✓ Unauthorized App UploadsWhen operating my iPad device, I usually check my app updates quite frequently. When needed, I always input my password however now apps would automatically update without my authorization. Verified my settings in ensuring that automatic uploads were deactivated. Not sure if anyone has been experiencing similar issues. Been tracking all interactions to ensure my account nor my device were compromised. ✓ Beware of trade in offerThe process for buying a phone is easy. You pay full price for the phone, and they give you a trade offer based on your description of your current phone. Apple makes is easy to return your phone back for a trade in. The problem comes when you receive the email AFTER they have your old phone. They automatically reduce your trade value to a lessor amount. When you decline, they ship your old phone back, but it may arrive in a damaged condition. Now I have my old phone back in a condition that is not worth reselling. Save yourself the time and trouble and just throw your old phone in the trash (after you deletes it contents of course)..Version: 5.18
✓ Apple charging my account way more than they shouldI have had a continuous problem with Apple over charging and charging me for apps and in app purchases that are free and for purchases I haven't even made! And when I have purchased something within an app I get charged 100 times more than what the actual amount of the purchase is suppose to be! And now I can't even update any of the apps on my iPhone 14 pro max bc I have to have a method of payment on my account and it's ridiculous bc the apps are free play and free to download! ✓ NOT HAPPY AT ALL!I have been told not to allow my old phone to accept software updates. After the relentless pop ups asking for the software updates, (and much to my hesitation) I did…and yes my phone, that I really liked a lot, and that was in perfect condition, crashed. And guess what… this multimillion dollar company has no one that is able to fix my phone! They offered to mail it off (for over $300) but no guarantee it could be fixed. If by chance they could fix it, it would be wiped clean and I’d loss everything anyway. So it worked, let the software updates happen and we crash your phone, and your are forced to buy a new one now! They refused to replace the battery even though I have been paying apple care plus for many years. ✓ NOT WORTH ITI sent my phone in for a repair 3 months ago due to the back glass being broken. Apple decided to send a refurbished phone back to me, and everything was all good. Within a couple weeks I noticed the screen felt like it was moving every once in a while, but I sometimes get vertigo and dismissed it as my eyes were just not focusing. Lately my phone has been randomly going black while watching TikTok videos, and today I took my case off to inspect the phone to see what the heck was going on. I immediately noticed the entire bottom glass of the phone was out of the phones frame and resting on my pinky. I tried to press the glass back in, but it just partially pops back out. I have been paying for insurance on this phone, and 4 others for years and have only had 1 incident. (Back glass broke.) The cost is $15 per device/month. And $1200 for each iPhone. My iPhone that apple sent to me as a replacement lasted 3 months before the screen fell out of the frame, and is making me pay $100 again for them to actually fix the problem this time. ✓ The Apple Store won't let me buy an Apple Watch with my Apple ID balanceI am very disappointed that Apple does not give me an electronic device on the app store for my savings which is on the ID balance. I purchased 19 Gift Cards worth $460 to purchase an Apple Watch in the future and activate it on the same day to complete the purchase. I have all receipts and cards confirming the purchase of the Gift Card in stores. Apple offers the consumer when buying a GIF Card to make purchases in the App Store purchased MacBook phone iPad Apple Watch headphones. But in reality this is not the case. Apple blocks device purchases but allows subscriptions. I trusted this company and was disappointed in it because it deceived me. I spent a lot of time talking with operators who each time they transferred me to another operator, I changed five operators in 2 hours of conversation and none of them solved this problem. I drove up to the official Apple store and they didn’t help me there either, they gave me a phone number and said call the customer service in the same place where I called all this time..Version: 5.19.1

The date of the deliver my currier called me when outside and I missed him call. I called him back while he was still on sit but he had told me he cancelled and could no longer deliver my items. He told me to call apple. I called apple and was told the order wasn’t cancelled yet just rejected by courier and told me he can do something on his end. I then called courier back to be told he can’t do anything to call apple. I called apple again to be told the order is now officially cancelled and to wait up to 5 business days for my refund and to replace my order (when the next delivery date won’t be till after Christmas). ✓ Total disappointmentApple really need to review their ordering and delivery process! Ordered new iPhone 15 Pro Max with expected delivery date a couple of days before the end of my 11 night holiday abroad. No problem I thought. Then delivery date was brought forward to a week before I was due to return. Then DPD attempt to deliver the day after I left! They failed then tried again the following day so I looked at options. Deliver a £1,300 phone to the next door neighbour who had just moved in? Well not really as I thought that was a big responsibility so opted to Deliver to a DPD pickup point. Only AFTERWARDS I was told I had to collect within 7 days or it would be returned to the warehouse. From abroad I repeatedly tried to sort it with Apple or DPD but was unsuccessful. It got worse! I took out Barclays finance and now am told I have missed a payment and it will affect my credit rating for something I never received despite Apple assuring me that had sorted it. Never again! Barclays are being very good about it and I have confidence they will sort it whereas I have no confidence in Apple or their delivery company DPD so will stick with my iPhone 13 now for the foreseeable and won’t be ordering again from this App.Version: 5.21

✓ Apple account balance is uselessUnprofessional Apple staff and DO NOT deposit your Apple gift card balance into your Apple account. I was told I could use my Apple account balance to pay for my iPhone repair, but when it was done the second day, I was told I couldn't pay from my Apple account balance. However, I could have paid for the repair if I hadn't deposited my Apple gift card balance into my account. And eventually, I paid by my own credit card and left the Apple account balance unused. In short, once you deposit your gift card into your Apple account balance, it will have very limited usage. You can't use it combined with installment, can't use it for repair. ✓ On Hold for One HourApple issued me a gift card and placed it in my Apple wallet. I tried several times to use it in the Apple Store app. It didn’t work. I called using the app. I was transferred to four different people none of whom would fix the issue or refund my money. Most of them did not even bother to explain the issue to the next person to whom they transferred me. Everyone I talked to could see that the card was valid and that I had a credit, but no one could make it work and no one would refund the money. Finally, I was transferred to a line where no one picked up. (I know I sound mad right now. I am. But I was very patient and nice—at least for the first hour I was on the phone.) ✓ Bad Apple serviceI am Apple loyal client for years but my recent experience with Apple service was horrible. I bought a Beats Flex and it died suddenly. I brought it to an Apple Store and they sent it to service. A few days later they told me that a mesh inside is missing and refused to service it unless I pay $59 (the headset itself is sold for $69 and you can buy it for $39 at BestBuy). It is ridiculous that I have no reason to open the earpiece to remove a mesh. They were not any reasonable in listening to me but insisted if I do not pay, they will not fix it, although they admitted the issue was with the bad battery. ✓ Good but not greatI always use this when I buy something from Apple but ordering the new iPhone 14 was a disaster as the app refused to make a preorder due to a wrong phone number (or format). Missed all the slots available at the store to pick it up on the day of the release because of this fault. Went to the actual Apple store to get help and even they couldn’t make it work and place an order. Now that preorders are more or less done, it has no issue accepting the same phone number and format that I was trying to put in for another purchase. This app for me is for some reason signed in with my iCloud Apple ID, but I use a separate Apple ID for App Store and purchases, and this is also the primary Apple ID I use for purchases from the Apple Store. There appears to be no way for me to sign out of the Apple Store app, with out completely signing out of all the Apple ID's (including iCloud) that I'm signed into in Settings, which is a huge waste of time. And I don't even know that if I do this, that when I want to sign back in, that I can some how get the Apple Store app to recognise the Apple ID that I want, and not my iCloud Apple ID. That didn’t happen, but was fine with the $2.99 MONTHLY subscription only to be charged for the YEAR. For those like me who use a separate ID for iCloud and one for iTunes, App Store, and the Apple Store, you now can’t see any of your prior purchases or favourites, and the charges will go to your main account not any other. Really annoying change and you can’t undo it. The app says to use a different Apple ID, just go to Settings and log out. Learning German is good it teaches you how to speak and read it easily eg;- Meine mutter und mein vater- bu5 learning Japanese is quite hard like on the the first ever lesson I had was Japanese and it was (and still is) only teaching you how to write it. And it teaches you kanji and expects you to remember it! (For people that don’t know kanji is the hardest Japanese alphabet to learn) I’m on unit two in Japanese and tbh I just spent like Half and hour crying about how it was so overwhelming anyway would not recommend for learning Japanese.Version: 5.17
✓ DO NOT BUY AIRPODSTo everyone reading this, DO NOT BUY AIRPODS. They work well and they are easy to use, but there are 2 crazy problems: 1. Price 2. Battery The AirPods are just WAY too expensive, especially the $249 AirPods Pro, and you won't even feel the difference in the more expensive AirPods. The AirPods 2 are only $129, but they are STILL not worth buying, especially if there's wired earbuds for $15. I know a lot of people would NEVER use wired earbuds, but they're really not that bad. The wire really makes no difference and is exaggerated by everyone and your phone is always on you, so Bluetooth doesn't matter. The battery is also awful on the AirPods. I have the AirPods 2, but I use wired earbuds and Beats Studio3 instead, since the battery is COMPLETELY false-advertised and it only lasts 20 minutes. The case has plenty of battery and I never have problems with it, but it is REALLY annoying to keep putting the AirPods back in the case every 20 minutes. My favorite alternatives to this are wired earbuds if you're in public and Sony wireless headphones when you're at home. The technology for wireless earbuds are at least 5 years too early and I really don't recommend buying any..Version: 5.17

I called Apple support and the person was very polite but also unhelpful, they tried but they must’ve been taught what to do.
