Well I came across someone and I thought he was cute and messaged him saying hey :) and it alllll started there. After a few calls I asked to FaceTime to make sure he wasn’t a catfish. Luckily he wasn’t. Eventually We were best friends. Not a day went by where we did not FaceTime. 2 years later we finally met in person and a few days later we started dating. ✓ Good but... 4/5 due to performanceThis seems to have a large base of members in UK. Search options are excellent and can be specified cities. However several users have been 'offering adult services' or only want to chat via WhatsApp. Its affiliated with Skout so most members there can share profiles here. And in my experience have no interest in anything more than 'online' chat if they even chat at all. I will give it 4/5. Presentation is excellent. ✓ A joke!!!!Joined MeetMe yesterday and everything was fine, the site has actually a good format! Came across a few scammers and fake profiles but they were pretty obvious! A few hours later I was logged out and unable to get back in using my login details, emailed the support team to ask what happened and they advised me I violated their terms!! I was in no way inappropriate or did I send anything inappropriate, in fact I blocked someone for sending an inappropriate pic!! I am waiting for them to tell me how I violated their terms (probably be waiting a long time for them to think that up) I’m pretty annoyed to be fair as I read the reviews and this obviously keeps happening!!.Version: 14.32.0
✓ Feels like a trapI signed up with my Facebook and it immediately put my name, age, location, and profile pics. I wasn’t ready for that, because I wanted to get a feel for it first. As a woman, I was bombarded by men, some of which may have been decent people, but most wanting me to meet them before we’d even had a conversation…as in, “can you come to my place right now?” What is this, a trafficking site? Some were the usual disgusting advances or questions you’d expect from the gutters these men must’ve come from. I also got some messages from women, that were clearly not regular ol’ ladies looking to make a connection, but accounts with someone trying to get money. And a big percentage of the men would ask me if I was real…so it seems like a very small handful of regular people drowning in a cesspool of low class trash trying men to get their weinies wet, and women trying to make money off of those men..Version: 14.40.0

✓ Has become less accessible over timeI’ve been an off and on member of this app for several years now, and i’ve never had this issue before I use a setting called VoiceOver that helps me navigate my device due to the fact that I’m completely blind, and for some reason, it does not want to navigate the screen whenever I try and login or sign up this issue never occurred back in 2018 when I was using this app on my original iPad but I’ve noticed overtime not just with this app but with other apps that the VoiceOver setting doesn’t work as well as it used to with these types of apps I would love for this to be updated or looked at because I do enjoy talking to the genuine people that I do find on here if this was able to be fixed, I would give this app five stars.Version: 14.61.0

✓ Thankful For This AppWhile I discontinued utilizing this app post coming into contact with someone , I can say that it was legitimate with the few weeks I had it . I met the most amazing , articulate, amazing , drop dead gorgeous woman on here back in 2015. Had it not been for us matching on the MeetMe we would not know each other today. This app served as a lifeline for our initial meeting and soon we will be coming together within the next few months ! <3 . ✓ Efficient App for People of the LGBT Community!I haven’t had any problems with this app that I normally wouldn’t have with any other social media. There’s the great and there’s the bad! It started in 2014, I was 16 and bored from a surgery. Meet me was practically entertainment to my best friend and I. To some friends we even made it a joke. We’d talk to people just to get outside of our small town. Then, I stumbled upon him. My husband to be. He messaged me and fate began. Meet me introduced the greatest thing in my life hands down, the guy that has taken care of me and stood by me through 6 surgeries. Fully supported me while I got on my feet from post op recoveries. I waited on him though basic training and we dated for 4 years before finally getting married. I think back to how fortunate we were on an app that you start think is not worth the time. It was. You never know what you might stumble upon. I was extremely fortunate and couldn’t be happier with our life we’ve made together. By 21 and 20 we had a remodeled house and 3 dogs and good jobs with starts to our lives. We took such a chance thanks to this app. We fell in love with strangers. Didn’t even meet for a while due to still being kids. For our lucky story, after waiting due to age and circumstances, and all and catfish fears no matter what. Having no clue how to speak Spanish fluently I looked for someone who had some knowledge of English. Low and behold 2 weeks within using the app, I accidentally get a recommendation of a guy who supposedly was in my city but instead the app hadn’t updated to his current hometown which was 8 hours away (driving). Well, long story short, after being cautious yet still curious and finally 6 months later of only writing to the guy we finally met and months later officially dated. ✓ Massive issuesI love this app been on for years but the live feature is having massive issues for the passed month there’s been intermittent problems with lives just ending after a minute and not being able to get onto other users lives this has been since POF joined the live platform . ✓ 0% EntertainmentLike many applications that have a failing consumer base, this app fails to deliver a constant feel good atmosphere and lacks in having a welcoming enthusiasm. Seems to run off of its members and less on actual management. Ran a test running through it’s “Lives” and found 90% of them filled with absolutely rude streamers and “viewers.” I didnt even have to stay in one lobby for over two minutes and i was suspended for a “language” complaint, which occurred by biased viewers wanting unwanted company out of the session. Obviously more excessive than necessary where a kick even then would have been seen more appropriate. The fact that this site hands so much power to it’s users alone is an insult to a social media consumer, and should be taken seriously viewing other social applications.
