✓ Good infoDespite being billed as a "condensed" reference, it is surprisingly comprehensive (e.g. it has a section on prox tib/fib dislocations; I'm pretty sure most people forget this even exists). I agree with one of the other reviews, this app could benefit from the judicious addition of more images but I believe the apparent accuracy and comprehensiveness of the information warrants the cost. Ideal for ortho professionals (who need a quick reference) and other inquisitive MSK healthcare providers (who are looking to learn)..Version: 0

✓ BEST ORTHO TRAUMA MOBILE REFERENCE EVERThis App is THE best Ortho Trauma app that has ever been created period. I have been traveling to work for years, and this app so far surpasses anything else out there, that it is not even a race. It is well arranged, concise, accurate, and complete. I cannot even think of a way to improve on it; it’s just that good. When this APP quit working because it needed to be upgraded to the new iOS, I tried to replace it and searched everything available. I bought 6 or 7 APPs that were a waste of time and money. ✓ Fast and so simple to useI’ve been looking for an app like this for quite some time. As a physical therapist at an academic trauma center, I treat a wide variety of ortho patients. Despite my 11 years of experience, it’s not uncommon for me to encounter some rare injury pattern or a treatment I'm not familiar with. I can’t tell you how nice it is to finally have an ortho trauma app on my phone. No more running to a computer to sift through internet sites or journal articles when all I need is some basic information. Granted, there’s some stuff here that PTs probably won’t need but I’m an inquisitive lady--I’d rather have a little more than less. I've also found that it helps me communicate with the docs better. ✓ From an ortho residentAs an orthopedic surgery resident, this is the single best ortho application for the iPhone/iPod. It is very thorough, from a brief overview of the fracture/dislocation to classification to film to treatment. In essence, this app is handbook of fractures in your pocket. Recommended for medical students, residents, attendings or anyone who would love to learn more about this great field of medicine. It is very well organized, with smooth transition between subjects. One thing they could add (wishful thinking) would be a small question bank with OITE type questions. Either way, this is a superb app and will serve me well throughout residency..Version: 0
