LOVE ITAfter reading so many bad reviews I feel the need to write a good one. I love this app, I have my favorite list and I dream about buying certain items, I save money and voilá! I have a Loewe bag for half the price, it’s incredible. Also I am so mindful about fast fashion that I buy affordable items instead of going to the shops. It’s true that I am a buyer and not a seller, so in that regard I won’t know, but I have bought a handful of items and they arrived perfectly. Yes it takes a while with authentication and so on but it’s so worth it. I also had the experience of the sellers not responding to the comments or the messages or not even sending the item and that’s super disappointed, however that’s not the app fault, it’s the seller. If that person intends to sell should be active on it. Again InIove this app and I am creating my little collection with items have always wanted. Merci, Vestiaire!.Version: 5.47.0

My profile has messed up?I really like the Vestiaire app and the new look, however I seem to have somebody else’s ‘favourites’ and all my wishlist has disappeared. Also all the people I follow have been wiped. Not really a major issue however it does concern me that personal information may have been shared. Really enjoy using Vestiaire itself. Products are as described and they do pick up on items that are not and suggest a price reduction. However, I do think that if the leather/canvas of an item is curled and severely mis-shapen this should be considered detrimental to the quality whereas I have had two items that this was not obvious in the pictures, not described and not identified as an issue by QC. It is an issue and very disappointing..Version: 5.0.2

Sometimes I have a budget and filtering via price is handy. • Wishlist/Favourites - add “Sold” to the filter. Nothing speaks volumes than finding one of your items on your lists have been snapped up. Vestiaire collective have the worst customer service everI have listed few things with them, when the sales goes through then everything is fine but once here’s problem with the item or if the sale is canceled they don’t give you any details… I tried to call the only customer service number where normally somebody will talk and explain to you what the problem is, this number now directs you to the chat, where you are actually dealing with an automatic notification, that replies every 48hrs, with the same automatic reply of will get back to you, but the question stays unanswered!… I have been asking them for more than 10 days a valid account number to send money to for my item in their possession to be send back to me, nobody is answering directly to me It’s so FRUSTRATING to deal with a company that has a very poor customer service. I think I am going to stop listing and buying from them. More so their commissions has gone up to 18% which is the more than the average from other companies..Version: 5.120.0

New updateEver since the new update all my descriptions have changed to French? Even though everything else is still in English and my settings are in English? Good sites but very slowI get very frustrated with trying to see things on here as is so slow. Also sending offers to people sometimes they just don’t respond!what is the point if your offering people to make offers. I also find when I bought something and something isn’t quite up to the quality , it doesn’t have a choice for me to ask questions or perhaps allow me to say if they can reduce the price a little than I will be happy to take it. For example I am having problems with two purchased I bought and both have quality control issues, but the links VC sent me doesn’t work and I have to keep clicking still not working. So I can only go back to the original profile of the sellers and leave an message and hopefully VC pick it up and I have to request the sellers there may be they can reduce the price since it didn’t qualify to the standard it should be. I hope VC can in\mprove this because is very frustrating..Version: 5.0.3

The app is better than PCThe negotiations area needs work. There should be a way we can chat to the person privately when negotiating. I was also negotiating with someone and because they declined my final offer there was no way I could still buy the item for their last offer. I think that’s wrong. I just think it needs some fine tuning. I think it is great that we can get value and use out of items..Version: 5.12.1

Basic Commands Crash the systemI have a better than average view of the brand but this app always leaves me frustrated. Example: Today I was asked to change photos to a listing I had prepared. Once I finished, selecting the 'confirm' command crashes the app. The spiral goes round and round and the 'confirm' goes in and out of availability. When you get bored, you'll close the app down to find nothing has been saved and you have to start all over again. This very task has been an issue since this app launched but the team seem uninterested. Note that only positive comments receive a response from the Vestiaire team, with challenges and issues completely ignored. The example I gave is one of a number of issues that happen regularly and consistently when trying to perform certain tasks on the app. Wasting the time and effort of your customers through sheer laziness just isn't good enough, particularly when you market yourself as a luxury brand..Version: 4.4.4

Glitching appWorks perfectly fine on iPad however the “me” page on iPhone to access your account and favourites pages glitches on the iPhone app causing it to crash. Very annoying! To specify, it is the “me” button located at the bottom right of the screen, next to “notifications”. After pressing on it, the app freezes then completely crashes. It is like pressing a self crash button. If you could fix this it would be great!.Version: 5.48.0

Stop Sending NotificationsI have enjoyed using the app and all of my transactions have gone smoothly but I am increasingly irritated by the frequency of notifications. I previously had notifications switched on so I could see if a price on a watched item was lowered, or a seller responded to a comment. However Vestiaire Collective has recently been sending me endless alerts about sales and promos—multiple times every day—and it is infuriating to be bothered this much. The app does not allow you to switch off such notifications—there are only options for other kinds of alerts. So I have had to switch off notifications entirely, and will probably buy fewer products as a result. It probably would have been fine to have a notification once a week or something, but Vestiaire takes it too far. Please include an option to switch off notifications for sales/promos so that I can get back to using your app..Version: 5.37.0

Great way to buy real brandsGreat way to buy and sell real silver, gold, and name brands since you have the items sent to a jeweler who inspects it first and verifies everything. I didn’t give 5 stars because I just sold a piece and I’m a little confused about how the whole process works from here. I printed out the shipping label to mail, and then I mail it to the company who will verify it and if everything is ok the deal is completed and I get my money and the buyer gets the jewelry. But I can’t pull up info in my account that I think should be there that provides the details about the sale and how it’s calculated and more. Hopefully I can find out if I’m doing everything right today.Version: 5.47.0

Poor customer support. Multiple issues.The app is fine, minor glitches with updating personal info etc. But god forbid anything goes wrong with selling, shipping or payment. They are not great at customer support, a tonne of attitude basically implying any issue is your fault and it takes weeks to get resolved! I have had incorrect shipping labels, missed payments, ignoring requests to remove items from sale. They eventually apologize and correct things but it should not be this stressful and they have too many competitors to take 1/3 commission and not do a good job!.Version: 5.2.1

Very user friendlySuper easy to use and the staff are mega helpful. They process your items extremely quickly (I’ve only used for selling so far) and give a lot of support and suggestions to help you make a sale. I also like the fact that you can see how well your item is received, you get notification (you can choose to have them on or off and which ones you want) when someone adds your item to their wish list or favourites and most of these designer buying and selling sites don’t do this. Lie after lieThis company never tells the truth about anything. I have been trying to get my payment for over a month. One lie after another . The website is below average just like the customer service people..Version: 5.46.0

Pros and Cons selling and buyingBUYER: I was happy with what I bought from Europe. It arrived fast. I don’t like how the search works as it is hard to find what you are looking for. I don’t like that seller descriptions are moderated because it makes it harder to find what you are looking for and moderators make certain items not available to purchase e.g. leather goods that they would state are exotic while it is just the print or kashmir (as wool product) or fur. Yes there is high customs fees almost double the price of the item which was added recently if you buy from abroad . Again this is a deterrent for a lot of buyers. Adding items to favorites not always works. SELLER: you items are exposed to large number of buyers globally. Again seller description moderation is not good idea as they may prevent your items from being available globally or not show up in search. Selling fees could be described clearer on the website They charge 15% in most cases (12% plus 3% processing). Overall I had a good experience with VC as a buyer and seller. hopefully they can figure out how to improve search and eliminate the moderation..Version: 5.70.0
