When I go to the main page, click on the latest issue of the magazine, it tells me to purchase, even though I am logged in. I am way behind with my reading. ✓ Was better beforeI had both the People and the EW apps with subscriptions and had no troubles with either of the apps. Now I can't access my library or the store without the apps crashing. ✓ Terrible application and terrible supportThis application does not work. You pay for the issue, and it downloads. When it's finally done doing that, you have to install the issue as well. The graphics are low-resolution and blurry. The main screen is clunky and unattractive. Nothing about this new version is an upgrade. I agree fully with the other reviews: this is a major step BACKWARD. Shame on you, People, for disappointing your loyal subscribers. In a digital age, you cut corners and reduced quality while still charging the exact same price. ✓ Do not purchase on iTunes (no family share)Do not purchase this on iTunes. It doesn’t do family share. I was ordering for a loved one in the hospital who is on my family share. The app doesn’t sign you up for an account so you can’t sign in later on the app or online to try to trouble shoot. I phoned People Magazine and spent over an hour on 2 days with People Magazine help line. They kept going around in circles trying to ask for my login details or subscription number which wasn’t set up when I purchased it on iTunes. The only thing I had was an email confirmation that I paid for the subscription. I asked for manager and was on hold for 30 min and then got disconnected. I would have given this 0 stars if I could. Though I’m not patient with their online articles beside the issue, however because I prefer reading my digital copy anywhere which includes being offline. Cons: - They let go of the links and other interactive things that I liked before. I liked the tap to go straight to the cover article. This time around, the issue is just like a pdf or jpeg. - Downloads are terribly unreliable, I’ve to attempt 3 or more than even ten times before I successfully download an issue, unlike before.
