✓ Great content. Search function could use a little workAccess to so much of the phish library including side projects is fantastic. Browsing works well. When using the search feature songs need to be spelled correctly and sometimes that doesn’t work. It would help if there was some predictive text that could fill in some of the titles. ✓ RecommendationsThe browse option is hard to use it doesn’t refresh to the show u last clicked on so if I go to 2003 click on a show t brings me back to the top and I have to re a roll down and remember the date of the last show to get to the next also a listened show history would be nice so you know what you have listened to already. Also more shows from trey band in 2005 and 2006 would be nice also some more g r a b shows would be amazing to have.Version: 3.3.5
✓ 2020 ReviewThis app is extremely easy to navigate. Searching by year, venue, or track is very robust and thorough. Sound quality is great, downloading is quick and easy. ✓ Phish!!!!Such a great time listening to these beats by page to acoustic live performances by trey that ignite the senses. Willing to breath in the air of a magic we as a people are unlikely to ever see again. That’s where I’m at right now in my musical journey. ✓ A must haveThis app and membership for $10/month is worth it. It is great having this entire catalogue at your fingertips. My one problem, when you close it and come back a couple hours later it loses your place. Nothing worse than being mid jam or show and not being able to finish it out or have to remember where you were or what show it was. If the app wasn’t so amazing in every other aspect this would cost my review to drop to a 3 star. I really hope this gets fixed..Version: 3.3.6
✓ Amazing appI gotta start off my saying that I have been a subscriber for years and I’ve seen this app come a long way in that time. I very rarely have any technical issues with and I love being able to listen to phish shows and follow the tour using this app. Just a few feature suggestions I think would make this app even better are 1) Please get rid of the status wheel and use a status bar instead while listening to tracks. Scrubbing to a certain point in a track is very difficult on the wheel, especially if you’re trying to get to a specific point in a 20+ minute track. 2) Please, please add a native CarPlay interface for browsing the library through the screen in the car instead of having to pick up my phone and do it while driving. There’s a lot to go through on this app and it’s not the safest thing to browse in the car. I use this app in the car a lot and not only would it make the app safer but it would also make the experience more streamlined. Overall though I absolutely can not live without this app and I praise the developers for all the amazing work. ✓ Read the Ph*#king BoodGood for all ages, yes indeed...even your children are old enough to read Icculus! This is an essential part of life. I enjoy this app each and every day, a couple hours after we get to the hotel motel Holiday Inn...or the next morning. I take it for Long Beach’s on the walks. ✓ Heady jamz at my fingertipsHad a library of cd’s, got jacked from my car. Had a hard drive of old shows, that I can’t listen to on my phone. I decided to turn to the cloud for instant access to the headiest of jamz (Tahoe tweezer, superball Gin, everything Bakers Dozen). Can download for offline (ie flights back east cause phish hates west coast sometimes). Highly recommend this, unless you’re a dusty wook and can’t afford, then just get a job cause this app is a game changer. Take more of my money Phish!.Version: 3.3.14

✓ Frustrating and annoyingLove all these shows, but no matter how many times I delete and redownload the app, it never remembers what song I was last playing. Half the time, the current shows are out of order. I try to play the shows on any Apple device and it constantly stops between each song when playing a show. Sometimes I pause a song, come back in two minutes and it already forgets where I was in the song. For a paid service, it sure doesn’t get updated and bugs never get fixed..Version: 3.3.14

✓ 5 stars before updateI’m upset there is no more option for the navigation circle that was default within the app before. I could select the point in the song horizontally via the Lock Screen. I’d be fine without the navigation circle if there was a 15 or 30 second skip option. Keep in mind Phish jams are LONG and the best time stamps are noted. Harder to use..Version: 4.1.1
✓ This app is better than ever. And I got it right when it came out.I’m loving my LivePhish app. Sick jams and all the shows the next day. It’s groovy and awesome. I like to hear the shows, to see the shows, to be at the shows. Phish is cooler than all these smartphones and modern junk. ✓ Almost perfectWorks great and is a very, very solid app. Giving it 4 stars because it would definitely be a better one if it had CarPlay integration and it does not. ✓ Amazing concept, subpar executionThe ability to access every phish show in 3.0 era digitally is incredible. Sound quality is as expected, archival releases are awesome, but unfortunately it’s all shadowed by a poor app platform. The app is missing some key features that one would expect from a music service. I pay a fair amount of money for this and have high expectations. ✓ Must have for any Phan!!Thanks Phish! I've had a monthly subscription for years, don't know what I'd do without it. I've never experienced any problems, not sure why so many 1 star reviews. Only suggestion would be an update to include ability to select multiple tracks from show to add to playlist without having to add each track individually. Listen to the latest show, updated daily when on tour. Also 5 full shows available for stream, usually a mixed variety of 80s, 90s, 2000s. Plus access to anything youve ever purchased from live phish or new inapp purchases. An absolute bargain. Occasional MINOR glitches are no big deal. ✓ Live Phish Rules!As someone who grew up with Phish copying set lists in the parking lot, then spending months trying to find, then trade, or doing blanks and postage to get the show, LivePhish is a dream. My favorite thing is all the shows I go to are in My Stash. And I love being able to pull up other shows, (though they are still missing a lot of great shows) and creating my own playlists..Version: 3.4.10
✓ Needs more updatesNew upgrade didn’t help much at all even after uninstalling. Songs stop either 30secs or 1 min into song selection, car play isn’t worth much at all either, If I can actually get the app rolling I’m over listening to phish at that point. $20 month HiFi subscription cancelled until they can get it together over at LP. ✓ Requires log in when offlineI’ve been very happy with this app for a long time. But recently it has been requiring a log in when offline while I’m trying to access music I’ve downloaded for offline listening. Which is basically the only reason I bother paying for the service. ✓ Dangerous & Over-Priced!This app continues to frustrate me. It is going to kill someone some day. Not kidding. It is impossible to get it to respond when disconnecting from home to car. This is where the danger lies. You will spend the first five minutes (on average) in your car trying to get it to respond to the new environment. It simply refuses to play seamlessly. Any other music carting app works seamlessly and flawlessly - as they should. Want another gripe? Sure! I have one: Neil Young only charges $20 a year for his app! He has as much content as this app and charges a fraction of the price! I love The Phish but am cautious when using this cash-grabbing, dangerous platform!.Version: 3.4.1
✓ Very buggyI love the music but the app doesn’t work great. Music very often stops playing for no reason and must be restarted. Sometime latest shows don’t show up and need to be specifically searched for and sometime the search function doesn’t work either. Should be much better imo.Version: 3.3.18
✓ Great content and it works well but…Can’t beat the access to content. What I wish… is that I had better options for downloading. Basically I got the HiFi membership but I discovered that when I download for offline it takes up to much room on my phone. It’d be nice to have control over the download size. I do enough driving with no or marginal cell coverage that I need to listen to it offline. As nice as the HiFi is for streaming at home- I won’t get it again unless I can download the lowfi smaller files..Version: 4.0.3
✓ Love the band, dislike the appLet me be clear, I love Phish. They are far and away my favorite band. That said, this app is kind of a nightmare. It's gotten better over time, but there are still tons of bugs. Sometimes it quits playing after a track is over. Sometimes it'll lose your place on the app when you lock your phone. There are other issues too, but those are the primary ones that came to mind. Still, it's wonderful to have near instant access to all the new shows as well as the past official releases and tours. New tracks will occasionally start a couple minutes into a song. They’ll also play like a sample, fading in and playing for like 30 seconds, then fading out. ✓ Great content, OK appIf you love Phish and their side acts, you will really like subscribing to their service. I’ll be honest, the app should be better. It has improved over time, but the controls are awkward… like if you tap the “previous” button in almost any music player while you’re in the middle of a track, you are brought to the beginning of the track. In this app, you are brought to the beginning of the *previous* track. The whole playlist creation workflow is awkward, too. ✓ Great app!This app is awesome! The interface is intuitive and beautiful—I love seeing the artwork for the different shows while I listen. It’s also very easy to access recent shows and to explore past concerts, especially with the “Featured” tab. While the app was a little glitchy when I started using it a year ago, recent updates have done a great job of fixing the bugs. I find that it almost always runs smoothly now, and this app is definitely my go-to for streaming music. For example, if I’m listening to a song and I want to google the lyrics, when I navigate to mobile safari, playback pauses until I go back to the LP app. When driving, if I got to the maps app for directions, playback pauses. ✓ Pretty good overall, could be great with tweaksI love that I can listen to nearly any Phish show in high quality through this app, and overall the app is good. However, some improvements are needed to make this a truly great app, including: - remembering where you left off, even if it’s been a few hours or days since listening. This is my biggest complaint, as it’s not always obvious which show I was listening to last, and it’s annoying and time consuming to have to bring the show back up. - improved playback performance over Bluetooth and WiFi speakers (occasionally the playing just stops, and I’ll need to manually resume or play the next song). - ability to review or tag shows in some way, either just for personal viewing or for the community at large. - more videos!! - and finally, a built in sleep timer would be nice so I don’t have to use the iOS timer. ✓ When love is infuriatingI DO Love this app. That being said, it might be more dangerous (to my wellbeing) than Wilson and his men on multi-beasts. Seriously if you try to even attempt to playback a show that you haven’t “saved off-line” and happen to be driving at the same time. Frustration takes over and driving suddenly takes a backseat to reloading, closing, starting over, searching, and possibly throwing said phone out the window. It works great off Wi-Fi... no issues whatsoever, and the HD is man-i-fic! Outside of Wi-Fi? You have a better chance of getting a song from a mockingbird tied up with glue and rubber bands. UNLESS! You save some shows off-line, and boot up the app while in range of your Wi-Fi. Then you can listen to ANY of the 10 or so shows you chose from the ENTIRE released catalog. ✓ Love LPLove LivePhish, but I do have issues with the app and AirPlaying to an airport. The app will play one song and then pause or something and I will have to go open the app and hit play again. Repeat. Does this whether songs are being listen to directly from the app or downloaded to the phone. Only does this when AirPlaying my airport but not other AirPlay or blue tooth devices. ✓ Worth itThis app is great! Little to no issues or glitches. Definitely no more than any other app I use. I also use the live phish+ site on my computer at work. That site is flawless...nice work fellas. My advice is fork out the 10 bucks and support a band you love. Ive been digging the 90’s soundboards that have been released lately. Keep those coming! The recently added video feature is a nice upgrade and I’m going to use the app to airplay the webcast on my Apple TV tonight. This is the true test 😉. Update: The app worked perfectly using airplay to my Apple TV! The quality was exceptional! I could even use other apps on my phone while the airplay feature was on. ✓ The never ending Phish showI love the Live Phish app although it’s weighted to the recent years (2002-present). The app is quite skimpy on the early classic years (80s and 90s). Where’s Clifford Ball and Big Cypress? Amy’s Farm 91? Oswego 99....Besides that, there’s countless hours of great music. And I do continue to utilize the free options, such as featured shows and Live Phish radio. I always tune into the radio on my iPad. The sound quality of the tracks is never less than stellar. You can listen all night and day. It’s like listening to the never ending Phish show..Version: 3.3.6

One problem I notice is that if I’m in the middle of a song/show and have to stop listening, the app needs to restart itself when I come back to it and I need to refund my place. ✓ Absolutely love this app, AppleTV version needs some workThe iPhone version is great, I have no complaints. However it bugs me that the AppleTV version has no way to scrub through songs and doesn’t show where you’re at in a song. It is a hassle if I am looking to listen to one part of jam and can’t scrub through. Also, I have an issue where if I view the show notes, there is no way to close the notes window. ✓ The Phish TV ShowSuggestion: It would be so cool if there could be a Video Rental Store section on the app where it would be possible to choose from many (any?) older shows to rent for a 24 or 48 hour period, somewhere in the $2.99 to $4.99 range. Furthermore, as we go ahead and get this thing going, it would be awesome to KEEP the set break in the video rental because I consider the break to be a part of the whole transcendent sound experience. ✓ Great Music, Slow LoadsPhish's music and the availability of most shows is the main reason to have this app. Everything at your fingertips. The downside, just like Nugs, is how slow the load time can be. When compared to competitors like Pandora, the load time to start a show/song seems much longer than it should be. Not sure what the deal is with this, but there is a definite lag. When I choose something on Pandora it starts almost immediately. Outside of that, solid platform..Version: 3.4.12

I would really like to get more playback options like a multi-band eq as well. Just found out Spotify has got one.
