✓ Careful, it’s addictive!I have been playing this app since 2010, just after they started. I play about 6-8 times per week, rarely playing more than 20 minutes at a time. That’s the problem. You can easily find yourself playing for hours daily. It’s a gambling game so if you tend to have a gambling addiction, you can easily be hooked. Good news, it will not cost you much if you do get hooked. The managers of this app were much more generous in the beginning and gave away free chips very regularly. Now the free chips are farther in between and you will have to buy some chips if you wish to play in the more expensive gambling games. $10 will get you going, $100 will get you enough chips to last forever, unless you are a really bad gambler. I spent nothing for the first 6-8 years until I realized that I should morally pay the apps team some money for all the enjoyable playing time I had over the years. I just hope the developers don’t have access to our back and forth. If they do, they are having a hell of a good time reading our correspondence! The game gets glitchy sometimes and full-houses to your straight seem to come out of nowhere, but if you’re a good fund manager, there’s now way that you shouldn’t be able to earn plenty of chips so that you never have to buy them. Tip: make sure you turn on the collection feature. It’s an effortless way to earn extra. Playing the weekly tournaments is also fun and profitable. ✓ Fun & frustratingI have been playing this app for a few years now. I don’t care for the algorithm, as sometimes it is skewed towards the house to much, and then sometimes to me to much. I also take issue with the payout of pots to some hands. One item that really chaps my hide is connectivity. I open the app, play some games, and when I leave that game, I get offered some chips as a bonus, only to lose them because the ad won’t load up! I have missed out on over a 100k coins just in the last three months! That’s the frustrating thing. I still enjoy the games overall. One item of note; I don’t purchase coins or chips, so I have gotten to my level on my playing ability and the free daily chips. ✓ Good game, questionsI think this game is fun, easy to use, and very reasonable. I mostly play under the Blackjack game system, despite playing poker more often. I believe previous comments show why chat rules need to be in place. I do not like that Boost poker more often has lower than the total paid in. Actually my $50k buy in almost always has the total winning as $75k, despite three players contributing the $150k pot. This could improve to at least be the true pot size or at the very least $100-$150k for 75% of the time. Questions for developers: Why the new eye function? When are my cards actually shown? I would like specifics please. I have seen players cards who folded (last to fold against one other player) and never revealing the winner’s cards (likely bluffing). Is this new feature to encourage players to hand over login/Facebook to information to remove their cards being shown? And does this remove it? Also, PLEASE fix the game to auto log out players who close the app. At the very least it could log them out after the first “circle” of time! ✓ Very unrealistic poker experience / boringThis game does not offer a particularly realistic poker experience, there are endless free chips all day and I can literally go all in 10 or 15 times in a row sometimes and always end up with a prize as unlike a normal game of poker you are awarded a prize for the second and sometimes third best had which makes the game incredibly boring to play. It’s almost impossible to lose unless you’re literally the worst player on the planet and practising on a game like this that is so different from a standard poker game that you are going to play in any normal tournament almost makes it a waste of time from a learning point of view. I can only conclude that the reason the game is so easy is so that they can hook you in for long enough to bombard you with these pointless adverts to buy tokens and other nonsense and that there was never any intention to make a realistic poker game in the first place. The ads on the main screen are so fiddly and obnoxious as well you literally have a half second window to press start game before you’re bombarded with more rubbish. Avoid and find something better if you’re a beginner as you’re not going to learn much from this rubbish all they want is to get you hooked on these mindless tokens. ✓ Great Game But………..This is one of the most addicting games I’ve ever played I’ve also poured money into this. The problem I have is that sometimes they just throw you into a high value room and you don’t even realize it tell your dealt cards. And it’s happened a lot. Playing in a million dollar table I loose hit play again and goes into a 100 million dollar table. Or when your doing challenges or daily quest and push the play now button it puts you in the highest table possible. The first time or two they do refund you the chips. But if you don’t watch where you go your screwed. And they have gotten really really greedy. ✓ One of the best out of all of themIn my opinion this is definitely one of the best out of all the poker apps on the App Store. My other favorite is pokerstars lite, but this one is a bit more fancy and a little more helpful with the indicators for different hands. Pretty much every poker game on here has reviews saying it’s rigged. There’s no way I could say for sure, but rigging it could open up ways for people to learn and exploit it. So it’s probably not in their best interest. The chips seem reasonably priced, and I was able to get a good amount for about $3 during a sale. There’s only two things that I’d really appreciate if they worked on 1) When people leave the app/go afk there seems to be two countdowns that go off until they auto fold their hand. I think it’d be nice to have something like a “very fast” mode where you time out after the first timer. About every game I get in has someone who’s away and you have to wait half a minute for their turn 2) the bet slider is really hard to work with like other people have said. I’m always hitting the wrong bets when I release my finger Otherwise I’ve been having a lot of fun with this app!.Version: 17.0

What I find frustrating, when you first go on & all these offers are flashing at you, would be nice if you knew what the're for & not sure if it's free or cost $ a like those gifts or expressions. Example: what are the coins used for, their different than chips; which I have many. I looked it up under help & no explanation. There are more examples like that, but let's talk about the more important ones. When you try go play make sure you know which game your in, because it automatically takes you to a table- with your chips & immediately your playing; even if that's a mistake. I wanted poker & it kept taking me to Omaha. When your going to sit & go tourn & you want to play with a friend, there is no way to know if your going to same table; and again if you want to leave you already lost your buy in money. It’s almost as if there is an algorithm that tracks tendency to spend and ensures you deplete your chips. If you previously purchased chips, you’ll probably buy more. ✓ GrestI tried a lot of poker apps and this one has the best interface. It’s really fun and there are always tons of people on so it’s easy to find a game. I saw a lot of comments complaining about the game being rigged but it’s fine, people just don’t accept that even the most unlikely scenarios will happen given enough hands. And cards like 27 offsuit will beat AA about 13% of the time... that’s just poker, the game isn’t designed to give specific players bad beats! How would that even work?? Anyway these aren’t really complaints but some improvements that would make this game even better: 1) the user profile is weirdly useless; it lists the most a player has won in 2 separate places but doesn’t contain any stats on % won/ folded/ etc 2) it only shows cards for the winner. This takes away a lot of the excitement, especially when people go all in. 3) wish we could disable the emoticons, some people never stop pushing them, super annoying 4) would be nice to have a weekly long multi table tournament instead of just quick sit n gos..Version: 16.11

TODAY - February 8th - they took away the 50K buy in tables There is only one reasonable explanation, both of these happened after Apple took them out of searches for both casino and poker. Their cards ARE NOT random- NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY - THEY ARE NOT RANDOM- That’s why Apple took them out of casino and poker searches and because of that they are losing money and are desperate for funds so they have eliminated the low buy in tables in an effort to make people bet more chips and eventually buy more chips.Version: 39.5

I have not purchased any chips and do fairly well. I recieve all kinds of promotions as well. The people that do not do very well at this game are people that don't understand the game. This is a game of chance and not by luck. It is based on game theory which is based on odds or probabilities. They use random generators to simulate actual card dealing. Learn how to place bets that is try to put a chip value to a card. Don't bet like an idiot such as high opening bets. Allow other players in at least on the flop. ✓ Very good game but missing some optionsI lwant it let me to take screenshots, without asking me to save or share to Facebook. I also want to not see confirmation after Screenshot is saved to album. Those prompts are distracting I also want a new feature. I would like to have a button which can capture and save the current set as video. This button should be available at the end of each set so if the set is intrresting for me, I can save it as video to look at it later or show it to someone. I also noticed all tables are in high bet (100k) while until a day ago I was able to play on tables with min 20k. This happened after my total chips went above 30 million.
