✓ Easy on the eyesHaving been on Facebook for sometime now I've been hoping that I could personalize my home page, just got tired of Facebook blue. well, this app does that and more. sometime due to bad eyesight I just can't read some new posts, with this program it was an easy fix, just changed the text format and voila. This program is not a complete replacement for Facebook because of some obvious limitations. ✓ Useful memory saver for Facebook and Twitter usersWith only a 16 GB iPad memory space became an issue for me. The FB app used a lot of space so I tried various alternatives. I found Facely HD to be a good replacement, not only for FB but also Twitter. As a gmail user I prefer Outlook to the Apple Mail app on my iPhone and Facely HD provides a similar gmail UI on the iPad which saves a bit more space. It also replaces the Google Calendar, Drive, Maps and News apps if required, as well as a number of other apps which I don't use. The downsides are that I sometimes find the touchscreen unresponsive and I haven't found a way to show notifications on the Facely HD icon on the iPad home screen..Version: 4.0.2

✓ A Rare Top Notch OverhaulI'm usually not one to be a big fan of drastic overhauls, but this one is the exception to the rule. You see, Facely was starting to look old, outdated, and neglected. For years it lingered in limbo running on a crusty old style sheet. So when they announced that they were upgrading the look and feel, I wasn't expecting much. However, this upgrade has far exceeded my expectation. It is an upgrade in every sense of the word! The layout is fresh and new and the addition of other social networks is a big plus. There is one thing that I'm not quite fond of though. That is when you click on a link inside one of the tabs, another side window opens which seems to serve no purpose. As frustrating as this is, I decided to leave my rating of four because I want to show support for the overhaul which I think is excellent. Rarely have I ever shown such mercy. That must mean I REALLY like these changes! But please... fix that annoying tab before I change my mind..Version: 4.0.0

✓ Working Great for me!I purchased this app yesterday 10/16 and it was the same as described before me, the live feed wasn't working, it wasn't current and it was out of order. The ability to change the look and font of the pages is fun!!! But I have to agree, if the basic abilities of FB didn't work, then what's the point. 24 hours later and for me the live news feed is working GREAT! I love how its a live feed, I'm able to check click on my Friends and get three more tabs that include groups and phone numbers. It's very user friendly and am not at this point sorry to have paid the $5..Version: 0

✓ Good App with minor issuesVery recently, I started a new FB account using nothing more than iOS 6 Safari from iPhone 5. Never have used the in house client by FB. I'm rewriting this review because I missed some commands during first session. Facely HD has a very nice UI. File uploads go very fast. Navigation across the interface is quite smooth. Make sure you tap the FACELY title button for functions you think are missing. It's all there so don't be afraid to poke around! 5 stars because lots of work/upgrades have gone into this build. It says I have version 3.2? Supposed to be version 3.3. Fix that please or I will demote :).Version: 3.3

✓ Editing My ProfileThis is a very good app to use because its almost like the desktop site except for being a mobile app. the main issue i'm having right now is when i hit edit profile and when it takes me to the mobile site to edit it, i try to click on what i want to edit but it doesn't let me edit it. another issue i'm having is sometimes the app will crash within minutes of using it. i believe you all should make another version of it because this is covered with bugs, it also needs some minor adjustments to the edit profile section. when you all do it, i'll come back and give a very decent review about your app. until then, i'm giving it 3 stars..Version: 3.2

✓ Facely HDLove this app but has a bug that needs to be fixed. When I try to look at photos on either my own profile or on other's pages, it doesn't allow me to view them and says error. Please fix this. The other grumble is, I would like to be able to scroll further back to view older posts. Facebook allows this by giving you the option of what month or year you wish to see. ✓ Oh my Facely...Well, it would seem the errors are a result of changes in Facebook's coding. Facely just had issues rolling out an update to compensate in a timely manner due to personal issues (a birth) in the life of the key developer for the app. I noticed the free version is already fixed. I'm anxiously awaiting the fix for this version. I love Facely. It's normally a solid app. Still, I get that stuff happens. It's a good app, a bit overwhelming in the beginning, & most definitely wait for an update before buying. .................... Srsly, Facely is great. ✓ It just keeps getting better and better!With every new update, things are added and bugs fixed while other things are simply improved. The customization is brilliant, the chat is surprisingly good (though I have a separate app for that), and though it's not perfect there are no major bugs to complain about. It might crash every now and again, but at least it doesn't happen all the time. I have one big suggestion to improve the app: if we have pages on Facebook, we should be able to switch to our pages' profiles to use instead of our regular profile, like on the desktop Facebook. ✓ Good AppI do like the customization, that puts in on top of Facebook, but when you want to reload or update a page, it takes you home, and that annoying. The photo setup is horrible, especially when I use the back button, it also takes me home.... They added a cursive looking font, which I love, but no matter the size of text, the letters overlap each other. That was poorly done. When checking your notifications, I cannot tell what is new and what is old. Facebook discolors the notifications you haven't yet checked, and yet in Facely, they are all the same color. This makes checking and replying very difficult and confusing. Not user friendly. New fonts would be nice, and maybe better separation from everyones' comments and status. It's tricky and tends to play with your eyes. Other than those things I mentioned it is a really great experience aside from Facebook. ✓ Pretty good...BUTWell it does have all the functionality it claims and being able to personalise is really cool, the notifications actually work on this unlike the official facebook app, and when you get a notification that someone has commented on a picture if you cluck it then you are taken to the correct picture and comment unlike the official version, this is a great app and does more than any other facebook app, even FB chat works BUT its slow to react when you hit a button it takes seconds to react, so if you can deal with it being laggy then this is the ultimate FB app for you! You have to tap on them to see the larger version, and from there you can share it, etc... The developer really needs to make the pictures larger when viewing your newsfeed. Sometimes I see a picture and have no interest in making larger. The way this app works, to see what the picture actually is you have to tap on it. Ugh. An extra step that's just not necessary. ✓ Good with some glitchesThis is a great app for the iPad because it displays in HD. The layout is relatively straight forward and you can access most normal features on Facebook. One thing I noticed is the inability to get to pages you like quickly and easily. Also, you can't get to notes or discussions on these place pages. Most people don't really care about this problem but another thing I noticed is that it can take the app a minute or so to fully load, so its in a weird format when you first open it up. It also frequently gets confused about whether or not you have viewed your inbox messages. You can't rotate pictures either. Overall though, for basic everyday use, I like the app, being able to personalize it is a nice touch and its the only app I use for Facebook..Version: 2.2

✓ Better Than The RestI have been using this app for a year. I have seen it falter and function. It hands down destroys the Facebook app by simply letting you share a link within the app. Why this is not provided in The Facebook app is beyond me. You find yourself jumping through hoops of real fire to do this. That fact alone makes it worthwhile. It has had times of better interface and display but crashes less and is dependable. I have tried to get others to use this app to no avail. They are happy with the lateral thinking process of social simplicity in the corporate app. I do hope work to improve and a faster loading time is considered..Version: 3.2
✓ Good so far! :)This app is pretty good chat is reliable, notifications more consistent than FB app and generally just that bit better the only prob I've had is occasional crash and my news feed was top news instead of more recent but seems to have sorted itself now :) hope it stays reliable cause I def prefer this to FB app :).Version: 1.7

✓ Mixed opinions ;)Compared the FREE FB app this is alright I mean the only problem with this one is the picture upload, it won't allow you to upload the whole picture only a certain size so you don't get a full picture, I keep the original just for that but then I am getting notifications for both and can't be chewed turning it off. I haven't had it long so I probably will discover more issues and problems but it's alright can't complain for 59p I think the only decent thing about it is the option to change the colour! (Nice Touch) One thing I would like is for there to be 'date and time' to be added to messages sent/received hence the 4 star rating.
