MyChart for Positive User Reviews

Issue getting back to my accountI’m a bit confused. My one healthcare provider sent me an email to sign up for MyChart. That was Geisinger. So I load the app and I select Geisinger, went to create an account, but found I already have an account through my other provider, Penn State. So I use that log in to access. Ok, so I’m in and a little tutorial pops up and said to use the “Switch Provider” (I think it said) if you have more than one. Well, I looked everywhere for this feature and finally found it under my Profile. I click on that and it shows that Geisinger is my provider, even though my account was set up through Penn State. So I tried to add Penn State but it’s not an option here. So, then I tried to go back to my Profile page but there’s no option to take me back. I’m stuck on the screen. No back arrow, nothing. Just a + sign to add a provider, and an Edit link to edit it. Nothing else. How do I get back to the app?.Version: 9.6.4

Blood oxygenIt is good and useful application, what I don’t like is tasks with Blood oxygen no matter how many times you fill out it is more coming out. I don’t have that little monitor and you have to give people option to enter blood oxygen in percentage what they get on theirs smart watch not harass me with pressure from that monitor Edgar.Version: 10.2.3

Excellent toolMy mother has been poorly for approximately 9 months and has experienced many out patient’s appointments, as well as hospital stays. This App has been a godsend in following her journey & by me being linked, I can support her in arranging her visits and care, and update the rest of the family too. I would wholeheartedly recommend downloading this App, it’s an excellent tool for contacting the correct departments and relevant medical staff. The only criticism is that at times I would like to download some of the letters but this if available, is quite difficult to navigate. I tried once but it wasn’t the document I requested..Version: 10.5.2

The Ultimate Medical ConvenienceBreast Cancer has been no walk in the park. But from the beginning of this ordeal, I have found reliable and secure communication and information regarding my treatment through MYCHART. My appointments are scheduled, confirmed and if needed, changed, via MYCHART. I’m able to message my doctors and receive prompt responses, view test results and images, check my balances due, make payments and so much more. I even share important information with my son, saving me many calls and explanations. I have friends and family in West Texas and they are, for the most part, in the dark about their medical situation unless they are at the doctor’s office or have received emails providing info. They are very impressed that I can login to MYCHART and access my doctors, nurses and volumes of information. Even though I’ve had a tough 2021, it’s been comforting to have a talented team of doctors from MDA and MYCHART to relay information to and from my providers. In short, it’s convenient and IT’S GENIUS!.Version: 9.9.2

MyChartThe app MyChart is probably the best thing for keeping up with your medical appointments/issues it makes it quick and easy to schedule an appointment you don’t have to go threw all the hassle of calling the place waiting, and getting switched to different departments I got an appointment with my doctor in under 30 seconds from my phone no hassle plus, MyChart allows you to see all your tests results in great detail down to the percentages and the range your supposed to be in, it also allows you to with a click of a button communicate with your doctor if you have a question or concern about a test or issue, I highly recommend this app if you are a patient and my chart is compatible it makes life so much easier by keeping all your medical appointments/medications/shots/tests results all in one place making it impossible to forget. The 5 star rating is deserved for this app don’t miss out download and sign up.Version: 10.3.1

ErrorsWas working wonderfully well until recently. Now it shows "0" instead of the doctor's name. Frustrating.Version: 10.5.1

FantasticOh love the app so better then waiting on results and waiting on appointments by post also updates regarding your health I would definitely recommend this app especially if you are having test done or about to have some kind of surgery it really is fantastic explaining everything to you at the tip of your fingers , your doctor your meds your past medical history and lot more . ⭐️.Version: 10.2.7

Works amazingly for me!I can see upcoming and past appointments plus treatment summaries and letters. This app avoids wasting paper, gives me a long medical history to give to clinicians and do all my appointment preparation on the go! Thank you! I have now thrown away the tome of medical letters, reports and appointment invites for the last 5 years! I don’t need them..Version: 10.5.1

Good serviceI enjoy being able to see my appoints, results and letters all in one place. My only criticism is the delay in posting test results as they are available in a few days but in often takes weeks for the service to post them somewhat removing the benefit as you still have to chase them up on the phone. Really needs to be more responsive to being up to date..Version: 9.9.3

Great for results and informationThis is a brilliant app to keep your hospital test results in one easy to access place, easy to navigate and use and can put multiple people on your profile to keep track of their apts and results, only thing tht would be better is if it can show your medication and all of the apts tht are coming up and referrals made,as this does not come up on mine, apart from that it’s great..Version: 10.6.2

Martha EarlyI found this very useful when doctors are busy i have gotten results back before a doctor visit and was able to ask questions regarding treatment, beautiful……...Version: 10.5.1

Best App!I wish all the hospitals would get on board with it. It is a great tool to be able to give information to our family doctor..Version: 10.5.1

HEALTH LINK - REPORTINGHaving COVID, ACT COVID-19 Team put me onto this reporting system. Any issues are immediately acknowledged, other daily heath readings are saved and uploaded to those monitoring my heath. Great application..Version: 10.2.6

Very very frustratingI’ve tried to log in to the organization that I’m receiving my health records from. This app keeps on asking me to reset my password or try again ....then I reset my password and the same thing happens...like Ground Hog Day..Version: 9.4.6

Great communication toolMy Chart is a brilliant way of centralising all my information, particularly test results. I haven’t come across any downsides - although occasionally I see a letter that is then taken down again and so no longer visible. My only gripe is that My Chart has not been adopted by my GP is a neighbouring county. This means that they are not up to date with my test results and so they expect me to undergo duplicated tests..Version: 10.4.2

RomThanks you for making this app❤️ awesome very fast and convienient.Version: 10.5.2

Very handyHaving the app makes it so quick and easy for me to see results for my labs and tests. Definitely an asset in todays medical care.Version: 10.5.1

BEST APP EVER SEENI can see the hardworking and comforting by PM IT team. Thank you for saving lives..Version: 10.5.1

Every hospital should have this appI think the title of this review says it all. I am able to manage my healthcare mire effectively as I have all information to hand C and can contact the hospital with any minor issues. It is also useful when going to another hospital as I just hand my phone to the doctors etc and they have all the information they need to assist my care. Best app on the market.Version: 9.9.2

MyChart and rescheduling appointmentsAfter I submitted my original review I found out that I could ask for a rescheduling of my appointments. I was so pleased. It is an excellent system. MyChart is an excellent way of communication. For the first time I could see the results of my tests, the consultants reviews and my forthcoming appointments. However the frustration starts if you try to change an appointment and the only thing you get from the other end is an answering machine. I have an appointment for ultrasound, I have tried the department, the operator, the outpatient bookings and still I have failed to reschedule this appointment. It is not good enough telling me that missed appointments cost the nhs £160 if you don’t provide an easy way of rescheduling them. This is not a direct criticism of the MyChart which is great but a suggestion for further improvements.Version: 10.4.2

Great healthcare App!!MyChart is a one-stop shop for any doctor that subscribes to rgis swevuce!! I can gwt appointments, chwcj my appointment details (like when to arrive, the address (my docs in MyChart use nyltiple locations for appointments!! I could map the route too if im unfamiliar with any location!! The feature I yae most is sending and receiving messages to/from my doctors!! I csn ask medicsl or non-medical questions in an urgent or non-urgent setting and I receive an App notification when a message is sent to me or a reply is sent too!! This is so convenient bc i dislike calling!! Lol!! Also the e-check-in is convenient for not hsving to review a lot of information when I arrive st the office…its now already done!! Grest App if your doctor usues it!! Obly downside in my opinion is not being sble to use emojis in messages!! But thats a minor issue in a sea of good!! Will hope to see the use of emojis ensbled in the future!! Ibstead ill just have to specify an emotiob like <shrug>. Lol. Shrug!!.Version: 10.4.1

MycareIt’s good , however when it cancels one and reschedules a appointment . Just shows as normal new appt , confusing alert reads CANCELLATION IN BOLD .***** RESCHEDULED **** Shuffle it around . If an appointment is cancelled by hospital should be an ALERT! Hard to spot changes Abbreviations do not work for us public . We are not staff. I have a whole string of msgs with specialist and CK what’s that ? Please don’t forget we are not medically trained or IT . Alert says new summary and then Nothing in summaries. IN menu Specialists LETTER is not a summary ALERT IT A SPECIALISTS LETTER. It is somewhat improved since start. However . considering radical change to remote phone video appointments. Many cancellations actual OPERATIONS. and appointments . Very little has been done to accommodate this. Clear method on how to contact a Tram. How to get medical advise on the specific treatment. EMAIL addresses to contact. Phone numbers if patient needs to cancel allotment . Although this has improved somewhat ..Version: 9.9.3

Very helpfulThis site has been very helpful.Version: 10.1.5

Valuation of the mychart programI find this very highly efficient way to communicate with my healthcare givers. If there is a a problem or concern that is not an immediate emergency, I can send pictures comments and questions about the subject matter and know that appropriate staff will forward this information to the appropriate person. This gives them time to assess what it is I need to know about or advice I may need before contacting me to deal with the situation. The alternative would be to call the office, discuss the situation with whoever I’m connected to and often times the information is not shared with them until the end of the day or in between patient care visits with no additional information for them to make an informed opinion before even talking to me. Whoever reads the mychart information can decide if it needs immediate attention or if it can wait. I feel my healthcare providers and I are given the opportunity to voice concerns and feel that I am a part of my care which is important to me..Version: 10.3.1

Shawn FriesnerGreat application, Very helpful..Version: 9.9.3

Very accessibleI am a blind iPhone user who uses Apple’s Voice Over screen reader function. I have to say that even at a first attempt the app is very good. Certainly an improvement on other hospital based apps. The layout is good and logical. My only improvement I would like to see is to give the patient the cance of entering their own medication. I take a lot of medication which is prescribed by varous departments of different hospitals, so let me keep my own up to dat please. Keep up the good work..Version: 10.2.6

Stress free and easy sign upThe whole process was very easy to sign up and register to access my personal and care plans at Addenbrookes. Going through a very difficult time health wise and this process of registration and being able to access my records and if need be share my information with any medical department I can. Such a brilliant app..Version: 10.3.1

Undoubtedly the best medical app everWe use this app for my daughter who is under GOSH. It has quite literally been a life line for us. We can direct message her nurses who get back to us almost instantly instead of queuing on the phone and being passed pillar to post. We can view all of her hospital letters in one place and look back at all her blood work to see if anything’s changing. 10/10 app.Version: 10.5.2

My chartIs amazing and very helpful tool. I can review my test results, compare old results. Have all my future appointments, send message. It’s really brilliant..Version: 10.5.1

Treatment and use of AppI have had excellent medical care at UCLH both in the past and now with use of the app it makes the experience even better My only challenge with app is my GP and other clinicians at my local hospital don’t have access to the information as they are in another trust and use a different nhs app to record test results and clinical treatments My thanks to all the staff at UCLH for the care & attention I receive.Version: 10.6.2

Foot clinicI must say I was a little nervous about the problems I have and what would need to be done . But after the visit I realised I should not have worried because this team of staff where so efficient and made me feel completely relaxed and although I now realise I have a tuff challenge to get my foot and legs healthy again , I feel good about who's looking after me now . Many thanks to the team .Stephen.Version: 10.2.2

InfoThank you for the opportunity to check notes from the meeting with a Doctor. Very helpful..Version: 10.5.2

Excellent !!My Chart Is Excellent, What A Great Invention! It Saves Time, Confusion, You Have Reassurance Of You Medications Appointments, And More Importantly You Have Your Health Care Information Logged And Safe So You And Your Health Care Professional Can Refer To It When Deciding Your Treatment , Its Also Great For keeping The History Of Appointments , Which Saves You Stressing About Date And Times, Who You Saw And When , Please Continue To Update This Excellent Service ! Thanks Nhs !!.Version: 10.2.7

UsefulI like this app. I can connect with many different people and services. Thanks MyChart.Version: 10.5.1

My ChartI really appreciate having this information, thank you!.Version: 10.5.1

My Chart ReviewIn Communication I see a message ‘Incomplete Questionnaire’ when I open it to complete it says it’s completed. I close it snd it still shows ‘Incomplete Questionnaire’. It is confusing. Some buttons to ‘close’ the current window view are positioned too closely to the trash can or to a log out option. In the appointment message the ‘close’ function was literally next the the trash can push - very inconvenient and dangerous considering the content of this window/ on a small iPhone screen the button positioning is crucial. All good for now otherwise. Thank you..Version: 10.3.1

Love itThis app is great, has everything in one spot, I don’t need to walk away with papers anymore after an appointment as I can just tell them to put it on my portal. I can message my doctors immediately and also echeck-In which saves A LOT of time. Also being able to see all my past appointment and information as well, I can update all of my insurance or medications through the app too. The most important thing to me though is that I am able to have proxy to my daughters profiles so I can easily grab something if needed for medical reasons or need to go back and check something all their papers are there and I can also schedule our appointments through the app and have our tele medicine appointments too (even though I make in person appts because I think it’s more important for the doctor to see you in person) if you can’t make it in and your symptoms are not bad the tele medicine is great. The app is wonderful. Welcome to new age tech. Just keeps getting better and better..Version: 9.9.3

Dis organizedI went to this place little neck and they told me come back at 2 pm I came back early and the place was jammed pack they just told us to wait no number or anything and it’s almost 30 people and a long hours wait still not calling anyone it takes a long hours for me to wait to be tested for my PCR the staff are unfriendly and not compassionate with the patient so rude and the PA who tested me name Riaz Ali ! was a nightmare for me ! for the PCR give me a trauma she was so rude and seems angry when I ask her I’m gonna get a PCR for my travel she doesn’t seems to know and have to ask the other nurses about what kind of test and when she does the Covid test she almost brought the swab to my brain and so hard so painful I almost bleed !! Terrible and horrible person to do that she seems so angry that she did the most painful test in my life!!! That I have to write this review so they can tell the nurses or PA that being in medical it’s there job they should be compassionate and patience with the patients . Specially the person who tested me until now I can’t get over to what she did to me !.Version: 9.9.2

User friendlyUser friendly and very easy to read and navigate through..Version: 10.5.1

Super impressedI’ve been using this app for almost a year or so & I don’t know how I lived without it!! I have multiple health issues & keeping track of Drs. can get very confusing. This app keeps track of all of my Drs. & my appointments. It also gives you a complete list of everything discussed at that appointment, when you need to follow up if need be & a link to contact the Dr. if you need to. The app keeps track of all my medications & you can request refills too. I can also share my chart with anyone I choose to add. So if you need someone to help you navigate appointments this is awesome. Plus it’s just easier for my kids to keep track of what’s going on. I always forget what I talked about with my Dr. so this way my kids know everything. You can also add your appointments directly to your calendar. I can’t think of anything else right now but I’m sure I’m missing something. Lol. I just couldn’t go back to my old way of doing things. This app is priceless & it’s free!! 😉.Version: 9.9.1

Very useful if busy schedule.Works great for keeping up to date with appointment times and keeping track of changes to appointments. Only downside is no remember me feature on log in, but not worth deducting stars from my review..Version: 10.4.2

I love this app but I need a lil help from developers pleaseI have been using MyChart from its conception and have never had an issue ever💝💝💝💝 I go in and play around with it every now and then to see what is new. I do know that if you want to change anything important in your chart like your personal information YOU MUST DO IT FROM THE WEBSITE. I am guessing that is to be sure it is a secure location to provide personal information for HIPPA. Not positive but that would be my guess. My only issue I have is I just read on the website that I can now link my 2 charts together so I do not have to keep signing out of 1 and signing into the other for information needed. I just cannot figure out how to "LINK" both of MYCHARTS. Can you please help me with this???? It is really annoying getting a message from my doctors and I go to MYCART and I sign in and ugh it's the wrong 1 every single time😡😡😡😡 linking them would save some aggravation that's for sure. I already have the app on my iPhone where they both are on the app just need them linked and I'm all set..Version: 5.3

Easy to use!So far it’s easy to use/has good functionality..Version: 10.5.1

Accessing documents for DWPThe app is good and so much better than getting so many letters. However, I still do get some letters. However, as expected, there is no interdepartmental government communication. Big disclaimer from DWP when filling in a PIP claim about data sharing. However, the claim requires a photos or copies of documents. There is no way I am able to share the detailed letter send from the oncologist to my GP. Falling short..Version: 10.6.2

Amazing appSeriously before this app I missed a lot of appointments due to letter turning up after the appointment date but since having this app I’ve missed nothing! All my letters are there the day they are sent out to me, my results there as soon as they in, my next appointments and past appointments all there. It’s great and very well done.Version: 9.8.4

Patient reviewThe most fantastic hospital app I’ve ever come across. You don’t have to wait 2-3 weeks to get a letter/get an appointment confirmation/to get test results etc. Everything gets uploaded immediately and you get an email alert saying when it is uploaded. I would like to see more hospitals using this app to benefit patients just as much as it benefits me..Version: 10.4.2

ExcellentThe app is a great dashboard and data collection centre. It’s very simple and easy to navigate. But what drives it is people, not just those who have developed it (thank you all) but those who input data and push it to me the patient. That’s why it’s so good. One place to go or be alerted to go to. All my appointments, test bookings, test results, all pushed to me quick as. I was on the phone making an appointment and boom, it hit my phone before I’d even said thank you and goodbye. All I need in one place and helping the NHS become more efficient and work with the best people to do the best job they can, in difficult circumstances. It’s really excellent and keeps me informed. If it stops even just a few of the missed appointments from occurring, because it’s in your hand, then good. It will ultimately pay for itself..Version: 10.4.2

So Beneficial! My daughters have a lot of minor health problems and have to see several specialists. We try to keep them in the same health care system, but that’s not always possible. When a doctor asks what medicine they’ve been on or when they’ve been on a medication or seen another specialist for a problem, it’s all right there at my fingertips. Our previous pediatrician used this app and so did the specialists, which made it even easier. We moved, and our new pediatrician’s office doesn’t use this app. It has frustrated me on numerous occasions. Now I write everything down in case I need it. I’m constantly asking them to please get MyChart! I’m glad that our specialists use it, and hopefully the pediatrician’s office will get it soon!!! This app has been such a lifesaver for us!!! It’s so convenient and easy to navigate. I can even send messages (with pictures!) straight to their specialists, even in the middle of the night. This is the best app that I have on my phone!.Version: 9.9.3

Great AppI love seeing my test results, follow up apps and consultations all in one place. More people should know about this app!.Version: 10.5.2

Furthermore Detail Would be BeneficialMy Care is good, however it does not provide as much information as I used to have from the previous data base I had access to as a kidney patient. That database gave explanations as to what the blood results related to and had links providing further info. Also I could see the results as soon the test had been completed, not two weeks or more later as it is now. Also I have had all of the normal Covid vaccinations and the boosters but none of these are posted on My Care. It does however show an outstanding Covid test dated 6 June for which they haven’t entered the result, although I know I was negative!!.Version: 10.2.7

Can’t long in on my iPhoneHello, Initial log in was easy jn my iPhone. As well as in my Mac. Today a week later, I can log In on my mac but not on my iPhone, using the same username and password, Suggestions? Thanks.Version: 10.5.2

Excellent AppThe information contained in the app is very clear, complete and is updated by the hospital very quickly. I can see future appointments as soon as they are confirmed without the need to wait for post which is often delayed. I can also see at a glance the information sent to my GP surgery, especially useful as the GP surgery is very slow to process and update my GP records..Version: 10.4.2

Love MyChartI love MyChart. Truly brilliant. I’m in the hospital and see many patient benefits almost like a patient advocate in the sense that you have insight into all your past, current, and projected care plan with test results and those scheduled with approximate times… what is not to like! I liked it before the hospital stay as it gives the same insight into lab results, other procedures in the same timely fashion. It helps me form the right questions for when the doctor meets with me. The only thing I would suggest is that you let the patient (with caveat) update /add/ show recent dosage changes) to their prescriptions as pending until they are validated by a medical responsible member. I had 4 that I Restored, 3 that were old / no longer prescribed, and a few that the dosage were outdated. Otherwise, I most heartily declare that this is light years ahead of 10 years ago. Thanks for bringing the patient into the knowledge and conversation of there healthcare. Sincerely, Dave Palmer.Version: 10.3.1

HelpfulThis aap is really helpful I can see my results there and it’s gave me all my information..Version: 10.5.1

Great for tracking changesA really useful tool to monitor and track results and any changes in repeat tests. It helps you to see what’s going on with your own results, not like the old days when such information, even though it’s about you, was restricted to the G.P. and you struggled to get hold of them. Recommend!.Version: 10.3.1

Amazing AppI would thoroughly recommend this app to anybody that has regular hospital appointments. Letters are usually there within hours of the appointment and you can also see test results, albeit quite a while after you have had them. I think my only criticism would be that you can’t print anything from it.Version: 10.4.2

Easy access to all my family’s critical health informationI love how easy it is to access my family’s critical medical information like lab results, MRI & X-ray findings, upcoming scheduled appointments, previous visits with our doctors, medication lists, request refills for our medications if unable to get to the pharmacy, viewing doctor’s after visits reports & follow-up notes (we can print hard copies for our children’s medical records for their special education files at their schools; “They” can’t claim “They” didn’t know!), and doctor’s letters for excused absence from school/work due to appointments or ER visits. You can also request to schedule appointments through the app, and connect via Telehealth/Zoom doctor appointments, too. However, my absolute most favorite element of this application, and in my opinion the genius idea behind this application’s creation, contacting your healthcare providers with the utmost of ease, and getting a response from them, their team or office generally the same day or within 24 hours! Then being able to print that response in a hard copy for our children’s health records, again for school, is the absolute best thing I could ever have asked for in a medical application! What more could you want from this application?.Version: 10.3.1

Why doesn’t every NHS trust offer this app!I am under UCLH and find this app excellent. It’s very user friendly and all the info of my appointments and test results are on there. It’s ideal for me as I often lose letters so I have everything I need in the palm of my hand. It surprises me that so few hospitals use this app but I’m sure it’s going to expand to more eventually. It’s fantastic!!.Version: 10.6.2

Need better delete optionI’m having a mastectomy and it keeps telling me to get a mammogram. I already got mammograms before and need to remove that and Cant. It clogged up my patient info so that I didn’t get a call back promptly for breast biopsy Followup. I was told to come back next years by office staff because they thought I wasn’t taking tests, non compliant etc. I don’t know why but I expect it’s the computer program blocking pertinent info about a patient and clogging the system with inaccurate info. System gets bogged down and becomes confusing to everyone. There needs to be an easy way for someone to update symptoms and procedures. Having a computer network like this is essential and can save lives so I appreciate it but keep working on making it more efficient and responsive. There should also be a confidential area that requires another password and a notes area. There should be a way I can enter information without having to scroll through ten pages and then given a small box that is not bug enough for info. I would like to enter info about the previous surgeon and hospital I have gone to and there should be an easy way to do this. There should also be a security aspect to it if someone does not want a specific person to visit them in the hospital or to have access to them..Version: 9.9.1

Very Useful AppI have found MyChart very good, initiated for me by UCHL. Appointment’s , test results & other useful information all available in one place. Appointments can be added to your calendar direct from the App & necessary forms completed within the messaging section. I would recommend this App if available for anyone undergoing medical treatment..Version: 10.3.1

Love appAbsolutely love this new app. Everything is in one place and I can go and view all my test results!.Version: 10.4.2

Review of the MyChart appThe app was very good, ensured that I measured and recorded all of the required health data, ensured that I filled out the questionnaires and was very convenient to use. It might be helpful to include an explanation somewhere for the layperson of what the %SpO2 means. Thank you..Version: 10.1.3

Excellent appFinally health care is moving into the 21st century! This app is very welcome. All I need to know in one, easy to use app. I get email notifications of any changes, letters, appointments etc. Simply tap on the link and all the details are available with just a few taps. I’ve been trying to think of possible improvements but I can’t think of one for MyChart. I guess the only thing that could be improved is for the NHS to stop sending me appointment details via the post when I’ve already been informed by MyChart. Thank you. Excellent app..Version: 10.2.6

AccessConvenient and easy access. Instantly able to review results.Version: 10.5.1

Knowledge is powerThis app is fantastic, and I can’t express how grateful I am for the ease of checking appt details, results that post, and submitting questions to my care team directly! I have notifications setup to alert me of all the above, and this helps me to stay in control of the steps I need to take for my diagnosis of PV..Version: 10.4.2

Extremely Helpful and easy to use!Recommend this APP to everyone undergoing hospital treatment especially cancer patients..Version: 10.5.1

Really usefulI have been using the app for a couple of years and really find it useful. It’s very easy to use and there is plenty of info available. The only thing I wish you could have access to is notes from the nurses and Doctor’s daily during your hospital stay. Right now all you can read is the notes about your release from the hospital..Version: 10.5.2

Paperless information at your fingertipsGreat idea, no paper required. Nice that information is readily available. Keep all your appointments in one place and the ability to contact clinics electronically instead of being on hold for ages before being connected to a call centre with no clinical answers. Only downside, Not all clinics are contactable via My Chart and GPs aren’t connected to sync clinical notes. Still better than having letters all over the place..Version: 10.5.2

👍🏻It’s pretty cool. I think it’s quite new and took a lot of attempts before I could get it to work but now it does it’s very interesting to see my notes. Very helpful for appointments etc. left one star off as I can’t access X-rays and I think that would be a good think to make available to us. It would be good to see what’s been done so in my operation so I could understand better..Version: 10.3.1

HandyIt’s super convenient. You can check on up coming appointments and have access to the follow up care paperwork afterwards in my experience within mins of leaving my appointment. You can message your doctor or nurse directly if you have medical questions and if you have other questions like billing that’s also available as an option but it’s one I’ve yet to use so unfortunately I can’t give any information on what it offers. You can check on your referrals. You can make almost all your appointments through mychart also. I really like and appreciate apps like these where I can do almost everything I need to from my phone. I have panic attacks knowing I have to call and talk to someone most days and I get upset and embarrassed and I won’t call and get services for myself but with mychart I can take care of all of it with my phone then just show up to my appointment on time. It’s been the best thing for me.Version: 10.1.4

Sharing information.I am scheduled to have a kidney stone removed next week. I had an appointment for pre op visit with urologist followed by a pre admission appointment at Piedmont Rockdale. I received a call from Rhonda with out patient admissions and explained to me that she could see in My Chart, that I had an EKG done within a couple of weeks at my cardiologist visit and it also showed that I was vaccinated at the Piedmont Vaccine Clinic and had a booster at the health department. She told me that with this information, there was no need for me to come to the hospital for pre admission. They would call the day before to ask some questions and give me my instructions and that they could do blood work the day of my procedure. So because of the information that is shared in My Chart, it saved me a trip to the hospital and gave back time to the pre admissions team to help other patients. This is a great example of how My Chart is beneficial to patients, physicians and the hospitals..Version: 9.9.3

Fairly useful applicationThis app is useful for checking lab results and having reminders of appointments at Addenbrookes. It would be nice if things were coordinated across facilities. I also have appointments with my GP and Papworth which are not noted in this app. The most annoying thing is that you cannot alter certain historical items, such as family history and social history. It seems as if this would be very valuable information for clinicians to have without having to question you, but the app will not allow you to add this information on your own..Version: 10.6.2

My chart appI’m really liking the app for keeping things in one place..would be awesome to have more hospitals avail to merge..I currently attend 3 different hospitals and only 1 is available on my chart...Version: 10.5.1

Update: Please put a heading for Referrals!!!Update: They finally put a heading for where the Referrals are! This makes it sooo much easier! I feel very happy that the developers listen to the parents/patients needs in regards to using this app. I have 6 children and 2 elderly parents I take care of so having the MyChart App has been a godsend. It is really great to be able to go through each persons name and send messages and take care of all their medical business at once. Thank you to the developers and technicians for continuously updating this app for the better! Previous review: I can never find my referrals because they are always hidden somewhere in letters or messages. I have to go through at least 5 steps every time and it is frustrating because it never seems to be in the same place twice. I just want a heading that says Referrals. Please give us this small convenience in 2020. Thank you.Version: 9.8.3

Portable Oxygen SensorI don’t have a portable oxygen sensor. Is it possible the system can be modified so that: 1. It’s possible to indicate to the system that I don’t have such a device 2. The task of recording oxygen levels not be generated in such situations.Version: 10.2.2

Christopher GloverThe app is fantastic! So helpful and easy to use. However, Mr NHS why are you still posting paper appointments reminders to people? I understand not everyone uses smart devices but why not have an option on the app to ‘opt out’ of receiving ‘paper appointment’ reminders. Think of the money it would save the NHS, and not to mention the environment! Otherwise - Well done!.Version: 10.1.1

Update your contact informationHate that it is forever asking me to update my contact info. Always and forever. With no way to get rid of it… For the most part, I like it and it works really well. But wait, before you go, don’t forget to update your contact information. Just in case you missed it, please update your contact info. Now, just to be sure, we are reminding you that this message will never leave and will haunt you till you die, but before then, please update your contact information. Lol. MyChart can take that request and use it for a rectal examination. Epic responded to my criticism and said it was setup that way by my provider and I should contact them. Thank you for the response and information. We all know how dismissive providers are over abusive hospital billing practices, I really don’t think they are going take the time to correct an annoying pop up message. So, I’ll just have to get over it. Just like I had to just get over the 30k bill I got for appendicitis. At least you responded. I’m adding two stars..Version: 10.2.1

MyChart MagicThis is the level of medical service and support one expects in the 21st century. Everything from messaging a doctor, booking an appointment, joining an online appointment, checking test results, reading post appointment notes… Everything is directly at your fingertips, exactly where it should be in todays world. It’s a feeling of freedom and effortless control which I never thought would be possible in our medical climate, but sure enough, here it is and I honestly don’t know how I existed prior to having it as a part of my daily life. If you’re someone like myself, who suffers from multiple chronic illnesses, it’s an absolute necessity and life changer. It puts an end to the feeling of being completely trapped and suffocated by your illnesses and allows you to actually have and experience a life again. If your doctor is not a member, pressure them to make the leap into the 21st century and a new way of thinking about medicine..Version: 10.3.2

Thankful for this appThis app is everything you need to be in control and have access to your healthcare (or your parents, spouse etc with consent). Lab and other test results populate as soon as they’re done. You can view all notes from your doctor appointments. Medications can be reviewed, you can request refills or have prescriptions mailed to you. You can pay your bill, make your own appointments, correspond with your doctor. Me personally-I love that I get the radiology reports as soon as the images are read, I can view my lab results sometimes before my doctor even gets them. If you don’t want to get test results before your doctor has a chance to review them, you can turn this feature off. I like that I can make or change my own appointments ahead of time. I feel more in control over MY info. Best of all, this app lets you access records for other clinics hospitals etc who also use MyChart. It’s simple to switch from one to another..Version: 10.2.6

Worrying about resultsIt’s great that the results (eg from blood tests or x-rays) come back so quickly and you can see them yourself on the app, but not knowing how to interpret the results or what they mean can lead to a lot of unnecessary worrying. I had to wait for a week to speak to a doctor about my latest results - in which time I’d googled a lot of answers (all wrong) and convinced myself something bad was happening, so it would be good to have a little more detail or links to official advice about the results when they get sent out..Version: 10.5.2

Great but NOT user friendlyThe app is great for keeping up with my appointments, communicating with the doctor, refilling prescriptions. However, when it indicates that there is a new message, I’m not sure which message is new unless I look at the date. My inbox reflect that I have two messages. When I click on the inbox tab, nothing happens. It would be nice if when I click on it, it go straight to the new messages and the indication of “two new messages” disappears reflecting that I have read the messages. It would also be nice if there is an indication of some sort to show that there are new messages and which ones are NEW. In regards to the “to do list,” it would be ideal if I could decline the options or have a yes or no button or something to show that I don’t need to do what it’s indicating. For example, my dental office is totally different from my primary care physician and they keep telling me my dental appointment is overdue. I wish there was some way I could tell it no or not applicable. Additionally, it keeps telling me I’m overdue for an influenza shot. I have never, and will never, get one so to be able to decline or simply say “not applicable” would be great. If these minor disturbances could be fixed, it would be a five star app for me..Version: 9.2.1

My Chart/My MarsdenI’m currently a patient at The Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital and this app has been an absolute game-changer for me. I’m so impressed with how easy it is to use. Communication with my team at The Marsden was great before the app but now it’s even better where I can view all my upcoming appointments, read letters almost immediately after my consultations, get alerts from pharmacy for collections and of course I love the messaging part which means that I can communicate directly with the incredible team taking care of me. All in all, really great app from a patient’s perspective! Well done!!.Version: 10.4.2

Enjoy the access to records and communication, be careful with paymentsThis app is excellent for getting communication back and forth with your physician and office staff, as well as allowing you to read comments on your conditions, test results, upload shot records and other information quickly. You can schedule appointments and make adjustments as needed. The ONLY downside I’ve found is that I had a hassle with my FSA company who said paying my bill through MyChart did not give them enough information to prove that the service I received was really through a physician or their healthcare facility, and wanted me to provide a bunch of other information to them. I couldn’t, as it was an online electronic payment, there was no receipt generated for me proving it was through a medical facility, no title, address, logo or other thing that would satisfy them. So I have to resort to writing checks with the paper bill insert and they will approve that. I wish there was some way the app could have more medical info/logo or some proof that would satisfy the FSA so I could pay through the app, it would be so much more convenient. Other than this, the app is great and meets most of my needs..Version: 10.3.2

This app is greatI love this app. It allows me to keep track of all my appointments and medications, and it allows me the ability to e-check in to my appointments before I arrive. This has been a lifesaver for me and I couldn’t be happier. One thing though: I do wish that when appointments were changed/canceled, it would notify/alert me. Last month, my husband took me to an outpatient center I’ve been attending where I thought I had an appointment, only to find out that wasn’t the case. I made sure I checked before we left and it said that was the day and time I had. When we arrived (after a 2 1/2 hour drive), we found out that wasn’t the case. I had no alerts/notifications from the app that the appointment had changed. If there was a way to alert/notify patients of appointment changes/rescheduling, that would be wonderful and it would make this app 10,000 times better..Version: 9.9.1

Great resultsReally love getting my test results for me to look at and then a doctors review of them.Version: 10.5.2

My Chart reviewI find the app very useful. My daughter lives in Northern Ireland and has availability to the App and so is able to keep track on my health situation. Same applies to one of my sons who lives near by but acts as my carer, in particular with the medication I am taking . The App also came in useful when visiting my local A&E as the A&E doctor was able to compare the blood results taken at the Marsden three days earlier and decide on treatment with that in mind..Version: 10.6.2

OutpatientMyChart is great! Saves a lot of time ringing, making contact with consultations. Since having long Covid I forgot many a times and missed my appointment. I now can see a day before or I can change my appointment if it’s the wrong time/ day etc The only downfall is that we ( the patients) get results ie blood tests before our GPs do. For someone like me starts a panic attack if the results look bad. That leaves me stressing and having anxiety until I’ve spoken with my GP the following morning. The GP cannot see what’s on MyChart and waits for the hospital to send them the info. Therefore this I think needs changing. GP’s should have access to it to make MyChart a full time with all the Healthproviders and the patient’s GP. Well Wishes Thank you 🙏.Version: 10.4.2

Keeping informedWhilst our Mother, who’s over 90 years young, would struggle to use this App, we have registered our contact details (obviously with her consent) so that we receive all the notifications, appointments & results and then show her what is going on. It really is a very simple and effective way of keeping the patient fully informed of their appointments & their results, as well as any changes in their condition. This App is very well designed and straightforward and if the Patient can’t use it, a Family Member or Friend could, with their consent..Version: 10.6.2

Very helpfulDue to my extensive heath history this app makes it super effective to make contacting my doctors fast and efficient. It’s allowed me to see I was actually experiencing issues long before symptoms started to show. And having the ability to have an actual educating conversation with my doctor upon scheduled appointment because we both are able to be on the same page allowing me to advocate for my health to the best of my non educated ability. Because this app I’m able to ask the appropriate questions and receive details I probably wouldn’t have asked because of being unaware. Sometimes I believe keeping up with seeing results for yourself help your overall day to day living. Even though I put the hunt for answers aside because it was affecting my day to day with doctors having conflicting ideologies with their suspicions of diagnoses this app was a game changer and I will use this again when I decide to pursue my journey to find out again!.Version: 10.4.2

My chart in the UHN portalMy chart and the portal are amazing all the information I need very quickly, very quick response to my inquiry, love it Andrew B.Version: 10.5.1

Overall excellent except for AARP Medicare from United HealthCare tracking. While it is UHC’s change of processing claims office with new Group number and Health ID, it is the same insurance as all year except the Medicare UHC card had old processing off info. So, chaos happened when using only UHC card I had as they had not sent out the new cards yet and did not tell me or the doctors that the old processing office was no longer sending the claims along to the new office, the old UHC Provider processor was just deleting the claims! When I first got bills and saw on MyChart no coverage and called my customer service number, UHC customer service could not even find the claims! Many calls of two or more a week, most claims are found at new processing office after re-submit an email to the new POBox etc. and although the doctors “bill collectors” say this is on hold, in que for processing at new office for what MyChart say is way past due…. MyChart still says not covered and I need to pay—-inaccurately! This is causing me anxiety no matter how many times I call the doctors’ billing office and am reassured it is still processing and UHC says all claims have been paid! While it is UHC’s slow new processing problem, I would MyChart to correctly reflect what the doctor’s bill collectors say is the real status…re-submitted and processing with corrected insurance coverage office..Version: 10.2.6

I Love This AppI love this app! All my medical documentation/information secure in one easy spot so it organized and I don’t have to wait until I see my doctor for test results..Version: 10.5.1

Great appThis app is easy to use and navigate..Version: 10.5.2

Very Useful AppI am very thankful that I have the information provided on this site at my fingertips almost as quickly as the Dr. It has been helpful for me to look back through my test results over the past months to get a visual picture of my health. I am more apt to control dietary and other medical issues when I can easily look up the facts about my health. The ability to forward appointments directly to my calendar is a substantial time saver and makes it mistake proof. The ability to message with the staff of my medical professionals has also been a great benefit. I am able to get questions answered in writing, in a timely fashion. The only portion of the App I have found lacking is the Log In. A number of times, I have had to reset my PIN for access to my account. Now the App will not even accept a PIN. I have to type my password each time I need access to my account. It may seem like a small thing, but either the PIN feature works or it doesn't. If it doesn't consistently work, eliminate the feature..Version: 10.2.4

AccessFar too many messages, taking far too long to log in, potentially excellent but over complicated for the none medically trained or the elderly. Can cause concern that the patient hasn't responded correctly or that treatment may be held up pending some input on this APP. A brilliant idea, but adds to stress when one is having treatment, simply because the terminology used is high-end medical!.Version: 10.3.2

Helpful appI think that this is a very helpful app for patients and health professionals alike. I think there needs to be some tweaking with tasks, ie if an oximeter is not available to that patient then they should either be able to remove the task or have a not applicable button. I have also not been able to add my medications to date, which I think is very useful. Other than that I would like to be able to assign a text tone to it. I think it’s a great start! ☺️.Version: 10.1.5

Could be betterThis app is great for a number of reasons besides checking test results and appointment reminders. •Through the app I can email my doctor directly, (very often they or they’re nurse will respond within a few hours so I assume the app makes that easier for them as well. •The app has a list of my meds (accurate only if you reported it accurately to the doctor) and provides an easy way to ask the doctor for a refill.•I can request an appointment from a established doctor •I can view and even pay my bill. All of these are things I can do securely through this app. It is very useful. What I CANNOT do is make notes. Currently I use this app only for check appointment times and the occasional email to the doctor. But I would use it weekly if I had the ability to make private notes. A note associated with a recent visit. Notes on possible drug benefits or side effects as I experience them. Notes on questions to as at upcoming appointments. Associating these notes with the drug or appointment or doctor directly within the app; helps keep me organized and would improve my healthcare as it makes it more likely I’ll remember details of a visit and concerns I need to bring up at the next visit..Version: 8.6.3

By far the best thing an NHS hospital has doneInstead of wasting hundreds of millions on grandiose IT projects, this hospital trust has taken the smart route and not re-invented a wonky wheel and bought a proven ready made product. This is the standard ALL UK hospital trusts should follow, instead of each doing their own half baked thing. No wonder the NHS has been the world’s biggest fax user! 😂 The only complaint I have is how the hospital has implemented its security, where it locks up more frequently than any bank application despite having biometric authentication. What’s the point of having biometric if you are going to lock out users because they don’t look at their hosp app everyday, and only once every 3 months when a test is due?? You can’t use the security model for bill paying apps here, bills get paid monthly, hosp appointments are much less frequent for most. Wake up!.Version: 10.4.2

Great new featuresFinally shows sent mail and whether it has been read by staff or not. Collects all kinds of data in one place that you need. Not perfect, but still indispensable: 5 stars but could still use major work. Example: e-checkin allows you to add/delete meds, allergies, conditions before your appointment when you have the info handy, but this data doesn’t appear on the clinic’s computer for the doctor once you get there: major flaw! The databases should sync, or there is no point. Also, requested add/delete info never gets added/deleted by the doctors/staff (possibly because they don’t see it?). Would also like ability to send the same message to multiple doctors at once; currently only one doctor gets the message: no way to add or CC others. Ability to add appointments directly to your phone’s calendar with the click of a button ROCKS! Scheduling is very limited, however. Pluses and minuses, but keep up the good work!.Version: 9.1.5

My ChartMy chart app is very useful. It provides all information about patient history as well as well upcoming appointments. It’s also a good tool to communicate with your doctor and make an appointment or any other information exchange.Version: 10.4.2

BlessingHaving the ability to view all your appointments all your test is definitely a blessing. Thank you My Chart . Book appointments, etc...Version: 10.5.1

Fantastic! Results within a day! I only wish I understood them. This is a really great service and feel it’s the future. The only problem is, I don’t understand a lot of the results. It’s easy to see your results are good or fairly good if they’re in the middle groin, it’s when they’re not it’s worrying. Keep up the great work.Version: 10.4.2

Easy to NavigateI love this app! It helps me keep things between me and the health clinic organized and precise!.Version: 10.5.2
