Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker for Positive User Reviews

Fantastic appWe live close to the airport fly often ourselves and get regular visitors flying in. With this app I can check whether my visitors are on time or delayed and so can my family when I travel. Stops unnecessarily early trips to the airport..Version: 8.6.1

Personal ATCFor someone who has more than a passing interest in aircraft, this is a must. I know the display “jumps” from time to time (install your own radar on the roof maybe), and it doesn’t tell you “everything” about “every” aircraft but if ya go out to the airport sometime (Dallas/Fort Worth) you can see the aircraft coming from Tulsa and Tulagi, from St. Louis (MO) and Saint Petersburg (Russia). I live 9 DME on the Ft. Worth (FTW) Localizer. It’s interesting to know who’s landing (and who doesn’t have the needle centered) when I’m outside working in the yard and just sitting on the patio having a beer I turn the iPad orienting to North and can see everybody in that portion of sky. OK, maybe I need to get a “life” but this is a fun Ap!.Version: 7.11.1

Flightradar24Thank you for making this wonderful game that I love because you can see all the planes by you and across the world thank you for making this game.Version: 8.18.1

Very Useful!Great app to track flights with lots of details. Free, doesn’t use much storage and useful! I see nothing wrong with it!.Version: 7.11.1

If your a plane spotter, you need this appFlightradar24 is an outstanding app for those who have a love for aviation or an average business traveler who wants to keep track of their flight’s departure and arrival times. And anyone in between. Personally, I’m a plane spotter, it’s one of my favorite hobbies, and having the power to track in bound flights and departure times at any airport on Earth in my own hands whenever I want is just incredible and super handy. And this app does more than simply track flights, it tells you their altitude, speed, heading, distance and time from destination, it tells you a specific aircrafts age, when it was built, and an aircraft’s history of recent flights, as well as give you alerts on specific flights that you can personally select with your finger tips..Version: 7.8.2

Fun to Use!I have been using this app for about six months. I started with a trial of the Gold Subscription, then went to the free option. When there was a random sale on the Gold Sub, I went right back to it - there is just so much cool and interesting information! I am by no means an aviation enthusiast. I have a C Crane SSB radio that lets me hear nearby flight radio and I’ll jump on the app to see who’s above - it’s really neat! But it is also fun to just see where flights are headed or where in the world they came from. You can get lost (in a good way) just watching them fly on the screen. One thing I’d like to see eventually evolve is the Apple Watch App. It is neat to have it show on your wrist some general information and a simple map with some flights. My dream would to be able to zoom in/out and move around within the map on your wrist! Hopefully someday! Overall, I am a happy customer/subscriber and very much enjoy this app and service. Huge shoutout to the developer for making such a great experience!.Version: 9.0.3

Please reign in some of the advertisersExcept for some oddities, such as planes of landed several miles off the runway, the app helps me understand what’s going on in my area as there are a lot of police flights and I’m near an airport. I understand and appreciate that the free version has to be supported in some manner, But please reign in some of your advertisers such as the hero wars and Township. Having to suffer through what seems to be five minutes of mostly misleading before being able to go on, you still have to be very careful about touching any place on the screen as it will take you to the download webpage. I have absolutely no problem with advertisements as I cannot afford a subscription, and I have even followed up on a few, but these advertisements in particular make me dread using the application..Version: 8.8.2

WHOA! This isn’t cool. The latest update states I can opt out of sharing information through Settings. I have yet to find how to do that in Settings. Also there seems to be no way to get past the opening screen unless one agrees to share their info to help you do marketing and share with others. This is the main reason I feel many if not most people are very reluctant to update apps. Would you please explain where in Settings I need to go. Love this app, have for years as a Silver member. UPDATE: You fixed it. Wow! That was quick. We can now load right in to the app with no problem. Thank you very much..Version: 9.2.1

Add another plane pleaseI will give 5 stars if you add SQ8669 because I couldn’t on flight radar 🥲.Version: 9.2.1

Used to feed as Ybsu3FR24 is perfect app to follow aircraft in your area. I live very close to the airport (it’s my back fence) so applied for their radar setup but was denied. Since then I’ve worked away more often than not so it’s hard to be organised with the cheaper equipment I purchased (raspberry pi, tv tuner, and a homemade antenna) to help continuous feed to the site. My now wife works at the airport currently so have a renewed vigour to know when flights are arriving or departing, FR 24 does that. Sometimes it tells me when dinner should be ready or not....based on their informed up to date information. I recommend this app to follow aircraft or arrivals and departures in your area..Version: 8.6.1

It’s AMAZINGIt is great to see the incoming planes on arrival and scedualed for take off, it is great if you can see the plane but it is to far away to figure out what it is, this app is perfect to see and me and all my friends think it is a amazing app, great work to the developers of Flight Radar 24 it’s amazing😊😎.Version: 8.3.0

Freezes sometimesLove it if I am bored I use this app all the time But sometimes is freezes then crashes which is really frustrating can you please fix this thanks.Version: 8.5.3

Amazing appThis app has let me see the air activity freely and with a subscription as well, it has given me the opportunity to see rare and extraordinary planes in the air, and has given me the talking point in my friends and family who share the same passion as I do with aviation as myself, I highly recommend this app to people who share the same passion as I do as it gives you endless opportunities to see amazing planes with live satellite tracking on the planes you love, and the planes that you don’t see everyday. 10/10..Version: 8.18.3

Love itI love this app! I live right next to the Grand Rapids airport, so I like to see what plane I’m looking at. It tells you all kinds of info like type, flight plan, tail number, and airline. Although sometimes the AR doesn’t work great, because I can see a plane, but it says it’s in a completely different direction. One thing I would like to see on this app would be plane crashes highlighted. Other than that, it’s a fantastic app. One more thing, I want have a filter for flight diversions. Okay, so the AR is working much better now, and O figured out that emergencies are highlighted. But, one thing I want next would be to see reports of what’s going on if at all possible on the emergencies..Version: 8.0.2

Essential for business travellersAbsolutely an essential app for business travellers. Up to date arrival and flight details. See the aircraft registration and track the inbound aircraft to see if any delays even before your flight is updated.Version: 9.0.3

Great App, Needs a CarPlay App TooHi Team at Flightradar24, You have a great app, but I would love to see a version made for CarPlay. My friends and I frequently visit the airplane viewing area at our local airport and would love to be able to see on the CarPlay screen what the next aircraft that is coming in and also where it’s coming from. I hope this would be a possibility. Cheers,.Version: 7.6.1

Airport waitA great app, easy to use, which I use often, especially when meeting flights. On one occasion, because the plane was delayed 2 hours because of a storm over the airport and there was too much water on the runway for planes to land, I was able to wait well outside the airport till the flight landed, thus saving $s parking fee!.Version: 7.6.1

Excellent appThis does exactly what I want. I live under a Manchester approach flight path and it’s great for identifying the aircraft as they fly over. Perfect. More... the ads only appear in a window of the left hand panel when you select an aircraft. They don’t interfere with the app and aren’t obtrusive at all. Been using this for a few days and can’t fault it really. Been wanting something like this for a while! I particularly like the fact that when viewing the details of a flight you can click on the start point and get it up on the map to see where in the world the plane has come from. Excellent attention to detail. Just one thing ~ the “binoculars “ are now replaced by the icon labelled “AR”, so I didn’t find that immediately. Also this view lags a bit but that’s not a biggie..Version: 7.3.11

Best Aviation AppIf you are looking for a great app to track your family and friends when they’re flying this is a great app for you! This app is also my favourite as I am an aviation enthusiast and this enables me to be able to film when a plane flies over me. Thanks to everyone who made this. It is THE BEST!.Version: 9.4.0

Flight Radar 24Great app. For following the family around the globe..Version: 7.8.2

FT24.I enjoy being able to track aircraft and especially when friends and family are on board. However, I don’t enjoy the sloppy landings when the aircraft lands off the runway and then backtracks as if it is trying again. Be great if this could be fixed..Version: 8.5.4

Hospital SecuritySo I work as security for a hospital, and from time to time we have to deal with AIR ORNGE coming in. For the longest time due to lack of ETAs we would just stand outside waiting to hear them so we could escort them. But thanks to this app we can see exactly where they are and when they will be landing!.Version: 9.2.3

Great app!!!I have had endless hours of enjoyment and entertainment thanks to your awesome app! I have also recently started to learn more about flying in general as a result of using your app... probably the most practical app on my phone!!.Version: 8.2.2

Absolutely Amazing!!!I have bought the Gold Subscription for $50 per year and it is amazing. Without ads the app is so much faster and you can see great info like weather, age, serial number and playback history for a WHOLE YEAR. You can have a satellite image so you can see where the plane went over. The app is so accurate and the AR view is cool when you are in a busy airspace it’s hard to see the plane. All the other apps don’t give the amazing 3D view or the same amount of detail and information. Other people should definitely upgrade even to Silver because it is amazing. Amazing app and it is definitely worth the money.Version: 7.6.1

Terrible updateI am very disappointed. I used this app a lot in the past but this update totally turns me off. Will certainly look for a different app.Version: 8.0.2

Flight trader review.I am in the flight path of Invercargill airport. I use it every day. It is especially handy when family or friends are travelling by air . The arrival times are usually very accurate. Many thanks. Choke one..Version: 9.1.0

Ad’s, Ad’s, Ad’sI can’t use the app for more than 10 seconds without it being taken over by an ad for Visa card ( I already have two, so the ad’s pointless). I close the ad and it re-opens almost immediately. It used to be a 5 star app. I can deal with the odd ad, but it has become painful to the point I’m going to delete it Sorry.Version: 7.9.0

Amazing trackerI love this tracker!!! I have had it for over a year now and thought id write a review because its sooo good. The app can tracker planes live and there exact speed you can also get a free 7 day trial and you dont have to pay for anything after that!!! It can show you: helicopters ,planes ,hot air ballons and even some ground vehicles. As i said ive had it for over a year and personally think you should download it!!! Ahhh so stressed with ideas to right i will leave it there. Thx luke. P.s download it!!!.Version: 8.6.1

Brilliant, gives exact location of a plane, will not use anything else.I use this all the time and it saves lots of time wondering where the plane you are meeting or waiting to board is. I have sat in an airport waiting for an overdue plane with no information as to when it arrives or will depart from the notice boards or airline staff. With this app you not only get an accurate ETA but get a real time location for it in the air, meaning you can go and have that extra drink or snack without worrying that you may miss the flight. Likewise we can sit at home and wait before we leave to pick up arriving friends, instead of waiting around in an expensive airport with the parking fees going up and up. Well done on producing this app..Version: 8.2.3

Vanda WaldenAbsolutely love my Flightradar24 - originally came from the uk- and all my relatives over there- so now when they go on trips I can follow them from my armchair- I don’t get on planes myself - due to a terrifying trip in wild weather on my honeymoon 50 years - plus my husband gets claustrophobic in them- . Can’t even see of any improvements you could do- however you are creative - so look forward to any brilliant ideas for changes you may have ✈️✈️✈️✈️ Regards Vanda ..Version: 8.0.2

Lousy appDoesn’t work at all.Version: 8.0.2

Self hosted plain trackingI have had a self hosted plane tracking system for quite a while and Flightradar24 offer substantial benefits for anyone willing to participate in their program. Also you are not limited to this site you an gain benefits from multiple other sites hungry for the data you can supply! So for around a £50 to £60 pound outlay and around £5 to £10 increase in your electric bill (not a problem if like me you also provide other services on this cost, Raspberry pi is the way to do it). Your payback from all the various sites covers the. Cost of the hardware in about 6 months!.Version: 8.10.2

Awesome app worth gettingThe new 3d feature is awesome but needs a fix so it doesn’t drain the battery so fast when using this feature..Version: 7.6.0

ConfusedI’m currently using Flightradar24 and I’m just looking at all the planes Taking off and landing at London Heathrow And i randomly see a Circle Object I clicked on it and All it said about the thing was that it was A ball? And i have no idea what It could be And you can’t track a ball so I’m just Deeply confused. Also it says it’s travelling at 100 ots and at 1,000 feet? They only other thing i could think of would be Blimps but it would say blimp on it I would appreciate if anyone could Explain what it is!.Version: 8.17.1

Great live flight trackingEasy and accurate flight finding, identification and live tracking. Lots of information. Great live maps..Version: 8.5.4

Add DARK Mode!!Hello Devs, This is a wonderful app. It has many great features and is truly the way to go for anyone. Whether you’re just an aviation enthusiast or a professional who knows all about the planes, routes, procedures, etc. But a couple things are preventing me from adding the fifth star. There are just two things I wish could be included in the app. The first one I’m sure is doable, the other, not so sure. 1: Dark mode. Simply put, sometimes I look at this app at night and wish the white parts of the screen were black or at least a dark grey color. 2: Taxi diagrams for airports. Often I use this app alongside LiveATC listening to ground frequencies. I’d like to see the airplanes on the flight radar move along the assigned taxiways that I hear on the frequency. If these two things could be added to the app, I’m certain users would enjoy their experience 10x more! I hope to hear from you all! Best, Carrington :).Version: 9.2.2

So, should you subscribe? You betcha! The reason? I’m sitting in Cyprus on a sun lounger hearing planes go by. Can’t see them as they’re flying behind the hotel building. I’d like to see em but I can’t. Fire up Flight24 and not only can I see what the aircraft is but where it’s come from, where it’s going and even see the plane type, altitude etc etc. So I come home and see Russia has invaded Ukraine. I wanna know what NATO are up to so I fire up Flight24 and check out the REAL StratoTankers, UAVs and Blackhawk Helicopters doing their thing around Europe. While for security reasons you don’t get a history of aircraft movements over days you do get pretty good idea what’s happening in real-time. Makes it very exciting at times. And even if you don’t know what to look for just check out the most viewed flights to find out what other people are peeking at. They’ll point you in the right direction.. I don’t know how this app / site works but it just DOES.. seriously. Try before you subscribe gals and guys. I did and haven’t looked back. I literally use it every day for something. Well done Flight24 team! Keep it up!.Version: 8.18.5

Thank youI love the way how I can track the planes, And I can track my friends/family, it helps me see some of my favourite planes, and see other type of planes in different places of the world. I wish I could rate it 10/10 but it’s only 5(as max)! I’m really glad I found this app, thank you for making it.Version: 9.3.1

Flightradar24Not what it used to be flightradar24 has a big fault… I wanted to track my friends arrival into Heathrow and it went completely crazy… giving faulty information and planes changing direction in mid flight for no apparent reason. Then all my previous tracking disappeared and so did all the planes.. I’ve been using “flightradar24” since it became available but it’s now unusable. There are better ones out there now so I’ve deleted the app..Version: 8.18.5

FairI welcomed the free use of this app to help track flights as part of my job. However, the new wait room created due to “high numbers of users” is just too obvious that money is a big factor now. Subscribers having priority really makes this clear. Hey, companies need money to run a great app. I have no objection. I subscribed at one point but did not see the advantage for my purpose. All I’m saying is, don’t hide the fact that if you don’t pay, you won’t get to play as often now..Version: 8.18.5

Excellent And accurate appI have used this app several times, accurate and live information at all time. Very reliable to use👍🏻.Version: 8.5.1

5-Star because great app but no longer works ipad IOS 10.3.3As the title mentions: I've loved this app for years, had a gold membership on and off since it came out. I just went to reinstall on my old iPad 4 IOS v10.3.3 Yes I know I should upgrade but it only appears to be a small crash on start-up. Hopefully if the bug team are able to they might see this and have time to look. I do understand that you've probably stopped supporting devices, hence the 5* as I know there is no "real" bug. Would be nice to have an older version available in the store. I could live with fewer functions if it meant that app loaded. Thanks a lot, sorry for the waffly "review"..Version: 8.13.1

Awesome Application Would Highly RecommendI signed up for a silver membership and so far I am thrilled with using the app. I am still learning all the ins and outs but it’s fairly easy to use. I am not sure how to see military aircraft or how to add Air Force One to favorites but I love that it shows the medical helicopters. The airport information is great and the mapping is spot on; when I see a plane in the sky and look at the map the location is on point. I did try the AR viewing the sky with a plane but it didn’t show up for some reason. Maybe that particular jet wasn’t visible? It didn’t show in the regular map either so I’m guessing it was able to be tracked. Overall I would highly recommend supporting this app and getting.a membership. I use it on my iPhone, iPad, an PC laptop. also use it when flying drones to ensure I am no where near other aircraft. Cheers!.Version: 8.19.1

Fight Radar App excellentGreat app. Huge amount of flights information. Great for tracking visitors flying into your city . Really enjoy it..Version: 8.18.1

Back to 5 starsLate March 2021 - an app update caused this app to crash at launch. Within 24 hours of notifying Flight Radar 24, they responded and advised it was fixed (another update was released) - and so it was. Well done! It’s back to 5 star and my favourite tracking app (I tried a few). Thank You FR24.Version: 8.13.2

V. P. N. IssueOver approx the last 3/4 weeks I have been experiencing problems with being able to load airport date. Runway information, flight arr/Dep times and flight duration times. From what I have been able to ascertain it is related to two Norton Apps on my iPhone. Norton VPN and Norton Internet Security. Removing Norton VPN does not solve the issue on its own but removing the Norton VPN then turn off Web Protection inside the Norton Internet Security. That seems to fix the problem. You can then re-install the Norton VPN and turn the Web Protection back on. Since doing that I have not experienced the issue. Important :- turn the device off/on after each stage. Hope that helps. I can’t be the only one with the issue..Version: 8.10.2

Pilot Must HaveThis app has gotten better with every release. If you are a pilot or a super nerd aviation enthusiast this is the app for you. If you also get the app for monitoring aviation radio communications it becomes even more fun. Watch the plane fly it’s route and monitor approach or departure frequencies and try to pick out the plane your following. I have a private pilot license and this have a backup VHF radio..sometimes I will monitor my local airport, watch planes coming over my house and listen to radio communications until they land. It’s super fun for us aviation nerds. It also helps get familiar with local approaches for IFR flying by allowing you to watch the aircrafts flight track. This can be super helpful when flying for real. Great job on the app guys!! Work on importing a higher resolution cockpit view and showing more ground details. GREAT APP!! fun app. When you fly commercially and have internet access on the flight, fairly standard these days, it’s cool to hear you own pilot work his way through heaven traffic. Now the radio monitoring app may not have all the handoff radio frequencies, but you know they will eventually be handed off to tower..:-) happy flying to all!!.Version: 8.8.0

The original, and IMO the best flight tracker.Started using on the computer before apps was a thing. But so much handier now always having it the pocket when you see or hear something that isn’t normal. And in an instance you can find out what it is, as long as it has a transponder that is. An awesome app, intuitive and super easy too use. Unfortunately some features are missing from the free app, but you get what you pay for. 😁😁 Thank you for leaving app fully usable in the free model, and not filling the whole screen up ads, pop ups, and everything else most developers do. 😊🤙.Version: 8.18.3

Best flight tracker availableAt first when using this app I found it infuriating as there was little information on the web to show me the intricacies of using the app. I paid for the gold level up front so i kept persisting with the app. I have an private airport transfer service so knowing precisely when a flight has landed and when to go into the airport is vital to my business and to the service that I offer to my customers. Since I made the effort to be able to understand this app I will never look anywhere else for another flight app as nothing comes close to the accuracy of your product..Version: 8.4.1

Improvements to 3D viewBut there are some aircraft - A300 family, A310, Bombardier CRJ family, Embraer E-Jet family, Fokker family, DC-10, MD-11, MD-80 family and Sukhoi Superjet 100 - appear as 737s in 3D view. Also, some of the wingtip devices do not appear, such as the wingtip fences and blended winglet ‘sharklet’ in the A320 family and the split-tip winglets on the 737s. There are probably some others. Additionally, plane liveries are not consistent. On most newer Boeing aircraft (excluding the 737) they have the Boeing family livery, but on most planes, there is not livery: it is just grey. A suggestion: it would be nice if they were installed with the appropriate airline’s livery..Version: 7.11.1

DisappointedLike others enjoyed this original app and payed for full version and it was worth it. New upgrades don’t cater for those that supported. Now stuck with no detail and an app full of ads unless I pay again each month. Disappointed..Version: 8.7.1

A fellow pilotGreat to see in actual time where other aircraft are! Thanks.Version: 9.2.1

Good but could do with some new featuresI’ve had the app for quite a while and there are some new updates that I would like. Firstly I would like a new filter for routes so you can only see flights between two airports, as I have been wanting to see how many flights take place between London and New York, but I would also like to see flights between other airports as well. Another filter I would like to be added to the next update is flight length, as I would like to only see flights over/under a certain length. Also sometimes the app can run quite slowly, which isn’t a major concern but it would be appreciated if it can be fixed..Version: 8.4.5

LOVE IT!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Ive been using this flight radar app now for over 2yrs without an issue to complain about. The app runs smooth and seems to be quite accurate, i use the app almost every day being an avid plane enthusiast, i upgraded and subscribed to the silver subscription for the added awesome features. I luv using the app and just really hope it can continue to remain such an awesome flight radar app for many more years to come! Definitely 100% recommend to any plane spotter/enthusiast! Thank you to the app developers, keep up the great work.👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺.Version: 8.3.0

Problems with the pictures of the airportsCan you please change all the pictures of the airports please thank you.Version: 7.7.0

Great app! some suggestionsThis new Flightradar24 is a great improvement over the previous version, the “AR”-style feature is useful, especially with lots of traffic and low visibility for IDing aircraft, the 3D view is a strange waste of space imho. some suggestions: as a Ramp Agent at an airport, I track several flights at once. it would be useful to have a bookmarks-type folder or list where I can add several flights to track and switch between quicky, without having to re-search or go through search history. perhaps also having the featue of adding my own notes, such as parking locations, who is assigned to duty, etc. also useful would be the ability to sort said flights in this hypothetical folder by distance, STA, ETA, etc..Version: 7.7.1

Great siteGreat to watch family and friends on flights ,where they are ,how far to go etc. What time they are going to arrive . Ian.Version: 9.1.0

New FR24 updatesLike many things these days, we like familiarity when selecting a programme, but unfortunately, the latest updates are rarely an improvement for me. It also applies to replacement printers for example. Who does it benefit? Well certainly not the client. I notice there are now advertisements thrust onto the screen. If I want to purchase something, I will do my own research before placing an order, so the advertising is wasted on me and an unwelcome intrusion. Michael W. Ewington.Version: 8.6.1

An essential for the AvGeek and PlanespotterThis app is an essential for the AvGeek or Planespotter. I use it many times every day, monitoring flights around the Philadelphia area. I can filter in/outbounds, and know exactly where they are at all times. I know which direction they are coming from, how low they are, and the rate the they are ascending and descending. This app is amazing, and definitely the best in its group. By many nautical miles. If you want a new hobby, start here. You will gain much interest in planes and aviation with this app. That’s how I started. Just scrolling around the map looking for cool planes, until I figured out that there are hundreds that pass over my immediate area every day! This app is also great for planespotting at airports. This app helped me get into that. Now I am truly an AvGeek with much knowledge about aviation and so much more to learn. Please enjoy this app..Version: 8.18.5

In a word, “Wow”!I was curious about all the noise I was hearing caused by low flying commercial aircraft overhead. I discovered this app in the process of researching airport flight information. The free version of the app is amazing. I can identify what is flying over, how high it’s flying, where it is coming from and where it is going. Hats off to the developers! The “bummer” is that if you want to unlock some of the other cool features you have pay for a subscription. I would gladly pay a few dollars for this app, maybe more, but the subscription model is deal breaker for me (-1 star for that). Others have commented that the app could be purchased outright in the past and the subscription service is relatively new. I know businesses need to make money, but a subscription is not cool with an “app” in my book..Version: 7.6.1

AccuracyLove this app. Accurate in keeping track of our flights from Chch to Palmerston North every night for work :).Version: 9.0.3

Favorite app!I love this app. I geek out with it all the time, causing much embarrassment to my wife in front of friends. App correctly identifies planes and helicopters every time. Flight and plane history is super interesting, and it's a great app to have while traveling as you're able to see where your plane is even when it's several legs away. If you want to know what you saw from the plane on your trip, use the flight playback to see exactly where you went. The uses for this app are endless for nerds like me. Only suggestion: flight playback map currently only has a satellite view. Please add options for hybrid or standard map views!.Version: 7.6.1

App now wants me to pay againI have had this App for a long time and it’s always been really top I use it a lot as I’m an airport firefighter and like to look at what’s in the pattern when we are out on the ramp. The first issue I have ever had with it is today. I paid for the app when I first got it but now I’ve done an update it’s telling me I need to pay again. I don’t know if anyone else has had this. As for an app it’s the best one out there for flight tracking.Version: 8.6.1

Okay butIt’s okay since I have cousins who are pilots and flight attendants so I can easily track their travels yet the only thing that bothers me is when their flight is delayed it doesn’t give an update for the departure or arrival how inconvenient because what if you are a connecting passenger and don’t have the right info your going to miss your connection also the ads are annoying I have to close out every time then reopen the app to continue the process wish it could just be a completely free app instead of paying all the time it’s getting really annoying..Version: 8.14.0

Works most of the timeYeah it’s ok but it doesn’t work all the time from what I have found out after having it for about a year when I mean it doesn’t work I have had aircraft over the top of my home and there is nothing there on this app so I do question it’s capability and this is not a one off it’s happened on a regular basis but in saying that it’s pretty good for it to be free example so if you are at a airport and wondering when your loved ones are landing it great but if you are looking for something more than that in my opinion yeah it’s not so great but hey it’s free.Version: 8.11.1

Great informationI’ve often found myself struggling to remember how to get Siri to show me a list of nearby aircraft. Now, I don’t have to! It’s all here. Since I’m not a pilot, I don’t know if there’s more info than what I have here in this app, but I’m satisfied to see what details I do have access to. It’s a great way to check out what’s visible and get to familiarize myself with recurring flights. The only details I haven’t found yet is more specs on the particular aircraft, like the normal # of crew onboard and max passenger capacities. I also enjoy knowing the max speed and altitude. Short of those, I’ve found everything I know about! Great app! To me, worth the cost!.Version: 8.2.3

Accurate, useful and fun!I have had Flightradar24 for several years now and find it accurate in its plotting and use it to get to our local (Manchester UK) at the best time to meet flights. It’s more up to date than the airport apps in that respect. It was also useful in discussing flight paths with airport authorities when flights suddenly appeared on new take off paths over our house! And it’s fun to see who is going where - helicopters especially. Good on holiday to to check that inbound flights are on time to return home!.Version: 9.2.1

If tracking a flight is all you need......then this app is for you! I downloaded this app when my children traveled abroad for their vacation. Being the over-concerned person/mom that I am, I thought I’d feel a *little* better knowing where they were while in flight. Did it help calm my nerves? You betcha! Was I less concerned that they were so far away from me and that there was nothing I could do about it? Not a chance! I was really impressed with how accurate the information was. For instance, for one flight it said it would land 20 min early than the ETA from the airline so (naturally) I called them as soon as the app said the plane had landed and they called me back within 5 min! Satisfied! 👍🏻.Version: 7.6.1

Absolutely superbThis is a really good tool and app to use I wish and hope 3D mode gets a lot more added to it like More detail and such etc but it’s a really good app!! 😁😁.Version: 9.0.3

Best flight tracking appDefinitely the best flight tracking app that I’ve used and I’m a little bit addicted! The thing I’d like added is the ability to select an airport on the map and have the inbound and outbound flights highlighted (one colour for inbound, one colour for outbound)..Version: 8.5.1

Goodbye Flight Aware Hello Flightradar24!I’m an aviation geek and loved Flight Aware but for the longest time, I always wished I could know the tail numbers and registration information of an aircraft I was viewing from my lanai. I would often go online, look up all of the registration numbers of a particular aircraft in a fleet and try to find which one I was looking at. I remarked to a friend of mine how I would look up these aircraft and that’s when he introduced me to this app. Now I can easily point my iPad or iPhone at an approaching or departing aircraft and find that information. I also love the feature of being able to see recent and past photos of that very same aircraft! Just a remarkable, easy to use app! I’d HIGHLY recommend this app to ANYONE that’s an aviation geek like me or for someone a lot more advanced such as pilots, ground crew and flight crew..Version: 7.4.1

Perfect for the Aviation Enthusiast! This is hands down the best app on the entire App Store. It gives you all of the flight details you could ever imagine and then some. They don’t constantly force the upgrade subscription options on you if you’re using the Basic version, however I would highly recommend upgrading because it makes the app that much better (if that’s even possible!) I pay for the Gold subscription and it’s worth every penny. I would highly recommend this for my fellow aviation enthusiasts, frequent travelers, or just someone who wants to look up at the sky and know where a plane is headed!.Version: 8.13.3

Amazing!!!What an amazing app! I followed my wife’s flight all the way to DIA and even watched her taxi to the gate. I knew she was at Concourse A. I knew when she stopped because her speed reached zero. Sure enough, she let me know she was there right at that moment. I also knew the flight was going to be early because it tells you when the plane will arrive as you follow it. This app is awesome and it is very accurate and in real time!!! Great Job on this app! I wish it was one price to upgrade instead of subscriptions. I would pay for it but I won’t do subscriptions. I don’t know if you can have an alert set when the plane lands, but that would be an awesome feature. Thanks!!!.Version: 7.10.1

First few weeksI swapped to this from PlaneFinder as it was getting less and less accurate/ up to date. Whilst this has a few more features I’m not convinced it is anymore accurate. Also frustrating that a lot of information that is free on other platforms has to be paid for here as an upgrade. Will stick with it for a bit longer to check against the flight paths becoming busier, but not convinced yet..Version: 8.8.2

Came in handy in lots of waysI bought a monthly subscription for a couple of months during a long holiday to track performance of seasonal flights we’re taking. It’s been great to see their on-time/cancellation performance over the last several weeks. We have had friends joining us at different points in our itinerary and being able to find and track their flights in real-time has been very useful. I don’t have the need for a subscription long-term but will re-subscribe for any involved holiday..Version: 7.7.1

Great app but needs improvementsThe app is great for several reasons. I find myself on it constantly each day. One big problem I have is the app doesn’t have all the airports on it that it should in my opinion. For an example I live close to a regional airport and if you zoom into it’s there on the map but if you what any information on or flight schedules etc you can’t click on it and will have to google it which I feel is a big inconvenience. The airport that I am talking about is Vermilion Regional Airport (DNV) which is quit busy everyday. I hope the developers see my review and consider add the airport along with others that has been forgotten about. Thanks.Version: 8.17.2

Great AppI’m sure happy I discovered this. I love aviation and it’s so nice to be able to see what planes are flying in my area. My niece is a flight attendant and it’s a lot of fun to see her land and take off at the various locations. Also, the other night my dad who lives outside of Las Vegas was watching plane after plane fly in to McCarran airport - or the string of diamonds as it is often called. I was able to look on the app and tell him the description and size of each plane that was flying overhead that he could see, as well as the ones coming. We both had a lot of fun and he called the next night and wanted to do it again. There are so many advantages to having the app and these are just a few. I also appreciate being able to be alerted when a plane has in emergency situation. It would be nice to know what the emergency is but at least this is nice to have. It seems to freeze occasionally when planes are landing or taking off but overall seems to be very accurate. I’ve tried other aviation apps and this seems to meet my needs the best..Version: 8.2.1

An aviation lovers dreamAs a young man I always enjoyed watching the planes fly over if they made their approach to our local airport. Even now, as an old man, I still am fascinated by the wonders of aviation. Now that the technology has advanced to this stage, it is all the more rewarding to have this information at our fingertips. I am thankful for having the ability to track airliners with the additional capacity to see live all the accompanying data related to the flight. I do have one regret however. On the Mayday alerts, unless I am right there with my phone at the instant the alert is sounded, the information quickly disappears from view and is lost forever. I am hoping this flaw can be corrected..Version: 8.18.5

Flight RadarI have used this App for years and it is not until you cast your memory back that you realise the vast improvement. My son telephoned me yesterday, he was picking a friend up from the airport. Not only was I able to tell him the ETA and the terminal but which gate and the number of the baggage carousel. I told him he should get the App, his reply was “ I’ve got it, but I can’t access it right now, I’m driving. Kids 🤔.Version: 9.3.1

Couple of gripesI have a brand new Dell i5 laptop and a selection of older Apple products, iPad, MacBook Pro and iPhone 11pro, all except the Dell laptop are capable of showing my location with either a blue circle or a cross! I find it ridiculous that Flightradar24 has the capacity to show nearly every aircraft in the UK yet can’t show my own location!!! This needs rectifying! ASAP... I use Flightradar24 in conjunction with my SDR radio, that can only run on my new Dell, and I constantly need to change screen to see what’s flying over my location, very frustrating! Next up is gliders, simply put, they are too difficult to spot when using a mobile, and still difficult to spot on a normal monitor, how about something like a brightly coloured letter G so they can be easily identified Thanks Tom.Version: 8.8.0

Flight Radar 24Great to be able to monitor and watch international flights in real time.Version: 8.2.3

Love this app!!!So we live in Tenerife and have people visiting all the time. We track them here and back and the 3D view even lets us see the landings. Honestly, my son flew back to the UK and I watched the landing on 3D enhanced view. The plane hit the runway, bounced left and right then hit again, finally staying on the ground. I texted my son and said that it looked like a very bouncy landing, he replied it was the worst and bounciest landing he’d ever had... amazing to see it from Tenerife. We always know when they’ve taken off and exactly when to go and collect them Can’t rate this highly enough plus it’s totally free!!! You do have to pay if you want to see more 3D enhanced landings, but it’s still cheap. Good to see an app with fantastic functionality and truly useful, that is given for free. Thanks guys, really appreciated..Version: 7.10.3

Guilty PleasureI have often sat looking up at the sky wondering what’s flying above me, where has it come from and where is it going. I often sit in amazement just swing how busy the sky’s around the world are. This App is fantastic and has made my aircraft obsession more infesting as not only can I watch live moment but also get notifications about conditions and at times updates of love aviation incidents as they are unfolding. With some fantastic choices of settings, 3D models and much more, this is the perfect App for anyone who loves aviation. I would be lost without this fantastic App. Highly Recommended 👍.Version: 8.0.2

Updated version is terribleI was a huge fan of flight radar app, unfortunately the app updated and now it is rubbish, ad’s everywhere and basically they want you to pay for a premium service to get rid of ad’s and make it enjoyable. Don’t use it ....Version: 8.9.0

Option to hide sidebar; hold focusI love everything about this app. It definitely can consume a lot of time depending on your interests. I paid for the Gold option and feel the app differentiates itself more than its closest competitor. Enhancement request: The ability to hold focus on a selected and temporarily slide or suppress the sidebar. I love the sidebar but it does consume a lot of space so having a toggle for this would be helpful. Finally I’d remiss if neglected to see the negative reviews from those who previously purchased the app. It is not reasonable to expect an app purchase is tantamount to a lifetime license including all upgrades. There are real costs associated with development and operating costs for data, systems. and support. That’s capitalism at work. I’d much rather pay for the app than see it go away. The devs set their pricing based on its value and the competing marketplace..Version: 7.3.11

Restore previous purchase failI try to restore my previous purchase but failed I don’t know what wrong???.Version: 7.8.4

Missing several key featuresI used to plane spot with my dad and if I’d had this app when I was a kid I’d never put it down! It’s fantastic but in my mind it’s missing a couple of crucial features for the hard core plane spotter. There’s no way to log which aircraft you’ve seen. This is the whole point behind plane spotting. There are even books just for the task (civil air markings) and I still have a book somewhere that I used to tick off planes I’d seen which was great fun. It’s a great app but how anyone can call it the perfect app for plane spotters clearly knows nothing about plane spotting. In addition to ticking off aircraft, this feature would also allow us to know if we’ve seen a certain aircraft before and where. That would be cool, for want of a better word! I don’t know if there are data restrictions preventing these features but it seems to me there’s a huge untapped market for real plane spotting and logging and not just simple identification. How about it Flight Radar?.Version: 7.6.1

WondefulI'm primarily writing this review to counter the numerous one-star reviews whining about the subscription model. As a user, I get that people are annoyed with subscription models. It feels "wrong" having to essentially pay again for what you thought you already paid for. From a developer AND a user point of view, it's more complicated than that. I've had one-off-fee apps that were awesome - until they reach the natural plateau, which is when revenue for the developer dries up and along with it, so do resources to work on updates. Over time the development stops until the app is essentially a useless shadow of its old self. That's obviously not great from a user OR a developer point of view. I'm happy to pay a recurring fee, trusting this will ensure continued development and maintenance. Time will tell if that's the case here, but for now I'm extremely happy with the app and fine with the subscription model..Version: 7.10.1

Track radarWe are finding this a great app to have that is very accurate.Version: 8.18.5

Amazing appThis app truely is the best flight radar on the market right now and will be for a while but I would love to see some new features like a google earth type of map view and a widget for the iPhone..Version: 8.18.4

Yesterday’s update not goodI really like the idea of the app. We’re in a pretty rural area and when we see planes waaay up there now we can figure out what it is and other stuff. Updated this morning and all the smoothness is gone. Can’t see a plane flying or moving on the runways. They make a jerky move about every 15 seconds. It looks real strange to see a plane just staying in one place at 30,000 ft. Hope that gets put back to yesterday’s movements. Update Mar 24, 2022 I put the some stars to 5 because I have found a work around and because I like the idea of watching planes. When the planes stop moving I just have to resize the window on my iPad.Version: 8.18.3

Aviation comes aliveHaving worked in aviation for some 20 years (20 years ago) it’s amazing nowadays to see how various types of aircraft can be viewed in real time all around the world. Gone are the days when I used to manually file flight plans, request slot times, watch for the aircraft to get airborne and that was it until it hopefully arrived at its planned destination. Tracking the aircraft wasn’t possible short of working for ATC and even then it was control space restricted. Aviation technology wise, it’s amazing! Whatever will be next? A super app that I use almost every day. Thank you Stephen Ryles.Version: 8.8.0

Undo updateI love this app. I use it to help track inbound flights of people I’m picking up to know when to start heading in to the terminal. No waiting allowed inside LAX so it’s real time flight info and the ability to watch planes taxi to their gate is perfect to keep lanes clear and then swoop in as they’re walking out. It’s such a wonderful tool to have. BUT.... Whatever you did yesterday to fix what I didn’t know was broken, please undo it. I can no longer see helicopters, specifically police helicopters. There’s one buzzing around over my head and I’d prefer to know if it’s LAPD or Fire or Medical or whatever without having to go outside and look up. This was such a huge part of my love for this app. Please put it back and I’ll let it slide when a helicopter icon is used but a picture of a plane comes up when you select it. And vice versa. Love the loons and the occasional ground vehicles. But please put the cop choppers back up. Thanks.Version: 8.11.0

Airline Pilot recommended!I absolutely love this app. I’m a captain on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for the largest airline in the world. To see and use this technology is so enjoyable and engaging. No matter where you are you can look up at the sky and be able to see what kind of airplane is flying overhead and where it’s going. The additional flight parameters and information are also entertaining to see. When I’m waiting for an inbound flight I can quickly check its position to coordinate my own outbound preparations. If I could make any improvements to this app I would create the ability to tag a future outbound flight to text me any delay notifications. I’d also create the ability to tag specific outbound airline and fleet so I’ll know if all of the airplanes of my fleet and base have departed or are delayed. It would help when I’m on call and could prepare for possible re-crewing of an aircraft. In any case, the developers of this app have done an absolutely wonderful and commendable job and I happily send my regards and compliments on a job well done!.Version: 7.11.1

Great appIt's a great app I use it quite a bit just to see where the toll helicopters are coming from. The only thing I would like to come back would be where there going. It now only shows where they came from. All in all great app and I have turned a lot of people into it..Version: 9.0.3

Flightradar24Have had many excursions using my Flightradar24 program over the last 15 years and it amazes that F24 developer’s keep updating the program for the betterment of member/Subscribers Keep up the fantastic portrayal of everything to do with Airplanes and flying around our Earth Stan Walton now I’m 81 and am able understand to stay with changes.Version: 8.18.5

For the curious and those who need itMy son had installed this for me so I could see what sort of work day he was having as an air ambulance pilot Now that I live close to Newquay airport it gives me joy to confirm my recognition of helicopters and planes by sound. Today I am using it to track my daughter’s flight from Cape Town and will have an accurate indication of her landing time. I already know that her flight was delayed by 2.25 hours before leaving due to it arriving late in Cape Town. A great app for any age and any need.Version: 8.18.0

Watch the skies!I use Flightradar24 to track flights of family and friends and it became really interesting when my wife set off to America. I was following her progress when the plane passed over Ireland then it turned round, headed to Scotland then flew in circles for an hour to lose fuel before heading back to Manchester where it landed safely. A ‘backup’ fault had been found over Ireland. I often hear planes & helicopters fly overhead and with a tap on the app I’m shown a picture of the plane, it’s route, speed, altitude and much more. It really is interesting seeing planes in flight in real time & it’s fun way to teach children geography too. I really recommend trying it..Version: 8.4.5

AR Problems July 2018 - UpdateUpdate: following a swift response from the developer, and a dig in the depths of the iPhone settings, the problem is resolved. It was all down to compass calibration - how do these things change? I’ve now restored the five star rating, thanks go to Simon. In the last 3 weeks my AR has failed. It was working fine before but now all I get is a partial picture in the top left hand corner of my iPhone SE screen. The map circle appears at the bottom along with the slider and the pause button all of which seem to work but make no difference to AR. I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times, changed the compass to the apple version and changed various settings all to no avail. Finally I checked FR24 on my wife’s iPhone SE and AR works fine. There is nothing on the forum save for a 2016 reference to a similar problem on an iPad but no real solution. I’m a silver member and generally very pleased with FR24 but a resolution to this would be good..Version: 7.8.2

Every day is a good Flight day!As an 82 year old I get so much enjoyment out of the basic plan. I find it fascinating and useful for tracking the odd flight. I see how they all fly around N Korea. You get interest in world happenings through this site..Version: 8.18.1

Update workedEdit 24 Oct...Ads on a gold subscription??? Edit: 24-July... works perfectly now, love this app. App has been slow to non-responsive upon opening during past week. I’m not paying gold prices for cardboard service.Version: 7.10.1

Love the app, but could be better!I love the app. I live under a flight lane and it is fun to see what the plane is etc. I also love the new 3D addition. However it is a little hard to use. It spins around too fast- very sensitive. And you can’t freeze it in place. I would like to see it be a bit more interactive where I can stop the plane and take a look around where it was flying over- or some way to check out what is on the ground better. I can’t find anything because the plane moves away too fast and it is just not easy to see anything. I also would like to add a pin for certain places, such as my house, so I can locate it while looking at the 3D views. Great app! Keep improving!.Version: 8.18.5

Need to change weather settingsGood app. Noticed barometric pressure is in hpa. Wonder if could change to inches of mercury. Also, we have a lot of regular small aircraft, carry about 10-20 people flying over. I live by the Mackinac Bridge. Mackinac island is 5 miles out in Lake Huron, currently lake is frozen, so have flights flying people back and forth from county airport to island airport. Wondering if developers could show smaller aircraft as know they show drones in some areas. We do have bigger airports in Pellston and Sault ste Marie which are 20 and 50 miles away respectively. During winter months Mackinac County Airport in St. Ignace is busier than Pellston and Chippewa County airports combined..Version: 7.5.0

5 StarsI was able to see when my son’s flight left and when it landed. Very accurate and it gave me peace of mind. Highly recommend ❤️😁.Version: 9.1.0

Good informationEasy to see where flights are.Version: 8.0.0

Flight radar 24I have just upgraded to Silver and am delighted with the service. I don’t need this app - but I an aviation nosey-pokes..Version: 7.4.1

Flight Radar 24After a year of using the free App finally paid for a year subscription. I don’t know how or why I didn’t pay a year ago, fantastic app and keep up the great work..Version: 7.5.0

We are finally flyingIt is so good to have loved ones visit. Our family has been torn apart by Covid and now we are finally able to give each other a big hug for Christmas! Thank you flightrader24 for your wonderful tracking of our loved one’s flights!!!.Version: 8.18.0

Lots of well organised information!Layers of very interesting information - including many weeks of an aircraft's flights; aircraft in active on the ground at an airport; age of the aircraft. Can even play back summary of recent flights. It is even easy to navigate and user friendly for someone in their mid-50's! The only complaint that I would have: when listing the flights on route a to b, it just lists them by airline and flight number BUT not date and time and date of a recent or upcoming flight. This makes it more difficult to work out which plane a relation or friend might be travelling or working on (you might easily know the route, date and time that you are interested in but not the flight number). The older version included the date and time in small writing under each flight: this should be very easy to correct - go back to the way it used to be on the simpler, free version!!.Version: 7.7.1

Highly addicting 😀I used this app to track my daughters flight when she went away with friends. It gave me reassurance to know that I could check how far into their journey they were and that they had landed safely. It was very addictive and I sat in my living room watching most of the three and a bit hour flight. It’s fascinating to see where they fly over, the speed and the altitude. Highly recommended if you have a few hours to spare!!!.Version: 7.7.1

✈️aviation enthusiast or not - get this app✈️Non-avgeeks and avgeeks read - there’s stuff for both of you! I’m an aviation enthusiast and i have been for too long to remember (3-4 ish years) I got this app when there was a lite and a pro version a long time ago. Having experimented with the lite version, i upgraded. The reason for me telling you this is that i have experience with this app - Anyway this app is really great, especially his version. Easy to use, not slow or laggy (unless you zoom out to the whole Earth), and it is great overall. Click on a plane and it will give you route, type of plane, departure city and arrival city along with times, flight time, previous and future flights of the plane you clicked on, general line of the route, and a bunch of other great stuff. There is a subscription plan to get even more info about aircarft age, ATC data, and other avgeek stuff. You can check your flight times and see where your plane came from, search random flights and know info about them (if i searched PHL- JFK it would give me a list of different flight numbers from all the airlines that service the route). This app is really great especially for aviation enthusiasts. In addition to everything above - it allows us to know what is arriving what day and when, what’s departing, wind info and runway info. Incredible for planespotting Definitely get this app..Version: 8.4.2

Amazing app for everyoneThis app has to be the best app for aviation enthusiasts ever. You can view all the simple things you would need to know about a plane for free, and the ads aren’t even that annoying for something free. And if it really does bother you that much, buy the silver subscription it is incredibly affordable and anyone who has the tiniest bit of income can get it. This app has kept me entertained and interested, it really has taught me a lot about plane models and flight patterns as well; living close to KATL (the busiest airport in the world.) whenever I see a plane or hear it I can easily pull up the app, and check everything I need to know. I have one suggestion, I enjoy bookmarking aircraft and watch the route they follow, and I think maybe it could give you an alert if they fly over you or are close to you, very helpful for plane watchers probably as well. Summary: Incredibly good app, subscriptions are affordable and is very cool..Version: 9.1.0

Flight Radar 24This app is so good. I have a dad he is a Pio lot and I track him every time I’m acctully tracking him now. Tho they could have put some non-gold features in the bronze like all aircraft information (I play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020) and the 3D view. I recommend this app and I hope one day fr24 reach out and change some of the features I have just listed..Version: 9.2.3

Really GoodA great app for any AvGeek or even anyone who wants to track their flight while being the best out there, for free too! Sometimes it isn’t precise but you cant blame it as it tracks every commercial aircraft in the sky and uses info from the aircraft and a very complex system with many variables. (When it isn't precise its no more than a mile out of range or when at airports it looks like the aircraft overrun). Other than that I use this app for plane spotting and love it. Great how it gives all the stats too and the free version is great unlike most other apps that bug you to upgrade, although I do recommend going to silver for £10 a year as its worth it. 5 stars..Version: 9.0.3

Love itMy husband travels often and I am often at the airport too early to pick him up. With costs of airport parking, I can keep track of where the flight is and live information on expected arrival times. I also love discovering details of the flights that are flying over while I wait or those that I can see on my drives. Awesome app..Version: 7.7.1

This app is amazingI have had this app for a while now and it 100% works if there is a plane going over me I go on the app and it’s there how fast it’s going it’s alt and what plane and if registration number, it shows everything and it shows the planes country of origin I definitely recommend this app it’s free and there are no adds that stop you from viewing!.Version: 9.2.1

Love Flightradar24Flightradar24 is excellent it is great to be able to track flights in real time.Version: 8.19.1

Flight Radar 24 - how to occupy endless hoursHaving Flight Radar 24 on my phone attracts me to endless absorbing time travelling as an “Arm Chair tourist” all over the planet. I also identify every detail of any aircraft in my vicinity especially those actually sighted. I am never bored while waiting as Flight Radar 24 caters to my need for meaningful stimulation. Roger Willsher.Version: 7.10.3

Lois McMillanGreat app, paid the money to enjoy better info and not disappointed. Only thing the airforce plans you can’t follow but that’s nothing all I wanted to know what type of plane.Version: 8.12.2

Plane informationI really don’t like the large window that opens when you touch a flight ... the photo is far too big and relevant information too small. I much preferred the old version. Sad that when something is so good, you have to change it just for the sake of doing it. Otherwise I can see nothing is actually better..Version: 8.6.1

Fascinating and addictiveEven if you only have a passing interest in aviation, this app can be addictive. Just looking at the air traffic at your local airport, or looking at the area of the Ukraine and see what’s in the air (it does show quite a bit of military aircraft). And the setting where you get an alert if any aircraft in the world being tracked squawks 7700 which is an emergency you get to see some fascinating situations. The only bad part is you have no way of knowing if it’s just a minor issue or an engine on fire. You can tell a bit of what’s going on by watching the aircraft: today I saw an airliner in Peru turn back around to head back to an airport and there was no pattern etc it went straight in and was descending so fast I was afraid it wasn’t going to make it. I’m surprised that I use this app every day..Version: 8.19.1

Brilliant App. And Im not a plane spotter.I recently bought an Airband Radio , but after discovering this App I put the Radio on ebay and sold it. Theres no point in listening to air traffic hoping that a flight number gets mentioned, when you can have all the data in front of you on screen! I cannot vouch for its accuracy but its pretty good. Even military fighter planes show up. Occasionally I have seen full size airliners and huge heights almost 40,000 feet and the App hasn’t identified them. Maybe classified flights? But these are a tiny minority. I live on the final approach to Manchester and most flights are Holiday jets at 4000 feet and its perfect for them. If you have to collect family members from the airport, its a brilliant method to work out when to set off- although not the apps fault that you have no idea how long to allow for baggage collection lately!.Version: 8.18.5

The best flight appThis is the best flight tracking app by far. I like this so much, I actually bought it, and I buy very few apps. I tried them all, and this one is the most information and shows flight information not only of your flight but, but all the surrounding flights. I especially like 3-D mode where you can see the plane flying and spin around it from outside the plane in real time. Very cool! It’s great if you’re on a flight and have access to Wi-Fi to track your own flight in real time. You can look at the map of your flight and see other planes coming either under or above you, then you look out the window and see them! Such a great app..Version: 9.5.0

Bad app updateJust got sucked in to update and download a new version of this app (which I’d previously paid for) and now I get less information on flights than with previous version! Clearly I’m supposed to pay again for an upgrade so I can get what I had before. Not happy and will use another app..Version: 7.10.3

Greg SIt’s not my most used app (as I don’t fly every day) but whenever I do or have someone visiting from far off lands it’s very helpful & entertaining!!.Version: 7.10.3

Strange.Just got this app and I was well impressed with it until that is,it showed a helicopter near Wigan some 18 miles away and as I tracked it towards my position,it vanished? The helicopter actually showed up not half a mile from my bedroom window but the AR didn't show it and it's vanished off screen?? It certainly hasn't crashed because I know where it's landed!....not good I'm afraid.( Update)...I've just had a response to my review and it seems there are many variables to tracking and showing aircraft. I guess I'm used to using a similar type of app for ships which is very accurate. So although the reasons for the missing aircraft are out of the apps control it only goes up 1 star as in the end there are still aircraft flying over my house that just don't appear on the app. Not sure if this is any help but it appears that the larger the aircraft, the more likely it is to show up? A few single prop and helicopters have definitely flown over and " off the radar" as it seems. Thanks for the teams reply in explaining things too! Summary then... Seems good for general information but does not have 100% accuracy. Maybe the other similar apps are of a same ability too so happy plain hunting! UPDATE..Amazingly since paying the gold subscription everything works as it should! Shame it's so pricey though,.Version: 7.6.1

Ads make app unusableThe app is by far the best at tracking planes, and being able to filter by airport, airline, equipment, etc. my favorite is the option for arrivals only as well as departures from specific airports. Now to the bad: while I’m perfectly fine with the ads, got to get paid somehow. There is one major design flaw, when you use the search button to filter, when tracking your intended flight on the live view map. The banner on the top blocks the menu buttons on the top, meaning your only option is to force quit the app every time instead of using the back button behind the ad. Maybe that was the purpose but ads aren’t supposed to break the app which this doing. Upgrades are supposed to entice you gain more information with in the app; not make it work how it was intended..Version: 7.11.1

Great but Needs to fix this bugFR24 is a great app for tracking flights, finding aircraft data and much more. This app is really good as I use it everyday. But there’s this bug I’ve been dealing with over the past week. This bug is where I go on to FR24 but I don’t see any aircraft on the map including everything I search up has no results; so could try fix this bug Thanks.Version: 8.17.2

Great app for ADHD people like me who love aviation 😆Okay, so this review may not be entirely what it’s meant to be for, but I get bored often and get easily distracted. Whenever I hear a plane or helicopter or something I literally drop everything to look where it is, and then proceed to find it on the map being the nerd I am. I personally only use it for looking at planes, so I don’t really have a use for the subscription, so I cant say much on it. I often find myself staring at this app very frequently, the most I have ever is 27 minutes, haha. It’s a great app, highly recommend especially for people like me😁.Version: 8.17.1

Best Ap on the web! There is nothing on TV…. I am sitting here tracking a NASA flight heading to Antartica, I think…. How flip’n amazing!!.Version: 8.18.5

Great app …A great app to track your flights or flights you need to meet. Have the Silver membership and happy with it. On a recent flight from Singapore to Auckland was able to track my own flight across Australia using WIFI. This was a bit of a surreal experience..Version: 9.5.0

Just one thing wrongI love focusing just out of airports, watching the planes come in on approach, But I don’t like how when you click on a plane it moves the whole screen. I want to keep the screen in the same place and let the Planes come to me. Please update this! Thanks.Version: 8.0.2

TonydownunderI too paid years ago and feel a bit miffed, but get over it, we all have to eat. I took the silver subscription and miss one thing, the total planes globally and the number on screen. Please can we have that back? BTW can I get rid of the settings bar that is constantly on the bottom of the screen because if you return the counter to the same place I wouldn’t be able to see it. Thanks..Version: 8.6.1

Flightradar24I rely constantly on Flightradar24 as part of my work, it is always accurate and very reliable when other sources for flight information can be lacking and not so up to date..Version: 8.11.1

Cool appNice app for trawling the skies and seeing what is up there. Make it open source and free and let the community turn it into something useful. Link it to a community made flight simulator and gamification to encourage more pilots to learn to fly. Flying will soon be available to many more people and will not need lengthy certification as the flight paths with become augmented and can be virtualised in a 3D space. Urban-air mobility platforms are just around the corner..Version: 8.18.4
