✓ NuisanceHave had this app on since my first iPad . The app was great an the background was lovely to see . But not now you have spoiled the app by letting advertisements flashing across the screen or before opening the app . This is truly the most annoying thing that you could have done. As for the Adblocker app is the worst as it it has to have a monthly subscription to use which some people cannot afford . This is why you only get 1 star for spoiling a perfect weather app for the amount of advertising that it now puts on . Will be looking for a new weather app from now..Version: 4.12.1
✓ Weather+ spamsThis used to be my favorite paid weather subscription app for years. Suddenly Weather+ forgot I was a paying member and invasively installed a “DailyDoppler” Identity on my iPhone without my consent, with a fully functioning email which I could not delete by normal means. It acted as a bucket for so much adware that I could not get to my regular mail. Now that I write for Forbes I think I will right about how , in my opinion these techniques are not only invasive but resemble spam-ware cyber crime. Despite my paid service I’m deleting the app because of the way Weather+ invades my iPhone and set up its own email not selectable by normal means..Version: 4.8.27

✓ Was OK until I saw an horrendous adI’ve been using this app for ages, and I used to just ignore the ads. A minute ago though, I was just checking the weather; then this horrible ad initiated by former banker-wanna be-the-next-London mayor Brian Rose came up: he’s trying to get some voters ahead of the next London mayoral election, by proliferating negative comments about another contender. I can’t believe that Weather+ ‘s letting this guy use their app. Because of this, I’m leaving this app. Shocking..Version: 4.11.5

✓ Recurring purchases are you kidding me!?Unless you want to pay 5 bucks every six months to not have an annoying ad at the bottom of your screen I would not recommended downloading this app. I would give it five stars if It didn't have ads at the bottom that you had to pay a monthly reoccurring fee to get rid of. Paying maybe a couple bucks one time to not have the annoying ads is understandable. But a reoccurring fee is ridiculous. ✓ So many addsYou can no longer use this app due to adds. I understand the need to get paid but a small banner at the bottom would do. It now opens full page adds that can’t be shut down. If you close the app and reopen you can see the weather however when you swipe to see other locations you get another full screen add. ✓ TrailtripperI used to like this app but lately it’s just so off! Rain forecast when it’s actually heavy snow! Every day it’s even more wrong. I have started to use the weather network instead. It’s not as pretty an app but at least it gives me snow and wind warnings! What’s wrong with you guys, rain is wet and you don’t shovel it. ✓ ANNOYING CHANGESI have used this app for quite sometime and liked some of the features, but have refused to pay for a subscription as their weather reporting and forecasting is incorrect much of the time. Additionally, they have recently made changes to force you to purchase their subscription by posting annoying game ads that you cannot click out of. The only way to get rid of the ads is to power off your device. I understand their need to use advertising, however, the childish game ads are obnoxious and I don’t appreciate not being able to click out of them. ✓ Wildly inaccurateNice looking app, however the information provided is often wildly inaccurate. It can be pouring down with rain where I am, and the app will say it is fine. I learnt very quickly not to trust this app. Don’t waste your time. Edit Since writing the review I have not noticed any more issues - but I will continue to double check. Edit I have completely removed this app. Information is not specific enough to where I live. Temperature differences can be several degrees out, and other weather events may, or may not, occur. ✓ Clean & Simple. Expensive!Very nice app. Straight forward info. Quick to load. Current data appears correct based on other app info. Will keep around for a few days to see if I still like it. The reasons for 3 stars: Like it as I may, could NEVER consider your subscription offer. 12 month subscription for $8.50 - just for simple data I can get through dozens of apps. Plus, there’s no imaging maps - no radar, no satellite...if you offered those and it was good implementation I’d consider your price as a one time fee. I’m with other reviewer that the clock takes up too much space. I’d rather see current temp and wind speed in that size. Also, the graphic could be a bit more elegant than two blocks. Working with it for a few days will probably bring up other thoughts. Pop ups are the worst ads to me. Not enticing in the least and makes me (and other of my friends) irritated. ✓ Great option. Glad this is available.Quite a good weather forecaster. It’s free with not a lot of ads. What ads there are aren’t very annoying. They don’t block very much. Usually. It shows the “current” temperature and precipitation to the location that’s available that you choose—and you can choose to have several locations. It doesn’t always predict correctly what the temperature will be. Sometimes it’s way off. But most of the time it’s acceptable. And it still shows what is the current condition for the location you choose..Version: 4.11.14

✓ Need more Accurate ReportsWhile I really like the graphics in this app, the main reason to use it is for weather information. On 3 days over the past 2 weeks, if I had made plans based on your report, I would have been very disappointed. Fortunately, each time I wanted to make or change plans based on this app’s prediction ( rain or no rain the next day) people using the weather channel app or another one said, “That’s not what I have.” And we planned accordingly and, in each case, successfully. ✓ Nothing can be adjustedDimness, background video, size of the fonts are all adjustable on other apps like this, but not this one. There is a screen where it seems like it will allow you to choose a favorite background video but it just goes back to its own randomly selected ones after you’ve chosen. If you adjust the brightness, it just goes back to the original brightness as soon as you finish setting it. For the money I paid, I’m wishing I hadn’t purchased an app that’s missing such basic functions..Version: 4.8.35

✓ Company Likes To Rip-Off ConsumersThis company loves to create apps like one called Fahrenheit with pro versions.... Sell them to unsuspecting consumers then remove them from the App Store completely down the road... Re-vamp and re-name them... Then try to get consumers to pay for another pro-version. Where is lifetime option?I own the original lifetime version of this app on my older devices, but the app store will nit let me download it anymore- although I paid in full for it. ✓ Good not perfectI like the graphics and the forecasts seem accurate sometimes to the hour. Since updating to iOS 8 it hasn't worked as well. For instance it didn't recognise Stoke on Trent (a city) but it did Audley (a village). Seems to have stopped retaining forecast when out of WiFi coverage. Very inconvenient for me..Version: 4.8.26
✓ Forced to pay premium againI purchased the original app and paid the one time premium price many years ago and it has always worked flawlessly . Until today I noticed I could no longer make changes in settings and the hourly temps not showing plus when I deleted it and tried to redownload it , I did get same product but now it no longer recognized my premium status so I had to purchase a new plan which is now conveniently annually .. the old one was permanently or lifetime.. so much for that. But if I’m gonna pay again all over it would be nice if it would function properly . It’s glitchy, sometimes it hesitates or won’t let me look up additional locations . Wonder if it will be ready for iOS 13. I’ve used this app for a long time. I accepted that there may be ads displayed innocuously and not getting in the way of the FUNCTION of the app. I’d even be willing to pay *ONCE* for a GREAT weather app. But now that there are pop-ups, etc. I’m moving on. Out of interest, I looked at the list of companies who can access your device information and even transfer storage: 772 ‘partners’. Goes to show that when something is ‘free’, you’re the product!
