✓ Best app for chatting everMuch better then the apple voice message as on Voxer you can listen to the other person take real time(not wait for them to send) and reply when done or pause there talking and send a message first then listen to there messages after. Love it. Works great in Alberta but for some reason talking from Alberta to British Columbia where my brother works the app is slow to deliver and won’t notify him. ✓ Great idea but needs developmentI love the apps idea. It has already caught on with a few of my friends. Saves time from texting and saves money from redundant phone calls. Great for arranging activities. The bad side is that the app feels a bit unresponsive at times. The audio codec can be terrible to the point of inaudible sound. Furthermore, there a few weird qwerks to the app such as it playing everything when you click to replay one. I would love it to feel more "live" that text. It's hardly a replacement walkie talkie but certainly a good app..Version: 2.7.5

✓ Tremendous App!I love this app! I’ve used it for years now and don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve tried Zello and find Voxer to be far superior. One underrated benefit of Voxer is you can still have pleasant conversations in areas with poor signals. Just record the message and when you are back in range in automatically uploads. This is way better than the, “can you hear me now?” frustrations of dropped calls. As an over-the-road truck driver I have that situation frequently. If you are having trouble connecting, I suggest closing GPS apps such as Google Maps. They seem to hog resources wheb network is struggling and interferes with Voxer. Suggested improvements: > Tap to talk should be default. I don’t know of anyone who actually prefers to hold the button. > Have setting option so messages do not automatically play one after the other. I would prefer to manually press play for each one. > Allow setting to pick preferred Bluetooth device—e.g. I want Voxer to use my headset only and never play over my vehicle’s speaker. I am constantly having to switch it back. Anyway, this is still a five star app. I have zero affiliation with Voxer but feel much of the criticism in the reviews are iOS issues out of Voxer’s control..Version: 3.21.29

✓ Problems with app over last few days…Thanks for responding and getting things fixed with the app. This is a lifeline for me with a few close friends. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have it! Anyone else having issues with Voxer lately?! The app is closing, logging me out, not recording messages, showing all of my previous messages/recordings just as ‘sent’ instead of ‘delivered’ or marked as they have been heard. I also have 3 recordings from someone that I have not listened to, and there’s no notification for those. I’ve tried all the normal steps of closing the app, logging out, reinstalling. ✓ Amazing Customer ServiceMy best friend passed 6 years ago, and I’ve been missing him a lot lately... well, when I went into my Facebook messages I realized we used Voxer a bit for conversations as well. I redownloaded my app, and found his voice again after 6 years!! It was such a beautiful and warming moment to finally hear him again. I went back into the app the next day, and the recordings were gone. (No voxer pro) and I didn’t realize that they automatically deleted... I emailed Voxer Support and they got my recordings of my best friend’s voice back to me... I can never put into words how much it means to me to now have his voice forever again. To say the customer support there is amazing is an understatement.. thank you so so much again. ❤️.Version: 3.22.1

✓ Best app everThis app is amazing. I’ve been using it for years and years and it’s the number one way I communicate with my friends. We vox each other all day long. In the car, during work breaks, on walks. It’s a beautiful way to connect and it’s pretty much free therapy. Just make sure when you download the app to press the setting so you don’t have to hold down the button to talk. ✓ Love this appI love this app. I live on the other side of the world to my family but I can still send a messages with me talking (or text or picture) and vice Versa at any time of the day so that we can hear each other’s voices but don’t need to be awake at precisely the same time. My ONE suggestion to take this app to the next level would be the choice to turn off notifications for selected hours. ✓ My heroFor any of you who have loved ones abroad this Is a life saver I have friends family around America, the caribbean an Argentina. Spoke with my dad briefly in Thailand this morning and was crystal clear reception. Could do with something to show when the other person is talking as we kept talking over eachother and then having to play the audio which by then the conversation had moved on slightly. Every once in a while I’ll get a ghost notification, but I can eventually get it to go away by marking “all as heard”. Voxer is like having message service, but better. Retrieve your voice messages when you want, or, if you're both online, hold a 'chat' that actually fits the description of 'chat'... Obviously it is only useful around wifi areas but with more hotspots becoming available this shouldn't leave you too long to pick up your messages. ✓ Voxer is greatVoxer is one of my favourite apps! It’s great even if you don’t get the Voxer pro. Although it can be really annoying sometimes if you scroll up to see your previous messages it glitches and when you try to scroll back down again it won’t work so you have to restart your device a couple of times. And the volume is an issue too, I have got woken up at like 3 in the morning to someone messaging me and I can’t find a solution to it. Although there are some small problems I would still recommend this app to use 👍🏻👍🏻.Version: 3.21.39

My clients love having direct access to me and the voice feature allows them to practice parts of their speech with me and get feedback. I’m able to coach my clients through obstacles. ✓ FantasticBeen using Voxer for what must be nearly 10 years now. Got friends, colleagues, teams on it. The key think is to enable tap to talk in settings so you don’t have to hold the speak button n just tap on and tap off when finished. Just one suggestion to the developers. The little arrow playback button is far too small. Plus anyone texting you back it’s far too small to read. Make the text iMessage size and increase that playback button and you’ll have a killer..Version: 3.23.5

✓ Good/Bad ---Better(fixed)Less than 24 hrs after posting the content below the glitch mentioned got fixed. Gotta rate that! It's the only one that doesn't force you to give it access to your contacts (although it still prompts) so that's a huge plus, but sometime recently (iOS8?) the text functionality got badly screwed. You get a one line box to type multi line messages and backspace does a weird thing that makes the text field move up to, then past the top of the screen. You can get around it by typing in Notes and pasting into Voxer but a fix ought to be easy enough..Version: 3.5.0

✓ Just MarvelousThere was Heytell & Viber which both still exist but Voxer just takes it to the next level. ✓ It just stopped working on me todayHey Voxer team, Voxer has been good to me for a few years now but as of a few minutes ago it is unresponsive, buggy and glitching. Just before that happened when I’d listen to a vox sent my way, after a few seconds, it would play in super slow mo. I turned off my phone waited and turned it back on again but it didn’t work, the. ✓ Great app!I have only good things to say about Voxer. It is very user friendly and intuitive. I am in conversations with people all over the States and in Australia. ✓ Infrequent Usage.I love this app. I’ve also had phantom notifications, but that happens with quite a few apps in the last 12 months, which leads me to simply shut off all notifications from the Settings section of my phone. That’s not a solution if you don’t want to manually check constantly for new vox communications. For my part-time voxing life, it works. I own two companies and have a handful of personal connections that all use Voxer to chat randomly. For most business these days, Slack, iMessage, and other apps seem to be more efficient at urgent requests. For casual infrequent talks, Voxer is still a favorite pastime and I do subscribe to their Pro annual licensing. I think it makes sense to keep your messages indefinitely if you live in overwhelm and brain fog..Version: 3.22.17

✓ Needs buttons labeled for voice over.Love this app but for the sake of you vision impaired users who use voiceover you need to label you buttons so that people know what button they are on.
