✓ Very SlowI loved this app before the update, it used to be so fast uploading documents onto the cloud. Since the update it is incredibly slow. This bug needs to be resolved....Julian12121Version: 4.4.2

✓ Buggy, slow, limited and overpricedThis app crashes after a few page scans, and has some very poor UI decisions. For example, once you scan a page, it automatically tries to decide whether to convert to black and white and optimizes based on that decision. It almost always picks the wrong mode and wastes around 15 seconds PER SCAN in going back and selecting the correct mode. You can't scan multiple pages, and once you've finished with one page you have to keep clicking "back" to go back to the main page. I waited 6 months before writing this review hoping the developer would release an update fixing ANY of these issues, but there's been nothing. I regret not buying one of the other, better scanner apps out there..MonomadicVersion: 2.3

✓ From 5 to 2 stars with latest versionThis used to be one of my favorite apps and I gave it an excellent review a few years ago. But all of a sudden this update has made it a so aggravating that it's almost unusable for me. It used to ask me to scan a page at a time and now it thinks I want to scan multiple pages and it's not easy to figure out how to end a scan. Because it used to scan one page at a time I could correct the orientation of each page as I scanned it but now I have to go into the document and adjust each one separately which cost me more time. It locked up when exporting and I had multiple problems exporting it to dropbox. Sometimes it would only send one of multiple pages other times it would lock up and the latest option was squishing two pages into one page. It might be because one was landscape and one was portrait but it still should be able to fix that. It's just a bummer when something works well and then it becomes so aggravating you wish you hadn't purchased it..RobbieGBVersion: 4.4.1

✓ Better beforeI have been using Genius Scan + for years. I have recommended this for my sales team as well. I will need to look for a new app after the changes. I scan receipts quickly and send to my e-mail so I have copies while traveling. I typically need to do some editing before sending. I rarely need to save anything on the phone. Now, there are far too many steps to edit and send the e-mail. This is a very disappointing change. It would have been better to give us the option to keep it working as it was. ✓ Ok, not greatTurns out that if you photograph the documents on a light brown, and slightly shiny, desk, it cannot detect the document. Also, certain bank statements I have in my possession contain dark letter headers, which the app interprets as the end of the document, when there is still writing above and below it. You can tell the app precisely where it can crop the document, but that takes time, which I don't always have..RDA1994Version: 3.4.6

✓ I have loved this app until todayLove using this app. Very helpful. But today, I discovered something that is making me feel ill. After using the app to scan hundreds of pages of an old, fragile, handwritten notebook lent to me by a teacher, saving a new pdf about every 50 pages, I went to merge the PDFs together. I assumed I would be asked during the process the order in which I wanted the PDFs to be merged, but I never was! Also, while not essential, it would have been nice if copies of the multiple PDFs were kept as backups in addition to the merged PDF being created. I borrowed that notebook, so I cannot reference it to ensure the pages are in order. But that’s beside the point. How can there be a merge feature that haphazardly merges the PDFs together? Useless. Here’s to hours wasted. While I’m leaving a review, I’ll also note that it would be nice if the crop feature had an axis tilt option like iOS Photos has. Other than the merge disaster, I’ve really enjoyed this app...hence my trust that merge feature would make sense.....Rb116Version: 5.2

✓ WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?Bought this app about a year ago and it was perfect as-is however every new update takes away from what made me love it, and now this last update is ridiculous. When uploading, I used to be able to fill in the “Title” portion so easily by simply clicking the “x” and typing what I needed. Now the “x” is gone and I have to delete everything individually, and then every time I type, a period is being placed after the last thing I type, when I hit the space bar.
