✓ Interesting... But does it work?I found this app after searching for the inception one and at £0.59p I thought I would give it a go. I've tried it for two nights so far and to be honest I've dreamed LESS than I normally do! It's a shame that there isn't more information in the help files detailing optimum settings etc, I know that it's about experimentation etc, but further details wouldn't hurt. It's not easy sleeping with headphones in, but that's the only way you can use the program due to the way the creators state it works. The ambient sounds are relaxing and they can be used without the brainwaves. Personally I would like to see more ambient sounds included in the future, I.e. Rainforest noises, chirping frogs etc. I also defy anyone to find the flowing creek relaxing! Just made me need the loo. I think part of the lack of my success with this program (I mean it's only been two nights.....) is that I set the duration too long. Both nights I woke up during the night, removed the headphones and went back to sleep. I set the first night to 6 hours and the second to 4 hours, I guess I hadn't made it much past the initial relaxation stage as that would be extended too... I'll keep trying it to see if I get any positive results!.DegeneratemooVersion: 4.0

✓ ITunes is not playingI’ve been using this app for months now and I love it. It is soothing and I have been dreaming more. However, lately whenever I tried to play the brainwaves with my iTunes music as the ambience, the sound for my music is mute. I’ve done everything I know to do but I am unable to resolve this issue. ✓ Not to happyI don't usually pay for apps and this is an example to why. You don't get to chose the frequency with this app just a general range such as Delta or Theta. I have been trying to mix it up with ambience to achieve the Monroe Institute like tracks but unfortunately ambience options are not pure for instance the 'pink noise' has sounds and noises in them - poor quality programming. ✓ Doesn't work for me :(I'm sorry to say, but this app has done nothing to help improve my ability to dream. I intentionally waited awhile before writing this because I wanted to give an accurate review, and I find it annoying when people prematurely rate an app as awesome or terrible before they've really used it much at all. I've been using this app for about a month now and it's never influenced me to dream a single time. I even bought special headphones I can sleep in, which I've wanted for awhile now anyway, and even that didn't help. The ambient sounds are nice and relaxing (I especially like the rain and thunderstorm) and the app has a cool layout that looks like genuine effort was put into building it. But like I said it doesn't do a thing for my dreams. Sometimes theres a gap of silence between the tones/stages (despite me tweaking the settings to prevent this) which is annoying and disrupts the process of trying to relax & fall asleep. I haven't completely given up on it, but my faith has waned considerably that this will eventually work. Keeping the app, but I'm also browsing the store for something else. Its a shame because I really had high hopes for this and I really wish it worked on me, but it doesn't :(.NellyWetmoreVersion: 5.2
