✓ One of the best iOS games!!!This game is by far one of the most fun games I have ever played on iOS. The npcs are smart, the controls are smooth and everything is done so well. But there are some things that I would like to see in a future update. - some sort of multiplayer. This game is awesome. But it would be better if there was a multiplayer mode to play with some friends. Even if it was a death match mode. - more weapons. I like the weapons in the game. They are so well balanced. But more weapons would be cool to see. Maybe an explosive of some sort like a rocket launcher or grenade launcher. - new features. What I mean by new features is some small things that make the game more interesting. Things like bullet drop and bullet time, weapon attachments or even tactical equipment to use. It does need an update though, like the rest of the reviews some water hazards would be good like crocs and some water dinos. ✓ Great hunting gameI finnaly found a decent, self navigating hunting game. The design is great cool maps and i love the real life effects of dieing and getting eaten mabey have an option to make it more gorey. Being able to swim in and even under water is ingenious. Make water animals such as crocodiles for swamps. plus you should be able to get at least one point from killing the animals that you don't get points from right now such as those flying things. you should make customizeable weapons. One thing that bugs me though is the AI for the dinosaurs. They are rather stupid at times And can"t come down cliffs. Make more lava on maps. Mabey a new expert map that has mostly lava covering the ground with an active volcano. Tree stands should be in the game. Make it so you can actually see the arrow or a bullet hole in a tree or wherever. There should also be vital organs that are prime targets besides the head. very good hunting game. ✓ Love Carnivores except for 1 thing.I’m pretty sure a T-Rex wasn’t actually invulnerable to fatal wounds but for a piercing shot through an eye. That’s a bit of a stretch and pretty silly limitation. Considering the sniper rifles very limited zoom, poor optics and no ability to calm the shooter down to reduce sway it’s even sillier. If the purpose is to make it an ultimate challenge and prize at least make it a little less ridiculous like say how about a head shot or heart shot as well. I know it’s not impossible to kill a T-Rex now! I’ve done it 3 times, but at considerable effort and several deaths. That all said, and considering the various mobile devices Carnivores is developed to run on I have no other serious gripes. The new grass is really nice, and the reskins have added much needed improvements to keep up with more modern iPads. There is room to improve still such as how the dino’s can suddenly change direction in an instant where they should at least have to slow a little bit first before changing direction so dramatically, especially the larger ones. The results have said “more are coming!” for quite a while, and nothing has changed. Shame because I love this game! ✓ Still holds up!I got this game when I was a little kid on my dads phone and after revisiting it now, it still holds up for me! The graphics are still pretty decent for a tablet game and I like the difficulty you can set for it by not using certain abilities and getting more money for it. The only thing holding this game back for me is an exploit one can do with the T-Rex where you relocate right next to it; the problem is that the coding for the T-Rex forces it to pause and sniff the air every time a player is near, meaning I can respawn right next to it and shoot it in the eye with a pistol, exploiting the game and ho much money one gets. Add some more dinosaurs, like some underwater and flying creatures. Add some more terrain, make it more realistic. Like, for example, in the streets of London or a deserted school or something. ✓ Weight problemsI have a Carnosaurus standing next to an Armargosaurus in my trophy room. It's about the same length as the Armargosaurus, and looks about 3 times stockier. Yet while the Armargosaurus weight 8 tonnes, the Carnosaurus weighs 1.75. I believe a similar problem exists with the Gigantoraptor too. ✓ Updates to the gameI reckon there should be a part were you can tranquilize herbivores and train them so you can ride them around and go faster. You should be able to train the dinosaurs that you can kill but they don't count as points and they help you on hunting against other animals and you can fly around on the flying dinosaurs to train them you tranquilize them and then click ride they wake up and you ride them or you can choose to display them. Another thing is you should be able to see your carnivores in trophies in cages when you tranquilize them like on jarrastic park they scratch at the the glass and the herbivores eat grass. Dimetrodon, which is seen in the game alongside the dinosaurs was actually an early reptile that lived 50 million years before the first dinosaurs. Also Spinosaurus and Allosaurus are far too small. If you watch Walking with Dinosaurs and Planet Dinosaur you will find all the information to make this more scientifically accurate. The other thing is that there are no animals that live in the water. Archelon, Cryptoclydus, Liopleurodon, Opthalmosaurus, Halinosaurus, Hesperonis, Elasmosaurus, Tylosaurus and Xiphactinus to name a few. There should also be crocodiles in the inland lakes. Please just fix the bug, and you're customers will come back, AND your ratings will go up. I'm certain that customers will not buy this app after seeing how LITTLE stars it has, and after reading all these comments. I was shocked after reading a comment that a little boy was in tears after spending his pocket money on the app and not being able to play it. This app is usually fantastic, I stopped playing it as it got boring, and when I saw the new update I got excited, and knew I would play it again, but this crashing at startup has let me down. Now, almost a decade later and they are still pushing out big updates? Are you kidding me??? Seriously kudos to this amazing team for their dedication and loyalty to the fans of their game. Honestly one of the best games I've played on the app store, a lot of content and a lot of thrill. Whether your a 12 year old kid or a 20 year old, this game never gets boring.
