✓ Okay interface, horrid communityThe drawing interface is quite intuitive and easy to use, makes it great to edit photos or draw art on your phone or iPad, however the community side of the app is awful. It should be rated at least 12+, if not 17+. Children can easily access settings to view “mature sketches” e.g. artistic nudity, while other parts of the community/website functions are extremely clunky and don’t mesh well together. The community itself is very toxic, art theft is rampant, there is an ugly divide between younger and adult artists, which the developer doesn’t lift a finger to stop despite his activity within the community. Yes, I’m talking about you, Jim. Arbitrary censorship for swear words does not fix these issues. The community feature can be turned off from the settings app, but again, that is accessible to children to turn back on. Do not let your preteens use this app..Version: 3.1.0
✓ Not recommendedBadly run social media site that doesn't follow Apple rules. No response about broken central features (eg blocking, rules not followed about nudity/horror). Forum posts eg hunt down who uses 'report' feature rightly and remove them from the app/dev agrees, that dev unflags rightly flagged sketches; dev repeatedly posts ideas that would make it harder for new people to be seen, and wants to bring in a system that would identify those who view a page but don't 'like'. Obvious issues/solutions ignored. Are amny apps where kids can write/doodle/v amateur, and this app champions that. Saw there used to be beautiful talented work done, but apparently all the talent has left and it looks like ds2 people I read about jumped ship and been enabled to spoil this app. Cliques, people who would stomp others to death to get a feature/star, nastiness, no respect. What a relief to have gone and be where this kind of thing is not tolerated!.Version: 2.3.2

✓ Crashes way too much when not using ipadNot recommended for serious artists who spend more than 10 minutes on a drawing on iphone/ipad, as it crashes far too much; usually corrupting or deleting your saved file. Not fun to constantly lose extremely difficult corrections and/or drawings. Good community but nobody seems to report art theft..Version: 2.0.4

✓ Failing streamsSo I tried to stream but it keeps on freezing or crashing You see, when I stream with the canvas only, it freezes and the viewers can only see either blank or a still image and even when I'm drawing and they don't know that! And I would like to add about the full view canvas, for me it crashed about like 100 times and only works for a few minutes until I have to start the whole stream again. Not happy tonight..Version: 2.4.2
✓ It’s okay, but not a great communityThe drawing is okay, it it isn’t the best. It’s a little confusing at first but you get used to it. The reason for the three stars is because of the community. Sure, there’s some nice people, but they have absolutely no tolerance for the unpopular opinion, and will virtually attempt to attack the person. I’ve seen a lot of people say things that are not okay to other people when the other person just says there opinion on a subject, they often end up arguing for days (usually someone ends up leaving, which is usually the person being attacked). People also get offended by the little things and it gets annoying. I’d highly recommend staying off of the community, for the sake of a few brain cells..Version: 2.10.4

✓ Good but—I have been using SketchClub for years and have always found it to be a solid app especially for my initial sketch work and planning. However, lately I have run into and issues where the app does not respond. Trying to enlarge or reduce the sketch often ends with frustration as the sketch will snap back or fail to respond to my hand gestures. I have also had issue with things disappearing as I draw, sometimes this happens several times before it takes. And, on at least a couple of occasions when this happens the open sketch stops responding and I can no longer add new line or colour work. Prior to 2019 I would have given SketchClub a solid 4 or a soft 5 but the frustration level runs high now whenever I find myself using the app on my iPad Pro..Version: 2.9.3
✓ Don't botherIt used to be a fantastic app but now it's confusing, bugs everywhere, work disappears and the community part is a joke. I used this app for 3 years and now it's a chore to even start a new canvas. If you like to copy other artists work and pretend it's all your own, like doing two extra steps for actions that used to be simple and smooth and speak in chat like the world is love and rainbows because you're too scared an honest opinion will get you banned, then by all means, waste your money.Version: 2.0.3
✓ Bugs?I love the new Selection Tool but for some reason I can't save my work. When I press "export" then chose JPG it would always crash. I tried to choose other formats, too, but it still crashed. I tried reinstalling the app but it still crashed. If you could, please fix this bug. I love this app and I used it to draw and colour lots of things..Version: 2.1

✓ ... Ok?I tried using this app and really just couldn’t. The stabiliser doesn’t work fully like it should and still leaves my lineart shaky because of my hand. Due to the type of work I make this was a dealbreaker and I have not been able to explore the rest of the features due to this, but I just generally couldn’t get the gist of the layout in general. For the community portion, sure at surface value it’s friendly but I really don’t like the way they lump minors under the age of 13 with adults and teens and vice versa, and I’ve seen it cause drama before, so they really need to be split up and separated. Also the rule of no cursing and other humour being marked as mature is annoying within itself. Won’t be using due to this and will be sticking with Procreate, glad it was on sale when I got it otherwise I would have wasted money.Version: 2.10.4
✓ Looks great, but crashes on Adonit penI bought this app because the reviews looked good and it seems to have everything I’m looking for in a drawing app. I am just a beginner working on an old iPad, but whenever I switch to certain tools like the eraser while using the Adonit Pixel stylus, the whole thing crashes. The app works fine with a finger for some reason though. I don’t mind pay a little for a good drawing app, but I’d like be able to use it with my stylus.Version: 3.0.1
✓ Great drawing app.Only things I want changed are the rotation, and to be able to fill colors more easily. The zoom and rotate is extremely annoying, just wanting to zoom in then the drawing rotates... Not fun having to reset the zoom ALL the time. Instead have a completely separate option to rotate. Also in the pen options, make a 'fill' brush, to make coloring easier. Other then these, great drawing app with awesome brushes..Version: 1.6

✓ OkIt’s a great app drawing wise, a great range of brushes etc you can really let your imagination flow. However it has a clique and if you aren’t in it you don’t get noticed. It is always the same people getting featured and winning competitions who are surprise surprise in the clique. I have seen some fantastic drawings by people but because they aren’t in the clique they hardly get any likes never mind getting featured. It is like being at school and true talent doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Overall great app, shame that some people ruin it for others..Version: 2.5.1

✓ Great App - BUTCan't deny this is a great drawing app plenty of tools layers etc great but after joining I found that what art work I had submitted was pulled to bits by a certain few members because they were copies of wallpapers which i liked I remember a quote by Vincent Van Gogh: "I don't invent the whole painting". Live and learn to paint art anyway you wish, there is no boundary to what we can and can't create or recreate, much art has been recreated over the years in different formats not to impress a public eye but from sheer fascination and awe of the artist which is how I feel but I was made to feel belittled I have since deleted my account with this app and left feeling deflated I will stick to other drawing apps where my work is appreciated after all I only draw for fun but at the end of the day I can't knock the app like i say its great only a certain few member which let it down who obviously don't appreciate new members.Version: 1.7.1
