MySymptoms Food Diary for Positive User Reviews

Excellent user experienceI procrastinated on using this app for some time. I couldn’t face the inevitable frustrations and learning curve. Thankfully this app bucks the trend. It’s incredibly easy to use, and you can add as much or as little detail as you want. The fuzzy matching on search is fantastic, and the number of products in the database is astounding (such a surprise for the U.K.) This is my first app review in years, but this app deserves kudos..Version: 5.20

So easy to use! This app is super easy to use, and is perfect for tracking foods/symptoms. ( I am on an elimination diet and need to track those things.) Within 15 minutes of purchasing, I had put in all items I had eaten for the day, along with adding the supplements I was taking. I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about--I read the directions when I first loaded up and was easily able to figure out how to get all my items put in..Version: 4.81

Good for keeping track on diet!I have eczema and am going through an elimination diet. It’s hard to keep track of the food I eat and the symptoms I have but this app has made it a lot easier!.Version: 5.58

Amazing!!Such a brilliant app. Makes the task of logging all food, drink, symptoms and environmental inputs such a breeze. As an IBS sufferer this app has been amazing at providing the analysis of possible symptom causes. It should be $100 not $3. Well worth it..Version: 4.46

Very usefulLove this app to track foods and symptoms. The pdf report is an awesome feature. Have not used it long enough (only a few days) to get reliable information correlating foods with symptoms but fully expect that feature to be useful based on what I’ve seen so far. Only holding back 5 stars because there isn’t an easy way to trend symptoms ie graphical representation over time of number or features of bowel movements/ symptoms. This would be very useful in tracking IBD flares..Version: 4.81

Exactly what I was looking forI bought this app a few years ago and at the time thought it was merely ok and subsequently forgot about it. But rediscovered it when I needed to start a food/symptom/sleep/&c diary for a doctor and was delighted to find that it had evolved into exactly the app I wanted when I originally purchased it. Simple interface but comprehensive tracking capabilities without calorie counting or other nonsense. Well done..Version: 4.81

Best App I have purchasedI have only just started using this app with the aim to find the cause of my food allergies & digestion issues...but I'm blown away with how good it is so far! Love the ability to PDF my food diary & restore data between devices simply. I'm pretty sure it's the best paid or free app I have ever downloaded. Thank you!.Version: 4.46

Excellent App for Mindfulness! So happy I found this app! 5 stars all the way! Previously I was keeping track of my food intake on a google doc to figure out some health issues. This app actually makes it fun to keep track of your symptoms and general mood all day long. It’s brought a lot of awareness around my food choices and subsequent mood shifts. I love that this app doesn’t count calories. It’s so much more interesting to remove the concept of high or low calories and just focus on how a certain food makes you feel! Way more intuitive than tedious calorie counting. I think using this app will lead to weight loss although it’s not the primary intent of the app..Version: 4.81

Fantastic (with one suggestion)Absolutely fantastic app. If you are like me and you suffer from food allergy issues and other health related problems like reflux and a bad stomach this app is brilliant and ideal, and the best one I've ever seen. You can easily log and monitor what is going on to try to solve it and change your diet to make things better. Well worth getting. My only feedback for the developer would be, can you please add the function of reminders inside the app? And ideally so that the reminder displays a little number on the icon of the app itself? This would really add to it because it's hard to remember to fill the diary in all the time when you have a busy life and the little number sitting on the app icon and a reminder popping up too would make this app perfect for anyone trying to change their health due to food issues. If you have issues like this highly recommend getting it!!!!.Version: 4.81

Great appReally easy to use and great how it has both medication and supplements tabs..Version: 4.11

UsefulI’m really happy with this app. Taking a scientific approach to understand my digestive system and health concerns where doctors draw a blank. Thank you for making it and very happy that it is free..Version: 4.931

Very usefulI have only had this app for a few days but I am very happy with it. I have always tried journaling all this information (food, mood, BM) but I’m not always carrying my journal around or remember the specific times of events. This app allows me to easily record and is visually helpful in noting how each of these topics are connected.Version: 5.58

Very detailedI suffer from migraines and it’s important for me to track my sleeping, eating and symptoms to figure out how things relate and cause my migraines. This app seems perfect to help with that. My only complaint is that instead of putting an end time for something, you put how many hours it happened. When I have a headache, the last thing I want to do is do time math to figure out how long it has been going on. It’d be much easier to just go on the app and say that it ended at that time and have the app determine the length of time..Version: 4.931

AwesomeThank goodness someone finally made an app with statistics to help navigate the maze of trigger foods. I’m SO thankful. The only thing I wish is that you you sort results up/down or they gave percentages and that there is a way to make « almond » the same as « almonds » so you get better results, either way best their is available right now!!.Version: 5.28

AmazingThank you so much for creating this app. So easy to input symptoms, food, medication and the ability to convert to a PDF report is great. Highly recommended.Version: 4.931

Absolutely does the trickExcellent way to keep track of what I eat instead of just trying to memorize everything I did. I wish they would add a line for weight as I weigh myself each morning to also track that. Other than that, it works fine. It’s cumbersome at times to type in the food - but no-mater what app you use you would still have to do that. Since my phone is with me all the time it’s way easier than carrying a notebook and writing everything down. I love the way it orders events when you adjust the time..Version: 4.931

So convenientLove this app! Great list of existing foods and range of other useful criteria to track my symptoms - which is customizable. Shows lost if favorites first for each criteria - so less taps to enter as I build up my list. Really easy to use. Great reporting - easy to email PDF across date range. Everything is timestamped - again which I can change. Really worth it - so much easier than keeping a paper diary..Version: 4.11

Delightful.Pretty well laid out app. It does exactly what I need and not much extra. I keep track of food and drinks due to LPR (silent reflux). It’s better than keeping a physical journal because it can keep a pattern. I need the pattern. Edit: I actually figured out my real issue after a little more use of this app. I had an allergic reaction to a certain food and it caused my issue. It wasn’t even LPR. This app helped me figure it out..Version: 5.57

User friendlyYet to gather enough data for meaningful insights, but so far very intuitive, quick and user-friendly with enough detail to add but not too much..Version: 5.58

Thoroughly ImpressedI’m actually amazed. I never thought I’d see an app that’s so well-designed. The interface is user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing, the User Guide and FAQ (within the app) are graciously written, and they even have a feature that allows you to email the developers directly to “suggest an improvement.” Never have I encountered (an) app developer(s) who cares so much about their users. I’m thoroughly impressed, and I’m eager to see what features they roll out in future updates. Great job with this app, and thank you for putting it out there..Version: 4.931

Wow!! Fantastic app!Very impressed with this app. So easy to track foods and symptoms. I tried a couple of other free apps first and finally decided to buy this one hoping it would be better, and I was definitely happily surprised! well done!.Version: 5.25

Good app, could use some tweaksNeeds a date range entry function. Also it would be good to identify bad outcomes or symptoms from the previous two days foods..Version: 5.28

So good, so simpleLovely app! Been looking for ages for something like this. Simple very easy and clear. How did I manage before? Not well... Now it’s so easy to add stuff throughout the day..Version: 4.81

Most robust option out thereFirst time I have reviewed an app because this one is so necessary for anyone with chronic health issues. It is the most robust, flexible and sophisticated option for tracking symptoms and getting analytics to help you find correlations. As with anything like this, the data is only as good as what you enter, e.g. to get really good data, you have to keep religiously entering information when you’re not having symptoms. I really hope they continue to improve the app and add more automation. I would especially like to see options to import data from Apple Health, Watch and other apps, e.g. automatic logging of environment events based on location and weather data. Nonetheless, it’s a phenomenal app and very helpful if you are diligent about data entry..Version: 4.91

Pleasantly SurprisedI don’t think I have ever reviewed an app but I’m so pleasantly surprised with this that I actually wanted to. First of all, the app is very easy to use in my opinion and I love that it allows you to add ingredients to a food. I don’t think I have ever found an app that I LOVE without having to pay extra to unlock some service or having ads pop up every 30 seconds. This app doesn’t have that at all! All of the features are fully accessible and that’s what I appreciate the most, otherwise I wouldn’t be writing this review. I also love that it does not track calories. The app is overall a great means of finding out what makes your body happy and what does not ☺️.Version: 4.91

GreatFantastic App. Is helping me on my way to my goals. I use this App just to record the food I eat and the exercise I do. I know it is more than a food diary. But it is the well set out out easy to use and I love the print out that you can do. This is just amazing. Thankyou. I can't rate it high enough..Version: 4.0.51

Satisfied as it does what I needThis app is what I needed to figure out what foods were causing my gastrointestinal symptoms. It works great for that simply because it's a diary of everything I eat. I don't find the analysis helpful because it doesn't make any sense to me. To print you send yourself a PDF and then you open that in your mail and print over wifi. The printout is professional looking, in colour, and it even shows your notes. I love the printout..Version: 4.46

Love this app! This app will be and has been very useful for me to find the foods that correlate to my symptom onset! When looking at the “report” section I thought maybe some of the analysis part of the app would be a part of it, but it’s not. So that was a little disappointing. Other than that, this app has exceeded my expectations, thank you!!.Version: 4.931

Complete and easy to useI’m really pleased with this app, it’s súper easy to use, I can track every single thing I eat, medication, environment and every single symptom, and it’s all organised in a very visually pleasing way, it’s not too busy looking but it’s not too monochrome and boring looking either. Most importantly it encourages me to keep track of things. I 100% recommend it..Version: 4.931

Good app.App is great!! As anyone knows, keeping a diary of foods etc is a tedious process however if you have a good think about what your going to enter and where then take the time to put in sufficient data at the beginning, it'll pay off in the long run. I haven't yet figured a way to print select information (eg. Just milk/dairy products) and generate trending graphs..... maybe you can't... If you could it would be awesome..Version: 4.46

Love this! You have made this sooooo user friendly. Great way to track food, sleep, and symptoms!.Version: 4.81

ExcellentSimple to use, quick to enter the data, flexible: you can change the symptoms you are tracking; also appreciate the ability to scan bar codes. Very useful- just what I was looking for..Version: 4.46

Love this app but ...Deducted one star as doesn’t emphasis how important it is to remember/take note of your log on and password. As I lost all my data as had to reset phone and couldn’t remember details or find way to access as anonymous 😳😭.Version: 5.20

My go to Food Diary App!!I am working on a diagnosis for IBS and was asked to track my food triggers and symptoms. This App is brilliant for this purpose. I can even add extra information and categories suitable to my needs. I ditched the other food diary app I had in favour of this one as it allows for a comprehensive overview of each meal based on the info I enter. Highly recommend if you need to keep a food /symptom diary. I showed it to my dietitian who was impressed with it too. A fantastic, brilliant and comprehensive app. Thanks developers..Version: 4.13

Love this AppEasy to use. Hoping for good results..Version: 5.09

Good features, dated UI, needs Apple HealthThis app is the best available for tracking symptoms and food. The features are excellent To be a 5 star app it needs 2 things: 1. An updated UI that at least comes close to to the human interface standards for iOS 2. Apple Health integration Apple Health integration is especially important. There is a lot of double logging that negates the usefulness of this app..Version: 5.28

RecipesI would like to be able to enter recipes for future use and save them.Version: 5.20

HelpfulWith multiple food allergies causing a wide range of symptoms it is been hard for me to track which food is affecting me and which symptom is linked to which food. This app helps a lot. It was difficult at first to record and track foods and symptoms and to interpret the analysis. Eventually it becomes easier but at first it is a steep learning curve. Is this app perfect? No but it does steer me in the right direction and it’s easier than recording all this info by hand on reams of paper..Version: 4.81

Very Helpful!I have severe Ulcerative Colitis and struggle with flares and keeping my diet strictly in line. My doctors have been advising me to keep a food and symptom journal for years. This is so much easier to just plug in the details and not have to re-write everything down or try to remember. It has helped me be more detailed in what I record and figure out patterns based on what I am eating and the results. It has also been very helpful when seeing my doctors or staying in the hospital to be able to give exact info. About BMs, foods, meds, etc. I have and will continue to highly recommend this app. to people with any chronic health issues..Version: 4.81

Very Useful and insightful..I'm suffering from digestive probs and suspected allergies which is in the process of being diagnosed. Dr has asked for a full 2wk food symptom journal. This is PERFECT for doing that with ease. The reports and diagnostic screens are wonderfully helpful. I'm sure she will be very impressed. Thanks so much!.Version: 4.0.51

.This app will help u record everything from symtoms to what u ate to what meds u take and more! I was told by my dietition to make a food diary.. This app does everything short of adding the data itself.. Then you can see ur results to see abd trends or u can convert it to a great pdf format to give to any professional u like! Does what it says... And more so!... Thanks!.Version: 4.0.4

Brilliant! This app is very user friendly, it does everything I need and after using it for a week my entries are so quick to input. Fantastic value for what it does, I couldn't be happier. There has been a lot of thought put into this & for that I am very grateful! I doubt anyone could be disappointed in what this app has to offer. THANKYOU!.Version: 4.46

Excellent AppI used this app during my recovery from an autoimmune disease to track my symptoms and diet. My treatment team found the data very valuable (very easy to export and email). I particularly liked the freedom to add variables and measure whatever I wanted over time as well as the tool to view my data on a graph. 5 stars..Version: 4.42

Life saver! It has been a real struggle for me to properly keep track of my symptoms and what I've eaten plus when I take my medications. I couldn't be more impressed with this app, my favorite feature is the unlimited amount of symptoms you can track. I've purchased other apps where they give you a maximum amount of symptoms, such as 5. Then they require you to pay more to upgrade. It's ridiculous. Thank you for making my life so much easier, and for helping me and my doctor keep track of my life..Version: 4.90

Excellent food diaryThis app is great for keeping a food diary. It is purely based on statistical analysis, and as the app keeps reminding you, it has no medical intelligence programmed in. This means that it can give some surprising and misleading results on the analysis charts, but when you consider that it is working purely on logical statistics, then it does make some sense, even if the conclusion is possibly incorrect. But, the food diary aspect of the app is very straightforward, and you can program in any type of food (even if it isn't already in the default lists). As I say, the fact that the app doesn't have any associated medical information about any if the food, is quite helpful here - as it means that there is no difference between the existing listed food and any that you enter yourself. To coin a phrase "it does exactly what it says on the tin". Just don't expect it to offer you any diagnosis of possible issues - that is best left to the professionals!.Version: 4.11

Very helpfulI find this app very helpful. I can easily keep track of my food and drink and also my symptoms. I am hoping that I’ll be able to determine what foods trigger reactions.....over time..Version: 5.22

ComprehensiveI’ve only been using the app for a week now but it has everything I needed. I can track food and medication intake and sleep and mood and other health symptoms all in one place. The initial set up takes a little bit of time the first time I enter something new but after that it’s super easy. This will be a really good self advocacy tool the next time I’m at the doctor trying to explain a complicated and not well understood condition. Cause and effect will be laid out right on paper..Version: 4.931

.Only thing that would make it better would be if I could add something like having my period, and track the duration in days rather than hours.Version: 4.42

A truly great appFlexible , easy to use , well designed , informative.Version: 5.30

Extremely useful app.I have suffered from IBS complications for years and have tried researching diets, keeping written notes and I had given up. This app helps me do everything in one easy place. It is extremely knowledgeable and I look forward to improving my symptoms..Version: 5.25

*Very* good appI’m using this app every day and it’s super handy. One small nit: I wish there was an easy way to find past meals so that I can copy them. (If I know I ate the exact same meal 2 weeks ago, I have to hunt for it to be able to copy it).Version: 5.58

Very good if you have a digestion problemI was looking for a food diary app and this one does far more than I expected, so I’m very pleased. It’s well worth paying for. The analysis functionality is very powerful. Perhaps a little bewildering at first, it’s worth sticking with it until you understand what the results mean. Be prepared to record your eating in detail for several weeks. I’ve been doing it for about a month and I’m starting to get some good evidence to support my suspicions about what’s causing my own problems. With a clearer user interface this would get five stars. ————— Update: After posting a long email with suggested improvements and not even getting an acknowledgment, I’ve had to conclude that the developers aren’t interested in user feedback. A bit rude if you ask me when they so actively ask for it..Version: 4.81

Favourite food & symptoms tracking app! This app is honestly amazing for any IBS sufferers. It’s very straightforward and intuitive, although it does have a user guide within the app should you need assistance with anything. I love that you can see the exact time you’ve made a diary entry as it helps me stay aware of my choices and it keeps me accountable. I’m also happy that I can go back to a previous day and fill up my diary if I was too busy to do it on the day. The graphs are helpful and I’m glad they are transparent about correlation not causation and that they include confidence levels. The graphics are ok, the app has a clean look, nothing fancy but nice and easy to use. A few suggestion for the developers: introduce a trends tab, for example one of your competitors has trends graphs of how the bowel movements fluctuate within a week or within a month. That would be helpful as well as stress trends or maybe some way to see them both on the graph to see the correlation. Also, it’d be good if you could fetch health data from Apple’s Health app and link the results to that. For example, a big trigger for my flare-ups is lack of sleep and I track my sleep on my smart watch so it’d be cool if MySymptoms could pick up on lack of sleep etc. You could do it for other smart watches too, like Garmin or Fitbit. Exercise and sleep definitely impact IBS so it’d be amazing if that was an option..Version: 4.931

If I could give it 10 stars I wouldThis is the best app I have ever downloaded. I have an auto immune condition and over the years been asked to track symptoms/ diet countless times by specialist. Because I make 90% of my own food though and tend to graze every couple of hours I never stuck to recording it properly, if be too busy with work to stop and lest every thing i put in my mouth and every symptom. With this app though it just has been so simple. It remembers everything you have recorded in the past so I found after the fist couple of days it was very quick to add things.. Adding the symptoms and medication is very easy too. I'm looking forward to taking the PDF report to my doc tonight . The report prints all you meals/symptoms/meds, and anything else you want to record in chronological order with nice little symbols next to them. It will be the most comprehensive thing I've ever given to her. I have downloaded other apps like this before but they always were too complicated/ took too much setting up time... This one is perfect... THANKYOU.Version: 4.0.51

Helpful with food sensitivitiesIt's easy to track your food, and symptoms, very helpful able to print out the PDF great feature..Version: 4.44

Impressive but no mcgJust downloaded today and very impressed so far. There’s a lot of room for specifics but it still looks clean whether you have little or lots of data. My main complaint is that micrograms (mcg) are not listed as an option when selecting units for an ingredient. Also, the search function keeps freezing up, so I end up adding new ingredients that are probably already there..Version: 5.20

Needs apple health integrationIt’s pretty good but one thing I would like is to have apple health integration. Otherwise, very useful.Version: 5.57

Love the app! Status option can be addedAbsolutely love the app. Especially multiple users. I use then for my kids who have allergies and intolerance in food. Great application! Exactly what i'm looking for! Improvements suggested: - add an item called status which I can write a note about the test result, good sleep or good status i can put in etc. - the symptoms item under the notes should show up in the record display. - the notes section of each item should show up in the record as well..Version: 3.52

So far so good!I really like this app because I’ve been trying to figure out a good way to monitor some stomach issues and my migraines. I love that with a few clicks, I can have my symptoms, intensity and so much else right there, timestamped for review. I use this along with a photo journal where I track my food, and between the two I’m covered so I can be healthier and feel better. My wish list is only to have a photo food log here, too. Aside from that I’m glad I got this..Version: 4.81

About time!I have so many health problems and trying to figure out what is causing what is difficult for the specialists and I. I have found it easy so far and hope that I can figure out how to chart what each specialist needs. It allows for diversity of conditions by allowing you to add your own symptoms. I have lots of ideas for growth of this app and so far live it. This is the first review I have ever written. Keep up the good work!.Version: 4.81

Great App!It’s a great app, I️ like that you can track bowel movements and other symptoms, such as headaches, which are a huge problem for me. The reason that I’m not going to keep using this app is that when I scan an item 95% of the time it comes up as not in the system and I don’t have the time to type in all of the ingredients on every item that I scan because there are so many freaking ingredients in everything. Unfortunately it just takes all the convenience out of this app, unlike an app like MyFitnessPal, which will scan 99% of everything. I’m going to keep the app for now and then come back in a couple months to see if this has been fixed..Version: 4.81

Great app and customer service!Easy to use and great tracking. Received quick response to my suggestion by email too. Impressive customer service!.Version: 4.42

Amazing ToolThis app helped me discover what was causing my G.I. issues. And now I'm using it to help me with my allergies. The database is somewhat sparse in terms of ingredients in things but I've been adding them myself in hopes that someone else can use them. Also the instructions are pretty straightforward but the explanation on scores and ratios in your analysis is a little difficult to understand. It would be helpful if there was a more detailed explanation on score and ratio and how you could use each. Overall this app is definitely worth three dollars..Version: 4.81

I ❤️ this App!!!!I was diagnosed with a auto-immune disease & so many Dr’s kept asking me to keep a food/symptom diary but its so difficult & i’d always forget my diary & pen to write things down! This app is so convenient & being able to email the report as a PDF is so easy & a god-send!!! Thank you to whoever invented this app!.Version: 4.81

PerfectFantastic. Sometimes, the cause of minor health issues is not obvious until all lifestyle components are recorded for trend analysis. This app does exactly that perfectly. Easy to use, and fast once favorites are configured. 5stars :).Version: 4.931

Perfect! I never pay but took the chanceSo happy I decided to spend the money and buy this app. It tracks your symptoms your food your fluid intake whatever you wanna put in there exercise medication vitamins. One thing I would really like to see is an area where you can create a list of foods -symptoms of foods that you have a bad reaction to and able to share with doctor..Version: 5.19

Perfect app for what I need it for!I was recently diagnosed with gastroparesis, a chronic and awful condition where your stomach doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to and food is delayed from Emptying into your intestines due to lack of motility. Was told to write down the foods I eat and symptoms they cause. To keep a journal. So I went searching for an app so I could do it on my phone as that is much easier than lugging around a notebook. I was delighted when I found this app. I thought maybe I would find an app that came a little close but that I would have to repurpose it for my need. But this app is exactly what I needed. It’s wonderful. And I love that I can track medications as well since we are having to try different ones. And then the PDF that I can send to my doctor or print out is just the bees knees. Thank you a million times for making this app. It’s awesome. I may recommend it to my fellow friends in an online support group I’m a part of. 10K Strong. I bet they will love this app as much as I do. 💜💜💜🤗🙏🙌👾👽😻.Version: 4.81

Quick & easy to useProvides useful insights into cause and effect (FODMAP foods & symptoms, exercise), as you collect the data.Version: 5.22

My favourite app!I have been searching for and trying apps to record my food diary for a while until I found this app. This app can not only recording items efficiently but also very flexible to configure to meet my own needs. I use it every day!.Version: 5.02

Easy to useGreat app that is easy to use. Easy to navigate. Has everything that you need..Version: 4.91

Super helpfulThis app is easy to use, after just a week of using it I can already see patterns emerging!.Version: 4.46

Good appCould use more reporting/analysis options.Version: 4.46

Fantastic appI’m loving it, so easy to keep track of eating patterns and symptoms. The best feature is the ability to easily email the pdf to my dietitian for review 10/10.Version: 4.81

Very goodVery flexible yet easy to use. Intuitive. I’m very happy. Didn’t get five stars as I thought some tweaks could make it even quicker, eg by auto repeat entries and more learning by the app of frequent entries. However it is still really good and useful. Recommended..Version: 4.81

I love it!This is a fantastic app! It lets you not only record foods you eat, but also digestive symptoms, energy, sleep etc. it is also customisable. If something isn't listed, you can just add it in. And once you've got it in, you can easily pull out a report to look at or take to your doctor..Version: 4.0.51

Fantastic app!Only used this app briefly but already it's looking very good. Will update with more details in the coming week. Update: this app actually makes keeping a food diary possible , once your in the habit it only takes a minute to pop in your entries. The developers are keen and interested in feedback: a new feature for item brand-names/flavors is coming soon too!.Version: 4.11

BrilliantHaving tried several of the free food diary apps - only to find them difficult to use, this app is a perfect find. It’s easy to use, can be configured as you want & tracks just about everything you could want it to!.Version: 5.26

Diary reportI find this app easy to use to record my daily diet intake and the capacity to report on other areas of my life - makes it relevant to how I react to various foods. Although I’m not quite sure how to record outcomes from the diary. The other aspect that is good is the easy way to share your diary report with my health practitioner.Version: 4.931

PerfectJust the job. Exactly the app I wanted. So easy to use. Well thought out. Easy tracking and easy to send a report to the dietetics team. Will recommend to the team as a perfect solution. Also good to pay one price rather than a subscription. UK based so nice to have the Tesco and Sainsburys products that others have added in. Easy to add new products. The barcode scanner is a great feature. Did I say, it’s easy 😁.Version: 5.30

Helper with Health StrugglesI'm trying to deal with multiple health issues and the idea of having to painstakingly write down everything every day was not appealing. This app has been a godsend. Super easy to enter details, flexible and does the stats for me. I haven't quite got the hang of the analysis yet, but having all the information at hand is brilliant..Version: 4.46

Everything I need to track for my overall health. To;dr: well worth the $5 IMO. As someone who has been diagnosed with adhd, and struggles to maintain a healthy weight; this app encompasses everything I need to track to “see the bigger picture”of my health. I’ve tried other fitness apps, but always ended up ditching them because it focused more on numbers then anything else. That doesn’t work for me; it tends to become all or nothing thinking. I want to build a healthy relationship with food, my body and mental health. I realized that I just need document certain aspects of my daily life to see where I’m at so I can then look at what small steps I can take that will have the most impact..Version: 5.30

Best I've foundI've always struggled to keep a food journal and this makes it possible..Version: 4.71

Great app but needs more menu items!Excellent app for keeping track of my diet/symptoms whilst trying to work put the cause of my ongoing stomach problems, however I feel like I have to add items all the time, I.e, coffee (black, flat white, instant - all different amounts/types), fruit bread, soy milk, sausages... It would also be good to be able to add symptoms, for example reflux, dizziness and wind (! As often this occurs without prior bloating). But other than that great for keeping track!.Version: 4.0.3

Great but needs a little moreSuch an easy to use app and very comprehensive. Great for keeping track of meals and symptoms for chrons disease and other bowel problems. Just needs a larger database, but after using the app adding your regular items is a breeze! Have been suggesting it to my doctors to recommend it!.Version: 4.42

Amazing! perfect!I love your app. It's is exactly what the doctor ordered! As a person with a chronic illness that is hugely affected by food, the combination of all the things you can enter is perfect! Thank you! :).Version: 4.81

Excellent appReally good app. A few minor tweaks would make it even more useful. Major one is allowing a comment section under all events eg I need to track issues relating to bowel movements other than the Bristol Scale and cannot currently do that. Still working with the app and getting used to it. Will post other suggestions later. Generally speaking a good solution to my problem..Version: 4.0.4

Life changing!Having gone through years of trying to find a common denominator with what particular food items were upsetting me, this app pointed me in the right direction after a few weeks of entering data. I’m so impressed with the functionality of the app. It has great ease of use and you can decide how much detail you enter. Entering data on the move is easy and if it’s used consistently for a period of time, you will soon see patterns forming. It helped me to discover that I am Lectin intolerant. After years of dietitians and various diets including FODMAP. Another plus is the technical support. I raised a question late one night and received a response immediately. Awesome customer service. Well worth the small price - if only I found it three years ago!.Version: 4.81

Great app - thank you!Have a son newly diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis but with little initial information to go on has been overwhelming initially. This app has helped us make sense of his possible allergens & to easily build a comprehensive food diary & database of symptoms to give to his medical team. Very intuitive & easy to use..Version: 4.13

Great diary, not sure about the analyserI've found the diary really useful, especially being able to add to the list of foods and define ingredients of regular meals. I found the act of recording enabled me to spot problem food / drinks for myself as symptoms occurred. I haven't tried exporting results yet. However, as an ex-analyst I know my stats and am very dubious about the accuracy of the analyser for spotting problem foods. What if I drink peppermint tea because of my symptoms rather than it causing them?! I think it's a statistical issue though rather than a poor app. I would prefer simple charts as an option to improve the app. Eg chart of how much of a food I've been eating over time or how my symptoms have been over time..Version: 3.52

Very useful, solid & reliableFor many, the app might be overkill, but which is worse -- features you don't use or features that aren't there? I've been a user for several years and am extremely happy with the app. On the 2 occasions I've needed support, they were fast, efficient, and effective. Highly recommended for food tracking and beyond. Sharing data between devices is fast, see less, and transparent..Version: 5.58

Gluten-Free? EPI FODMAP helpUsed the app to gather info to report to doctor when figuring out that I was gluten intolerant though not officially celiac. Now using to figure out fat levels needed to handle my EPI (pancreatic insufficiency)! Great tool to find hidden allergies too. Someday I might use for finding FODMAPs, appears it should work well. Even tracking medications & pain levels after broke a couple of ribs. Great flexibility—you can add your own symptoms, so possibly applicable to a lot of different medical issues. My only complaints are I want more diet tracking info. But its worth it without that!.Version: 5.58

Easy to UseTried about 5 different apps as well as trying different ways to keep a manual health and symptoms log. Logging in a notebook was really inconvenient and changes or forgotten adds made a mess. All the apps had glitches, or were not intuitively useful, or were more complicated than needed, or just didn’t have the features I needed or organized in the way I needed them. This one so far has been all NOT that. Thank you..Version: 5.58

Just What I need!Am very happy with this app so far. I just started it a couple of days ago. I am hoping I can be persistent in recording my criteria regularly. If nothing else it'll make me more aware of what I'm putting in my mouth. Will write another review after I've used it a bit longer. Thank you to the producers of this app for taking the time to create it. It has a lot of detail you can record if you so choose. October 17, 2016 I still love this app! I had a hip replacement recently and I have a digestive issue so I've been able to record all the data required so I'll be able to show my dietician at my next appt. the end of this month. I am able to record all my meds, exercise, foods I eat, bathroom results, drinks, supplements, symptoms (of course), drinks, stress level, sleep quality. It exports easily to a PDF file which I'll print out for my next appt. I am very grateful for and happy with this app! I highly recommend it!.Version: 4.46

Really great with room from improvementThe app has been easy to use for logging food. I only wish you could also do a daily long of symptoms, especially if you could add photos of symptoms to the daily log. That way improvements and regressions of symptoms could be tracked more easily. Thanks for this app, though. It is a helpful tool for us in figuring out food sensitivities for our daughter..Version: 4.931

Waaaay better than just a pen and paperPretty good. Worth the price..Version: 4.931

Great appA great app and definitely value for money. The UI is easy to use but the analysis could be more specific rather than interpretable. Perhaps provide some likely hints and the analysis breakdown. Overall, very good and would be excellent if it had some allergy alert hints..Version: 5.57

Great app!Great way to track food and symptoms, tons of details. It's clear that the food and drink database is strictly added by users. It would be nice to not have to add a food to the database every time. A more robust database would be appreciated..Version: 4.44

So impressedThis is the first time I’ve EVER reviewed an app, because it’s the first time I’ve ever been so impressed! The functionality is amazing— so much more than you’d expect for an inexpensive little app. The ability to toggle on/off certain configurations / ways the algorithm works / analysis period to find top suspects— is evidence of the care and pride into this app. I could not believe when I went on vacation, the times of each entry changed for that day, so I didn’t have to do any more work (ie, pretending to be on a different timezone that day) so my “X hours after” ingestion values weren’t wrecked— it just worked, without any human adjustment needed! Clearly someone has thought long and hard about every scenario, and taken steps to address it in the app. I think the ability to either create a new recipe or replace all previous instances of the recipe with your new entry is essential, and without it, I doubt the results would ever be accurate. Basically I’m blown away by this app!!!! I should note that I find technology intuitive in general. If you want a more beginner’s app, and you’re willing to trade functionality for ease of learning the app, maybe you’d want to choose a different one. Personally I’m so glad I didn’t. This app rocks!!!.Version: 4.81

Simple to use and track activitiesI've found the app quite simple and intuitive to use to track my diet and bodily symptoms. The export feature provides a simple method to send my medical professional the data I have entered. It is definitely worth the price..Version: 4.46

Well doneGreat app, easy to use, recommend linking in Heath apps to load exercising automatically.Version: 5.22

Really versatile!I love this app because I can track just about anything. With IBS-C, it can be very difficult to pin down what causes flare-ups, and while I JUST started using it, I can already see some interesting correlations in just a few days of tracking. The “Other” category is really important, too, because I can use it to track things like where I am in my cycle, or when I ride public transit (which can give me motion sickness as times). I’d ask the developers to include a way for women to track the very basics of their cycles because of how much it can relate to digestive symptoms, but I understand you can’t add everything to one app, and again, I can just use the “Other” category. Looking forward to the day that more foods are added to the database, but I’m happy to be contributing as I go!.Version: 4.91

Great AppThis app is so easy to use and allows you to track and analyse your food & drink intake. Great features and appearance..Version: 4.81

Most excellent tool to manage my symptoms!I downloaded a week ago, after 3 successive disappointing experiences with similar apps. when trying to register initially last Sunday, i did not notice the password requirements, and failed numerous times. I asked by email for help, which was immediately answered on the first hour on Monday! amazing customer service and follow up care , exceptional company!! All being wonderful, i started using it, and here’s the real amazement:- it’s probably the most comprehensive, smart, beautifully designed and well-thought app out there. Being a systems analyst myself, i naturally tried to test/challenge/trick and find the problems or things lacking with the app...:). WOW AND BRAVO guys, superb achievement, you need to be proud of your work, it tremendously helps people like me with real bad lifelong symptoms of a disease that must be controlled by using such a tool that keeps track of everything so perfectly. Best thing about it is it’s simplicity and ease to amend, correct, add data backdated, improve our records, and even add new items that currently do not exist in the database. Thank you developers, great job!!.Version: 5.20

Analysis function isn’t great but the app is still helpful! The analysis function tends to give me suggestions about what’s causing my symptoms that I know are inaccurate as they don’t occur every time, but the app has been great for my own personal use and working towards discovering food triggers.Version: 5.30

Great app!Was asked by doctor to keep a diary of my food intake, easy done with this app and great report print outs. Had issue with opening app which turned out to be a problem with with my phone not the app, app support via email provided a fix within 1day of contacting them! Great work!.Version: 4.13

Brilliant app.Very easy to use and now it syncs beautifully with my iPad it makes it even more versatile and useful. Thank you to the Team for sorting my syncing problem out you made a very good app brilliant..Version: 5.08

Great for recording IBS symptomsSo quick and easy to use, then exports to print. Only suggestion would be to be able to enter type & length of exercise. Great app..Version: 2.1

Wonderful appProvides answers over both short and long term about what foods might be causing symptoms such as eczema and irritable bowel syndrome. Far more fine grained and accurate than my doctor or naturopath are. Analysis tool is excellent as I've been able to pinpoint possible problem foods. Looking forward to a longer term analysis and hoping that cutting out some of the foods that show up as problems might reduce my symptoms. I hope the developers are doing some research on the results!.Version: 4.11

Good app!The calendar approach this app is taking is very handy for keeping track of symptoms, diet, and many other things. That said, it's difficult to get some of the calendar entries' labels to display anything other than "symptom", "lunch", etc., when it would be really nice to be able to show what the symptoms are so that you don't have to flip back and forth between them so often..Version: 4.44

So far so good.I like the app and initially thought it would be limited, but have been pleasantly surprised by how much is covered as far as the ability to track. You do have to input a lot, but that doesn’t bother me..I was already doing that, but a lot of what I’ve input is now available data. My biggest complaint is the lack of sync between devices. I have the app on more than one, but data only appears on one. Not going to input twice and doing backups constantly is a pain that only allows for one way transfers..Version: 4.81

Fab appVery easy to use, good reporting option with export to pdf.Version: 4.11

Great appI have been having issues with my stomach for ages, and I can’t work out a correlation myself. I am assuming it’s food! Only 4 stars as my stomach pain moves from upper ab to lower ab and this is not recognised on here....only been using this app for a week so still early days!.Version: 4.931

So much easier than paper food diariesGreat app! So much easier than paper food diaries. Already starting to confirm food intolerances I suspected, but never had accurately tracked to prove. It's also making me more aware of the ingredients (especially preservatives) to bought products. I'm able to track for my kids too as it has a multiple user function. Thanks for a great app!.Version: 4.44

My Symptoms Food DiaryThis program allows you to enter a food diary, medication diary, symptoms diary, exercise diary, fatigue diary etc all in on place and it then also even tries to work out possible triggers. You are allowed to give a rating of 1-10 in the symptoms and fatigues etc and can put the times of day in that you felt any symptoms. It also allows you to add notes. The program can then send a report to your email address which gives a day by day account of everything you have entered - excellent for handing to medical specialists or just having with you so you don't get caught out by questions they may ask. My only wish would be for it to be like My fitness coach where you can access it from a PC too as loads of my friends without iphones would have loved to use it. Well worth the money :-).Version: 3.3

Does all the hard yakka for youThis little app takes out the guesswork and difficulty of food logging by doing the research for you. All you need to do is make sure you record as much info as possible. The more you log stuff in, the more accurate it becomes. I love the ability to add your own personal symptoms, new items and menus. I've even included dreaded additives and colouring agents to my list..Version: 2.1

I like it.I’ve used this app for about 8months now and I like it, took a while to get to grips with all of the functions etc but once you’ve learned what to do it’s very useful..Version: 5.22

Highly recommendedGreat app, really useful. Would like to see an option to modify a composite item without changing the past. Say I've run out of garlic; I make my usual tuna casserole without it, but if I modify the ingredient list it takes garlic out of all past tuna casseroles as well. Give me an option not to apply retrospectively? Otherwise, loving this app. Thank you!.Version: 4.46

Life saverI don't ever review apps, so that should say something about how great this one is! It's very easy to use and the reports are great for showing a doctor your symptoms! I wish there were more things in the database but that will come once more people use the app. I highly recommend for anyone needing to keep a food journal. I have tried COUNTLESS apps and notebooks but this is the only one that I actually kept up..Version: 4.81

UsefulI find this app very useful for tracking my son’s IBS food reactions. It would be useful to have a month-per-view calendar overview, where you can see at a glance weeks when there have been any or no reactions, rather than manually flicking through day-by-day, or analysing according to just one symptom..Version: 4.93

Super HelpfulThis app helped me figure out what was causing my GI issues. I logged a couple weeks of food and voila, gluten and dairy are my culprits! One helpful hint to anyone buying the app: when logging food, make sure all the ingredients are listed. If gluten is the problem but every time you eat something with gluten you just say "pizza" instead of saying "pizza" and then listing all the ingredients such as flour, oil, etc. you won't be able to figure out what the problem is. Logging ingredients makes everything easier. A note to the app developers: you guys are awesome. Seriously, this app is amazing. I just have a couple of suggestions. Maybe a more clean/modern user interface? But that's not necessary; the app works great as is..Version: 4.81

So far pretty good...Recently purchased to track my food symptoms for a variety of reasons. So far it seems pretty good, but there a few things I wish it had. I also tried out the Cara app and prefer the food entry here- but found Cara to be superior in tracking symptoms and providing options for each of the symptoms (such as mood (detailed things), sleep- how you feel when wake up etc). Also would like mensural cycles to be an option with detailed symptoms as this can play a huge role - even more so than food..Version: 4.931

Thank you for this App!Thank you so much for this app! I have had it and used it for one week. It is very easy to use and conveniently defaults your regular food items when you are entering what you eat so it is quick and easy to do. If a food you eat isn’t in the app you can add the bar code and details for yourself and other users of the app. This app has already helped me to identify a food I react to and am feeling better without it. The evidence and patterns this app track are so helpful. I wish I started using it sooner!.Version: 4.931

Cant sync between devices. This app is Fantastic. I have Crohn’s disease and use it daily. Reason for 4 stars is that the app does not sync between iphone and ipad. Fix that and it would be 5 stars all day long..Version: 4.81

Good symptom tracker with good analysisEasy enough to use and completely customisable with specific foods, recipes, symptoms, etc. Provides good analysis of trigger foods, making it easier to find out what's causing you grief. Nice how it bubbles often used foods to the top of search results..Version: 4.11

Comprehensive and easy to useThis app helps me to keep a thorough record of my diet and the possible links to any symptoms. I can record everything from food, to medication, to exercise and mood. It provides invaluable data for me and my consultant..Version: 5.28

It’s good but could be amazingI have to agree with some of the other reviewers… the UI has room for improvement, but my main issue is with the database. This app has great functionality but the db is lacking. This app would benefit greatly if it could integrate with other food trackers such as Lose it! Then I would only have to enter data once… Lose It has way more detailed data but it doesn’t have the other functionality this app has, which is what I really need right now. I will continue to use for a couple of months and see if it helps me identify issues with the food I eat..Version: 5.28

Great food diary appI was looking for an app to record my daily eating and symptoms to try to identify whether certain foods trigger symptoms. I’ve been using the app for nearly two weeks and it’s perfect for what I wanted. It’s easy to add my meals and snacks and lots of other data that might be useful. I can add my own recipes, and my meal favourites come up so I don’t have to search for them each time. I’d recommend this app if you want to track your eating or for recording exercise and nutrition for a dietitian or personal trainer. I’ve found it so much easier than writing down in a notebook or on my phone notes. I would recommend this app..Version: 5.57

Just what I needed! Love it!I was looking for an easy way to track my food and symptoms. This app is perfect! So easy to use. Like other reviewers, I don't understand the people that had challenges. I think they didn't understand the basic, simple functionality. I've only used it for a few days now, so I haven't gotten to try the analysis portion but I'm interested to see if that works. For me that's just a bonus. I'm thinking I have to figure out this food/symptom mystery on my own. Speaking of bonuses, the app stores what you've eaten recently for breakfast, lunch, etc. so if you eat the same thing, it's extra easy to enter..Version: 4.81

Brilliant! With the help of this app I have got my life back. When doctors failed to understand my disparate symptoms of asthma, digestive and horrendous gerd symptoms I decided to start a food & everything diary. This app was the one I chose as it looked comprehensive and easy to use. I wasn’t wrong. I’ve been able to jot down all pertinent information about my daily health, diet, exercise, mood, everything. I’ve used it primarily for an elimination diet. I now have no asthma, no gerd, no digestive issues…and now no Oates. This app has helped me through a very dark time when I thought I’d never get to the bottom of my health issues. I’ve discovered I’m Oat (avenin) intolerant which I don’t believe would have been discovered if it hadn’t been for this app’s many features. I can not recommend it highly enough for anyone wishing to monitor/journal their health intake etc..Version: 5.58

Really like itEasy to use easy to track. I quite enjoy the app!.Version: 4.46

Fantastic AppI love this app. My GP asked me to keep a food diary to assist in identifying potential allergens. The problem I was having was I kept forgetting my paper diary and by days end I would forget a lot of the details. This app works for me because I carry my phone always so can update my diary as I go which means I'm getting a really accurate account. It's great that you can add your own personal symptoms to the list and can as other factors such as exercise, environmental conditions and stress and sleep quality. This app s working really well for me, I see my specialist next week and can produce a PDF version of my diary to help identify my allergies. So grateful for this app..Version: 4.11

Ok diary appWorks for people having to track ingredients and symptoms for FODMAP elimination. It’s pretty time consuming to enter the info since the UX isn’t well thought out and a bit illogical (and searching is awful) but once you have done the painful part of creating your favourite foods and recipes then it’s not so bad. Wish it also included calorie and nutritional information so you could track all your food stats in one app to make sure you’re not under-eating. At the moment I have to use 3 apps to manage my difficult diet, with a better design this could replace 2 in one go..Version: 4.931

Easy to useI use this app daily. Very easy to use..Version: 4.46

Just what the doctor orderedI was surprised to find this app because I thought my list of requirements was too large - Obviously many others had the same requirements as me. This app is perfect for my needs as a food diary and tracking IBS (or related condition) symptoms. I can personalize it by creating my own events or outcomes to monitor within the app. I would recommend this for even just using as a food diary. If the next update includes my suggestions for improving the interface and backing up data to iCloud, then it will be perfect and get 5 stars. For now only 4½ but highly recommended, nothing better..Version: 4.0.51

Sjögren’s and H-EDS and FibromyalgiaThis app is was easy to individualize especially after I was able to set it up. I still have a little trouble with reading the reports. It has detailed reports just not a good key legend to go with the reports. For me that is bot a deal breaker for using the app just a learning curve. I have Sjögren's Syndrome , H-EDS (Hyper-Mobility - Ehler’s-Danlos Syndrome), and Fibromyalgia on top of mental illnesses. This app allows me to track all my symptoms and what I eat on top of any movement and medication/supplement to help correlate what helps, what doesn’t and helps with needed adjustments. This app is amazing and easy once you get the hang of it! 🎉🎊🤗.Version: 5.50

Simple to use & beautifully crafted App.!To add to my previous review below. This App is one of my favourites. It has consistently been excellent & continues to improve all the time with easier ways of doing things & better features being added. No matter how long I leave it between adding to the diary it remembers everything I previously did. The developers are always happy to add to or modify the app on request if it's helpful. This App is now also great for monitoring lifestyle as well as food intake. Simple to use & beautifully crafted App. My previous review reads: Aside from being excellent at analysing & monitoring allergies, this app is also an invaluable tool for anyone watching their diet. The act of inputting everything into the diary helps the user to realise exactly what they are eating & how much. Also it's great when I want to remember how I made a certain meal as I can look back & see what ingredients I used & how they affected my allergies which helps me to modify recipes accordingly. Great app & I would recommend to everyone even those people without allergies..Version: 4.13

Great appI struggled with digestive problems for around a year and was not able to identify where the issue was. Including several visits to doctors and a few tests. Within two weeks this app pointed out a link between my symptoms and dairy. Turns out I am lactose intolerant. I have changed my diet and it is great. No more pain!.Version: 4.46

Good but I want to track weightThis app is brilliant for anyone with stomach problems, ibs, or just wanting to watch your day I've had this app a few days and found it easy to record details such as whether I've eaten something, had a nap, gone to the toilet, any symptoms I'm feeling, whether I've exercised, pretty much anything I'm doing! I thought I'd find it a struggle to get into the habit of writing down everything I do but because you can say the time you did the activity you can record your whole day in one! Super handy if you need details for a doctor etc. My only problem is that you should be able to track even more such as weight and whether you've had a cigarette (which I guess you could go on environment and say cigarette smoke but not quite the same I feel) Properly recommend this app, I was worried about spending money on apps but it's really worth it.Version: 4.46

Highly recommendedI use this app to constantly log what I'm eating and any symptoms I have. It's obviously much easier than trying to do it with pen and paper, and better than similar free apps that I tried out. Most importantly, I've found it a help and not a hindrance in identifying foods that are a problem for me. It's very quick to load and use, fairly intuitive to operate and is very stable. What you get out of it depends on what you put in. There are some oddities, such as the range of foods that are in there, but I just put in my own anyway. What I would advise anyone using this, or similar apps, is to be clear about what it is you want to capture before you start using it. (You can, of course, work it out as you go along, as I did, but it might have been better if I thought about it beforehand.) The analyst function is nonsense, in my view, as it identifies walking the dog (something I do every day) as one of the factors involved in my IBS! But don't let that put you off - the rest of it is very good..Version: 3.52

Awesome so far.Works perfectly for me so far, anything it doesn’t have I’m able to add. Doesn’t want a monthly fee like the other greedy app developers. Love it!! Thank you for being one of the good ones..Version: 5.21

A Pleasure to useIt is so hard to keep track of your food intake but this app makes it easy. Plus you can record your symptoms and as they happen and look back and see what you ate the day before to cause these symptoms. Recording the type of bowel movement as part of the app is so helpful for IBS..Version: 4.931

Comprehensive and easy to useThe only improvement I would make is adding the ability to track calories, macros and weight.Version: 5.28

Excellent App!!Excellent App. Easy to use. Great at tracking meals and correlating what you ate back to your symptoms. It at least gives "food for thought" to enable you to identify possible culprits. Happy with my purchase. Excellent job App Dev Team!!!.Version: 4.46

Breastfeeding MamaI am breastfeeding my baby and using this app to track how my food/drink intake affects the baby. I input my meals and drinks and then put in the symptoms of the baby and nap quality. The main things I’m tracking in my consumption to see if they affect baby are caffeine, dairy, conmen allergens, and alcohol. I mostly want to see how they affect the ease at which baby goes down for naps, sleep quality, fussiness, and digestive health. This app could be marketed to nursing mothers and be so useful! It would really help if you could add an input for “Nursed” or “Fed Baby”..Version: 5.28

Highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I have been looking for an app that you can documents food, what triggers my symptoms , food diary , mood etc, this app is a real game changer , big thanks to the developers and well worth £3.99 in my opinion.Version: 5.15

Awesome AppI really really like this app I can keep track of my food water bowel movements just about anything everything is customizable and it’s so easy to use. I love how you can print a nice PDF report that’s amazing. Everything is synchronized from one device to the other so any device that you download the app on you can synchronize all of your information this app deserves a five star and no less thank you so much.Version: 5.28

Will be hard to beatThis can be as simple or as complicated as the user wants to make it. Unlike other food diaries I've tried, this one includes time of intakes as well as time of "event". I like that it will correlate "stew" and then separately correlate the separate ingredients so you can see which one is the culprit. After using it for a couple of weeks, adding data is routine. I suspect it will take a bit longer for the analyses to give proper answers and trends. All in all a useful app - recommended..Version: 4.46

The best up to nowI have used most free food diaries and was let down by over complicated or under-thought interfaces. Also hated the online signup think. This up is user friendly and clutter free with all layers of info you need to follow up your habits and their symptoms. Design is s bit blunt though. Improvement: Less steps from choosing the food to adding it in the diary. When I click "+" it could just add it to my day list and skip middle stage. Great app overall!.Version: 4.46

Excellent!Such a useful app! I have a partially obstructed bowel and this app really helps me manage it by showing me likely foods or combinations that cause flare ups. It is very easy to use, and very customisable to suit almost any situation. One suggestion I have is to include quantity of bowel output - that would be useful for me to track..Version: 4.71

Good appI found this app pretty easy to use. Better than the app I had been using previously. It did take a little work to find the analysis and add additional items, but all in all I like it it will stay with it. Miss the fact that it has no iCloud sync. It would be nice to be able to input on my iPhone and then sync with my iPad later at home..Version: 4.46

Fantastic app; very helpfulThis is a great app that works smoothly and delivers exactly what it promises. It is rich in features, super easy to use, and has great customisation options. Two things that would improve it and take it to the next level are the ability to enter how much of each food you've eaten and the ability to track nutrients in food (eg. how much magnesium am I consuming over the course of a day) as nutrient deficiencies are often the cause of symptoms. Another would be to add how long a symptom lasted in the main day view (eg. 9am - 4.15pm). Thanks! Keep up the great work..Version: 4.1

BaronessThis app is very useful and well programmed. A suggestion: enable quantity to be factored in. For example if I eat a small amount of lentils it's ok but a large amount is not. I may want to check how the amount of potato I eat is affecting me etc. Could be difficult to program but it would significantly boost the utility of this app. As it is, the app gets top marks for what it can do already..Version: 4.11

Probably the best in its categoryHas a bit of a learning curve and all the options can be a bit overwhelming, but is much more versatile than most other apps..Version: 4.81

Well thought out app - easy to useI need to use a food diary to track everything while the RPA allergy unit are testing me for food intolerances. They recommended it to me & it is fantastic. I love how you can add recipes to make the process quicker & being able to copy items from a previous day is a huge timesaver. Being able to add notes & environment changes really gives a clear picture in case symptoms are more environment related than food related. I'm not sure I have found anything on this app that I think could be improved which is really rare. Great app!!.Version: 4.13

Daily MedicationThis app seems good and easy to use. However it’s laborious to add all my medication every day. It would useful to create a daily template. Then I would consider a 5 star review..Version: 5.26

PerfectionExactly what I needed to track diet, exercise, medication and supplements. I love that it simply records the data without judgmental ‘motivation’ goals telling you to eat more/less or whatever. It is simple to use, and simple to add items to the database. I really think this will help me a lot as my health practitioners are sorting through a few different diagnoses. Thanks!.Version: 4.81

Good appReally easy way to record your food and drink intake. With the analytics review can give a good idea of what could be causing any issues. The only thing missing is a calorie counter against all the items but hopefully that will come..Version: 4.81

Great but need Sync! This is a fabulous App. The best diary/tracker I've found for anyone, not just those with IBD etc. However, huge weakness is that is doesn't sync with my iPad. Since it downloaded on both devices, I thought it would sync. In all honesty, the description says it doesn't sync but there was a lot to read through and I just made an assumption. The developer was very quick and nice in response to my email..Version: 4.44

Love this app!I have Crohn’s disease and am now adjusting to living with about 3ft fewer intestines than I’m used to. I’ve had to make some major diet and lifestyle changes and this app has helped me keep track of it all. It can be tedious to enter in every little thing, but eventually, it starts to remember things you do regularly so it gets faster as you continue to use it. Helps me figure out what is causing my symptoms. Thanks for making it!.Version: 4.81

Not Just for FoodI have a number of medical issues that I have been asked to keep a diary for. I cam across this app after trying a number of different one's. For me personally it is just what I wanted. I can keep tabs on my issues, add additional notes and then export it so it can be printed and handed to my medical team. As and when episodes happen you can add them on the phone and they are recorded there and then. Added new food items or symptoms is easy, as is adding notes to accompany them. I am visually impaired and also the app easy to see when so many make it difficult. Overall its a great app, easy to use, easy to export. Only things I wish could be added is the ability to use in landscape and to be able to set alas for meds. Thanks very much..Version: 3.3

Very usefulThis is the app I have been looking for in order to possibly find links between food and symptoms. Plus, I can easily make a pdf for my GP or acupuncturist so they can see a bigger picture. HOWEVER, i was disappointed to find that I can't enter data between my phone and ipad. So, choose wisely which device as you can't currently edit and add info on more than one device even with the app installed in both. App developers, please rectify this pronto. Otherwise, terrific and Would be 5 stars..Version: 4.81

Good appUseful for inputting food items and symptoms, but am doubtful of the results provided by their analyzer. Still an efficient way to track though!.Version: 4.46

PerfectThis app is exactly what I needed. I wish I could add more categories for example blood pressure and glucose but I just add it under other , i love the ability to add notes..Version: 4.81

Mr mikeVery professional. Would work well for most issues as it is such a flexible system.Version: 4.0.51

Useful! This app is helping me track food sensitivities, and it does seem to be helping. I’m still learning how to read the analysis portion (can be a little confusing, but there’s some solid info it provides), and I’m definitely starting to see patterns and what foods have been causing symptoms. No definite answers yet, but it has led me to a couple paths to try following! Support was quick to answer when I had a suggestion, I’m guessing they’d be be questions as well....Version: 4.81

ExcellentExcellent app, very easy to use and great if you want to track your diet for any reason, also great way to keep track of medications taken etc... Developer was very quick to respond when I had an issue and resolved in no time at all, highly recommend downloading this, price is also very reasonable for the content provided. :-).Version: 5.22

Excellent app. Best of its kind!!It only as good as how regularly and honestly you input. It proves very insightful and the process of inputting alone makes you more aware of what you are eating. They just made an update to fine revamp look ( drinks now separate) and highly recommend using this. If you send results to nutritionist ( you can email it) you will reach new levels in getting to the bottom of intolerances. Once the developers update it to log water intake ( with notices/ alarms to remind) and things like urine/ stool logging ( yes this is gross but it vital to food etc reviewing ) it will be the perfect app. Really annoys me people complain about lack of entries: you make your own mostly and it remembers them each time! Crazy thing to criticize this app for..Version: 3.1

HelpfulThis app is an aid to me , It helps me keep track of my multiple symptoms ! I am able to track meals symptoms , stress, sleep and bowel movements , which is crucial with my diseases..Version: 4.46

Good appI have a chronic illness and type one diabetes so being able to track all my symptoms both physical and mental is extremely helpful for myself and my doctors. I do wish you could view your diary and the first thing on top be the most recent item you posted not the first thing you posted from the day. It also asks for a lot of detail when you log anything which is time consuming and not something you can do super quick compared to other apps. But overall I’m pleased with it and would recommend it to others..Version: 4.931
