and used this app for most of those. It’s great to be able to look at past seasons and compare. The watch app works well too, although I’ve just upgraded from a series 2 to a series 8 watch and the Lock Screen button doesn’t seem to be working in the app anymore. Hopefully a bug fix in a release soon..Version: 2.9.3

Ski tracksIt’s great for looking back and seeing what you have done. I wonder about the maximum slope gradient sometimes. What would be useful is if you could delete the section where you forgot to turn it off and you have a taxi ride added in and averaged..Version: 2.2.1

Best ski recording appI love this app, and use it all the time. I have tested out competitor apps and by and far Ski Tracks is the best, and I always come back to it. A couple of friendly suggestions/requests to the devs: can you please allow more selections on Apple Watch? I backcountry ski/ski tour often and would love to be able to do so from Apple Watch. Additionally, is there a way you could enable pinning on maps after recording? Thanks for a great tool!.Version: 2.6.0

IPhone plus model screen optimisation neededGreat app! Can't ski without it now! Great too now that it is compatible with Apple Watch to quickly see speed and altitude! It would be great to see optimisation for iPhone plus models in time for the 2016/17 season... scaling is needed and potential to display additional info on screen!.Version: 1.5.1

Long time user feature requestLove this app and have been using it for years as a free app and had to purchase. I be tried several but by far this is my fav. I would love to see a feature added namely the ability to add a complication for Applewatch. I have a dedicated snow sports watch face with complications to all the apps I use whilst skiing and wish I could simply tap the complication to open the app from the watch face..Version: 2.7.1

Used every year since 2012. LOVE it but...I love this app and have used it since 2012 all over the world. It’s more than just a tracking app to me, it’s become a diary of my development. When I get frustrated with my skiing I can look back at a tangible and I’m depth record of how far I’ve come. I wish I’d made more use of the photo aspect of the application, as when I have I’ve been able to link memories of runs and days with friends to data of how we skied that day. This season I have an Apple Watch and I’m loving using the app on that, BUT I can’t work out how to stop the app changing the main screen of my watch to a read out of the previous run everytime I finish a run. This is OK, but I prefer to look at my tracks at the end of the day. I’d like to use my watch as a watch during the day with an option to look at the ski tracks read out. It’s a pain to change to the watch face every single time because I’m invariably on a lift in ski gloves trying to change it back to my watch face. If this can be resolved the app would be perfect..Version: 2.4.4

Best ski appGreat stuff. Love all the data collected for that apré ski discourse. Need to add tobogganing as an activity..Version: 1.3.4

Pourcentage de penteComment ajuste le pourcentages de pente . Depuis que j,ai changer mon iPhone pour un iPhone 11 le pourcentage est toujours à la moitié des autre collègue de ski Normand Gingras.Version: 2.9.3

Great AppI’ve been using ski tracks for 6 seasons and its great on so many levels; at the end of the day you can review the route you took and when you’re not skiing and back at work it lets you daydream of the slopes by bringing all your previous trips back to life!.Version: 2.4.4

Recent improvements appreciatedMy last review was critical because of certain specific problems which were such that I can’t tell whether they have been fixed. However this year I noticed immediately an overall improvement of organization which makes the app very much easier to use, so I felt it fair to revise my review..Version: 2.2.0

Amazing AppI could not want more in an app that tracks my boarding or skiing! Highly recommend!.Version: 1.4.5

Best app for snowmobilingI have an iPhone 14 Pro Max running on ios 16.3.1 and this app, even though it came out over a decade ago, is the best backcountry GPS on the market. I go to the British Columbia backcountry in the Okanagan and this has helped me keep track of my trips and where ive gone and how to get out of the bush. I can fully close the app in my multitask view and open it up and it will STILL be tracking my maps and altitude, just open the app at home or in cell coverage and load the area in the map view before you start and your good to go. Would fully recommend to anyone who needs a budget GPS, although I would still carry a real GPS and an Inreach as a backup, this is still very useful for finding play areas where no one else knows about;).Version: 2.9.3

Excellent AppDoes exactly what I needs to do for tracking! Well worth getting..Version: 2.9.3

Only thing missing is google maps optionFantastic app! Only thing that could improve it is having the option to use google maps or apple maps (like many other apps now have)..Version: 1.3.5

Ski is like a ritualFor me and my family this app is amazing.Version: 2.4.4

Awesome appBeen a user and fan of this app since 2012, and it has got better and better almost every year since I first installed it. Pretty much 100% reliable by my book - I have 150+ days of skiing logged and fully backed up. This is truly an app written by a winters sports fan, with no "money grubbing" going on like other skiing / snowboarding apps. The only thing missing for me is an integration with Strava - so that would be my number 1 request from the app developer. Nice one - this app has my recommendation - 5 stars..Version: 2.6.1

Cracking appLooks basic but I have been using Skitracks and Slopes for years, ski tracks has a more basic user interface but has strengths that Slopes doesn’t, I think you can interrogate it more. Both apps need an interactive piste map where you can get it to select lifts and runs to get from here to there using blues, reds and blues, any run ie blacks too..Version: 2.9.1

I think you should add Spotify to the music partGreat Relly helpful.Version: 2.7.1

Very nice appI love being able to look at my max. speed, distance, vertical, and path on the google earth map. It's worth purchasing the full app to get the extra features. There could be a few improvements yet. I often have to re-name the ski resort. It does not work well on small hills (under 350 ft.). And it would be nice if the trim tool could be used to set start and end points for individual runs and lifts within your track. Overall a very nice app, well worth the price!.Version: 1.6.5

Great app - accurate?I think it’s the best app. Ran 3 apps today and started and stopped all within seconds of one another. Other than the time they all were surprisingly different. Vertical feet seemed to be the biggest culprit. I wonder which is most accurate? An online search yielded reviewers preferences but not an accuracy comparison. Anyway maybe SkiTrac could investigate. The app is always a top choice. Developers - please integrate with Strava. That’s why I purchased an a secondary source in the first place..Version: 2.2.1

Best app for the snowI have been using ski tracks for many years now for tracking my runs in the snow. It’s so good tracking distance travelled, top speed etc etc. Doesn’t disappoint well worth the couple of bucks it costs..Version: 2.9.9

PerfectionNoice.Version: 3.0.1

Fun app!Tried out SkiTracks Lite before purchasing. Liked it enough to buy it, but the 3 runs I tracked with the lite version weren’t imported - bit disappointing. But love the app..Version: 2.7.0

Ski Tracks lite data disappearedI just upgraded and all my “Lite” data disappeared. Not happy about that..Version: 2.6.0

ExcellentI love this app. It works perfect on every mountain I have ever been on. The fact that you can operate it on your Apple Watch makes it even better. I had an issue syncing my with my new phone and contacted customer service. Within 24 hours they emailed me with a password reset. The app and customer service is great and I recommend this app to all outdoor enthusiasts..Version: 2.6.0

Fab fun app and so easy to use!We had great fun with this app on our recent ski trip and by the end had recommended it to so many people we met! Tracking our top speeds and distances skied was useful and fun to compare and even for a technophobe like me it couldn't have been easier as it saved data each day without me having to do anything. 5 star rating.Version: 1.6.5

Great appLove this app and using it for the last 4 years. Would love to have the weather ( temp, wind)..Version: 2.7.0

Nombre de descentesJ’aime beaucoup cette application, mais pourriez-vous remettre le nombre de descentes? C’etait un gros plus,m.Version: 2.6.0

Love itMy son and I love this app, it’s such a good way to track your speed and runs etc.. it does all the work for you.Version: 2.7.1

Over all a good appReally solid app, needs more features, eg: Would love to see an option to name the individual runs / lifts, perhaps build up a database of resorts and runs, ability to display weather would be absolutely fantastic!.Version: 1.6.5

Excellent app and supportI’ve just come back from a week’s skiing and used Ski Tracks again. It’s super easy to use - just click once and leave it running! It provides great ski stats. And I had a query and support got back to me super quick, fixing my problem..Version: 2.4.4

Great App!Spent 10 days in Niseko Japan and loved this app. Turned off 3G and data roaming, and still worked really well with long battery life (I was listening to music on my iPhone most of the time we were on the mountain)..Version: 1.3.3

Cool, cheap App wish I found it sooner!:))).Version: 1.3.3

Very Well DoneUsed this on a recent 6-day ski trip to track our runs, speed, map - it does everything you want in ski tracking and nothing you don't. You can tell the developers really know what they are doing. The watch app is basic but useful and works well. No crashing or glitches on the phone or the watch, though it didn't work until upgrading to WatchOS 4.2. After running the GPS and tracking all day, I was surprised to see only a fraction of the battery on my iPhone 8 was used. Very impressive. Suggested improvements: - Better maps that show ski runs (uses the Apple Maps built-in, which doesn't - Google maps does) - Controls in the watch app to start/stop, etc. I don't want to drop my phone from a lift! - Enable the snow sports workout type on other  Watch models than Series 3..Version: 1.6.5

Great app!Amazing app! Great job, simple and easy to use! The only feature I would include is an auto shut off of some sort so to stop recording as you’re driving away from the hill at the end of the day..Version: 2.5.1

Needs two major fixesGreat app but it needs two important features: 1. Ability to delete certain runs in a session since some of my sessions now list my top speed at 130 km/h because I forgot to end the session till I got home 2. Ability to auto end (or pause) session when outside of a certain range of the skiing area or when the user is in a self designated area (parking lot for example) Other than that, this app is awesome..Version: 2.5.2

Missing a trick here!In every way this app is great. It would be great if it would have better auto- detection of chairlifts and lunch stops and shuttle buses, though that might be impossible. It would also be nice if it synced to health apps like MyFitnessPal, Withings, Garmin Connect (with Garmin watch), 8Fit..Version: 2.4.4

Very good app with 2 caveatsExcellent app, very useful and pretty accurate, but: 1- as many other reviewers mentioned: easy to forget to stop, impossible to correct (give us either an auto-stop or the possibility to delete a specific run) 2- last update removed the counter for Runs; please bring it back.Version: 2.6.0

Brilliant AppVery good app, provides very in depth statistics and is really useful!.Version: 1.3.9

One ov the Best App’s ever if you Ski/BoardBest app Ever for keeping track ov ur day. Keeps track ov Everything & DEAD on for location tracking which makes it Awesome for sking the trees. B cool if they added topo lines as an option 👍 maybe they do🤔 never looked I guess. So Happy just as is. Had the app for 3 years now & I can go back & see my 1st season w/Ski Tracks🎉🎉. Its fun to break out the phone on the chair and look at ur current day. People sitting next 2u are like - Whatttt😳😳 And go download the App👍🎉 GREAT APP👍🎉🎉. Thanks Ski Tracks🙏🙏.Version: 2.5.1

What a great appThis app works really well. Data is accurate and a lot of thought has been put into the interface and application features. Highly recommended..Version: 2.7.1

AmazingHonestly can’t fault it it’s so good. Been using it for a while and defo recommend especially all the features..Version: 2.9.3

Hiking essentialUsed it to find my way out of very low visibility. Show it to a few, all bought it straight away..Version: 1.3.1

Ski tracksThis is a great app, but for one draw back. You can only enter one track at a time. Would it not be better to pre enter all the tracks you're likely to do for the day and just tap a track when you're actually doing it for the first time? The GPS takes care of subsequent tracks, as it does now. That's why I gave it four stars(+). Kurt..Version: 1.3.7

A fantastic app, simple as thatI rarely review apps but in this case the Developers deserve a huge round of applause for creating such a brilliantly simple to use tracker. We have just returned from Val Thorens and all 9 in our party have used it for at least 3 years without a single issue. Just get it, it's brilliant..Version: 1.6.5

Ski tracks for watchFantastic app, recently went skiing and it tracked everything. Very exact and the map of where I had been was brilliant. Only thing was some days I forgot to turn it on for a couple of hours and it’s a pain to remove gloves and stuff to them open the phone and all of that. Maybe in the near future to download it to smart watches? But apart from that. I highly recommend. No fees at all.Version: 2.4.4

Great app, one recommendationLove this app, very simple interface to use and check in on your skiing/snowboarding for the day. Speeds can be a little iffy but with gps and terrain, they do a great job with what they’ve got. Only gripe is that when you forget to turn it off and drive away from the resort, there is no way to fix the mistake. I would recommend the ability to delete runs on an individual basis or a slider bar on runs to adjust the start/end times. OR figure out what Trace Snow did where it detects you are in the car and won’t record that data. Just the one thing missing to go from 4->5.Version: 2.2.3

Exceeds ExpectationsI’m work in the ski industry and have been using this app for over five years. In my opinion it’s still one of the best! It does not use much battery power even when my days take me beyond 40,000 feet of vertical. This does everything you would expect and does it well. Was also pleasantly surprised to find that it tracked me thru the mountains of Europe while skiing from town to town. The Apple watch interface is awesome as well. I could go on about how it interacts with health and music apps but you can explorer those features for yourself… Enjoy..Version: 2.5.2

Great app - accurate too !Love this app. Adds another dimension to the ski day and is very useful to figure out where your travels have actually taken you ;).Version: 2.6.0

Great App could use some improvementsGreat app for tracking stats and how many runs you do. However it could be improved by implementing a feature to automatically stop recording when you leave the ski hill. I often forget to stop recording and then my stats get messed up due to the drive home. Overall great app.Version: 2.6.1

Excellent AppAccurate & easy to use. Does what it says in the description. Well worth the £1.79 - being able to restore previous recordings on new devices using your account details saves a lot of upset as well. One of the best apps on the market for slope recording..Version: 2.9.1

Simple, fun, useful.Simple to use and review the slopes. Great fun to see where you went, and (lets be honest) how fast you went. Very easy to use back at home, although a bit fiddly if you’re geeky like me and type all the run and lift details in..Version: 2.2.0

Missing one thingIf you could just apply the piste map when looking at the maps this app would be perfect as it’s the only thing missing for a skier. This is because I like to know which tracks I’ve done and there are no other good apps that can record where I’ve been-Maprika used to be good but no longer works and crashed a lot..Version: 2.9.3

Mad apJust loved it. I got 72 km on the snowboard.Version: 1.3.3

Ski ski shoop shoopThis app is great, it gives you all the bits you want to see at the end of the day. The one thing I would love to see is the track coloured in the map view by altitude and/or speed to give a lot more flavour to the tracks..Version: 2.2.0

FabulousGreat value for money. Works perfectly. All the info and features you would ever want. Thanks!.Version: 1.3

Where have all the ‘runs’ goneLove the app but the newest update removed the number of ‘runs’ from the dashboard and now shows ‘slope’ two times instead. Would be great if they could bring back the ‘runs’..Version: 2.6.0

Love it - one thing though...Gives good telemetry, easy to use, doesn't kill my battery - great! My one big request is - being able to edit/delete runs after saving the track. I have this bad habit of forgetting to turn the track off until I'm driving down the road - messes with my data! Being able to edit/delete chunks, and recalculate averages, would be awesome..Version: 1.6.5

Works pretty good for general app.I like using this on my Apple Watch, then checking stats later on my phone. Only complaint is that max speed isn’t counted if it’s obtained on your last run but will and is if on any other run. It’s a little annoying but not a deal breaker at all. Over all seems to work well..Version: 2.6.1

Vertical reporting???Love it…many years strong!! However this year I noticed that the vertical skied main reference is the “total vertical” rather than “vertical skied” or “downhill vertical” as it’s been in the previous years. This skews the reported stats. Can this be changed back to report as the main “vertical” to be the “downhill vertical” through some setting? Or does it need to be on an app update? I’d think I’m not the only person that doesn’t like this. When a skier talks “vertical “ that they skied, it’s not usually including the uphill travel. Thank you!.Version: 2.6.0

TransfertDepuis que j’ai changé mon IPad, le transfert de mon application Ski Track ne ce fait plus de mon IPhone à mon IPad. Qu’est-ce que je peux faire afin de rétablir la connexion? Merci à l’avance Gilles lussier.Version: 2.8.0

Great app, I have a suggestion!I love this app! I have been using it for two years now and it’s so cool to track the amount of runs I have done, my elevation, distance and speed skied among other things. One thing I forget to occasionally do is stop my track once I’m done skiing. So, I was hoping you guys could add a feature in the analysis tab of the past stats that could delete your run! This would make my daily, along with yearly stats, much more accurate. I hope you take this into consideration! Thank you very much for an awesome app, happy powder hunting!.Version: 2.5.1

Best ski app!Love using this app. It’s a must have..Version: 2.7.0

Were did the numbers of runs go in this app?Love this app but where did the number of runs go? Miss it 🙁.Version: 2.6.0

Does the job!I have been using Ski Tracks (and lite) for several years. Only a few hiccups over those years - I always make sure to leave background apps on refresh and since - no problems. Nice way to have a record of the runs you make over the day and season. Speed, number of runs made, etc. Map overlay feature gives you a nice visual of the days conclusion on f how much terrain covered..Version: 2.5.5

Good app - a few suggestionsIt works well and is very stable. For me - what’s it’s missing is the ability to add groups or other skiers, so that within that group you see what their stats are (particularly good if you are having a competition for furthest distance, or top speed), or see group photos, or tag events (falls, bad snow conditions etc)..Version: 2.2.3

Must have for skiing! - one recommendationThis is a great app and does everything it says it does, and well. It has my full recommendation and is well worth the price. One thing I wish it included was Siri compatibility. If while I was skii I could press my head phone button and say "what's my top speed", "how far have I gone", "pause track" "start track" etc. that would be great!.Version: 1.6.5

Love the App!I like being able to “compete” with friends via screenshots of the stats. I do have a couple of suggestions though: I would like to see a “Groomers” category, for those days when we don’t venture into the crud. I would also like to be able to delete the last run from the totals for those days we forget to stop the App before driving down the mountain. SMH. We’ve all done it. Keep up the great work!.Version: 2.5.2

This is fabulousThis is the best app I have bought. Works so well. Everyone I have shown this to has been amazed. Skiers (and ok, boarders too) download this now....Version: 1.3

Great AppJust back from Canada, worked great and now have fantastic data for memories and bragging rights with mates. Great app..Version: 1.3.7

Love this appUse this app every time we ski. Simple interface, easy to use, great stats. Nice to know number of runs, time, speed, elevation and the map for each run. Nothing fancy or over bloated interface which I really like. Sure like others I’ve forgot to turn it off and it records my 70mph drive home. But for just getting the basics it is perfect..Version: 2.5.1

Could be perfectIt’s a great App and I love it but could be so much better without too much work. The lift could very easily say “which lift” (ie Payday Express rather than Lift 1) and the run could easily say which run which would be brilliant for looking back on a previous visit. As it is it’s very awkward to try and see where you’ve been although granted it’s possible. Even the Epic App which is rubbish tracks the lift data. So come on Ski Tracks get that little mod done to make this app great..Version: 2.2.0

Amazing!Very good, pretty accurate, very intuitive interface. Only thing I’d add is a bit more data for the year summary (currently only ski distance, ski vertical and top speed) It’d be really nice to know the amount of runs for example. Otherwise, very good!.Version: 2.5.5

Good iPhone app. Apple Watch not as muchFirst thing’s first: this app works great and by all my tests, seems to be pretty darn accurate at least for the casual snowboarder that just wants a fun way to look at their day. I really enjoy being able to quantify how hard I worked after a day of riding and this lets you break down the information quite well. Just prepare to keep your phone buried and warm to ensure your battery doesn’t die. The bad, the Apple Watch app seems to be flawed. I like it when it works, but it seems to display the wrong information almost always. For me it seems to never think I stopped snowboarding and displays ridiculous multi day duration times. Highly recommend just would like them to fix the Apple Watch integration as that was a big selling point for me..Version: 1.6.5

Louise PoirierIs there an auto pause?.Version: 2.5.1

Best app for tracking snow time!Great simple design does what it says on the sticker and does it really well..Version: 3.0.1

I love this app!I use it every time I go snowboarding without fail. There are so many useful features and data. I would like to suggest a couple features that I would love to see in the future: ability to edit my track in cases where I forget to stop it before driving, ability to set elevation changes that must be met before the app counts another run(for when I’m in the park and walk back to hit a feature multiple times). I would pay for these features and more..Version: 2.6.1

Ski tracksLove the App Use it all the time - keep up the good work!.Version: 1.3.3

Use every ski tripI love using this app and comparing max and avg speeds and distance travelled with my friends when skiing. Only one issue — you can’t delete individual runs. This is an issue because sometimes I’ll forget to turn the app off when I get in the car after a day of skiing, and it’ll count the car ride as a run or multiple runs. That ruins my stats for the day because I can’t simply delete the “run” that was actually the car ride..Version: 2.8.0

One of my fave appsExcellent app to track your skiing. Battery usage has improved a lot. Only thing might be ability to edit your final run (I've left it on by mistake and driven down the mountain)..Version: 1.3.9

Best app for tracking yourself on the pisteThis app is amazing and massive props to the guys who continue to build and improve it. I’ve been using it for 7 years now and it never fails me. The only thing that stops me giving it 5 stars is that the app still doesn’t show markers on the speed/altitude graphs that indicate when a run begins and ends. Please make this happen guys as I know you track this data as you show it on the map screen.Version: 2.4.4

Season tallyThis app is set up for northern hemisphere ski seasons. App thinks the season runs 1 October to 30 September. Not so good in the Southern Hemisphere where season is June thru October means your season tally is split between two seasons :-(.Version: 2.4.4

Brilliant useful appI have used this app for four years and it is brilliant record of where you have skied, distance, number of runs, max speed. Love it..Version: 2.4.3

Awesome appThree of us each using it here in niseko, japan on our iphones. Works great, lots of detailed info. So easy to use, just press start and throw it in your pocket. No need to have mobile data or 3g switched on. Easy to upload data/graphs to facbook etc. Same creators make a Bike app too, will def be using that one when we get back home to Brisbane, Australia..Version: 1.3.3

SkitracksGreat app - only complaint is the map overlay option sometimes provides a summer aerial photo instead of winter.Version: 1.3.3

Love this app for the snowI’ve used other apps for tracking my days on the snow but Ski Tracks wins every time. It doesn’t use the phone battery as much as others do. There’s plenty of information at your finger tips, 3D mapping, access to your music library and just a well thought out app. It’s fit for purpose. Get this app, you won’t regret it..Version: 2.5.1

Suggested FeatureFor skiing, it would be nice if I could isolate individual runs in map mode. Seeing all runs together can get a bit difficult to follow..Version: 2.9.1

FantasticHave enjoyed using this app for years. Today I had reason to contact their support team and the speed at which they sorted my issue was second to none. Bravo. Great customer service. Keep up the good work!!.Version: 1.6.5

Great appUse this app every time I ski. Very accurate compare to an older garmin edge 305. I haven’t noticed any problems with battery life. The integration with watch has improved. I just noticed you can now start and pause your day from the watch without pulling out the phone. I keep the phone in my jacket pocket. iPhone 6 works with no issues. Plan on digging out my old iPhone 5 and see if I can plant it on my son since he at time skis off with his race mates will I ski with his younger brother. I upload data to garmin connect to view on any browser..Version: 1.6.8

Great app but slight issueWorks great on my phone but has started bugging out massively on my Apple Watch. Doesn’t log all Km covered by a long way and registered my average speed as 375kph but max speed as 64kph. Ski Tracks, I’ll happily up my review to 5* if you can provide a fix!.Version: 2.2.0

Love ItI have used this for 5 years and it it’s the BEST.Version: 2.9.3

Very handy appI love this app, my 5yr old son goes Ski training with instructors & I leave my phone in his pocket with Ski Tracks on. When he finishes his class, I can monitor his progress & daily activities with ease & confidence. Excellent app!.Version: 1.3.7

Great for X CountryHave been using this for years now, reliably and accurately tracks my ski routes, easy to use and share..Version: 2.5.5

Easy to use and fun stats to haveDoes what it says , I used free version for a few days then upgraded. Using on iphone 8. Thanks to developers.Version: 2.2.0

Great app but have one suggestionVery happy with the app. I have been using it to track my skiing for 10 years! Also very happy that you added the Apple Watch functionality, it saves having to take out phone in the cold. My only suggestion would be to allow editing: shortening the elapsed time or deleting the last run. Its happened to me a few times that I left on ski tracks while driving home. It destroys the statistics. I’d rather delete the last run then delete the entire day..Version: 2.6.0

Best in the bisVery clear and easy to use. Have used in France, Austria & Italy on numerous occasions, never had a problem. The Lite version is good but the 0.89p is well worth it..Version: 2.5.5

Great app! A small feature request though...I really like the app! And on top of that, customer service is super responsive, I was very pleased with that experience. Can I ask for a feature request, though? I’ve noticed that I can pair the app with an Apple Watch, but I have a Fitbit smartwatch. Can you also develop the app for the Fitbit and/or enable me to pair it as well? There is some other app for the Fitbit but I wanted to use Ski tracks :( Thank you!.Version: 2.5.2

One annoyanceGood app and the best I’ve found. But desperately annoying that you can’t delete runs from a day’s skiing (even though you can edit their names). I have a habit of forgetting to turn the app off at the end of the day, meaning that the app then records my ‘run’ home in the car ... which I obviously want to delete..Version: 2.2.0

PhotosBonjour Comment on peux mettre des photos dans votre application après notre sortie. Il ne semble pas y avoir de fonction. Je suis avec un iPhone Merci.Version: 2.5.2

Amazing appThis is a beautifully executed app, particularly when you use the Apple Eatch version. In fact it may just be the single best reason for getting an Apple Watch! Just about the only thing that I have any issue with is that the speed display on the Watch is in km/hr and no obvious way to change this. There is no setting either in the app settings or the watch app settings for this, and the manual for the Watch app is silent on this. There may be a way of doing it that I haven’t found yet, but if there is it should be easier to find, and if there isn’t there should be!.Version: 2.4.4

Does Not Share Account Between Lite & Full VersionsLike the app but it’s requiring me to create a separate account as I transition from lite to full version. Also had to check website to figure out how to move data to full version. I expected as I paid for full version it would have upgraded in place the lite version. Instead it created a “duplicate” app on my phone. 😩.Version: 2.6.1

ExcellentGreat app for tracking your skiing, easy on your battery too, tracks all day without any problems.Version: 2.4.4

Awesome App!This is a great app for those who love tracking their statistics. Not quite 100% perfect but just about there. Didn't pick up two short Summit runs and a lift but otherwise all good. Easy to use, doesn't drain your battery, great features. Used at Mt Buller yesterday afternoon. Would be good to be able to email a snapshot of all stats with your tracked map on a brochure-style page at the end of the day..Version: 1.3.1

Great app, but I wish ...Great little app. Seems to work, accurate as far as I can tell, has proved remarkably accurate on the occasions I’ve been able to check it, lots of interesting data, great interface. However, I wish I could install it on my iPad too: I’d like to be able to look at my ski data on a bigger screen. Or maybe the developers could create a web interface to allow us to look at the ski data in the same way as on the iPhone app. It is possible to back up and export some data, but it’s not as good as what you can look at via the iPhone interface. As well as ski tracks and bike tracks, I also wish you did a “walk tracks”. Like ski tracks, but for walking. A competitor to Track Me and Google Maps Timeline. Do it and I’d buy it in an instant..Version: 2.2.3

Great app, but Health integration flakeyLove the app, I have used it for years. Now with Health integration I was looking forward to adding my tracks to my Health record, but there seem to be glitches. Firstly, all the time I run Skitracks it attributes all the time to Exercise, so I am getting amazing ‘Green’ rings in Health, but they are not earned! The second thing, it appears the heart rate trace doesn’t always make it to the Skitracks workout panel in Health, sometimes saying chart unavailable… Lastly, it feels like Skitracks is attributing a very generous interpretation of Health’s Active Calories. Just doesn’t seem to fit with what I know about calorie burn for me All a bit technical, apologies. Still love to use the app, though 😀.Version: 2.2.1

Great App, Really fun and can be very highly recommended.Helpful to know where you haven’t skied as well as where you tend to ski. Has definitely saved us several times in whiteout conditions. One wish is that you could add days when you don’t remember to start it or add some vertical when you start it late. Very helpful when helping someone who hasn’t been to a resort before. Has everything and more than what I would think of..Version: 1.6.5

Run countIn the skiing mode, the app should allow for a setting for a minimum vertical before counting it as a run. Very iftern I will do 18 or 20 runs a day and the app will record 21 to 23 runs because there may be 3 times during the day that I went down say 40 feet and it counts it as a separate run. So either a minimum vertical or only after going up a certain vertical do you count it as a run..Version: 2.5.1

Great app! But update!Great app guys. By far the best ski app out there. But seriously. Update your app guys! Bit annoying with the smaller screen on the iPhone 5!.Version: 1.3.3

Easy to use and accurateSo far so good. I've used the app for 10 ski days thus far, and its pretty cool. Nerdy, for sure. But its neat seeing your "stats" for the day. I've checked the app against my car speedometer, and other people's apps, and it seems super close (for the speedometer function). Setting my Iphone to low power mode makes the phone battery last a long time, despite the cold. Switching it to airplane mode helps even more. Overall, well worth the $0.99..Version: 2.5.1

Great, one or two tweaks neededI’ve been using this a few years and love to use it to track distance skied, etc. I don’t use all the features but they work well, although one or to small additional features would be great: - edit data mid-track...can do so at the start or end of the day but not in the middle - I took a ski bus part way through the day without pausing the app which screwed up my distance travelled and top speed - integration with piste maps -3D tracks, like the excellent ‘Relive’ app (or even partner with Relive to export tracks like you can with Strava)..Version: 2.0.1

It's lasted all dayI was lucky enough to try this App on a recent trip to Lake Tahoe It worked as advertised and it's great see how far & fast you've gone (Skied 30km, no wonder I was rooted) Battery lasted for over 5 hours before my battery dropped to 20% when it pauses to save battery (20 month old 3GS & my battery not what it used to be) Haven't checked performance at Australian ski fields, hence why it's only 4 stars, plus 1 run had me overshooting into the car park,.Version: 1.2.4

Great app! Apple Watch 6 update please :)This app is really cool. I’ve been using in the Canadian Rockies for years. Pay for it. It’s pretty accurate and a lot of fun to check out while you’re shredding the gnar chasing the pow. Always on Altimeter will be a fun update to see your elevation from the side of the Z in 3D. Woot woot!.Version: 2.5.0

Awesome app butApp is great and works awesome! One thing you guys please please need to add is being able to delete runs for when you forget to shut the app off and get in the car, it ruins all your stats for the day. If you made it so the runs on the map when you select it could be deleted that would make this app 5 star for me..Version: 2.6.1

Une super applicationJ’adore suivre mes stats sur cette appli. Elle est vraiment très complète!.Version: 2.9.8

Love this app!Great app! It’s accurate and well worth purchasing. Would love to see some weather/precipitation integration so I can get a complete picture of past runs and seasons . By far the best one I’ve tried with my iPhone and works great with my health app and fitness tracking. Can’t wait till spring to try the bike app..Version: 2.6.1

Nifty little AppUsed the App at Falls Creek for a week. It missed a few runs, but all in all picked up most and produced some interesting stats. The App has a built in iPhone camera function which records the position of the image on the map/run. With the default 20% battery shut off, I only managed to get 5.5 hours at best, but I personally wouldn't fault the App on that basis. It has a player which shows a dot on the map representing you skiing around the place .... an interesting novelty. The accuracy seemed pretty good with all multiple running very close together on the map Would be more versatile App for me if it cold be used for other activities such as off road mountain biking and motorbiking. The max speed display just begging you to go faster can be a little dangerous for those that might like to push the envelope a little too much..Version: 1.3.1

Ski tracksAwesome app. Works really well and is alot of fun..Version: 1.3.3

Good app but would like some changesThis app is great. You turn it on, put it in your pocket and enjoy your ride. I love the ability to trim my ride at the end of days when I leave the app recording. You get a few miles down the road and your data is off, it’s nice to be able to make your runs more accurate. I would like to see it work better with my Apple Watch. Other than that it’s straight forward, easy to use and view. Totally recommend if you want to track your runs..Version: 2.6.0

Great AppThe best skiing app for anyone who likes performance stats..Version: 2.2.3

Love the statsAmazing app!.Version: 2.6.1

Good app but live tracking of friends would be goodThis app hasn’t really been improved since its inception. With most resorts offering good 4G coverage it would be good to be able to live track friends, view others ski tracks data (similar to Strava) and have daily leaderboards of most distance covered or fastest top speed.Version: 2.2.0

Great app.... please fix the bugs and watch supportFantastic app, however can be temperamental with the health and activity integration. Useless if you are planning to use it on your watch though. Fix the watch issues and silly little bugs and it a 5* from me.Version: 2.0.1

Just BrilliantThe perfect app. Simple and accurate... slope angles, speed, time, averages... added to ur own music and photos if you want. Turn it on when you start to ski, pause it for lunch, start again and then save the day and review. Perfect..Version: 2.2.0

Can not trim endCurrently can not trim the end of a track.Version: 2.5.5

Simple to use and easy on batteryUnlike a lot of trackers this one is easy to use. Just press play, put it in your pocket and forget about it. Battery use is surprisingly minimal. Less than 30% on my iPhone X skiing all day. It would be great if it could recognize piste and lift names, but other than that, top app..Version: 1.6.5

SuggestionWhen changing password could you give more guidance on password requirements. I wasted a lot of time and found by trial and error that some special characters ie # are not allowed but there was no clue so I had to reset my password several times before I could log back in. Thanks.Version: 2.5.1

Love this appWhat a great app. Just finished 1week of skiing and was able to review each of the days skiing in great detail. Have some suggestions for later that would make this great app even better but none of which detract on giving this app 5 stars..Version: 1.3.3

Make it able to upload to StravaThis is a good app, but if it could sync with Strava which has all my other workouts it would be great. Many other apps can already do this. Is it a licensing or cost issue? I have free apps that can do this, but I even have the paid Ski Tracks app. Also, if it could break out the time for a run down a slope it would be great, vs combining it with the time to go up a lift too. FYI if you’re interested in feedback..Version: 2.4.4

Best ski tracking app out thereI've been using Ski Tracks to track my ski trips for at least 7 seasons now and I really can't recommend it enough 👍😊.Version: 1.6.5

Extraordinary AppHave been using this App for 3 years and it is a fantastic time keeper. It is great to store memories and progress doing the activity that we love in the outdoors..Version: 2.5.1

Great appI think this is an amazing app and give the developers a major thumbs up for its ease of use. The only thing I wish they would look into is allowing the user to save to a user defined album per track in Facebook instead of a default one that's all in one. Cheers, Pandora Black.Version: 1.3.12

Meets My ExpectationsI have always wondered how fast I was going down the mountain. Now I know! It was also fun to “replay” my day. This app met my expectations of a GPS tracker. Thank you for not having any in app purchases like your competitors. There is absolutely no justification to do that for an app like this. If there was one thing I would like to see added, it would be the ability to edit a Track after saving it. While using it the first time, I forgot to pause the app when I got on a shuttle to go from one Ski area to another (Loveland Ski Area in Colorado has two areas that are accessible by shuttle) so the app recorded my ride in the shuttle. I could also see myself forgetting to stop recording only to remember on the drive home..Version: 1.6.5
