A big news story will occur and the Fox News app will send out a push notification that references it, but *deliberately* obfuscates the headline so that the notification doesn’t actually tell you anything. It’s all headlines like “Big verdict reached in Supreme Court case”. Always deliberately ambiguous, so that you have to tap the notification and open the app to see what the clickbait is saying. I check this app every day, and first I have to fight through the irrelevant articles, abundant spelling and grammatical errors, outdated segments (it’s April, and I’m still seeing NFL video replays from November), not to mention all of the ads that are nothing but clickbait. All it would take is a little focus on editing the articles, spellcheck wouldn’t be a bad idea, some attention to detail on punctuation and correct grammar usage. The app is getting completely overrun with these issues, and it’s becoming extremely annoying to navigate through a news source that should be more of an example of professional and well-written articles. ✓ Terrible new pop up adsWas my go to news app but recently these stupid fullscreen ads keep popping up, you will be reading an article and all of a sudden without warning the whole article disappears and there’s a stupid ad filling your whole screen and you have to try to figure out how to get out of it. I’ve been closing the app when this happens, but they just come back again. If this keeps up, I’ll probably stop using it.
