✓ Dated and crashes.It still hasn't been updated to the new ios 7/8 style interface. Looks very dated. And crashes a lot, especially on iOS 8. It needs an update with bug fixes at least..Version: 2.3.4
✓ Could be much more usefulBought this app - which by app standards is rather expensive - off the back of some of the glowing reviews here. Having had a chance to use it, it is clear that what it does it does well. The trouble is, it doesn't actually do much at all. Obvious limitations include: - the inability to cache maps off-line, rendering the application useless in the kind of remote locations where you might actually need it. - the inability to drag the position for which sun and moon times is calculated off-centre, which means less of the surrounding area can be seen on the map for any given zoom level - no way to automatically return to the initial calculated position once you've dragged the map around - no way to find the first date on which sunlight falls from a desired direction. A little bit of development work to address these issues would transform this app into something truly useful. Sadly, forwarding suggestions for improvement to the developer is met with no response..Version: 2.2.1

✓ OkApps ok but it doesn't work with the compass so what's the point? Unless you've got a landmark it's useless! If I'm standing on the beach to photograph sunrise I dont have a road to reference from..Version: 0
✓ It's a good app ButOk this is a nice app and I love the elevation chart, and the tree shadow grapic is nice, so for that alone I feel I haven't wasted money. But it's not as polished an app as 'The Photographer's Ephemeris' that I've had for ages. Bug fix, when you zoom a map in or out your location point does not stay fixed to the point on the map and you have to relocate it to the correct place after zooming..Version: 2.3.1
✓ Did the devs give up?This app would be great if it was useable. I’m not sure if the devs gave up and stopped updated or what but I constantly get a timezone incomparable error when inputting an address- even after deleting and reinstalling. The help page is a 404 error which also seems to suggest this is a forgotten project. Please update! Currently worth zero dollars so avoid until fixed..Version: 2.5.3
✓ Needs an update badly!I really like this app, but support for it appears to have stopped. It's gone from working perfectly to not working too well at all as later firmware has been released and this app hasn't been updated to suit. I'll have to find another app that's still supported..Version: 2.3.4
✓ Clunky interfaceDifficult to set your current location. There’s a few seconds lag when putting in the location. This used to be the best around but there’s no improvement in this app for many years. The sun tracking feature is hard to follow and not intuitive since you can’t tell the elevation of the sun. Sun Seeker is a much better app..Version: 2.5.3
✓ Used to be great.........but now is awful. When I zoom out to move to another location it automatically zooms back in, making this once great software pretty much unusable. I have emailed the makers and once I got a reply saying they were working on it and had fixed it. They did nothing as it still has the same fault. Since then I have emailed them on numerous occasions and not had any reply. They don't seem to care now they have had my money. On my partners version it keeps zooming out and won't let her go in close. There is so an error with this software, but the makers don't seem to care!!!! Shame because I always used to recommend it to all the photographers I know, and who came on my workshops. Not anymore..Version: 2.5.2

✓ Zoom is very frustratingThis app was fine at the beginning Now when I zoom out on the frame, at some point, the freaking app decides for me that it’s now time to zoom in!!!!!! Makes the appp extremely inefficient in use of my time.Version: 2.5.6

✓ Map zooms in itselfI haven’t used this app for years, and now that I’m trying to use it again; while exploring the map with my fingers (pinching in and out to zoom) the app will just randomly zoom in at its own will. This becomes extremely irritating while trying to explore an area. Apart from that the app is great and it has served me well. Please fix this bug. It makes it impossible to explore. And keep up the good things about the app. Thanks.Version: 2.5.4

✓ Great app.Could you install and on/off finder so we dont have to go in the preference mode to put the app. on and then return in the app. When finish with the app. return in the preference and put the app. off..Version: 2.2.1
✓ Incompatible with latest iOS?Does not default to searching at the present location. Much worse, though, is that it'll arbitrarily zoom in where you don't want it to. Whenever you don't want it to. Works well otherwise, but it'll test the heck out of your patience. Seriously in need of an update..Version: 2.5.2
