Also monitored for tsunamis. A 6.7 quake happened in the banda sea which we also felt. It shook our hotel room. ✓ Interesting and informative.This is a good App for both the enthusiastic amateur (me) and also the serious quake watchers of the world. It is simple and yet supplies lots of information. The screen can get very full when the various options are in use, such as the nuclear station sites but judicious use of the options available reduces the crowding. I have little cause to use this app to monitor my own surroundings but guess this would be a very useful app if living in a quake area. Try also the sister app 'Volcanoes' from the same developers. ✓ Ok, but alerts are pretty slowWe live in Tonga. The reason for purchasing the app is to be alerted ASAP about threats of tsunamis due to the almost daily earthquakes here. Earthquakes alerts (after the fact obvs) can take from 10mins to hours to show in the app, and there are no related alerts about potential tsunamis from same.. It would be great to get the earthquake alert in conjunction with an 'all safe' tsunami alert. It would also be great if the app coild use your location to update you on cyclones and related tidal surges. Just thoughts. I still love the app. It's addictive finding out the stats of each earthquake. 🙂.Version: 3.3.0

Could you add a little note, maybe in the instruction to add “my place”, mention how to delete stars? Otherwise. I am learning so much from this app. The tutorials are great. Definitions of terminology, geographic lines by color and what they mean. The list goes on and on. I’m learning about oceans and islands I never knew existed (geography was not my strong suit). I find a new land mass, pull it up Google Earth to look at what if anything is there and read information about the island or group of islands. I lowered the settings mag 1 to match other quake apps, they notify, this one doesn’t. I live with eartquakes on a daily basis in Alaska. I put 4 stars as there is NO options/filter to see only recent EQ instead of all last week quakes on the map... in active areas, you see too many at once...you have to have the ability to choose from last day, 48H, 72H, etc. Hope they will add that feature soon. UPDATE: I have forwarded my recomandations and was wondering of someone would take note of it...They did and add those features I need to have what I consider the most complete Earthquake app I have try ! Only problem I've come across so far is I can't get the map to refresh after changing some of the settings, namely turning off some symbols that don't disappear afterwards.
