✓ Broken and misleadingThis app is severely buggy. I'm blown away Apple decided to feature it. does Apple even test their products? Email verification usually doesn't work, halting the app. If you get past this stage, you discover you have to either buy it multiple times or have everyone you know using the same iTunes account and redownload. It's not in the app description (big surprise) that you basically have to pay multiple times. Misleading, buggy and bad. An awful app..TimeoffVersion: 0

✓ Not as efficient as a phone callThis app seemed promising but in order for me to get an updated position I send a ping or I tell it to force an update and then the message tells me that I will be notified when the user on the other end accepts my request to update their position. so in other words it requires interaction from the person on the other end to update. I may as well just try to call them on the cell phone and ask them where they are. I liked the alert siren, but that only worked once. UPDATE: pings no longer work at all, the phone being tracked displays no alerts and makes no sounds. I followed troubleshooting instructions, checking settings, even to the extent of removing and reinstalling the application, still isn't working properly. going to uninstall and buy something else.AppleadaykeepsthewindozeawayVersion: 3.4

✓ Works, but could use some improvementsI like the app and it has some good features. I like that I can see all the iPhones/iPads I'm tracking on the map at the same time. It works just like the developer says it does, and the tracking is accurate. Two problems I have with it. First, set up was a bit confusing. It worked best when you ask to track a device, and then from that device accept it. If you try to give permission to track from the device you want to track, it doesn't work. Once I got everything set up after three tries, it all worked fine. Secondly, tracking only works if you ping a device AND the person using that device accepts it. I would like to be able to track the device even if the notifications are ignored. I only hope that the app will be updated with the new iOS 4 to somehow take advantage of background processes to accomplish this. Overall it's a great concept and a good implementation. ✓ Just not real accurateI have to say, this is a ok first try, but not something that can be used on a day to day basis. Even at its best setting, it will run your battery down in a couple of hours. When compared to mobile me (find your iPhone) it was anywhere from a few blocks off to several miles. (Mobile me was within 100 yds) Wish list for future versions. 1. Bread crumbs on maps 2.
